Jaune practices his new powers in secret, Karen sends him somewhere in Forever Fall for him to train and undisturbed. He raises both hands forward and shoots an energy beam onto the nearby trees, he then uses a green energy blast on his left, and another one on his right. The noise in the forests was loud and it could also be heard from Vale to Beacon. But Karen assures him that she used her magic to block out the noise from attracting the nearby locals.
Jaune notices he is getting tired and drains of energy, he shoots out one last energy blast onto a nearby rock boulder and it causes a huge explosion. Jaune smiles at his work and sits down, he removes his mask and lets the cold air hit his body.
Until he felt a cold towel wrap around his neck, he turns to see Karen smiling at him, as she was very impressed seeing Jaune's training is going smoothly.
"Not bad on your first day training your magic, My Necromancer, but there are still rooms of improvements before you could reach to the next level." Karen said and sat down next to Jaune.
"Yeah, I didn't think being a Necromancer would leave me tired, good thing I have lots of Aura that helps me continue practicing." Jaune laughs before he uses the cold towel to help wipe his forehead and neck.
Karen hums before staring at the shattered moon, it's been quite sometime since she last saw the moon. She doesn't leave the underworld much since she became a Demon Lord, but when she was younger she loved watching the moonlight skies at night in the mortal realm, how she was envious that the mortals can enjoy the atmosphere, while the underworld is red skies and fake moon down there.
She turns her attention to her new Necromancer, Jaune's training just started but he's a fast learner and already mastered two magics in one day. A truly proud accomplishment that not many mages in her time could do, unless they were born prodigies with magician backgrounds. Prodigies... She can't stand the mere thought of being in the same room as them, Not when she has to work hard from the bottom to become a Demon Lord, while the prodigies with rich backgrounds get all the cool stuff.
But that was then and here is now. Back to Jaune though, the boy is going to be a force to be reckoned with. She noticed his movements are sloppy and needs to work on his footwork, his swordplay is terrible when he uses his sword, and clearly lacks confidence in himself and showing doubts on the current situation he's in. She's gonna have lots of work with this guy, huh?
"So Jaune, can you tell me more about yourself?" Karen asked him
"Sure, What do you want to know?"
"Why did you lie your way into Beacon? I know everything about you, your secrets aren't a problem with me." She replied quickly
Jaune stays quiet when Karen mentions that, it seems Karen forgot to mention that his secrecy isn't going to remain secret, huh? He sighs before looking at the shattered moon.
"I guess... I want to prove my old man wrong, Don't get me wrong I love my dad and I get that he wants what's best for me, but what I really want he does not want," Jaune said while looking at Karen, "I told him I want to be a hero, he told me to become a doctor, I told him I want to become a Huntsmen, he told me to become School Teacher. We're always disagreeing with my decisions and I just had enough listening to him controlling my life, so I stole my family heirloom right here, and ventured onwards to Beacon." He pointed Crocea Mors in its sheath, Karen hums and waits for Jaune to continue.
"So what would you do if you didn't make it into Beacon, even with your fake transcript?"
Jaune scratched the back of his head, "Well, I guess I'll either work at a local cafe, or become a mercenary to be honest. I don't have too many career options and it was either get into Beacon, or go with my backup plan, I refused to return to my home until I made a name for myself."
"You risk so much despite being so young, how old are you right now, if you don't mind me asking?"
"I don't mind and I'm 18 right now, My birthday is coming up next month." It was a good thing he at least remembers writing down his birthday at his dorm, he has to double check the calendar to see which date it was his birthday again...
Karen hums again and thinks about what would be a perfect gift for her new Necromancer... but that'll have to wait.
"Last question... Are you single?" She asks him the most important answer of all.
Jaune stares at her weirdly and notices strange pink hearts lurking in her red eyes.
"No... I'm still available. Why'd you ask me that?" He asked her
"Nothing! Just curious is all." Karen turns her head to her left while blowing a whistle.
Karen sure is a strange one, but in a cute way, despite being a Demon Lord and an actual demon itself, she doesn't seem all that bad to him. She acts like a teenager despite being perhaps a few thousands of years old, or something? He doesn't know how age works. But Karen to him almost felt like he was talking to Ruby for a second there, he doubted Karen having sugar high like Ruby, but there's something he can't explain how Karen sorta reminds him of Ruby.
On the other hand Karen seems to be a combination of both Blake and Weiss. If you remove Weiss not being mean, or Blake not reading and being socially awkward, then you'll perhaps get Karen. Good thing Karen doesn't seem to be a fan of "Puns" like Yang, he loves puns like any other guys, but Yang's puns aren't that great to be honest. Some of them are funny, but the rest are terrible...
"Oh, By the way, those clothes you have on right now, you need to change into something else fast. That long coat looks fine but I dislike the orange color on the inside, maybe replace it with dark red or dark blue, your blue jeans are an eyesore, I recommend switching it to a black biker jeans, don't ask me why I just feel like it." Karen gives a suggestion on Jaune's current attire, she overlooked his attire since she was busy eyeing her newest Necromancer, but those clothes just... doesn't feel right.
Jaune looks down on his clothes and frowns. He likes the changes when he puts the mask on, but he's starting to see where Karen is coming from. If he fights in this outfit, who's going to take him seriously? Now that he thinks about it, he really did need a change of paste on fashion designs.
"Okay? I'll admit that this outfit is a bit out of place and doesn't feel right on me. Do you know a place where I can change whatever recommendations you want me to wear?" Jaune asked Karen.
Karen's eyes widened and now sporting a warm smile on her face, "Oh yes I do! Before I was forced to return back to the underworld when I was younger, I always visited this shop in Vale to get my clothes dressed up like you mortals, Come! I think it should still be here!"
Karen grabs Jaune's hand and flies upwards to the skies, Jaune tries to ask Karen to slow down but she doesn't listen and continues doing fast past. He has to try to hold out his motion sickness the best he can, magic powers or not... he's still not good at air travel or flying.
"Well now? Ain't this a surprise, I didn't expect to see you again, Lady Karen?" The Shopkeep an elderly, balding, gray-haired man with wrinkles under his eyes and over his brow.
"Hello, Mr. Shopkeeper, It has been quite a while since I last saw you too." Karen went over to the elderly man and gave him a hug, the Shopkeep smiles and responds back to her hugs, that's when he notices the young man in... weirdly fashionable clothes.
"Where did you get those... Unique Clothes, young man?" Shopkeep forced his sentence while trying to avoid the negative things to say to the boy.
"Well, Karen suggests that I change my looks, since she thinks this outfit doesn't seem to fit me." Jaune scratched the back of his head while giving the elderly man an awkward smile on his face.
The old man stares at the young man closely to study what's the right size for him, "Do you have recommendations, young man?"
"Well, Karen said the long coat I have here is fine, but she thinks the orange on the inside needs to be replaced with either red or blue." Jaune took off his coat and handed it over to the elderly man.
The man checked the coat and was widely impressed how light it felt, he noticed this coat offers protection and mobility. The black on the outside looks fine, but the orange on the inside definitely needs to go. He went around the back of his shop to find the colors to replace this monstrosity.
Jaune was nervous while Karen was smiling, the two of them stood at the quiet shop hearing rummages in the backroom of the store, Jaune could swore he heard ripping noises coming from his coat.
Jaune sighs before checking around the store to see if he wants to get anything else for his outfit, the place seems fairly normal and just like any other clothing stores here in Vale, though one thing stood out is the scarf across the corner of his left eye. It was a long burberry scarf, Jaune went over and touched the fabric of the scarf, he was amazed how incredibly soft it was, he slowly removed the scarf from the rack it was in and wrapped itself around his neck.
Karen watched from the distance and gave a hum at her necromancer's taste; she wasn't into the scarf much, but knows that Jaune is perhaps happy with it.
The elderly man returns from the backroom and notices the young man and the scarf, "Oh? It seems you like that scarf, don't you boy?"
"Yeah, I don't know why but this scarf seems to fit me, how much is this one?"
The man grabs a scanner barcode from his desk and goes over to the boy, he scans the scarf's price tag and it reads only twenty dollars.
"That'll be $20 there, son."
Jaune instantly paid the man for the scarf, The man chuckles before removing the price tag off the scarf. He then went over to the boy's coat and handed it over to him. Jaune looked at the inside of his coat and the orange color was replaced with dark blue. It also has the shop's logo and name attached to it.
"I didn't have any red linens in stock at the moment, so I did the next best thing for that one. It was tough removing that cursed orange off without damaging the coat, but I made due on the repairs I have in the back." The Shopkeeper said
"Well, since your coat is finished, next is your shirt and jeans, you can keep your boots since you're going to need that a lot." Karen comes over to where Jaune is at, and gestures for him to find whichever shirts or jeans he can find in the store.
Jaune takes her advice and checks the store to find whichever strikes his interests.
"If I may? I have a black shirt over here which Mr. Arc could try on." The Shopkeeper went over to where he mentioned the shirt and handed it over to Jaune, he thanked the elderly man and went to the changing room and changed into the shirt recommended to him.
Once Jaune steps out of the room, he looks at the mirror next to him, it was a long black high collar shirt, he has to admit it looks good on him. Karen whistles and nodded in appreciation, same goes to the elderly man who gave him a thumbs up.
"Next is the jeans, and here I already picked this one out for you." Karen tosses a black jean over to Jaune, he fumbles, catches it and stares at Karen, with a "Are you serious?" expression on his face.
He sighs before heading back to the changing room and changing from blue to black, it seems Karen prefers him in black over his original attire. There was nothing wrong with black, there were other types of colors he thought would suit him, but Karen wasn't having it.
He steps out of the room again with new jeans, It was a slim black coated biker jeans, triple zippers, and surprisingly smooth to move on. His combat boots fit the pants like a glove, the same as the shirt. His red long waist belt and brown belt remain the same to complete the lower half of his body.
He went over to his coat and armor, he put on his coat first then his upgraded breastplate (V7), he added his bracers and shoulder pads, both of which re-modified pure white the same color as his breastplate, all of which trimmed with gold. Yup, he looks so much better than the first time he puts the mask on.
"Here, I got this for you to finally complete the look." Karen tosses him a black wrap, Jaune stares in confusion before she comes up to him.
Karen sighs before grabbing his hands and removing his brown gloves, He holds his hands in front of her while she puts on the wraps.
Jaune averts his gaze when he sees Karen's busts, seriously, she needs to change into decent clothes. She can't just walk around Vale dressing like that, how could that Shopkeeper over there not even be fazed by all of this?
Once Karen finished wrapping Jaune's hands, he slowly tested the grip on the wraps, it felt tight but also felt right. The wrap showcased how it was tied from his hands to his forearms, his coat sleeve was pushed down so the wraps could be wrapped around it, and overhaul... not bad.
"It's that everything?" Jaune asked Karen.
"I don't know, Is that everything you wanted?" Karen tossed the same question back to Jaune.
Jaune looked at his new clothes and felt satisfied with the choice, granted he still thinks his original attire or the ones he wore before were fine, but I guess there isn't anything wrong with going for a change.
"I think so, How much are all of these?" He asked the Shop owner, as the elderly man held up his right hand.
"Oh, I believed I'll let you have those for free, consider it a gift and I hope you continue doing business here." The generosity the man is offering with nothing in return is surprising to be honest.
"Are you sure?" Jaune asked the man again.
"Y-yes, Don't worry about the payment, Ms. Karen already paid for you when you were changing." Strangely, the man is now sweating bullets, like he was nervous from something and one wrong move would cause his death or something.
Jaune turns to see Karen giving him a warm smile, he thought he felt her glaring behind him, but it vanishes once he turns to her direction.
"Okayyyy... I guess we'll be leaving then. Take care of yourself, sir." Jaune bows to the elderly man before Karen walks out to the door.
Karen stops and turns her head towards the elderly shopkeeper, she releases her magical hold on the man, before following behind her Necromancer in a giddy excitement. Leaving behind the elderly man who sighs in relief and thanked the gods he's still alive.
The boy may not realize it, but the company he keeps is the Demon King of the Demon Realm, Astaroth. She was a former high ranking demon general, she since then gained the seat of power from her father, and has ruled over the Demon Realm for over five decades with an iron fist, none has dared challenging her rule except a few stray demons who thought she had too much power. They rebelled against Astaroth and the Demon Civil War commenced... with Astaroth coming out as the victor.
The Shopkeeper is more than just an old man having multiple jobs, he was part of an old religious society known as The Circle. His order dedicated themselves to destroying any evil entities that threatened Remnant in secret, it was a long time ago and the world was quiet thanks to his order, but time passed and the order got lazy, they weren't prepared when spawns of demons attacked them in full force. Led by Astaroth herself.
The order disbanded and were forced into hiding, the demons were ordered to exterminate any surviving members of The Circle, no prisoners. The Shopkeeper for all that he knows is the last surviving member of his order, He doesn't know why Astaroth allows him to live but he knows twice not to mess with a Demon King. One snap of her finger and she could bring hordes of demons after him, he can't risk putting the people of Vale in danger because of him, more so that young man from earlier.
He doesn't know what plans Astaroth is doing with that boy, but he knows she wouldn't be here because of that young man, that means a dangerous storm is coming... and he wants no part in that. Whatever paths that young man takes, he hopes it's the right one, because even the smallest things can affect the future of Remnant.
Pyrrha was getting worried, it had been over four or five hours and she still hadn't heard from Jaune. Is he getting bullied by Cardin again? She thought the two of them finally buried the hatchet?
"Pyrrha, I'm sure Jaune is fine wherever he is, He'll turn out soon." Ren reassures his friend from his side of the room.
"I know... but I'm just worried for Jaune, even after the whole Cardin incident is over, he's still avoiding us like a plague or something."
"I'm gonna have to side with Pyrrha on this one. Ren, Jaune-Jaune promised me more pancakes last week. But he didn't keep his promise!" Nora pouts her cheeks playfully.
Ren sighs before sitting up from his bed, "Look, Jaune perhaps just needs time to handle this out, he's been bullied by Cardin ever since he stood up for Velvet. His mind is still fresh from the whole ordeal so it's normal for him to act this way, it'll all go away and things will eventually go back to normal."
"But for how long? We're his friends, his teammates, we're supposed to be there for him." Pyrrha continues to argue with Ren.
Nora just listens in on the talk between her friends, she frowned and trusts Ren's judgment and knew that her fearless leader needs time, but at the same time she wished she could've done more for him. Her leader is stubborn and wants to prove himself, but that stubbornness is going to get him killed someday.
The dorm room's lock opens their room, the three turn to see the door opening itself, they thought it might be Team RWBY coming in, but it was the man of the hour himself. However, he was wearing new clothes instead of his old ones.
"Jaune?" Pyrrha asked her partner.
"Oh? You guys are still up? Sorry I'm late, I was in Vale picking up these clothes I'm wearing now." Jaune did a lazy spin around showing and detailing his new outfit.
'WHAT!? You went shopping without us!" Nora jumps out of her bed and runs straight towards her leader, however once she gets close, she smells something unfamiliar... It was a women's perfume.
"Where have you been, Jaune?" Ren stares at his friend
Jaune moved past Nora and went to his bed and sat down, "Well, I needed a break from Beacon and headed to Vale, I was hoping to get the new comic of X-Ray and Vav, but it sold out just as I got there."
Jaune steepled his hands, "So I then went to this place, Tuckson's bookstore, I was there passing time and didn't find anything interesting. Then I thought of getting new clothes and I said, "Why not?" So that's what I did."
"Okay, but that doesn't explain why you turned off your scroll?" Pyrrha pointed out
"Oh? I forgot I turned it off, I turned it off because I forgot to charge my scroll this morning." He pulls out his scroll and hits the power button and shows it to his friends, they check the power bar and it was at 10% battery level.
"You worried us sick, Jaune, you need to at least tell us when you're leaving." Pyrrha comes over to Jaune with her hand on her chest.
"Sorry about that guys, But I just needed time away from all... this. Cardin wasn't the only problem I was dealing with, it was something else on my mind that I just needed to vent out."
"What is that, Jaune?" His partner continues
"My doubts. I'm still doubting if I can be a good leader to you all, I'm still unconvinced Ozpin selected me as a leader, While you three trained hard to get here in Beacon and earned your place, I didn't. I cheated my way here using forged transcripts, I don't deserve to be here and I still don't." Jaune letting his true emotions out to his friends, he held this piece in his heart for too long.
His friends didn't know what to say, they knew he was still having doubts and knew not to judge him. But Jaune doesn't need their pity, or else he'll lashed out and go to the school's rooftop.
"Jaune, I know you don't want to be pitied, but I know well enough that you earned a spot here." Pyrrha got close to her partner and sat down next to him in his bed, "I'm not good with words so if you could forgive me, but I know the feeling you're holding on to, very well."
Jaune stood up and walked around the room, "It's not the same, Pyrrha? Your parents forced you to become the best warrior, and here you are the grand slam champion in Beacon, while me? A kid who grew up in a small town wasn't born for greatness."
"Jaune, I think you need to calm down and think this through." Ren cutting himself into the conversation, Jaune is losing his composure and if he doesn't calm his leader down soon, things in the room will explode.
"Calm down? You want me to calm down! I'm perfectly fine, Ren," Jaune explodes when hearing his friend telling him to calm down, "In fact, I'm feeling better, Better than before actually!"
"Jaune! You need to calm down!" Nora steps in between both Jaune and Ren, as tears slowly come from her eyes on seeing her leader acting like this.
"Back off, Nora! This is between me and Ren." Jaune shouts at Nora and turns his attention back towards his fellow male in the room.
"Jaune! What is going on with you!" Pyrrha has enough and comes to Nora's aid, "You were just fine a moment ago, Why are you getting angry with us?"
Jaune was getting more fed up and frustrated with his team, "I came to Beacon to get out of father's shadow! Proving him that I can become a hero, but he didn't believe that I have what it takes and gave more attention to my sister's training instead of me!"
"I want to know the meaning of becoming a Huntsmen, learn how to protect humanity against the Grimm, but so far it has been nothing but lessons and losing streaks," Jaune grips the top portion of his hair, he almost ripped them in frustration, "I haven't won a single match since I came here, despite your training, Pyrrha, I still lose!"
"But you're starting to improve! Everyone including Team RWBY can see that!?" Pyrrha felt hot tears coming down from her cheeks, this was all too much...
"My "Improvements" you say are garbage, your style doesn't fit me, it never was," Jaune dropping the bomb on his partner, "I'm sorry for being harsh, Pyrrha, but I think our training regimen are finished."
Nora couldn't hold it in any longer and went over to her leader and gave him a loud slap in the face, as more hot tears came pouring in her cheeks. The slap was so loud it could be heard from Team RWBY's dorm to the rest of the school, even Ozpin's tower.
"HOW COULD YOU!? After what Pyrrha has done for you, you're just calling quits because you're being a sore loser!?" Nora shouted at Jaune.
Jaune stood silent as he put his hand where Nora had slapped him, it hurt... but not as much it did before, it felt like a strong toddler giving him a big smack. He would've chuckled if not for the current situation...
"Call me whatever you want, Nora," Jaune looks up and gives Nora a cold, stoic expression on his face, "It doesn't change the fact how I feel."
Jaune moves past Nora and goes to his closet and gets his things, "W-what are you doing, Jaune?" Pyrrha said
"I'm leaving, I resigned my position as team leader, and got my things." Jaune pushed past Ren's clothes and grabbed his suitcase, he forcefully stuffed his extra clothes he brought along with him inside it, "Take care of yourselves, and don't try to follow me."
"W-wait!? Jaune! You can't just leave us!?" Pyrrha stops Jaune from opening the room's door from leaving, "What Nora did was out of control on her part, but she didn't mean to hurt you! You're just being all angry and different, and now you suddenly just want to leave!?"
Jaune stares at his partner in a bored manner, "What Nora did has proved my point from my comment earlier, that I don't deserve to be here," He forcefully pushed past Pyrrha and opens the door, he walks out to see Team RWBY standing in front of him, "Great... it's you four."
"What's that mean, Vomit Boy? Not happy to see us?" Yang grits her teeth and doesn't like a change of attitude from Jaune.
"No, You're just in my way."
"Jaune? What's going on and why do you have your suitcase ready?" Ruby quietly asked her friend.
"Jaune is leaving! We got into an argument and now he's leaving us!?" Pyrrha comes running to the side of Jaune and clutches his left side, and starts begging him to not go.
"WHAT!?" Ruby was the only one out of her team to respond.
"It doesn't concern you four, now get out of my way." Jaune pushed past them and into the hallway.
"HEY! Where do you think you're going!?" Yang comes running behind and tries to hit him, but Jaune doesn't look back as when Yang was within arms reach of him, a large yellow energy barrier was made when she threw a punch. This shocks her since she has never seen Jaune's Semblance in action before.
"A valid effort but futile, my new powers are incredible." Jaune mutters quietly to himself, not even Blake can hear what he said since his voice was just too quiet and fast-paced.
"What was that, Arc?" Weiss finally speaks as she witnesses that weird barrier Arc did, "Did you finally unlock your Semblance?"
Jaune stops his tracks when Weiss mentions his Semblance, he slowly turns his head back to the direction towards his friends, "It's much more than that" Then he continues on walking into the dark hallways.
"Ruby, Blake! Go follow after him!" Weiss shouts at both her teammates to go after Arc.
"R-right! Come on Blake, We have to chase after him!" Ruby broke out in shock thanks to Weiss's yelling and dragged Blake with her.
In all honesty though, Blake didn't blame Jaune's decision to leave. She knew she would if her secrets were revealed, but her friends told her they don't care that she's a faunus, and still treat her as their friends. Jaune, however, is a different case and she wished she could've done something to help him, but she doesn't even know where to start or know how to talk to Jaune in the first place.
The two of them only talk when their teams are together, besides being seatmates sometimes in classes, they barely interact with one another. She pushed past her thoughts as she and Ruby were gaining behind Jaune, who was surprisingly still walking like normal.
"Jaune! You need to stop and come back!" Ruby used her Semblance to help speed up her paste to catch Jaune.
Jaune however wasn't even worried since he knew a lot about Ruby's speed, He continued his walk as when Ruby got close to him trying to grab him, another yellow energy barrier stopped her from touching him. He was basically untouchable at his point.
"Stop using your Semblance from me capturing you, meanie!" Ruby desperately tries again to find a way past the energy barrier.
Blake somehow gets in front of Jaune and tries to use Gambol Shroud to capture him, but Jaune's blasted Semblance blocks her from reaching him.
"Why don't you two quit while you still can, because if you keep this up, I'll be forced to action." Jaune was getting fed up by Ruby and Blake's attempt on taking back.
"Never!" Ruby declares and if Jaune isn't going to listen, they are gonna have to beat him and forcefully take him back.
Jaune stops his tracks and turns around to see Ruby and Blake, both having their weapons and arms ready. He really didn't want to fight either of them, but they forced his hands and he needed to end this fast.
"Just know that you ask for it." Jaune didn't waste any time and surprised the both of them with his new magic, He delivers powerful dark energy blasts from his hands. It knocked the two girls out cold.
"I'm sorry, Ruby... But this is a path that I now chose."
"And I'm sorry that it has to come to this, Mr. Arc." A familiar voice said behind him, Jaune turns around to see Professor Ozpin and Glynda Goodwitch, along with some weird raven-haired guy.
"I see you took care of my niece there, kid," The man points out towards the fallen Ruby on the floor, "Allow me to return the favor to you."
The man pulls out his weapon and charges at Jaune with intense speed, Jaune grits his teeth when the man's sword hits his barrier. He was still inexperienced in magic and didn't know if he would take on this man, he was about to use another energy blast but Glynda used her Semblance to stop him from casting another one.
"Qrow! That's enough," Ozpin orders for this Qrow guy to stop, he grunted before pulling back from him, "Now, Mr. Arc, can you explain why you are leaving?"
"Cut the act, Ozpin, I discovered your secrets and how you're hoarding the Fall Maiden here." Jaune replied back
The three were cut off guard and wondered how in the world Jaune found out about the Fall Maiden, "Where did you learn that kid, tell us!"
"From where else? The Relic of Choice." Jaune slowly pulls out the special item Ozpin hidden away in the vaults, Ozpin widens when he recognizes the relic.
"Mr. Arc, I'm only going to say this once, Where. Did. You. Get. That." Ozpin glares hard towards his student, that thing shouldn't be supposed to be found, who knows what would happen should Salem find out that the Relic of Choice is in the hands of his student.
Jaune now sporting a cocky smirk on his face, "This beautiful thing? I was exploring the vaults you have hidden underneath that tower of yours," He slowly walked left and right, "It was a total accident for me finding this though, I didn't even know it existed until I discovered it."
"I see..." Ozpin was unconvinced by his student and kept a close eye on the relic.
"I also discovered... secrets from it, when I put the crown on it details visions from my future," Jaune frowns in remembering when he put the relic on, "Detailing future choices I have to make, how even a smallest thing could affect this world if not careful, but the visions I received are random."
"And pray tell what these visions you received?" Ozpin will admit he was curious to learn what type of visions his student discovered.
Jaune stayed quiet for a moment before responding, "One world is where I ruled as king, I have annihilated all those who opposed me, and my followers joined my conquest and to take over the world," Jaune raise one finger up, "The second world is like the first but only nicer, In that world I joined forces with you and stopping Salem once and for all, she was finally defeated and the world of Remnant was saved at last."
Ozpin felt glad on hearing that one, a world where his goals of defeating Salem at long last was all he wanted. Though he frowns upon hearing the first world, it seems that reality or visions Mr. Arc led him to a dark path and perhaps even more worse than Salem herself.
"Alright, kid, I know there is more you can tell us." Qrow kept his eye on the kid and the relic, as he two finds himself a bit curious about the kid's nonsense on world talks.
"The third world is where I remained neutral in the whole conflict, I wished not to be part of this war going between you and this Salem person," Jaune frowns just mentioning that name, "However, I will be forced to choose a side regardless of my decisions."
"And that last one?" Glynda calls out.
"That I can't tell you." Jaune replied.
"Cut the bullshit, kid!" Qrow was fed up with the kid's antics, "So either you tell us the last vision you received, or you're going to get another beating from me, your pick."
Jaune agrees and he was starting to hate Qrow or even being in the same room as him, "How about I choose another option, I call in help."
A dark portal appears behind Jaune, as Karen flew towards her Necromancer and hugged him tightly.
"Oh~ How I missed you, being back in the underworld was such a bore." Karen said and complained on returning back to the underworld.
"That's great, but I need you to take us somewhere as far away from here as possible." Jaune orders Karen to do so.
"Wait! Mr. Arc!" Glynda tries to use her Semblance on stopping the two, but Karen cancels out Glynda's Semblance, much to the confusion from the witch huntress.
"Keep your hands off of my Necromancer." Karen glares at Glynda before activating another portal for them and escaping from the three trained Huntsmen.
Ozpin went over to where Mr. Arc and that woman was standing, he frowns and couldn't believe Mr. Arc would do this.
"So the kid escapes? Want me to chase after them?" Qrow asked Ozpin
"No. I suggest not to go out searching for Mr. Arc at the moment, There has been... lots of things happened here for one night."
"What I still don't understand is how did Mr. Arc gets his hands on the relic," Glynda still thinks back to the Relic of Choice, "I thought it was safeguarded in one of the vaults?"
"It doesn't matter, Glynda, what matters is the kid got away and we're here to clean up his mess." Qrow kicks an empty can across the hallway in frustration.
"Agreed, Qrow, Glynda, take both Ms. Rose and Ms. Belladonna back to their dorms." Ozpin said to his colleagues, they nodded before they went over to the unconscious students and pulled them up and headed back to the dorms.
Ozpin stood still on the same spot Mr. Arc was on, before he confronted Mr. Arc he saw him using magic against Ms. Rose and Ms. Belladonna. How can Mr. Arc uses magic and where did he get it from? From what heard from Nicholas Arc, his son was a fairly normal teenager, he was fairly aware that Mr. Arc does not have combat training, and didn't attend a combat school, but he chose to overlook it since he saw the boy's hidden potential.
But what he witnessed earlier goes beyond his original expectations for young Mr. Arc, he knows things he shouldn't have known and now he's part of whatever Salem has in plan for him once she discovers he has the Relic of Choice. He prayed that Mr... no, Jaune would be safe. Because he continues to remain out with the relic in hands, Salem isn't going to stop coming after him unless she gets that cursed item.
"Mr. Arc... I pray for your safety."
I'll end it here folks, It is currently 11:46 where I'm at. I haven't slept yet and worked all night on this chapter. I know it isn't the best and grammar looks bad, but it was all I could do and English isn't my first language.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the second chapter and once I get some sleep, I'll work the third chapter, I'll see you
