Chapter 2
That night, Alice was working on her designs at home. Rosebud sat on her dog bed watching.
Suddenly, Alice's computer made a ring sound. Alice looked surprised and saw she had an email.
Dear Alice,
We have seen pictures of your designs online; we invite you to take part in the wedding dress design on the country of Dove Isle. The winning dress will be worn for the wedding of prince Edward Markle, heir to the throne and son of king Harold IV and queen Kristi for his marriage to lady Bethany. The wedding will take place on Valentine's Day and the winning dress will be announced on the day before.

Alice's eyes widened as she read. Rosebud listened with interest as Alice read it out loud. It would be amazing to go to a kingdom and attend a royal wedding on Valentine's Day!
Alice jumped up and ran downstairs calling for her parents.
Rosebud followed wanting to hear what was gonna happen.
After talking with her parents for a while, and when they said yes, Alice went back upstairs to return the email in acceptance.

The next day, at school, Alice and Rosebud told the others the big news.
"Omg," said Rosebud. "You won't believe what happened last night. Alice got invited to enter a competition for a wedding dress for the prince of Dove Isle! His fiancée is going to wear it at their wedding if she's chosen."
"Dove isle?" asked B-dawg. "Never heard of it."
"I have," said Budderball, surprising the other pups. "It's an island not far from Ireland. Kind of like how Monaco is an island near France."
"It's going to be so exciting," said Rosebud. "But, I'm gonna miss you guys." Her smile dropping a bit in realization. Her brothers lowered their heads too.
Just then they heard their kids talking.
"That's so amazing," said Sam. "But it's not gonna be the same without all of us around."
"I know," agreed Peter.
"Well," said Alice. "I sent a message to the man in charge of planning arrangements in the royal family, asking if some friends and the buddies could come, and he said yes."
The whole gang was excited.
Rosebud was excited too.
"Isn't it great?!" cried Rosebud. "We all get to go to Dove Isle together!"
Budderball was excited too. "Yeah," he said excitedly. "A wedding means there's all that fancy foods, including the wedding cake." He licked his lips dreamily.
Buddha who was usually calm was also excited. "Yes," he said. "Love always brings peace and gets rid of negative energy."
"I don't know dudes," said Mudbud unsurely. "It's in a palace where it's all fancy and clean."
"It's more about that lovey dovey stuff" added B-dawg.
"But we're going on an adventure as usual," said Rosebud. "And the five of us have to stick together."
Mudbud and B-dawg thought for a minute and realized that their sister was right. they had been on a lot of adventures together and they couldn't leave each other behind.
"Alright dawg," said B-dawg. "Count me in."
"Me too" added Mudbud.
"My parents are calling all of yours," Alice continued to her friends. "And I'm sure they'll all say yes."
Author's note; I based the royal family's names after Meghan Markle because of her marriage to prince Harry, because like her I'm also Canadian.
