Sonic was standing in the middle of fire.
He looked everywhere for his parents. Suddenly a brown cat walked in front of him. She held a sword in her hand and bringed it down towards Sonic.
Sonic woke up. His chest was very numb. Megan sighed from relief and said:" You passed out. But everything is alright now." Sonic looked around and then found himself in the armtrap from Tails. Tails said:" You had us worried!" Sonic said:" No injury could keep me down. I think you forgot." Tails released him and said:" Yeah. But we were able to bring down somebody named Shield." Knuckles, who leaned on the wall, still wearing the armor, said:" She broke Tails' tails. He's grounded for some time." Sonic said to Tails:" Sorry to heard that." Tails said:" No worries! My tails are in bandages and it will help heal them. And i could be useful on the ground as in the air." Sonic looked around and asked:" Where's Amy?" Knuckles and Tails looked at each other with realization, they forgot about Amy and Laura. Tails said:" Be right back!" Knuckles followed Tails outside. Sonic looked at Megan at confusion. Megan shrugged and said:" I don't know what is going inside boys' mind." Sonic lied back on the pillow and asked:" How long i must stay here?" Megan answered:" Your rib heals about 2 months but your wound...up to 8 weeks minimum. Until then you need to be in the bed." Sonic sighed and said:" Too long!" Megan said:" It's for your own good! Now i'll find something what will help to restore your red blood cells."
Tails cursed under his breath and said:" How we were able to forgot about them? Maybe something happened to them!" Knuckles said:" Calm down. They won't realize that we forgot about them." Suddenly they saw a clothed mobian jump front of them. Mobian took her hoodie off her head and asked:" Where are you two going?" Knuckles walked front of Tails and said:" We need to find our friends." Mobian asked:" Who are your friends?" Knuckles said:" It's not your business, lady! Step aside!" Mobian said:" I'm Chase. I'm in second command here. So you turn to me respect, visitor." Knuckles said:" Yeah right! And i'm Dr. Eggman himself!" Tails facepalmed himself and said:" We don't have time for this. Amy and Laura could be i danger!" Chase asked:" Did you just say Laura?" Tails nodded. Chase took some steps back and whispered:" No! No!" Tails asked:" Is everything alright?" Chase shook her head and said:" Laura was the one who betrayed Grizzly." Tails asked:" What?"
Sonic sighed and said:" I don't have anything to do here." Megan, who was cutting vegetables asked:" Where are you from?" Sonic looked away and said:" I'm not a fan of the past." Megan looked at him and asked:" Why?" Sonic sighed and said:" It's just... i'm always on the run. I will never look back. And i never want to look back." Megan asked:" Why? You know that it will make you feel better if you just talked what's in your mind." Sonic slowly sat up and said:" There's nothing to talk about. I'm just hedgehog who loves adventure. It's enough." Megan sighed and said:" If you say so. But if you feel like talking then i'm all ears." Sonic lied back down.
Young Sonic was in the arms of older hedgehog with light blue quills and white mustache. They were running from the brown cat. Sonic saw that she had bronze jumpsuit and short hair. Brown cat had pink eyes, what was glued to Sonic.
Older hedgehog then hid behind the tree and said to Sonic:" Go without me. I'll hold her off." Sonic hugged him and said:" Please, no! I want to be with you, uncle Chuck!" Chuck said:" I know. I promise that i'll be alright. We'll meet soon. Trust me." Sonic trusted him and let go of him. Sonic took last look at Chuck and ran away.
Chuck turned to the cat who was now beside him. He said:" Take your best shot."
Sonic was in safe place because she lost the sight of him. But he realized that Chuck broke his promise. He never met Sonic at the end of the forest.
Sonic was shot back into reality when Megan gave him a plate with food.
Tails and Knuckles, with Chase, were on Tornado 2. Tails asked:" Where that betrayal even came from?" Knuckles, who was on wing said:" No idea." Chase said:" Laura's adopted child is in army. She does everything to satisfy her." Knuckles asked:" Who?" Chase said:" I don't know. All i know that her name was Sharvari." Tails gasped and said:" There were some knights where Sonic had nightmares and he talked in sleep saying that name. When i asked about that then he didn't say anything." Knuckles and Chase looked at each other.
Laura bringed Amy into the castle. Amy strugged in her grasp. King walked up to them and said:" Great. When the chaos emeralds' protector is able to win the knighters then we have something what could help him give up." Laura asked:" How's with Sharvari?" King said:" Don't worry, she's alright. Now, you are free to go, ma'am."
Tails and Knuckles didn't find Amy nor Laura in the cave. Chase stared at the picture. Tails said:" We need to find Amy. Sonic will be very upset when he finds out." Knuckles put his hand to the picture and said:" Agreed. Dark Sonic will come true if something is happening to her." Tails nodded and ran to Tornado 2. Only then he noticed that Tornado 2 was out of fuel. He sighed and said:" Great time to forgot about backup fuel home." Knuckles asked:" What's wrong?" Tails answered:" Tornado 2 is out of fuel." Knuckles groaned and said:" Great! Now we are grounded and lost." Chase shook her head and said:" I know how to get to the castle from here. Amy's problably there." Knuckles and Tails nodded. It sounded like plan.
Sonic started to felt how much stronger he started to feel. Now Sonic's problem was to wonder where his friends are. Tails and Knuckles left about five hours ago and haven't come back. He haven't seen Amy after running away from the cave. It was weird. Amy has always been the first who jumped on him after he got injured or was just down. Sonic started to worry. Maybe Tails and Knuckles forgot about her? It doesn't sound like Tails. But why else did they leave when Sonic asked about Amy?
Sonic looked around and rose up slowly. He knew he needed to find Amy. What if something happened to her? Sonic didn't want to find out what will happen if he can't find Amy fast. He limped to the metallic stick. He looked at it and desided to use it as a weapon and balancer if he starts to feel weak. Sonic said:" I hope Megan understands it. I don't want to lose my friend." He opened the door and walked out.
When he got into the deeper forest then he started to run, putting the stick into his belt what he took with him after getting out from the bed. Everything went smoothly to him but suddenly...
Everything was fine but then his parents' house blew up. Sonic was out, playing with his uncle and now they were ready to go home. The first reaction for Sonic was to find his parents so he ran inside, ignoring his uncle's warnings. Sonic looked around and noticed a cat's shadow over him. She rose her sword, ready to harm Sonic but then uncle Chuck came and punched the sword away from her hands. Then he turned his attention to Sonic and took him into his hands.
Sonic shook his head and said to himself:" Please forget about those things! She's gone. She won't harm me anymore. I promise if we get through this i'll find that Sharvari." Shield was standing in the cave's opening and said:" You don't have to search for her." Sonic asked:" How did you get here?" Shield said:" I used something what belonged to princess. Remember this ninja dust? It's much better than walking." Sonic said:" Everything beats walking. And i rather run than use those 'ninja dust'." Shield walked out of the cave and removed her helmet.
Sonic gasped. It was her! Shield was Sharvari! Sonic took few steps back and asked:" You're the one who killed my family? Why?" Sharvari walked closer to him and said:" Trust me, i didn't want to kill your family. They were just in my way for getting you. It was my only failure in my career as a knight." Sonic backed into the tree and asked:" Why you wanted me?" Sharvari pinned him into the tree, holding his shoulders, and said:" You don't get it? You're the chaos emeralds' protector. It was my job to protect the kindom from your hands." Sonic said:" And you don't get it that that legend comes true because of your doings, Sharvari. There must be a reason why i lose control." Sharvari shook her head and said:" What is the reason then?" Sonic said:" My friends. I get really upset when something happens to them. You can help me prevent all of this if you could just let me see them safe and sound." Sharvari let him go and said:" Fat change, kid! You are going to the castle but not to rescue your friends." Sonic held the stick out and said:" Oh, i'll go. But only if your armor is in pieces."
Sharvari took out her sword and said:" I am the one who will bring your stopped heart to the king."
