Bubble Guppies Teen Years: Another Tale

Chapter 4: The Proudest

Our protagonist continued with the search for the remaining Bubble Guppies. Molly was missing and Gil was eager to find her. Which means two less and five more to go. Zooli decided to spend a moment in the city park. She was beginning to remember some moments that she had in that place. For example, in that place, she met Izzy, her frog, when she was a tadpole. It was at a time that Zooli was still grieving for her over the death of her parents. At least that's what she remembered, because now they were alive. At that moment, Zooli began to analyze something.

"(Wow. If Gil changed drastically in this new world ... I don't want to imagine how the other guppies changed. What did Gil mean that they turned their backs on him? That ... is not what Bubble Guppies would do)" Zooli said all of this in her mind.

Without her planning it, she saw the basketball court and saw some boys playing baskets. She wasn't going to care until she saw that one of them was none other than Goby. He was playing with other boys while several girls watched them play.

"Nice Goby! You´re the best!"

"We love you, Goby!"

Several girls flatter him a lot. And who can blame them? He was one of the best players, as well as being attractive. As you must imagine, Goby beat all those guys.

"Hehehe. Another victory" Goby smirked.

"You just got lucky, man!" One of them commented.

"There are no excuses. I always beat all of you. It's pure talent, man. If you want to beat me, you must try harder" He commented.

"Pfff whatever. Guys, let´s play another thing…." The rest of the guy went away.

"Hehehe jealous" Goby rolled his eyes.

"(Ugh...smug)" Zooli thought.

"Don't listen to them. You´re the best"

"Yeah, you are more handsome and better than them"

"Hey, Goby! We should go out together"

"Relax, girls! I would love to go out with all of you. But this boy already has his girl" Goby smiled.

"Awwwww too bad!"

"See ya!" All the girls left him.

He was practicing a little more. He was going to practice alone. At least that's what he believed.

"Well….well….So you are Goby, right?" Zooli decided to show herself.

"Yeah. How do you know my….Oh...I know. I must be so popular that all the girls in town know me" Goby smirked.

"Well….not exactly. I´m Zooli. Don't you remember?" Zooli asked confused.

"I don't know any girl with that name. But hey! It is a pleasure" Goby commented with a kind smile.

"Oh...It´s a pleasure too" She answered.

"I understand that you want to go out on a date with me. I am impossible to resist. But, I'm already engaged" Goby smirked.

"What? Of course not! I just want to talk to you about something very important" Zooli commented, a little bothered.

"It's okay, girl. You don't have to be rude. I'm quite a casanova, so I understand your intentions" Goby commented very confident.

"Ugh No! (sigh) Look, Goby. I don't know why you act like that. Don't you respect your girlfriend Deema?" Zooli asked. That caused Goby to change his expression drastically. It wasn't as violent a reaction as Gil, but it wasn't going to be a good thing either.

"Deema? Haha Deema is history. She and I already broke up. She thought that hurt me, but she was wrong. And now I'm dating her ex-best friend" Goby explained that as if it were a great feat

"Are you dating her ex-best friend? But if Molly is ..." Zooli tried to analyze it.

"Oona...I'm talking about Oona" Goby smirked.

"You did...WHAT?! How dare you date your friend Nonny's girlfriend?!" Zooli was furious.

"Ugh relax, girl! They broke up too. And Nonny isn't my friend anymore…..Wait a minute! How do you know all of this?" Goby looked at Zooli.

"All of you were the Bubble Guppies, right?" Zooli asked.

"(sigh) Yes, we WERE" He said that last word with bother.

"Are you going to tell me what happened between all of you?" Zooli asked with the hope he will tell her.

"I have no reason to tell you anything. Besides, does that matter? I am much better off without the others. Except for Oona, of course. Also, why would I say that to you, a person unknown to me?" Goby explained. Zooli did not want to continue arguing with him. His attitude was too pedantic to emerge victorious from that discussion.

"Well….I just want to ask you one thing. Oona still lives in the place that she always lives?" Zooli asked.

"Well...yeah. Why do you ask?" Goby asked confused.

"I'll just say that she's a friend of mine. See you later, Goby"

Zooli came out of there. Goby didn't understand much, but he didn't give it much thought either. However, the fact that she knew about his past worried him a little. And above all, he felt a strange foreboding. As if he already knew her before. But he ignored it. Zooli had a good feeling. If Oona was still at her house, she might see her best friend again. She knew that if there was anyone who could help her, it would be her. However, on the way she did not notice well and collided with another person.

"Hey! Look where you walk, weirdo!"

"Oh sorry! I'm sorry ... I didn't notice that ... Huh?" Zooli was surprised to know who was this person.

I regret the delay of the new chapters. Last week I got a bad cold and I couldn't do anything. But hey, I'll try to keep updating this story and the other one more often. Take care everyone and stay tuned for the next chapters
