Chapter 12: Unknown Fate

It was a dark day for the entire town of Bubbletucky. They finally found Molly. But not like everyone wanted. Everyone learned of the unfortunate loss. Molly had died. At that moment, we can see Gil putting on elegant black clothes, the color of mourning. He took a photo that he had. They were the six Bubble Guppies together. What he saw was that he and Molly were hugging. He just threw the photo and some tears came from his face.

Goby was ready in his black suit. He just sat on the couch to reflect. The day he turned his back on Gil. He thought that he must have helped him on that day. He got up and went with his father and older brother.

Deema was looking in the mirror in her black dress. Many times her makeup was ruined by the tears that came out of her eyes. While she was getting ready, she met her younger siblings. They didn't say anything, they just hugged her older sister. They knew what happened

Oona was someone who didn't want to go to a certain event. But she had to be there. It would be the last time she would see her. So, enduring her immense sadness, she got up and put on her black dress for the event. Her mother was waiting for her. On the way, the two bumped into Ichiro, Oona's older brother. Oona just hugged him tightly as she cried over her brother.

Nonny was in his room suffering in silence. He felt it was all her fault. James manipulated him. Well, Nonny was the one who started with the doubts about him that generated the separation of the Bubble Guppies. However, he wasn't just because of Molly. Him but for all her other friends. He knew he should be there. His adoptive parents waited for him to leave.

Zooli was devastated in her room. She was crying non-stop. She was covering her head with the "knee" of her tail. Her parents only looked at her sadly. They both came in to comfort her. When Zooli calmed down, they decided to go out with her to her destination.

Urchin had his black suit ready to go. But someone took him by the arm. It was his mother and they both argued. In that world, Urchin's mom was still strict and overprotective. But the authority of his mother would not stop Urchin. He just broke free and he left without saying anything more to his mother.

Finally, everyone made it to the church. Not only was it the Bubble Guppies, their families, and Molly's entire family, but almost the entire city was there. They all knew Molly because she helped them at some point. They were all gathered in mourning. Crying abounded throughout the place. After a few words from the priest, Robert (Molly's father), Gil, Goby, and one other man (possibly Molly's uncle) raised Molly's coffin and began the funeral march. They had to bear not only the weight of the coffin, but their desire to cry without stopping. They all started going straight to Bubbletucky Cemetery.

They had finally reached the cemetery. There was a lobster man in a black suit preparing the last words of farewell. While some three more locust men were using shovels to make the grave hole. When the 4 men placed the coffin in front of the hole, they returned to their families and the last farewell was about to begin.
"Greetings to all, family and friends. Today we meet in mourning. We are here to say goodbye to Molly Gentilella. A girl with big dreams and always willing to give everything for the good of others. We regret the fact that she left us so soon and so tragically. However, she will still live in our hearts and memories. As long as we remember her fondly, she will never really die. So rest in the peace of the Lord, Molly Gentilella. Beloved Daughter, Beloved Sister, Beloved Friend, Beloved Girlfriend" The man's words only unleashed the tears of all the people present. Many decided to approach the coffin to say goodbye.

The ones that stand out the most were the Bubble Guppies, they were in the front row next to the Gentilella family. The one who lasted closest to Molly was Gil. The most painful was the turn of Miriam, Robert and Mia. Especially Mia, she as a farewell, put Molly's favorite blue microphone on top of the coffin. When she did that, she broke down in tears and her parents separated her. Zooli saw Mia's reaction, it was the one she had when she lost her parents. With pain in their hearts, 4 male guppies took the coffin and placed it in the hole. And they started to bury the coffin. Needless to mention the reaction of everyone present.

Finally, they all began to withdraw little by little. Starting with the people not very close to Molly, then the Guppy family, they left the guppies there. Then Molly's friends (who weren't from the Bubble Guppies) left. Those who stayed the longest were the Bubble Guppies, Molly and Mia's parents. They all began to retreat slowly. In the end only Zooli, Urchin and Gil were left. Finally, Gil got up and walked over to Zooli just to say something to her.
"It makes no sense to go on living" Gil said.
"What are you thinking to do?" Zooli was worried.
"(sigh) They found Jane's corpse. It won't take long to find and arrest me. I will simply surrender. I have nothing to lose ... Not anymore" Gil simply left them alone without saying anything else. Zooli didn't want Gil to turn himself in to the police, but nothing would change his mind.
"Wow….Everything ... Everything went wrong. What do you think will happen to others after this?" Urchin asked.
"I….I...I don't know" Zooli answered with sadness.
"I think none of this should happen in "your world" Tell me, how was everything there?" Urchin asked.
"Everything was better than this. It wasn't perfect, because we had problems, but it wasn't. And now, I don't know what is real or not" Zooli answered.
"This is all very confusing. But ... what I know is real is ... my love for you, Zooli" Urchin said blushed.

"Huh?!" Zooli was scared to hear that voice. Behind her appeared a subject in black clothes and a black hood.
"You shouldn't care about Molly's death. After all, in this world, the two of you weren't friends. You were strangers" The black hooded guy said.
"W...Who are you? And ... what do you know about this?" Zooli was shocked.
"Me? My name is not relevant. And about this world? Well ... everything that happened ... was your fault" The guy pointed their finger to her,
"M...My fault? How?" Zooli was scared.
"You do not remember? Your wish was fulfilled. You said: "I wish ... I wish to see them again ... one more time" Well you changed everything" The guy explained.
"N...No...It isn´t true. You´re a liar!" Zooli was in a defensive mode.
"That's right, friend. Your selfish desire to see Mommy and Daddy again caused your friends' lives to be ruined. But ... that didn't matter to you, did it?" They made a evil smile.
"Of course I care about the lives of my friends!" Zooli said angrily.
