This Is Our Year: College I-I
Chapter 7: Pleas Don't Stop the Rain
Disclaimer: All the Kim Possible Characters belong to Disney. The original characters are of my own creation.
At 3:00 pm, at the Stoppable townhouse, Anna (with Hana on her lap) and Ellie were sitting on the couch in the living room facing the TV and watching the last few minutes of the movie, "Singin' In the Rain". Ike was sitting to the right of the couch and watching the movie as well.
Soon, the movie ended and the credits started rolling.
"That was a great movie," Ellie commented in amazement. "It makes me wanna go put on my tap shoes, go out in the rain, and tap away."
"If you do that you'll catch a cold," Anna warned.
"I know," Ellie said. She then asked. "Say, Anna, how many movies with tap dancing in it have you seen?"
"I've seen a lot of them," Anna replied. "To name a few, aside from, Singin' In The Rain I've seen 42nd Street; Anything Goes; and Chicago."
Just then, Sabre walked into the living room.
"Hey, Anna?" He spoke.
Anna, Hana, Ellie, and Ike looked up at the GJ agent.
"Yes, Sabre?" Anna answered.
"I wanted to let you know that Kim and Ron will be home soon," Sabre announced. "And I've got a meeting at GJ HQ I must attend."
Anna nodded, "Okay, Sabre."
Sabre waved, "Bye, kids."
Anna, Hana, and Ellie waved back and all said, "Bye."
Soon, Sabre walked out the front door.
But soon after, the front door opened again, revealing Kim and Ron with grim looks on their faces.
Anna (with Hana in her arms), Ellie, and Ike stood up and turned to the two heroes.
"Hey, Mr. and Mrs. Stoppable," Ellie waved.
"Hey," Kim and Ron waved back in unison as they entered the townhouse.
"I take it the mission didn't go so well?" Anna asked.
"We've captured Killigan, but failed to reclaim what was stolen from the lab in Kazakhstan," Kim replied.
"I'm so sorry things went south, Mr. And Mrs. Stoppable," Ellie spoke up with sympathy.
"You may call us by our first names," Kim said in a neutral tone.
"Let's sit down and we'll talk about the mission," Anna suggested.
Valerie Piper was sitting in the living room of her house. Ever since she was expelled from Hudson River University and after her boyfriend, Alex Walker, was arrested her life has been downhill. Because of her actions toward the Stoppables and their friends at HRU, no college was willing to accept her. Worse, her boyfriend was not present to comfort her in her time of need. She was also grounded for her actions too.
Just then, the phone on the coffee table in front of her rang.
"Hello?" Valerie answered it.
"Valerie?" Came a female voice on the other end.
"Who is this?" Valerie asked.
"It's me, your former next-door neighbor, Bonnie Rockwaller," Bonnie replied. "Are you alone?"
Valerie went wide-eyed, "Bonnie? You're alive? But how?"
"There's no time to explain," Bonnie warned. "Are you alone?"
Valerie nodded, "Yes."
"Good," Bonnie said. "I need you to do something for me. In return, I'll ensure that K, Stoppable, and Tin Feet get what they deserve."
"Kim, Ron, and that little tap-dancing daughter of theirs?" Valerie asked.
"Yes," Bonnie replied. "Do you know anyone at HRU that dislike K and her posse?"
Valerie nodded, "Yes, but I won't be able to contact them for another week because I've been grounded for my actions at HRU. Why do you ask?"
"I'm working on a plan to keep K and her posse bogged down and I need your help," Bonnie instructed. "You are to contact your friends at HRU and have them keep K's posse bogged down by any means long enough for me to work on my plan for world conquest."
"What about Kim, Ron, and Anna?" Valerie asked.
"Don't worry about them," Bonnie replied. "They're gonna be bogged down at the trials of your boyfriend, his father, the Arnolds, and the former Doctor Short this month. That's if, Hench's contacts in U.S. prisons succeed in getting criminals going on trial this month to make plea agreements. Doing so will result in the trials of the Walkers, the Arnolds, and the former Doctor Short being moved to this month. The Stoppables must attend those if they are to put those people away."
"What about K's brothers?" Valerie asked.
"I've got something to keep them bogged down," Bonnie replied. "Will you help?"
Valerie nodded, "As soon as my grounding expires in a week, I will."
"I'll call you again in a week at noon."
"Okay."
Later, Kim and Ron just finished telling Anna, Hana, Ellie, and Ike about the mission.
"So, some mysterious villain bought the plans to something that could make the perfect air and missile defense grid for a lair?" Anna asked.
"Pretty much," Kim replied. "Whoever this villain is, she must be up to no good."
Beep Beep Beep Beep
"Sitch, Wade?" Kim answered her Kimmunicator.
"Kim, you're not gonna believe this," Wade announced.
"What?" Kim asked, worriedly.
"You remember those trials you and Ron must attend next month?" Wade asked. Kim nodded. "Well, they're gonna be happening much sooner than you think."
"What?!" Kim gasped.
"Just got word that all criminals going on trial this month have made plea agreements," Wade said. "As a result of that, the trials of the Walkers, the Arnolds, and the former Doctor Short have been rescheduled for this month."
"Now why would a bunch of criminals awaiting trial make plea agreements?" Ron spoke up.
Wade shook his head, "I don't know."
"When is the first trial?" Kim asked.
"It will be tonight at seven and you'll be going against the former Doctor Short," Wade replied. "The trials after will be of the Walkers and then the Arnolds. Also, I must warn you that the judges of the trials and the lawyers of the defendants aren't your biggest fans."
Kim took a deep breath to try and stay calm, "Tell Drew and Sheila that we have to cancel dinner tonight."
Wade nodded, "I will. Wade out."
Meanwhile, Bonnie was sitting in her throne room.
Just then, Jack Hench walked in.
Bonnie noticed him, "Status?"
Hench smirked, "It worked. All criminals going on trial this month have made plea agreements. The trials of the Walkers, the Arnolds, and the former Doctor Short have been moved to this month with Short's trial being the first and tonight. I also ensured that the lawyers of those people and the judges of the trials were people who dislike the Stoppables."
Bonnie clapped her hands together, "Perfect!"
"Now, all we have to worry about are the rest of Team Possible," Hench Continued. "Has Miss Piper organized her party?"
Bonnie frowned and sighed, "She's grounded and won't be able to help for at least a week. Hopefully, the trials will be ongoing long enough for Valerie to organize her party and distract K's posse. My plan in distracting K's brothers is already in the works. If all goes smoothly, there will be no one to stop me from initiating, Operation: Queen Bee."
"Operation: Queen Bee?"
"That's the name of my plan for world conquest."
To Be Continued…
A/N: Seems the trials will be happing sooner than expected and may be more difficult for the Stoppables.
How will things turn out?
You'll find out.
What is Bonnie doing to distract the Tweebs?
You'll find that out too.
