Bubble Guppies Teen Years: Another Tale

Chapter 5: The Queen of the School

Zooli had bumped into someone. When she saw who it was again she was a bit surprised. The other girl saw her a little upset, as she bumped into her by accident. The funny thing is that the girl had two friends next to her. It was two teenage lobster girls.

"Hey, what are you looking at me, weird girl?"

"Huh? Wow….D...Deema, is it you?" Zooli asked surprised.

"Ugh yeah. Why are you asking ridiculous questions? Don't you know me? The whole school should know me" Deema commented with an arrogant tone.

"Of course I know you. You are Deema, the drama queen. One of the funniest of the Bubble Guppies. You….are my friend too!" Zooli explained. Deema was silent for a moment until the three girls started laughing.

"Hahahahaha good one, girly. You can tell you're out of date, friend. Good joke" Deema commented sarcastically.

"I'm not kidding you. Seriously, you are one of the Bubble Guppies. And you are my friend" Zooli added. She tried to convince her.

"First of all, you are not my friend. I don't even know who you are" Deema expresed.

"I know her! She´s the animal lover!" One of her friends told her.

"Oh yeah, the weird one" The other added.

"Oh really? Wow, I knew you were a weird girl, but not that rare" Deema mocked her.

"Strange? I'm not weird ... Well, maybe a little ... but not that bad. Still you accepted me" Zooli answered. She was a little hurt.

"Me? Accept you? Hahahaha, I'm not friends with weirdos like you" Deema said with a mean tone.

"Don't be so harsh, Deema. That's not you. Where is the kind girl, dramatic but funny?" Zooli asked.

"Mmmm girls….leave us alone" Deema ordered. The two girls just left them "(sigh) Who do you think you are? Don't you know that Bubble Guppies ceased to exist! We separated! Separate paths! End of discussion!"

"How? I know you guys broke up but ... why? How?" Zooli asked desesperated.

"I don't understand why you care so much? Do you see that that does not matter to me? I LOVE my new lifestyle. I am popular, I have many friends, all the boys at school want me, and of course, I have a spectacular boyfriend. Do you really think I want to get back to all those losers? Hahaha" Deema said it with proud.

"But ... they were your real friends! You replaced them like garbage! And did you replace your boyfriend ?! Goby loved you!" Zooli was angry.

"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING, STUPID! GET OUT MY WAY!" At that moment, Deema simply pushed Zooli away and threw her to the ground. She was very hurt. "And don't look for me or talk to me again, OK !?"

Deema left there annoyed. She didn't even pay attention to Zooli. She was injured physically (with scrapes) and psychologically. She was definitely cruel to her. How is it possible that Deema, a quirky, funny and kind girl ... turned into such an unpleasant and arrogant girl?

"Wow. Deema is a jerk" Zooli commented. She was on the ground.

"Oh no! Hey ... are you okay?" A mysterious girl appeared. She holds out her hand.

"It was Deema, right? Ohh, I hate when she does that to everyone. At least you're fine" The girl commented

"Thanks for helping me ... S ... Sharon ?!" Zooli was shocked. It was about a guppy girl with orange long hair. Her tail was light brown with dark blue strips.

"Yeah. I´m Sharon. How do you know my name?" Sharon asked.

"You...you...agh...We are classmates" Zooli said. Zooli didn't want to talk to her. Sharon has always been a girl who treated her badly.

"Oh really? Oh yeah! Nice to meet you!" Sharon smiled at her. Zooli was confused.

"Don't you play with me, Sharon? Why are you so nice to me? You never liked me. And I don't like you either" Zooli said it bothered.

"Oh my….Emmm Zooli, right? I don't remember talking to you. But if I made you feel bad I'm so sorry. I don't like having problems with anyone. Besides, you seem nice" Sharon was very nice with her.

"(One second! If the Bubble Guppies have changed for the worse. Possibly here Sharon is kind. Using reverse logic, she has to be nice. Not like the Sharon of my ... "world")" Zooli analyzed in her mind. "Ejem….Okay, uh ... I forgive you. And I'm sorry I treated you like a jerk. I'm just mad at Deema. Who does she think she is? Does she think she is the queen of the world or what?"

"I understand. Deema is one of the rudest and cruellest girls I know ... But although it sounds weird, she was not always like that" Sharon commented. Zooli just glanced at her "I swear, Deema wasn't always that way. She used to be very friendly with others. Maybe a bit over the top, but she was really easy to get along with. But then near the end of last year, something happened that made Deema more hostile towards everyone. It might have something to do with the disband of the Bubble Guppies"

"One moment! The Bubble Guppies split up? How?" Zooli asked.

"I am not really sure. I was never very close to them, but still they were very nice to me and I got along well with them. But things have changed since last year" Sharon explained a little.

"Last year? Mmmmmm This is rare. This coincides with ... Molly's disappearance!" Zooli expresed.

"Wait what things do you say? Well ... on second thought ... since she disappeared, the group broke up. So you might be right" Sharon commented.

"Oh my….The others will not listen to me. Who of them will listen to me?...Oh...I know! I have to find HER!" Zooli was decided to find another member.

"Okey? I don't know what you plan to do but ... I hope you succeed in whatever you want to do!" Sharon said it with a nice tone.

"Oh….by the way...I never thought I'd say this to you but ... Thank you, Sharon" Zooli said it with difficulty.

"You´re welcome, Zooli!" Sharon said. At that moment, Zooli left.

She was willing to find one of her friends. She got thoughtful in her way. The separation of the Bubble Guppies was a bad consequence. But, not everything seemed terrible. Her parents were alive and ... Sharon wasn't bad. She was a good person. Zooli wondered what if the Sharon she knew was like the other Sharon.

"(Sharon….if you were different...maybe we can be….friends?)"
