A Hero of Great Importance Will Be Imprisoned
That was an interesting chapter my brother posted. Let's see where I can go from there. Here's chapter 7.
Percy's POV
This is the part where I should be begging for death. I mean, I'm covered in so much sweat, dirt, and blood. Gargarensis wanted to just take me where we was gonna take me, but I wouldn't budge. I resisted as best as I could, I even went into fighting back, fighting him head on. Let me tell you something, fighting him, nowhere near a good idea. I tried everything, all of my powers and all of my skills to fight him, but nothing worked. He was too strong for me. He somehow made Kronos look like child's play. It was as if he knew every move I was going to make even before I knew or thought about using that move. Where does one Cyclops gain such power?
Anyways, after so much resistance, he was finally able to get me to stop resisting with that lightning attack he used on me back at camp. I'll tell you, that attack of his really packs a nasty punch. Its times like that that makes you think to yourself "Time to Ride the Lightning". Now I know the pain Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, Savage Oppress, Darth Maul, Darth Sidious, Mace Windu, Yoda, and Luke Skywalker, felt in all the Star Wars movies and cartoons when they were struck by force lightning, it fucking hurts.
Now, here we are, me being carried by Gargarensis with him carrying me by the neck, towards where he was gonna take me. He really knew how to cause pain. And I thought my brother Tyson hand super strength hands. I was already in so much pain, and his hand on my neck wasn't of any relief. If I wasn't gonna die from that red lightning of his, I was definitely gonna die by the possible chance of Gargarensis snapping my neck.
"You won't get away with this." I said as best as I could.
"Pretty bold words for a little insect that is born from the pathetic excuse of a sea god." He said.
"What do you want from me?" I asked.
"I told you earlier, I have need of your titan slaying energy." He said.
"For what?" I asked, still not knowing what he needed my energy for.
"I need it so I can bring my mother back." He said.
"You want my energy for your mother?" I asked shocked.
"Yes, if I have your energy and offer it to my mother, then she will finally awaken and bring about the destruction of Olympus." He said.
"Olympus will never be destroyed." I said as certain as I could.
"Don't be so sure, without you, they are finished." He said.
"Then why don't you just kill me?" I asked.
"Because killing you now would ruin everything." He said.
"Why not just go for the energy that the gods possess, wouldn't that work just as well?" I asked, curious as to why my life was just as valuable as that of the gods.
"Well truth be told, we were going to use the gods as a sacrifice to bring my mother back, but she wanted to destroy them when she wakes, and not to mention, since you've done many things that even the gods can't do, she demanded that we use you as a sacrifice instead. She said your energy alone would be far more potent anyways." He explained.
I didn't quite know how to respond to that. I mean, I knew that things I did made me stronger than most, but I didn't quite think it would make more valuable than most to others.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"Over there, into the heart of Tartarus." He said, pointing to what he described as the heart of Tartarus.
As he was taking me to the heart of Tartarus, I caught many sights of monster coming in and out of it. There were Cyclopes, Nemeon Lions, Chimeras, Scorpions, Hell Hounds, Hekatoncheires, Sirens, Dracaenae, and Makhai. There were so many of them. I didn't need any questions asked to know that they were all here for one purpose: war.
"Impressive, aren't they. They've been growing in numbers and strength for the past 18 years." Gargarensis said.
18 YEARS!? This has been going on ever since . . . ever since the birth of my son, and the discovery of his prophecy. This is what the prophecy was talking about when it mentioned going to war. A war that will most likely get the entire universe destroyed. But in truth, I was hardly worried about the universe right now. My thoughts and concerns right now were on my son. This is what he was meant to fight in, and I was scared. He is the strongest of his generation, but that doesn't seem like that's going to make a difference here. This army is so big, and from what I just heard, they've been preparing for this war for years. What if their power and strength far surpass that of my son's? I didn't want to think that, but this army just had so much strength. I could feel the aura of their power just by looking at them.
"Don't worry; you won't have to worry about any of them getting to kill you. That honor will belong to their mistress." Gargarensis said.
Now we entered the heart of Tartarus. There were so many different path, twists, and turns in this place. It was like the Labyrinth all over again. Gargarensis however seemed to know exactly where he was going because he didn't pause, hesitate, or stop for a second, he just kept walking. I tell you, this guy is like the omba (meaning both god and devil) of all monsters. Eventually, there was just one doorway now. It lead to what I assumed was the center of Tartarus' heart. Next, there was a bridge made out of rocks and stones that we crossed. Then there was a throne at the end. When we reached the end of the bridge that was when Gargarensis threw me on the ground in front of it. I can't tell what part about that I hated more, being thrown to the ground or landing on face to the ground.
Just when I had to wonder what else could happen right now, something began to stir on the throne. It was something of dark power and black magic. I couldn't make out on who or what it was; only that wasn't anything good.
"My, my, what a pleasant surprise my son. You've finally brought me my favorite great-grandson." Said a female's voice. Just by what she said, I knew right away who it was now. Okay, now I'm dead.
The dark power and black magic began to take shape and form. It was her. The mother of all titans, the mother of all giants, mother earth, Earth, Terra, GAIA!
"Welcome Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon." She said in what I assumed was her sweet voice, if she even has one. "You're the one who destroyed my son, your grandfather Kronos 18 years ago. I've been looking forward to meet you." She said, approaching me.
I wish I could fight, but I'm too weak to even move, I can barely even move my head. It hurt so much. Even if I could, what good would it do? There's no way I can find a way out of here, Gargarensis is guarding the only out of here, and this is Gaia we're talking about. There's no way I'd be able to save myself from her. All I could do is just lay here and suffer.
She knelt down in front of me with that sick sweet smile still on her face. Then I felt some force bringing me to my knees. It was then I was able to get a better look at her. She had eyes as green as fresh grass in a grassland, hair as black as a raven's feathers, skin that was tan yet creamy all at the same time, and she carried the scent of a tropical forest on her. Though she had quite a rare degree of physical appeal, she had an ugly degree of mental health.
She then grabbed a hold of my face, that smile of hers never leaving her face, and then, well, I didn't expect this at all. She crashed her lips on mine, she was kissing me. Actually, forget just kissing, she was shoving her tongue in my mouth. I felt so violated. This was practically rape. I had no way in resisting her. I didn't kiss back, but I could fight back at, my body felt just as bad as it looked. I wonder what Gargarensis' reaction to this is. I can't tell since he's behind me and I can't see anything behind me. If I were him, this would be a complete WTF moment. I didn't hear anything from behind me though. I guess he just didn't want to ruin his mother's good mood right now.
When she pulled away, she seemed to have a satisfied smile on her face. She obviously felt good right now, I on the other hand felt disgusted.
"Mm, you truly are your father's son." She said, not letting me go.
Oh, how I wish I were dead right now. "What do you want?" I asked as strongly as I could.
"I simply want Olympus destroyed. I want to have my revenge, the revenge I have waited thousands of years for. And I will achieve my revenge with your help." She said.
"And what do I have to do with you achieving your revenge?" I asked.
"We simply transfer the divine powers you possess over to me so that I can return to power and have the strength I need to destroy the gods." She explained.
"So in other words, you're gonna use me as a battery and a sacrifice to have your full strength back." I said.
"Yes." She said right after she snapped her fingers. That's when Gargarensis left. I didn't need to ask any questions to know he was getting something to restrain me from any unlikely possible chances of me being able to resist. Honestly, it wouldn't matter anymore. I'm in no condition to offer even the slightest of resistance. I knew Gaia had plans to use my life to strengthen hers, but I didn't want to know what else she was planning right now.
"You're gonna destroy millions of lives." I said.
"I only seek the destruction of Olympus. Once the Olympians are out of the way for good, I will rule my world once again.' She started, but didn't finish. Then she brought me even closer to her, pressing my damaged body onto hers. "And I may consider just destroying the gods and letting your camp and your friends live, if you behave." She whispered into my ear.
"How can I if I don't even have the strength to move my body?" I asked.
"You won't need to move your body; I'll be doing all the work. And once Olympus is destroyed, if you're still alive after I achieve my power again, there will be a pawn of mine being made as my king." She said, planting kisses on my neck.
'Why me?' I thought to myself.
Just then, the sound of chains being dragged onto the ground reached my ears. That's when Gaia finally stopped sexually harassing me and let me go. "Let the revival begin." She said as Gargarensis picked me up and began to wrap my body in chains. Afterlife, here I come.
I'll stop there. Sorry if this chapter was weird to you, from reading 'The Mark of Athena', I've kinda expected that Gaia had a bit of a thing for Percy. I know, unlikely, but it still just seemed like that was the case to me. I mean after all, she had a thing for his father Poseidon, considering the fact that she and he had a son together. Like father, like son. Anyways, sorry if you didn't like it, and the next chapter my brother will post as soon as possible.
