Prologue

It's a beautiful Saturday morning in the land of the free, also known as the United States. Blue skies are clear as glass with no clouds in sight. People were doing their social activities in their neighborhood for the weekend before continuing another monotony stress-filled week to contribute to society. Inside one of the two-story houses, sits a teenage boy sitting on his gaming chair while playing Kingdom Hearts 3 on the PC with a PlayStation 5 controller.

Sitting at an average height of 5' 10" with mixed skin. He has short straight black hair with bangs over his forehead with dark brown eyes. He sports a black Dragon Ball hoodie with navy blue jeans and Timberland boots.

On the monitor of the computer, we see the boy named Sora getting his ass handed to him by Yozora.

"Come on. Come on. Hit him, dammit." The teen murmured as the boss dealt the final blow, killing Sora.

"Fuck!" He exclaimed as he took a deep breath. As he was about to go through another round, he heard a knocking on his door. He sighed as he puts down the controller on his desk and walks towards the door. Once he got there, he opens up to see nobody is around. He checked each side to find nothing, that is until he looked down to see a small brown package sitting on the step of the stairs, which causes him to raise his eyebrow.

'That's weird. We didn't order anything this week.'

Against his better judgment, he took the box and puts it in the living room. He grabbed the knife from the kitchen; cut the tape off the package, opening it to reveal the content. It's a white phone that looks like a Samsung Galaxy S20. That causes his eyebrows to rise even further.

"A phone?" The teen said to himself as he turns on the device. The screen comes on, it wasn't like any other start-up he saw. It was blue for a brief moment before turning black, then it turns white with black text saying,

Congratulations, Lune!

You are the first user to activate the prototype UTD aka. Universal Teleportation Device.

With this device, you can travel to different universes a limited number of times before the device shuts down for a decade.

After he read it; he was a bit creeped out by the fact that it knew his name, but he didn't ponder for long as the screen turns to the menu; it has the same layout as the Samsung phone. He spots a peculiar app that says "Dimension Portal". He tapped on it, opening up another page. It has a pitch-black background with a green button at the center.

"This is got to be a prank," Lune said skeptically as he pressed the button. Nothing happened.

"I knew this was bullsh-" Lune said but got interrupted when a blue portal opens beneath him. With no time to react, he fell through.

"Oh shit!"

The portal closes.

Meanwhile in the Taisho Era of Japan. It was a cold, windy day; the forest was covered in pure white snow. Despite the howling winds and sheer coldness. The forest is relatively peaceful with occasional roaming wild animals. All that changed, when a blue portal appeared in the sky. Immediately, a familiar protagonist shot through the portal and crash landing on the snowy ground which somewhat softens the blow.

The portal disappears. He is unconscious from the intense experience. Minutes later, he woke up and got up instantly due to the sheer freezing temperatures. He crosses his arms, rubbing them to try to get warm. His body begins to shake.

"Oh my god. It's so fucking cold." He complained. As he looked around, he begins to panic as he is in an unfamiliar location.

'What the hell is this place! Where did this thing take me!?' He thought as he saw the phone lying in the snow from a small distance. He walked up to it and grabbed it to see a reflection on the black screen. He gasped as he almost dropped his phone from his increasing panic as he looked at his new appearance.

His hair was no longer black, now it's colored Purple Haze which fades into Indigo at the bottom. It's the same case with his eyes, which are now Fuchsia.

"What the hell?!" He groaned. "Great, how am I going to explain this to my family, if I somehow find my way back."

He turned on the phone to see that the dimension app is gone. He heard a ping sound as the new text message appears. He opens it to see that the message is from the system and it says the following,

Welcome to your first multiverse.

This device teleporter option will be unavailable until further notice.

Until then, don't die.

He stared at the thing with a non-emotional expression for what felt like an eternity. He clenched the thing, and screamed out,

"FFFFFUUUUUCCCCKKKKK!"

{2 and a half hours later}

After he cursed and ranted through the heavens, he is now treading through the forest with struggle due to the snow covering his wet boots. At the same time, treading through the elements, makes his muscles stiffen, thus making him sluggish.

"Stupid snow. Stupid fucking device, sending me to god knows where. If I find out who made this damn thing then their ass is grass." He murmured with frustration as he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned around to see a familiar crimson-haired boy with Hanafuda earrings. The boy has a soft smile on his face.

"Hi there. Are you lost?" The boy asked as Lune's neutral expression turned to shock as he looked at him.

"Are you okay, sir?" The boy asked worriedly.

'It's official. This device wants to kill me.'
