It was 8:45 pm at the Stoppable townhouse as the door to Anna's bathroom opened and out came Anna wearing her pajamas, red jersey, and gold locket.
She then noticed Ellie, who was also wearing her pajamas, sitting on her air mattress with a frown on her face and looking down at a cellphone.
Anna walked over and sat down to Ellie's left.
"Ellie?" Anna asked.
"Yes?" Ellie answered.
"You have a cellphone now?"
"My Mom gave it to me before she left for her trip."
"Why the long face?" Anna asked.
"I texted Mom and she hasn't responded," Ellie replied. "I don't know why."
"She probably is either busy or too tired to answer," Anna speculated. "Being a lawyer can be exhausting."
"I guess that could be it," Ellie said.
"Let's get some sleep," Anna suggested. "Tomorrow is your first day of school and don't wanna be late."
Ellie nodded, "Gotcha."
Suddenly, something Ellie said earlier popped into Anna's head.
"Say, Ellie, remember when you said earlier that all members of your family, excluding your mother are long gone?" Anna asked.
"Yeah?" Ellie answered.
"What about your grandfather, Mr. Neumann?" Anna asked. "I had him for a school teacher and saved his life."
"He passed away in the hospital yesterday," Ellie replied to Anna's question. "I heard you saved him the other day."
"I'm sorry for your loss," Anna said with sympathy.
Beep Beep Beep Beep
"Sitch, Wade?" Anna answered her Annamunicator.
"Anna, we've got bad news," Wade announced. "The GJ aircraft carrying the rest of Team Possible has gone down over Greenland."
"Down?" Anna gasped. "How?"
"A mysterious missile," Wade said. "GJ is sending a rescue team to recover them."
Suddenly, an alarm went off on Wade's computer.
"What's going on now?" Anna asked.
"Anna, we've got a hot tip on Dementor's whereabouts," Wade replied. "He's at a new lair on top of a mountain in the Bavarian Alps."
"Finally, we will be able to find out why he's been attacking factories," Anna said, enthusiastically. Her face then turned serious. "I'm on my way and I'm bringing my battle suit and Ike with me as well."
After the screen went black, Anna turned to Ellie, "I gotta go; I'll be back."
"I wanna come with you," Ellie said.
Anna shook her head, "Ellie, I can't bring you along. If I bring you along and you get hurt, it will be my fault. Please."
Ellie sighed, "Alright, I won't go. But can I go inform Glenn and Jenn of the mission while you change into your mission gear?"
"Of course," Anna said with a nod.
Meanwhile in Greenland, Team Possible started regaining consciousness.
"Woah..." Ron groaned. "What happened?"
"We've been shot down by a missile," Kim groaned as she sat up.
"It seems that this mystery villain has some kind of air defense system," Hope speculated.
Kim got onto her Kimmunicator, "Wade?"
"Kim, are you okay?" Wade asked with concern.
"Aside from being shot down, we're alright," Kim assured.
"The good news is that help is on the way," Wade announced.
"Then I presume there is bad news?" Ron spoke up.
"The bad news is that there is nothing left of the lair of this mysterious villain," Wade said, confirming Ron's presumption. "It's as if the lair had a self-destruct. And there's more."
"More?" Kim asked.
"We got a hot tip on Dementor's whereabouts," Wade replied. "He's in the Bavarian Alps, only in a different location there this time."
"Wade, as soon as help gets here, fly us to the Bavarian Alps," Kim said.
"Will do," Wade said with a nod. "I'll inform Anna help will be on the way."
"What do you mean?" Kim asked, confused.
"Anna and Ike are en-route to Bavaria as we speak," Wade replied.
"Is Anna crazy?" Kim asked in disbelief. "She and Ike won't stand a chance against Dementor's goon squad."
"Anna's also wearing her battle suit," Wade pointed out.
"Well, in any case, we gotta get to Bavaria and help her," Kim said in a worried tone.
Elsewhere, on the top of a mountain in the Bavarian Alps, laid a house that's of typical Bavarian architecture. Inside, Professor Dementor was watching TV.
"Ugh, vhy does ze good guy alvays vin?" Dementor groaned.
Suddenly, the door burst open.
Dementor jumped off of his couch, turned and noticed Anna, wearing her battle suit, and with a German Shepherd by her side.
"Anna Stoppable?" Dementor gasped. "How did you get past my henchmen? What are you doing here? And can't you see I'm enjoying some me time here at my mountain retreat?"
"Your henchmen immediately surrendered at the sight of my battle suit," Anna answered. "As to why I'm here, I'm here to say that you're done with destroying factory equipment!"
Ike then added to Anna's words with a bark and a growl.
"Vhat are you talking about?" Dementor demanded.
"Ninjas attacked various factories and destroyed essential components for production of various things, including Britina dolls," Anna pointed out.
"And vhat makes you zink I did it?"
"Investigators found pieces of sour kraut and strudel with your finger prints all over them at the crime scenes."
Dementor sighed shook his head, "Anna Stoppable, you must be mistaken; I didn't do all zat stuff."
Anna crossed her arms, "Prove it."
Dementor cleared his throat, "Vhen I have my henchmen do my dirty vork, I vould alvays go vith zem to ensure zey get ze job done. Besides, I have never hired any ninjas before. And even if I did, I'd still go with them."
Anna then went into thought, "I wonder…"
She then activated her Annamunicator, "Wade?"
"Yes, Anna?" Wade answered.
"Did those attacks on the factories occur simultaneously?"
"Yeah, why?"
Before Anna could speak…
"Anna?" Came the voice of Kim Stoppable.
Anna turned around to see Kim and Ron.
"Mom, Dad, are you two, okay?" Anna asked. "Where are the others?"
"We're alright, Anna," Kim replied. "And the others are outside surrounding Dementor's goon squad that had their hands up once we got here. Did you capture Dementor already?"
Anna nodded, "I did, and you're not going to believe this."
"What?"
"Dementor wasn't the one who attacked the factories."
"AC, helmet-dude didn't poison your mind, did he?" Ron asked with concern.
Anna sighed, "No, Dad."
"What makes you think it wasn't Dementor?" Kim asked in a stern tone.
"Dementor told me that he would always accompany his henchmen on robberies," Anna replied. "I asked Wade if the attacks on the factories occurred simultaneously and said they did. There's no way Dementor could be in three places at once. He also mentioned that he has never hired any ninjas before and even if he did, he'd go with them."
Just then, Tara and Hope ran in with the former holding a piece of paper.
The Stoppables, Ike, and Dementor noticed them.
"What's the sitch?" Kim asked.
"One of Dementor's goons, who we found in a com room, was carrying a message for Dementor from Jack Hench," Tara answered.
"What does it say?" Kim asked.
Tara then read the message, "It says: 'To all villains, your help is needed to keep Team Possible distracted so a new client of mine can take over the world. In return, my client will give each of you a slice of the world. Jack Hench.'"
Kim gasped, "That's the same message GJ intercepted."
Anna soon developed a confused look, which didn't go unnoticed.
"What's wrong, AC?" Ron asked.
"I don't know, but something tells me that it was this mysterious villain that was behind not only the message GJ intercepted, but also the attacks on the factories too," Anna replied. "And the sour kraut and strudel with Dementor's finger prints on them was meant to trick us into thinking it was said villain behind the attacks on the factories."
"But, how did this mysterious villain get Dementor's finger prints?" Kim asked.
"I might be able to answer that," Wade announced. The Team Possible members present looked down at Wade on the Annamunicator. "According to this message I just received from the Middleton Prison, the Warden discovered that the man in charge of getting the inmates' fingerprints there was secretly working for Jack Hench. After the man was caught, he confessed to helping Hench get Dementor's fingerprints."
"Did the man mention what Hench wanted with Dementor's fingerprints?" Kim asked.
Wade shook his head, "Unfortunately, the man doesn't know why. However, he said that if he didn't know better, he'd believe that Hench was trying to help someone frame Dementor."
"If that's true," Tara spoke up. "Then who is this, someone?"
"This may take a long time to figure out," Hope added.
Anna then sighed, "It may take even longer if all the villains that receive the message make their own plots and put them to action."
"Don't worry," Wade spoke, getting everyone's attention. "GJ has made it so the villains won't heed the message."
Meanwhile, Bonnie and Jack Hench arrived at Hench Co, and entered Hench's office.
"Well, this is a total bust," Bonnie groaned.
"What do you mean?" Hench asked.
"What do I mean?" Bonnie asked in disbelief. "I mean that we had to destroy everything to cover my tracks."
"But I thought you wanted everything destroyed to cover your tracks."
"Yeah, but the downside is that with the stuff we stole from those factories destroyed, we can't rebuild my army. Can this get any worse?"
Just then, a henchman walked into the office, "Sir?"
"Yes, what is it?" Hench answered.
"Just got word that our communications systems have been disabled," The henchman announced.
"Disabled?" Hench gasped.
The henchman nodded, "Yes. What's more is that a message originated from here telling all villains that the message you sent from Greenland earlier was a prank."
"Who sent that message?" Hench demanded.
"A new person we brought on board while you were over in Greenland was responsible," The henchmen said. "He sent the message before planting the bug that disabled our com systems and mysteriously disappearing. Before disappearing, he mentioned the word, sabre."
Hench banged his fist on his desk, "It's that GJ agent that goes by no other name than a sword!"
"Well, regardless of what that GJ agent did, the factory equipment we stole was destroyed," Bonnie groaned. "There's no way we can rebuild my army now."
"Actually, Bonnie, that won't be too much trouble," Hench pointed out.
"In what way?" Bonnie asked.
"I was going to tell you earlier that I had my men study the factory equipment stolen and found a way to duplicate the designs," Hench replied. "When Friday comes, we will be able to start rebuilding your army. By then, Valerie would get her friends together to distract Possible and the sidekick."
"And let's hope K won't figure things out until it's too late for her," Bonnie added.
"So, Sabre infiltrated Hench Co., sent out a message tricking all villains into thinking the request for help was a prank and crippled Hench Co's com systems?" Anna asked after Wade finished explaining what GJ just did.
"That's right," Wade replied.
"That's good to hear, Wade," Anna commented. "Now, all we have to do is figure out who this mystery villain is and stop whatever he or she is up to."
"I'll do some digging to find out more," Wade announced. "Oh, and you should arrest Dementor; I just got word that he's committed tax evasion."
After the screen went black, Kim looked up at Dementor, "Well, Dementor, looks like you're going to jail."
Dementor sat down on the floor in despair and said, "Great!"
To Be Continued…
A/N: After the worst case of writer's block I've had yet, I'm back to writing (But I can't promise that I will update as much as I used to).
Now Team Possible knows that it wasn't Dementor behind the attacks on the factories.
One diversion fails to get off the ground, but another one could.
With that next diversion succeed?
You'll find out.
