Warning: This is a self insert, but of a past, present, and what if version of myself. I'm doing this for fun and to practice writing to see if this is something I would like to make into a real hobby. This is a AU, so there will be changes to the lore, and event's.

A few notes: I've went back and did a few videos studies on aura, and will be doing my own thing with it, it's just far to inconsistent for me, and doesn't have a proper system. I mostly won't be using anything that RT retconned.

This is more of a kingdom hearts theme story than an actual Kingdom hearts story.

I will be going over some things that made me who I am. I'm not the best of people, and I'm not looking for pity. I plan on this being the only time I do something like revealing real world back stories, but hey, who knows. It will be dark, so you have been warned.

Your input: I'm probably going to be shipping myself with one of the RWBY characters, but I'll let you, the reader decide who.

Unknown location

Two figures sat in darkness, looking down into a whirlpool of mana, seeing a dark skin male escaping from the heartless, being helped by some cloaked figure, and then escaping to one of the worlds.

"So... Hehehe. A key wielder got away." A deep, but silky voice spoke with amusement.

"Yeah, so what? These key wielder's have been easy to stump out so far. Why should we worry about this rat getting away?" This voice being far more arrogant spoke without the slightest amusement in his voice.

"Hmm. I believe we should use caution. He is from a nexus world, so he might have some insight of who we all are, and it seems he already have a concept of what he is involved in. Meaning, he might already know words of power, and how to use his new found gift's. Not only that, his heart might be connected to a formidable world, or even one of our worlds." The one with the silky voice reasoned.

"Ha! A novice with power is still a novice. No matter what world his heart maybe connected too, I doubt that it would be enough to take down all of us, let alone one of us. Once we find him, we'll crush him like the rest."

"Perhaps. But instead of doing away with him, how about we bring him into the fold? Did you not see his spark?"

"Yes, I did. It was probably the most darkest one I've seen out of all the key wielders we've crushed."

"Exactly. I believe I can turn him. With the power of key at our disposal, there would be no world left untouched, no being that doesn't fear our names."

"Interesting. Shall we inform the others?"

"No. It would be better if his escape stays between the two of us." A truly sinister smile appeared on his face. "Perhaps, even provide him with aid..."

"...Ha HA HaHa Ha Ha Ha! Yes! I see! Ha ha haha hahaha! It's about time we made our move!"

Both of them shared a treacherous smile.

I didn't feel like waking up just yet. I felt... I felt as if I was slowly sinking. When I opened my eyes, I found myself landing on a dark purple floor that looked like glass.

Looking around, seeing that I was surrounded by darkness and the only light was coming from the flooring, I stood there confused for a second until it hit me.

"So it wasn't a dream?"

I looked down at the purple stained glass and saw that the places where there was suppose to be images of other characters lay empty. Next to them a image of myself sleeping in the same position sora would be in if this was his dive to the heart. It's a image of a dark skin male, with low cut hair, wearing a black hoodie, gray camouflage cargo pants, and black shoes.

But why am I here? This isn't a game, so I don't see the reason for me being here?

"Brave, but lost...

"There was no voice, but I could somehow feel the words of whoever was talking.

"Who's there?"

"Will you continue your fall into darkness..."

The darkness that surrounded me shifted. Like being in a movie theater, familiar events started playing. It started off with me being abused and bullied as a child.

I rolled my eyes at this. I was too weak to do anything at that time, and when I finally decided to take matters into my own hands by hiding a kitchen knife under my pillow, my step dad ended up hitting my sister pretty hard, and for some reason that was crossing the line for my mom, never mind all the shit that was happening to me.

I chuckled, even as it played before my eyes. Him finding any reason to beat me. Shoes untied, ass whooping. Accidentally putting my underwear on backwards, ass whooping. Emasculating me in front of my sister and her friend. I forgot why I got that beating, but having to run around as he held my arm and tagged me with a belt as I screamed bloody murder while my sister and her friend watched on was pretty shameful. I hated my younger self for being so damn weak. The imagery faded back to black.

The abuse taught me something very valuable. That fear is a powerful tool, and that I had the strength to do WHATEVER it took to alleviate myself.

It started up again, and went into when I joined a gang, willing to do ANYTHING for respect and power.

I smirked at this. This part of my life I'm a bit proud of, it's when I grew a pare and started fighting back, both literally and figuratively. Though, it was at the cost of being what people would call a decent human being. I robbed, jumped, threaten, even plotted to kill others. I've been gun downed multiple times, and have gun down others. I was even given the alias Anubis.

Moments played of myself being betrayed by those who I thought were my friends. When I started to get power hungry, when I started to fall out with family and child hood friends, all played out like a movie.

I unintentionally snarled, was I being judged!? Throwing both my arm's out, I shouted, "What!? Am I supposed to feel bad about what I've done!? Was I suppose to let people walk over me!? Was I suppose to continue being a victim!? Look! I'm done with that gang shit! I been left that chapter of my life behind me! All I do now is play games, work, and watch anime!"

I felt like I had to defend myself. What if because of my past this power is taken away from me?

The 'movie' started to play events of when I left the gang I was in, then showed moments of her, my Ex. For some reason, the world around me seem to brighten up a bit. I watched on fondly. This was a part of my life that I could never get back, but also wanted to live again. The relationship ended on good terms. I understood that she had to move away due to her circumstances, but I loved her to deeply. Even after years of our break up that only felt like months to me, I still loved her. And when I learned she moved on, I couldn't blame her, it had been years, I was her past, but the pain and anger was my present at that time until it died down into a dull echo.

The events after that was...nothing to speak of. It was like I stopped living. It showed me helping people out from time to time, being a so called good samaritan, but nothing to eventful like when I was trying to climb my way to the top of the gang life, or when I was with her.

My surroundings faded back into black, and there was a flash from behind me.

"Or will you walk in the light..."

I turned around to see a pinkish door.

"Be careful. Beyond that door lies a path to a completely different world. Don't be reckless. But don't stop walking..."

"Whatever." I said walking to the door.

"You have the words of power, use them well... For there is a evil, that has a hold on the darkness, and that can black out the light.

"I opened the door and was blinded by a light so bright I had to turn my head and shield my eyes.I was then sucked into the door. I heard a loud ringing in my ears, and felt such a violent headache that I blacked out.

"You also, have power of your own..."

I woke up in the middle of an alleyway. Getting up, I brushed myself off. Looking around, I walked towards the nearest opening. The sky was dark, and street lights lit the night. Looking up at the night sky, I froze at what I saw.

Half of this worlds moon has gone to shit. This world was already fucked. Why the hell would I be sent straight into the end game- Wait! This remind me of...

Looking around, I didn't see anyone on the streets.

Just to be sure, I'll go check out the area.

Another thing I noticed is that everything looked like I walked directly into a realistic game or something. like a top tear League of Legends trailer.

While walking I started doing a type of energy training. I knew of one way how to go about training and using my energy. In late 2012, I got into astral projection and lucid dreaming, and achieved both multiple times before. Using that mental imagery, I felt for my power. The sensation of key was unforgettable. It was like a sense of a soft warm pleasure that sat in the middle of your being.

There was something else. This warmth, that is my key, sat in the middle of what I could only describe as a hot lake, it flowed through my blood, and was felt from deep within my bones.

Focusing on the soft warmth that sat in the center, I pushed and pulled at it, spreading it from the center through out my entire body.

It felt like I was straining it, but I kept at this until I felt myself completely cloaked in my own key. But for some reason, it felt like it was mingled with the heat of the lake.

I must have lost track of my surroundings because I ended up bumping into someone, knocking them down on their back.

"Hey!" The large man got up who was at least 6 foot 5 or taller. He has on a pare of red shades, wearing a black suit and fedora, and a red tie. "Watch where the fuck you're going brat!"

He shoved me with little effect, only managing to really push himself back.

"The fuck bitch!?" I retaliated. Eyeing the man up and down, I knew exactly where I ended up.

So I didn't end up in the world my heart is truly connected to, huh?Two men dressed exactly the same moved to my right and left, with the first guy standing in front of me cracking his knuckles.

"Think you're a tough guy, huh!?"The other two chuckled.

"Enough." A man in a white coat, with orange hair, half of it covering the right side of his face said, giving me a once over. "Our goal is not this kid, but the store over there, so get a move on."

The three gave each other a look before moving pass me, followed by a group of men dressed the same way.

"Good help is hard to find these days." He said shaking his head. "You should run on home. I'm sure it's pass your curfew, you don't want to get in any trouble."

He tipped his hat and made his way to where all those other guys were heading.

That was Roman. But what was more curious is why were they calling me a kid? I know I look young, but I didn't look that young. I walked over to a near by window and looked at my reflection.

"Huh!?"

What I saw in the reflection, was a younger image of myself, another difference I noticed is that my eye color changed to red. And just by looking at myself I somehow knew that in this world I was 17 years old, a few years from my actual age back in my world. But man this is crazy!

I wonder if my age differs from world to world?

Although I was digging my new eye color. Would have preferred a magenta color to be honest.

Bling clatter clatter clatter!

The sound of shattering glass made me jump in surprise. I looked to see one of the men dressed in all black laying on the ground, not to far from a girl slowly starting to stand to her full height, the staff in her hand unfolding into a scythe. Her long red scarf bellowed in the wind. Smoothly turning her head, she gave a confident smile, before it turned into a determined look. Twirling her scythe in her hands, and spinning once, she brought down her scythe into the ground, impaling the asphalt in a combat ready stance.

Welcome to a world of bloody evoluuution! In- Click!

She turned off the music playing in her headphones.

Smirking to myself, I couldn't help but want to get involved.

"Hey! Mind if I help!?" I said running next to the girl I already knew as Ruby Rose.

Her silver eyes gave me a curious look before smiling and giving me a nod. "Yeah!"

On the other side, from in the store, Roman was giving us a unamused look. "Okaaay." He look to each side to his men. "Get them." He said gesturing with his head.

The group of men came running towards us. Ruby used her scythe as leverage, spinning her body over her scythe, she sent a mid air drop kick to one of the goons face, sending him flying back, while maneuvering herself to a different location.

One of the goons swung a red machete at my head. Seeing it coming, I ducked, and swiftly came back up with an upper cut, actually knocking the man up and off his feet into the air. While he was in the air, I saw Ruby strike some kind of scythe wielding pose before letting off a round, using the centrifugal force to spin and land a heavy blow to the nearest goon, sending him flipping back into the air. Still spinning she brought her scythe overhead and crashing down on another black suit wearing male.

Distracted by Ruby's movements, the man had already landed on the ground out cold.

I looked to Roman while gun fire was going off in the back ground. I quickly glanced and I saw Ruby being shot at with a machine gun while she propelled herself around the battle ground with shots of her own. I looked back to Roman making sure he didn't interfere, or make a move to get away, when suddenly the man was shooting at Ruby came crashing down at Roman's feet.

"You were worth every cent, truly you were." Roman spoke nonchalantly. "Well guy and little red. I think we can say it's been an eventful evening." He said dropping his cigar and crushing it with his cane, "and as much as I'd like to stick around." He lift his cane, pointing it at us. "I'm afraid this," a scope popped up from the bottom of his cane, "is where we part ways.

"He shot a huge projectile that looked and sounded like fire works. Ruby aimed her scythe downwards, letting around off sending herself up and over the blast.

I had fucking forgotten that it wasn't a normal round he shot off. To late to dodge, I brought my power to the forefront and hoped this worked. I lift my arms to up to block. The blast made contact with my body and there was a loud explosion all around me, and my world heated up, but... it was not to the point were I could say I was burning up, or even hot.

"Oh my god, no!" Ruby shouted.

"I'm fine!" I said not waiting for the dust to clear up, moving towards Ruby's voice.

She looked surprised, but quickly began to look around the area until she found what she was looking for.

"You okay if we go after him?" Ruby said to the old man coming to see the outcome of the battle.

"Uh-hmm." The old man nodded.

Ruby look to me, and I gave her a nod. We were both about to go after him when someone spoke.

"So that little girl is the target? Kehahahahaaa, this will be easy!"

We look to see two men, one short with brown messy shoulder length hair, and black slanted eyes. The other man was tall with a bald head. Both men had on the same black suit like the rest of the men laying around here had on. The most striking feature about the men, were their eyes. Well, to be exact. The lack of their eyes. Four black sockets of endless darkness had their site on us, more so on Ruby.

Ruby and I gave each other a look before returning our gaze to the men in the black suits.

Something was wrong. It's been awhile since I watched the show, but I know something like this never happened.

"Hey, go after that guy in the white suit, I'll handle this." I said speaking to Ruby without turning to look at her.

Out the corner of my eye, I saw her look to the goons, then to me, then to the direction where Roman went. She nodded and spoke.

"Be careful."

I only nodded.

My stomach tighten at the anticipation of what was to come.

"Hmm. We need to kill the girl with the silver eyes." The man said, his voice having an echo, that echo sounding much deeper and... Wrong.

He looked at me. "Hmm. I don't recall being told of someone else being here. Maybe it's because of the restart of things?"

"Yes, I believe so, kekekeke!"

His voice was different, but carried that same echo.

"Master did say that there will be changes to the patterns this world is supposed to follow." The messy haired one spoke."No matter. It is crucial that we kill the girl at this time. This boy is of no consequence.

"I was starting to suspect I was dealing with some kind of alternate universe, or time travel of some kind since I didn't end up in a current episode of RWBY, but the first. Not sure if I should think in the terms of episodes, now that I'm actually in the world of remnant.

"But a snack after so long wouldn't hurt, know would it, brother?"

"Fine. I will go after the girl. Be done quickly." The bald one said making his way after Ruby.

Shit! If I remember correctly, Glenda Goodwitch is suppose to save Ruby, and provide her aid, but. If things are off track, she might not show up. What if she's attacked before she shows up?

Fuck fuck fuck fuck! I don't know how strong one of these things is, and trying to take on two of them without knowing their strength and weaknesses might be the stupidest thing I'll ever do. Hell, I don't even know the real Ruby, she might not be like the one from the show...

Fuck it. I still can't let her go out like that.

Running towards the one that was about to make its way to Ruby. I dropped kicked the thing in the middle of it's back. The kick was unskilled, lacked any kind of form, but it was a direct hit with enough power behind it to send the possessed body face first to the ground with a hard thud.

Almost falling to the ground due to the awkward landing. Steadying myself I took up a defensive stance while shuffling backwards, gaining distance.

Note to self, never try to pull off a unpracticed move in a life or death battle.

"Kehahahahaaa! This one has spirit! I bet it tastes delicious!"

With a grunt, the one I dropped kicked got back up, blood running down the man's face from his forehead. "You will... Die slowly for that."

A unconfident smirk appeared on my face.

Well, at least I distracted him.

Wind started to pick up around us, but I noticed that the wind that was generating was coming from the one I dropped kicked.

Something was... off. I felt a bit scared. It was a unnatural kind of fear, like something was pressing on me. It was enough to make me want to run away, it left me feeling cold.

Streetlight started to flicker off and on, along with some near by shops.

What was going on? I haven't felt this kind of fear in a long time. I wanted to run away. The fact that I was feeling the urge to run away was pissing me off!

Black energies wrapped around the two. Four dark pits stared at me, one was filled with amusement, and the other was hateful.

Bringing all my power to the surface, a dark purple steam started emitting from my body.

"Ohhhhh!" The loud one noised. "This might be fun! Kehahahahaaa!"

Before I knew it, both possessed men rushed at me, covering a wide area in a short amount of time, placing me in their attack range. Before I could react, a pare of feet landed in my abdomen and chest knocking the breath out of me, sending me off my feet and hurling backwards.

I hit the ground hard, rolling a few times backwards before I stopped. Painfully sucking in oxygen, I looked around for the two possessed men and saw them with one leg up in a kicking stance, as if they just kicked something, and that something was me.With effort, I got up on my feet, wanting to do nothing more than to run away. Which bothered me to no end. Ignoring the fear, I got ready for the next attack. They rushed me again.

I hope this works.

"Cure." I whispered underneath my breath and felt something soft but... Nothing happened.

Shit.

I lifted up both my arm's in a block. Buckling, I was able to catch a kick that was aimed for my chest. Pain shot through my arm's, the force of the kick sending me sliding back.

If I can't use magic, I'll just use my key.

I ducked under a roundhouse kick that was aimed for my head. Shifting back to gain some distance, I stretched out both my arm's quickly, opening my palms, I let lose a torrent of key. Imagining the key to be as hot as fire, a wave of dark purple energies bursted out of my hands. The area around us was dyed in a dark purple light that bursted into existence from the palms of my hands. The two possessed men looked surprised, but not worried, until the wave of energy reached them, then their expression turned pained.

"Raaahhh!"

Both men shouted in pain and fury as they were blasted back. I felt my key reduce, as if it had shrunken in size. If I had to guess, I would say I used up about 10% of my maximum.

Breathing heavily, I let down my arms. Instead of following them to see if they were dead or not, I used this time to catch my breath. The blast took more out of my stamina than my key.

I noticed something peculiar. During the blast, I felt my key tighten, becoming hot, and for a moment, the pressure of fear was gone. But there was still that entanglement I felt in my key.

From out of the smoke, I saw two badly burned bodies. Exposed muscle, and chard skin. By the looks of them, they should have died from the burns alone.

"What the hell was that!? That wasn't normal aura! It actually manage to wound us far more than anything else before! Just who the hell is this brat!?" The one that seemed a bit more manic shouted.

"It won't fucking matter in a second!" The more serious balled one snarled.

"Kehahahahaaa I'll-make-sure-to-savor-the-taste-of-your sooooul!"

"You're gonna have to work for it!" I spat back.

Bang! bang! bang! bang! Boom! Bang!

Sounds of gun shots, explosions and a helicopter came from one of the rooftops above.

"Enough playing with this insect!" The serious one shouted, and his body started to shift and contort, until it no longer looked human. The serious one took on a dark red color, looking like a true devil, and the manic loud mouth took on a pale gray color, looking more like a ghoul.

"Kehahahahaaa!"

Black energies were flooding from out of them causing me to shiver.

I quickly replicated the sensation I felt during the blast. Tightening up the aura around myself, a wave of self-confidence washed over me. The fear was gone, and the steam flowing from my body ignited into a purple flame, but it felt like something was getting in the way, almost restraining it.

Faster than before, the two monster charged at me. But this time, I rushed to meet them. A clawed gray hand swiped at my head. Ducking under it, I found a red fist connecting with my lower jaw and chest.

Blacking out for a second, seeing the two monsters get further and further away, I came to a violent roll, and ended up on my back, facing the night sky only to see that gray monster had jumped, and now was coming down, fist already cocked back ready to land a decisive blow.

Rolling out of the way, I heard the monster punched the ground with a hard thump. The asphalt cracked and shattered beneath it's first, if that would have landed, I wouldn't have been able to get back up, or worse.

Quickly getting to my feet as fast as I could, only to be rammed by a thick and distorted shoulder. Stunned and choking for air, I was carried away into a wall.

"Gahaaaa!"

I was then painfully flung to the ground by a haymaker from the red monster, Landing face first to the ground.

I... I was being beaten to death.

Looking back painfully. The red monster had both arms held up high like a gorilla ready to pound it's adversary.

Channeling and tightening most of my key in my leg, I shot a back kick to it's lower stomach. The beast hunched over, it's eyes bulging, it reached for it's stomach in pain while falling to it's knees.

Quickly glancing, I saw that the gray one was far off but making it's way here quickly.

Fuck it!

Painfully turning around, putting all my power into the palms of my hands, I felt my arms shake with boiling power, aiming upward at the face of the monster, I pushed both arms forward, giving the red monster all I had in a wave of energy. The world around us was once again dyed in a dark purple light.

Inside the wave, I saw the skin burn away first, followed by muscle and bone, until finally, the head disintegrated.

Dropping my arms, I felt my key drop as well. I think I had about 15% or less left. But my body felt like a wet rag rung. I couldn't get to my feet, and the gray beast stood near by with murder written on its face. The amusement it once had was no longer anywhere to be found.

It took a furious step closer. "How!? How could a weak creature like a human kill a demon like us!?"

All of the sudden it's head tilted to the side followed by a loud bang. Looking towards where the sound originated. Ruby stood there, her scythe aimed at the gray monster.

It slowly turned it's head towards the scarlet girl.

She turned her aim behind her, letting off around, projecting herself towards the gray demon in a motion I couldn't follow. The demon motion to attack, but there were more sounds of gun fire, and Ruby form blurring around the area until she stood next to the demon.

Swinging her scythe, she cleaved through the side of the demon stomach, leg, and neck, stopping her onslaught of attacks in a scythe pose.

Her head then violently turned. A gray back fist connected to the side of her head, causing blood to gush out of her nose, right eye, and mouth, sending her tumbling to the ground.

The wounds that had been afflicted to the demon form were mending together instantly, except the burns from my earlier energy wave.

It turned to Ruby, then looked to me.

"Kehahahahaaa! What weak creatures humans are! But that's surprising! This little girl is obviously more skilled than you in skill and aura, but her attacks are that of a insect, as it should be. But you, your attacks are different. Are you really human?"

It started it's move towards me.

"Kehahahahaaa! It's best I kill you fir-"

"Suddenly, shrapnel of broken metals and rocks washed away the demon. The debris that carried it away spiraled upwards, looped in the sky, and came crashing down.

The sound of steady high heels could be heard making it's way towards us. Looking in the direction of the sound I saw Glynda Goodwitch looking down at me with a serious expression.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah."

"Ugh! My head," Ruby moaned in pain. "What was that thing? It was able to get past my aura." She said rubbing off some of the blood from her face.

She looked to Glenda who in return gave us both a dirty look. I looked away towards where the demon was carried away to. There was no movement. But... Something was off.

"The two of you are in serious trouble."

Ugh, you gotta be kidding me. I groaned inwardly.

Now in a dark room with one light above us, Glynda Goodwitch walked back and forth rebuking us. Both Ruby and I sported bandages on our bodies.

"I hope you realize that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly. The two of you put yourselves and others in great danger."

"They started it!" Ruby defended.

"If it was up to me, the two of you would be sent home... With a pat on the back." She stop pacing looking over us once, Ruby having a hopeful smile on her face. "And a slap on the wrist!" She smacked the table causing Ruby to flinch back.

"Eepp!"

"But there is someone here that would like to meet the two of you."

From out of the dark doorway walked out a man with gray silver hair holding a plate of cookies, and a mug of something.

"Ruby Rose," He said before looking at me. "And your name is?"

"Jay."

"Jay?" He repeated implying for more information.

"Jay Zamalliya."

Not my real last name, but this should do. I had wanted to change my last name back on earth. Actually, that word seem to come out of nowhere, for some reason, it felt right.

He walked up to the table, leaning in taking a good look at Ruby.

"You... Have silver eyes."

"Uh, umm?" Ruby Said looking a bit uncomfortable.

"So! Where did you learn to do this?" He asked while Glenda Goodwitch held a device showing Ruby pretty much dominating the battle field.

"Signal academy." She said nervously.

"They taught you to use the most dangerous weapon ever designed?"

"Well one teacher in particular." She responded.

"I see." He only glanced my way.

He placed the plate of cookies on the table. Ruby hesitantly took one and quickly inhaled it, and repeated that same action until there was no hesitation in her movement. Slapping cookie after cookie into her mouth, until she glanced at me.

"Whant sum?"

Smiling, I shook my head. She continued cramming her face.

"It's just that I've only seen one other scythe wielder of that skill before. A dusty old crow." The silver haired man interjected.

"Oummm! Thut ma uncle croo." She swallowed. "Ahem! Uh, sorry." She said looking a bit embarrassed, wiping away any crumbs with her sleeves. "That's my uncle Qrow! He's a teacher at signal. I was complete garbage before he took me under his wing. And now I'm all like, ohooooo-wooooo-cha!" She said moving her arms around in a mock Kung Fu gesture.

"So I've noticed." He said laying down in mug of, what I now know to be coffee. "And what is a adorable girl, such as yourself, doing in at a school design to train warriors?"

"Well, I want to be a huntress." She confessed.

"You want to slay monsters?"

"Yeah. I only have two more years of training left at signal, and then I'm going to apply to beacon. See, my sister starting there this year, and she's trying to become a huntress, and I'm trying to become a huntress, cause I wanna help people. And my parents always taught us to help others, so I thought, I might as well make a career out of it, hehehe. I mean, the police are alright. But hunters and huntresses are just so much more romantic and exciting and cool Jua sooo ahhh! Ya know!?" She said awkwardly moving around and looking like a dork.

Glynda was giving her a questionable flat look. I was thinking about maybe getting one of those cookies before Ruby remembered that they are still there. Shouldn't have declined her offer.

"Do you know who I am?" The silver haired asked.

"You're professor Ozpin. You're the head master at beacon."

"Hello." He greeted.

"Nice to meet you." She replied.

"You want to come to my school?" He asked.

"More than anything." Ruby said in a longing manner.

Good. Things seems to be right on track. Haha, is the time line saved?"

What about you, young man?"

Aw shit! That's right, I'm here!

"Uh, No thanks.

"Ozpin then looked to Goodwitch.

"Hmm." Glynda responded by rolling her eyes.

"Well, okay. Ms Goodwitch, please take care of Ms Rose. I would like to talk to Mr Zamalliya alone."

Glynda Goodwitch gave me a unreadable look before nodding and leaving with Ruby. As she left, Ruby gave me a long side look before Glynda Goodwitch closed the door behind them. After the door shut, he took a sip of is coffee before speaking.

"Do you know what you've done?"

Huh? What the hell is this guy talking about?

"What do you mean?"

He slid the tablet like thing over the table. On the screen were five men, two of them were familiar. The tall bald guy, and the short brown haired one.

"In a short amount of time, these men became the most wanted criminals in all the kingdoms. They've killed countless of people, even veteran hunters. No matter what we throw at them, they could recover from any damage they sustained. Well, that is, until tonight." He took another sip of his coffee.

"You managed to take down one of them, and injur the other. You, young man, have a gift."

I raised a brow at this. I also took note that the other one got away.

"The power you displayed during your fight was impressive. Although your combat skills need much improvement. Power like yours can be refined at beacon. I would hate to see such talent go to waste, not only that, I'm sure they'll be looking for revenge. Beacon academy can be a safe haven for you for the time being."

"I'm not interested in being a hunter, or going to school. But... I do need to become a better warrior."

He took a sip of his coffee while not breaking eye contact with me, making this very awkward.

"And why is that?"

Silence fell over the room while I thought about what I should tell him, how I should go about everything from now on. If I make beacon my bass of operation, I would gain a strong defence against whoever is after me, until I was strong enough to stand on my own. If I play my cards right...

Letting out a sigh I began. "I'm at war. Some people are after me due to my... Special ability. So I need to become stronger and take them out before they can do me in first."

"These people wouldn't be the men on the screen, now would it?"

"I don't think so. Those things were after Ruby for some reason."

His expression didn't change, but I could tell a shadow fell over him. "Do you know why they were after Ms Rose?"

"Yeah. They said they wanted to kill her. Not sure why, oh, and they called themselves demons."

This made his eyebrows shoot up. His eyes started to wonder, looking to be lost in thought. This gave me time to think myself.

"This ability of yours. What are you willing to tell me about it?"

Yes! This is on the line of questions I was hoping he would ask!

Holding back a smile I told him, "to put it simply, without saying too much. It's the power to destroy the darkness."

The bait was cast, now all he needed to do was bite. I already knew about Salem, and that he would almost stop at nothing to have a upper hand against her. Using this knowledge to my advantage, I could use beacon academy as my starting point in becoming stronger. Not only that, I'll be near the main cast. I'll need to keep an eye on them for better or worse. Worse being that I would need to take them out if they get in my way.

Without his expression breaking this time, he just looked into my eyes as if he was going through pages of my soul. A smirk appeared on his face.

"If you enroll into my school, I can provide you with the necessary training you are looking for. Possibly, be of aid in this war of yours."

I shook my head, "I'm willing to come with you, but I don't want to become a student. I have other things that needs tending to that I'm not willing to talk about just yet. Look, from what you said earlier, you're after these demons. I'll work with you on that, just allow me to stay at the academy, and learn as much as I can about fighting."

He took another sip, letting a smile cres his face, "You're not that good at this, are you?"

I felt myself frown unconsciously, "Do you accept, or not?"

He chuckled. "I accept. If you are willing to work with a few other students from time to time."

"Sure." I said rolling my eyes.

"Then I look forward to working with you."

"Same. Now let's talk about pay."

He raised a eyebrow at that.

Ozpin: Airship

Sitting at his desk, professor Ozpin looked up when Glynda Goodwitch walked into his office.

"So how is he doing?" Ozpin asked.

"In the medical bay healing, and quickly. His aura is strange...and extremely dense. I don't think I've ever examine an aura like his before. While inactive, his aura is still shielding him. He will still need a few days of rest." She paused, looking directly into Ozpin eyes.

"From the sample's I've collected came back. There is nothing that matches up with his blood samples."

Ozpin lifted an eyebrow, giving her questionable look.

"His samples... It doesn't match anything in our database. I'm still running tests, just to be sure.

"Not removing his gaze from her, she was that his mind was running a mile a minute.

"You think he will be of help against Salem, don't you?" She asked.

"Those demons put fear into the grim, and picked apart our top hunters. Of course I think he will be of help against Salem."

"Do you trust him?"

Ozpin shook his head, "No. Mind you, I don't think he's a spy. But his eyes reminds me of Qrow and Raven when they were younger, more so the latter. It's obvious that he's hiding something and plans on using us until he's gotten what he wanted. But exchange for that, he's willing to work for me. He latched on the that fact that no one has defeated these demons, and used that to bargain."

"Are you saying that he's a sharp one?"

"Hahaha, I would say he will need to be much sharper than he is now. He made his wants and intents too obvious, and demonstrated that he has a lack of patience to achieve his goal. I believe, with time, and the right guidance, he can become someone the people of remnant can rely on."

There was something unsaid that Glynda took note of, but decided not to inquire about it.

Beacon Academy

On the way to Beacon academy, I went over a lot of paper work when I woke up. Ozpin was actually pretty busy. I didn't see him until we got off the air ship, and when I did, it was only for a pretty brief walk. I was lead by Glynda Goodwitch through the school and introduced to the teachers. I would be working as the teachers assistant, and the person I would be training under would arrive later on today. Shown to my room I laid on my bed.

The room was pretty nice. It has it's own full bathroom and kitchen. Once you entered into the room the kitchen would be on the left, and living room would be the first thing you would see. To the right down a small hallway is the bathroom, and at the end of the hallway sat my room.

I let out a sigh of relief. Looking over my body, I was surprised about how fast I was healing. Although, I still had plenty of bruises and scrapes all over myself and walked with a limp, but I wasn't in the emergency room like I should have been if I was back on my home world.

I flex my key, feeling it wash over me. It felt good. What's more, the lake seem to have gotten much bigger.

This was worth it. Abandoning everything I once knew meant little compared to having real power. I would need to quickly master my key if I not only want to survive, but climb to the top.

"Will you continue your fall into darkness..."

The words of that soundless voice played once more in my head. I thought about the only time, I felt like I could be more, living a life in the so called light, when I was with her.

I could feel the bittersweet emotions dance in my chest. After she left, I slowly started to return to my old ways, but not as much. I knew then, that I am the kind of person that needs someone else to make me whole. To soften me, so to speak. Without someone like that, I would only focus on myself, and end up sacrificing anything, and everything in my way to get what I wanted.

Could I find that light here, in this world? Would I even want too now that I have real power, and could achieve a utopia for myself?

My thoughts turned to the world I would now reside in for the time being.

Ugh, I told myself I should catch up on the show, and now that I'm actually living in it, makes it all the more infuriating that I didn't.

Shaking my head, I focused on what I thought to be the most important. Power. During the battle, I couldn't use a spell, but I was able to use raw energy attacks. When I used those raw energy attacks I felt my key tighten up, and when I tighten up my key, my power fluctuated.

Holding an arm up, I tighten my key once more, and spoke a word of power. "Cure."

My key tighten more than ever before to the point it was almost painful. I didn't feel any better, but there was something. When my key constricted, I felt something soft and warm beneath the layers of key I was using. While other parts of my key didn't react at all.

Focusing on those sensation, I chanted the spell again. "Cure."

My key painfully constricted, again, and still I didn't feel any better, but this time there was more to be gleamed from the failed experiment. The soft and warm sensation I felt seemed like they were trying to gather at the center of my chest. Also, I felt like I wasn't using the right word, and that the key I used for the energy attack were different.

Before trying again, I thought about what I was feeling in steps. I lifted my right arm up again. Concentrating my key at the center of my chest, I gathered, and focusing on the soft energy at the center of my being, while imagining it feeling like a warm spring day. I decided that this time I would speak from the soul.

"Curaga," I whispered into the world. The soft energy I built up in the center of my chest depleted, and a warm, almost sensual sensation covered my entire frame. All the pain and irritation quickly faded until I couldn't feel any discomfort.

I opened my eyes and got up off the bed and checked over my body. There were no trace of wounds anywhere to be found. I felt as good as new. The only thing that bothered me was that it used up a lot of my key, more so than just using raw energy attacks. From what I could tell, I probably could use a spell at least 3 times before I would run out of key.

Knock knock knock knock!

"Give me uh minute!" I said getting up and making my way to the door. As soon as I opened the door I was assaulted by the smell of alcohol.

The man standing at the door was knocking back whatever was in his flask. He burped and wiped his mouth with his arm.

"The name's Qrow, and I'll be the one in charge of your training."

A/N:Sup y'all! I didn't intend on this chapter to be this long. I want my chapters to be short like the actual episodes, but this chapter did what it wanted to do. Also I've been busy with real life things, but I'm sure you guys know how that goes. Anyway, this is actually the first chapter, so not to much happened. Tell me what you thought about the chapter, and what I can do better going forward. Also, I hate uploading on this app. I don't have a computer or laptop, so I gotta space everything once I copy everything I've written in my document on to this app.

I could have uploaded sooner, but that took me some time to do.

I see that I got a few followers and favs. I hope you all continue to join me on this adventure! And your welcome to get off at anytime LOL.

Oh, and just in case you were wondering what inspired me to do this story is a saying and quote from the Master of masters, and from Harry Potter: "Of course it is happening inside your head Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?"

"Don't assume your dreams are just fantasy. If you can imagine a world, believe in it, and dive in.

"Well, until next time.
