Tails looked at the city underneath him.
Tails said:" It looks very similar to the town where i came from. Maybe somebody here noticed him. Let's find out." He put the plane into autopilot and jumped from the seat. He started to fly with his twin tails and landed safely on the ground. Tails then walked towards the old dark orange maned wolf. Tails said:" Excuse me! Have you seen blue hedgehog around here?" Maned wolf looked at him and gasped. Then she took from Tails' hand and took him inside.
Mane fox had dark green eyes, black arms, white gloves, purple dress to the ground and black tip of her tail.
She said:" Sorry, kid. But you can't be on the street. King forbitted any travelers." Tails said:" I didn't know it. But i'm here for my older brother. He was being chased by someone and i lost commication with him." Maned wolf said:" Sorry to hear that. I haven't seen other foxes around here. But i saw blue hedgehog with knighters." Tails gasped and shouted:" That's him! Is he alright?" Then the maned wolf grabbed Tails' shoulders and pushed him on the ground.
There were four knighters right outside. One of them said:" I can't believe that hedgehog escaped. Normally somebody could have died from that injury." Second knighter said:" Maybe he didn't escape. Maybe he just rotted away." Slenderest of them asked:" Did you felt that smell? The chains were broken. How do you explain that?" Biggest knighter from them said:" Shield's right. He was being rescued." Second knighter said:" She's always right, Armor." First knighter said:" I start to think that you like her." Armor said:" Oh, brother. We are just knighters, Sword and Axe! I don't have any feeling for Shield."
They then dissappeared. Maned wolf let go of Tails. Tails said:" Sonic's alright. I hope." The rose up after looking carefully out of the window. Maned wolf said:" Oh, dear! I haven't introduced myself to you! I'm Laura." Tails grabbed her hand and said:" Miles Prower. But, please, call me Tails." Laura said:" You know, kid, i have lived on this island for all my life. I can help you with the search."
Then Knuckles called. He said to Tails:" I have seen the symbol on the arrow before. It was in my dream once. I didn't think that it was important. But now i think so. I need to warn you about something, Tails. I have seen in the dream about black hedgehog with no irises. Purple aura is around him. And he moves faster than Super Sonic." Tails asked:" Why are you saying that?" Laura asked:" Black hedgehog with purple aura? It sounds like our legends. I know where it was found." Tails said:" Let's meet up. Be careful, Knuckles and Amy! King doesn't take the visitors well."
On the way to now landed Tornado 2 Laura asked:" Who is your 'brother'?" Tails answered:" Only the coolest heroes in Mobius! He has stopped Dr. Eggman so many times. Saved the whole planet, more than twice. And he took me under his wing. I have always been bullied because of my two tails. But after i saw him i just knew i needed to be with him. I became stronger, faster and braver than before i met him. Sonic has given so many things to me than i could count." Laura asked:" How did you met him?" Tails sighed and said:" I just finished my newest invension."
Tails was exided to show others what he just finished. Maybe it was just a thing what he needed to stop them bullying him, he thought. But he was wrong. Bullies grabbed the invention and broke it by throwing that on the ground and the they took hammers and smashed it. Tails tried to stop them but one of them pushed him to the ground and said:" Just deal with it, Tails. You're freak and nobody will ever like you." Tails the rose up and ran away, doing his best to not cry.
When he was far away from them then he finally let the tears fall. Suddenly he felt sudden breeze and saw blue hedgehog front of the bushes where young fox were. Blue hedgehog moved his hears, trying to pick up some kind of noice. Then Tails saw him run again. He was faster than any other mobian he ever saw! Tails then flied after the hedgehog. Maybe he is the friend he was looking for.
But then Tails lost the sight of him. He stopped flying and landed on the capule. He didn't noticed that on the air. He jumped off of it and noticed birds and little animals inside of it. He knew he needed to help them so he hacked inside of the captules and freed them.
At the same time the blue hedgehog ran back. The was covered in dust now. He was suprised to see two tailed fox freeing the animals. "Hey!" he said to get Tails' attention. Tails looked at him and he looked like he was about to run. Blue hedgehog said:" Great job at freeing the animals. I'm Sonic." Tails said:" I'm...Miles Prower. But everybody calls me Tails." Sonic walked closer to Tails and said:" You did great. I needed help anyway." Tails hid his tails and said:" Thanks. I am inventor." Sonic asked:" But can you fix the plane? I kinda...crashed it." Tails said:" Of course."
Sonic and Tails reached to the fallen air plane. It was red with white lines on it's sides, two sets of wings and one seat in the middle. Tails walked closer to it and said:" Piece of cake!" Sonic said:" That's the spirit! But please don't act like i have not seen your twin tails." Tails gasped and backed off from him. Sonic noticed that it distressed him and said:" Sorry for mentioning that. But i really think that it's cool. Honest." Tails asked:" You really think that i'm not a freak?" Sonic shook his head and said:" Not at all. And who says that you are then their brain needs to be checked out." Tails released his tails and said:" Thanks Sonic. I really needed that." Sonic said:" Everytime, buddy."
Tails flied the Tornado 2 to the cave, where Laura was led him.
Knuckles and Amy ran after the plane. Amy called Tails and asked:" When we get there?" Tails said:" Soon. I see something." Knuckles said to Amy:" Don't even think that i'll carry you, like Sonic." Amy said:" Only Sonic has right to carry me." Knuckles sighed and said:" If you say so. But he's not here isn't he?"
Then Sonic walked out of the bush. He was full of broken sticks and scratches from those. He said angrily:" Those bushes! Why i even thought that this is good idea?" He was so busy taking sticks out of his quills that he didn't see that he walked into Knuckles, who still ran. They both fell on the ground.
Amy shouted:" Sonic!" And she jumped on blue hedgehog, without realizing that she hit injured place on Sonic's chest. Sonic pushed Amy off of him quickly. Amy was suprised at Sonic's action. Knuckles rose up and said to Sonic:" Great to see you alright." Sonic, who held on his chest tensly, simply said:" Yeah." Amy asked:" Are you alright?" Sonic took a deep breath and rose up. "I'm okay," Sonic said. Knuckles then noticed the bandage on his chest. He asked:" What happened?" Sonic said:" Ran into the spear. I'm fine, if i'm not putting any pressure on my chest. And that means, Amy, no hugs for some time. Alright?" Amy nodded with sad expression.
When they reached to the cave then Tails ran towards Sonic and gave him the fist bump. Sonic said:" Great to see you alright, buddy." Tails looked at the bandage around Sonic and said without thinking:" Same." Laura gasped and pointed towards the blue hedgehog. Sonic was confusied and asked Tails:" Is she alright?" Tails shrugged and said:" This is Laura. She kept me away from knighters." Sonic walked closer to the maned wolf and said:" Thank you for helping my friend, madam." Laura nodded and shook Sonic's hand.
Knuckles walked closer to the wall. Knuckles gasped and backed up. Sonic asked:" What's wrong?" He looked at the same wall and almost screamed.
On the wall was...him. Corrupted version of him. The painting had purple aura around it and the worst of all, beside missing pupils, the hands had red over them.
Sonic stared at the painting and asked shakily:" What's that? Why is there a painting of me...like this? Does that mean that i could...destroy the world?" Tails scanned it and said:" I don't don't know. But here are chaos emeralds around the hedgehog on the painting." Sonic said:" It is Super Sonic. But reverse." Knuckles said:" It could happen if the chaos emeralds' protector is filled with negative emotions." Sonic asked:" Chaos emerald protector?" Knuckles nodded and said:" I could have told you about it before. But i didn't know how you could react. Chaos emeralds choosed you, Sonic." Sonic then ran away from the cave. Amy shouted his name and wanted to run after him but Knuckles stopped her. He said:" Let him cool off." Amy sighed and nodded. Tails said:" I have seen him in that 'evil' state before. It was in my first battle against Dr. Eggman. I got injured and he became so... angry. Everything went so fast but the robot what injured me was in pieces in seconds. Then he calmed down." Knuckles asked:" How?" Tails shrugged and said:" He looked at me and then he returned normal." Knuckles said:" Maybe that painting freaked him out more than he showed. He is familiar with his dark side and he's afraid of it."
Sonic was running towards Secret Village and thought to himself:" Yeah. There is a painting of my evil side. I have chaos emeralds' energy inside of me. I lost my way to Secret Village. At least Tails is alright." Then he stumbled upon something and flied face first into the ground. He turned on his back and noticed slender knighter coming out of her hiding place. Sonic asked:" Female knighter? It's something new." The knighter said:" I'm little offended. You are saying that women can't be knighters?" Sonic said:" You are like robots! You don't need genders." The knighter said:" Maybe. But you don't get it. Yeah, you are new to all of this. I'm Shield. Your worst nightmare. But only if you misobey." Sonic rose up slowly and asked:" What's fun in that? I rather fight than surrender to the likes of you. And i gotta say, that castle sucked. I knew i needed to get away or i'll die in boredom." Shield said:" Oh boy! I really have action seeker on my hands." She took out her sword moved herself to the battle pose.
Sonic did the same.
