The war was getting colder by the minute, the changelings were losing. The rain kept pouring harder and the ship started to rock!
"Sisu's trying to flood Never Land to save all of us" Rapunzel gasped in realization.
Twilight blasted a changeling into a ball of fireworks. She cheered until she felt something grabbing her horn.
It was Dastardly! He shook Twilight's head, sprinkling pixie dust into his face.
The alicorn didn't like it, even when she was smaller.
Just like that, Dastardly rose into the air.
Muttley was shocked but excited for his captain.
"Cap'n!" Muttley cheered, "Rasm frasm you're flying!"
"'Indeed, Muttley," Dastardly confirmed, "But I haven't flown since I was young, time to test the limits.."
Flynn, still fighting some of the other pirates, didn't notice Dastardly. The captain roared behind him, which startled him at the sight of his nemesis being able to fly like him.
"It's Dastardly, he flies!" grinned the pirate, flipping his sword. "And he likes it!"
"Hey, no fair!" Flynn yelled.
The boy then grinned once again, now that he had finally been given another epic challenge.
"Okay, Dastardly!" Flynn boasted, "You wanna fly, let's fly!"
Then Captain Dastardly gave chase after Flynn. Remembering the old tricks when he was still a young lad, from when he first learned to fly with Twilight, he had every advantage he could take.
Daphne tried to fight the changeling but she lost balance and slipped! She grabbed onto the edge of the crow's nest.
"Somebody help me, please!" she cried.
Rapunzel saw that her daughter was in trouble and ran to save her, only to be attacked by Pharynx, the guard changeling.
Flynn tried to go for Daphne but Zhan Tiri pushed him out of the way.
Daphne then lost her grip and fell toward the rising water below.
Dastardly quickly reacted in fear and dove down, catching Daphne before she could get hurt.
They resurfaced from the water, holding onto to the raised anchor.
"Are you alright?" asked Dastardly.
"Yeah, thanks… again" Daphne gasped.
As he fought Zhan Tiri, Flynn was surprised. He saw Dastardly not as an enemy but a person with feelings.
So, he decided to do one last prank on the captain.
"Hey Twili, aren't you able to take your fairy dust back?" he asked Twilight, still smiling.
Twilight nodded and then gave Dastardly her mischief glare, instantly taking back her pixie dust back from him.
"Oh, no" he groaned.
Dastardly fell into the water, only to be fished out by Rapunzel.
Flynn flew around Zhan Tiri to distract her.
"I know what you are, boy!" the dark spirit called out to Flynn.
'And I'm the best there ever was!" Flynn bragged.
"You're a tragedy!"
"Me? Tragic?"
"She's going to leave you, Pan!"
Suddenly Flynn's smile faded, as the sinister spirit continued.
"Daphne is going to leave you... Just like Rapunzel..."
Flynn looked down at Daphne, still battling the pirates. With his guard down, Zhan Tiri quickly went to strike at him, but Flynn just manages to block the attack.
"No..." the boy responded, "No she wouldn't!"
"And why is that?" Zhan Tiri continued, with a sinister smirk, "She will grow tired of you, and then she will leave you here all alone."
"Shut up!"
Flynn went to strike Zhan Tiri, but she easily blocked and then violently pushed the boy to the masts.
Slowly, Flynn started to grow weaker. Now his mind started to flood with these emotions. Emotions he had never felt before in battle. Pride was one of his strongest strengths and it was slowly fading away as the monstrous woman continued to break the boy.
"Let us take a look into the future, shall we?" Zhan Tiri taunted, as she hovered closer toward Flynn, "You're flying through London, trying to get into the nursery, but the window is barred and shut."
"I'll call out her name!" Flynn protested.
"Rapunzel is gone. Daphne can't hear or see you."
"Enough!"
"To her, this is only a dream. She'll wake up, she'll be Daphne...a selfish little girl who wants her dead daddy to come home...who's obsessed protecting her baby brother... and runs and hides from her mother's silly fantasies. She will grow old and leave her childhood behind, and then she will slowly begin to forget about you..."
"Please, stop it!'
With the boy finally vulnerable, Zhan Tiri used this to her advantage and was about strike Flynn when…
"FLYNN!"
Angry was violently thrown to the ground, mortally wounded.
"Zhan Tiri, no!" Flynn cried.
The war came to a complete halt, all the natives and changelings were shocked.
They were shocked to see the hero cradle the dying Angry on the floor, still having tears escaping his eyes.
"Do you know what I wish?" she asked.
"What?" frowned Flynn.
"I wish I had a real mother… like her."
Flynn knew she meant Rapunzel since she was a kind mother to Daphne and Elroy.
All eyes were locked on the fallen Pan, their close friend, who is nothing more than a shell of what he once was.
"Eugene?" Rapunzel whispered.
But all Flynn could do was see his friends' reactions.
Tears dripped from Daphne and Rapunzel's eyes, Twilight was hurt from seeing him hurt, the Lost Boys were crying and most the Never Land creatures felt sorrow for him.
"'At long last..." Zhan Tiri declared, "Pan is defeated."
Daphne wouldn't accept this. She couldn't stand seeing Flynn like this. Her hand tightened into a fist.
Dastardly was the first to notice, sensing how her furiousness and knew how he felt when he lost his hand.
"You…"
Daphne suddenly jumped on Zhan Tiri, ready to rip her head off, screaming "YOU MONSTER!"
But Zhan Tiri tossed the young girl to the ground.
"Don't fool with me, ya little brat!" snarled the dark spirit, pointing a sword at her.
Of course Flynn was done playing games this time and was ready. The boy set the now dead Angry to the ground and aimed his dagger at Zhan Tiri.
"Put up your swords boys" he ordered. "It's Zhan and me this time."
Zhan Tiri cackled as she morphed into a copy of Dastardly, only keeping her yellow and blue eyes.
"Prepare to die, Flynn Pan" she said.
"To die would be a great adventure" Flynn replied with a grin.
"Death is the only adventure you have left."
Swords clashed between Flynn and Zhan Tiri and then suddenly…
The ship started to float and drift away from the badlands. The children and adults watched in awe.
"Sisu, you're the best!" Daphne cheered quietly.
The animals and Northuldra immediately ran into the brig for shelter. Tong started steering the helm. Muttley climbed up the crows' nest. Everybody was working together.
Flynn was impressed by the teamwork forming until Zhan Tiri grabbed Elroy by the collar.
"Mom! Daphne!" cried Elroy.
"Make a move and the boy drowns" Zhan Tiri warned.
Rapunzel gasped. She didn't like her children in danger more than anything. She wanted to help but Elroy will be dropped into the water if she rescues him.
Flynn was now ballistic than ever.
"You killed Angry. You killed Dastardly's dear Namaari. You kidnapped Rapunzel's children. You deserve to die."
The woman didn't respond and hung Elroy over the edge of the ship.
"Zhan Tiri!" Rapunzel screamed with fury. "Leave the boy alone! He has nothing do to with this, I'm the one you want!"
"I will find you wherever you are, Rapunzel!" Zhan Tiri roared in response. "I promise you, wherever you go, wherever you are...I vow there will always be daggers flung at the doors of your children's children's children."
Daphne, however, wasn't taking chances. She nodded to Dastardly, who nodded in agreement.
At an instant, Dastardly yanked Zhan Tiri by the hair, causing her to throw Elroy.
Daphne flew ahead and rescued Elroy, placing him on the mast.
This made Zhan Tiri now mad than ever! Smoke surrounded her growling, sneering face.
The Lost Boys, Tong and Muttley were afraid of what was happening.
Flynn and Daphne brought Rapunzel and Dastardly, respectively, onto the mast with Elroy.
"Rapunzel, Daph, you guys gotta get away from Never Land!" Flynn panicked.
"No, we're not leaving you!" replied Daphne. "We've got this together."
Flynn and Daphne smiled to each other as they soon joined hands and flew together. However, the moment was killed once Dastardly yelped as the mast started to rip.
Zhan Tiri was growing and slowly began transforming into a demon.
Her demon shape was extremely tall and muscular monster with black skin, sharp teeth, curled ram-like horns, long arms with claws on each finger and a torso full of squid-like tentacles. She retained her head strap and gem. Plus, both of her eyes were in different colors; her right eye yellow while her left eye was blue.
Rapunzel and Elroy huddled in fear.
Worried for everyone, Twilight and the fairies brought the animals, the Northuldra and the Lost Boys onto the highest mountain in all of Never Land.
"You pitiful, insignificant brats!" said Zhan Tiri, her voice now booming as thunder.
Muttley and Tong immediately jumped onto a lifeboat, waiting to see if Dastardly was to join them.
Zhan Tiri's tentacle swung to hit Rapunzel and the children, but they jumped off the mast and dove out of the way. Dastardly wasn't so lucky.
"You know the rules, Dastardly," Zhan Tiri mocked. "A good captain always goes down with his ship!"
He soon crashed through the floors of his ship, tearing off his coat and boots before soon crashing to underwater.
"Dastardly!" Daphne called out.
With an evil laugh, Zhan Tiri climbed onto the ship, bringing it down and then it sunk!
Everyone gaped in horror! That was their only chance to escape the flood.
Then, whirlpools were created and Dastardly got sucked into one, stranded at the bottom.
Flynn was about to stab Zhan Tiri but she blasted him out of the sky, sending him to the bottom of another whirlpool.
He was about to give up when he found a colored stone much like Zhan Tiri's eyes. Then he had an idea.
Dastardly struggled to get up but Zhan Tiri's tentacles tortured him, squeezing his arms until it hurt and was ready to rip him apart.
Flynn then flew over to Daphne.
"This is your chance, Daph" he said. "Use your powers."
Daphne rose over Never Land and touched the stone. Her eyes started to glow and the stone floated in her hands. She then recited the words her mother once used.
"Flower, gleam and glow, let your power shine
"Make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine."
Zhan Tiri screamed in pain and dropped Dastardly, he splashed into the water.
Everyone watched as Zhan Tiri exploded, her wrath was over. Thus parish Zhan Tiri.
"It can't be!" Dastardly gasped.
Daphne smiled at her friends and family, then realized she had to fix Never Land as well.
"Heal what has been hurt, change the fates design
"Save what has been lost, bring back what once was mine…"
The tides started to pull out, green life was returning and the injured were instantly healed. The changelings were even restored to their gentle, love giving nature.
"What once WAS MINE!"
With a final blast from the stone, Never Land was restored to its beautiful self and the stone faded away.
Loud cheers were heard as the Northuldra, the animals and fairies returned to their homes.
Twilight dove down toward Dastardly and lifted him out of the water.
Dastardly noticed, though he was still surprised and traumatized after what had just happened. He wanted to say thank you but no words came out.
"Don't worry." Twilight said softly, carrying him to the island, "You're safe now."
She slowly dropped Dastardly onto the ground, whose clothes were ripped due to his desperate struggling and crashing through the ship.
He could only sit there trembling and shivering with trauma after that nightmarish experience he just went through.
Daphne landed on the island, tired and weak from the power of the stone. Flynn caught her before she could faint.
Dastardly slowly recovered and bumped into Rapunzel.
"Hi!" she greeted.
"Where's your daughter?" Dastardly asked worriedly.
"Oh, there!" pointed Elroy. "With Flynn Pan!"
They saw Flynn carry the unconscious Daphne toward the shade of a tree.
"Oh, no" whispered Rapunzel.
