Lost Family
"Bubba help me! Don't wanna go away, I wanna stay here" the red headed little girl screamed for him. He couldn't make out her face, but he knew she was someone important to him.
"Please stop, you can't do this. She's my baby sister!" Wait baby sister, he doesn't have a baby sister, does he? Arthur woke up startled. Drenched in a cold sweat. It was still late, just before midnight, and he didn't want to wake Molly or Ginny, his almost 3-month-old daughter. So, he gently got up from the bed and made his way to the kitchen. As he sat down at the table he sighed and ran his hand through his hair thinking of his dream, as if he didn't have enough to worry about with the war going on, he kept having this dream of a younger sister that he doesn't remember having. Arthur turned on the wizard radio to hopefully listen to something that would help relax him. Just then the news of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named being defeated aired. Arthur was in shock. It was finally over; the war is coming to an end. The news then reported the tragic deaths of both James and Lily Potter being the last innocent lives the monster would take. Arthur was amazed but at the same time heart broken, he knew the Potters had a very young son. Thinking of this loss made him think of the recent deaths of his dearest Molly's brothers, Gideon and Fabian. The Prewett boys, the Potters, how many other countless lives were taken or destroyed. Arthur closed his eyes and grieved for those that were lost, the young red head flashed once more through his mind. He stood up and reached for a calming draught, he knew it was the only way he would be able to return to sleep. As he is supposed to return to work tomorrow, he had to get some rest.
At the same time, Northwest of the Burrow in Godric's Hollow a giant man sat stop a flying motorcycle gently cradling a bundle in his arms. He looked bellow at the ruin that was once a house and pulled the bundle just a little closer to his chest. The giant man took off in an east direction, taking the bundle where he was told to.
A few hours later he landed as softly as he could and handed the bundle to on Albus Dumbledore. "Ah, Hagrid my boy." he was all smiles and twinkly eyes behind his half-moon spectacles. "Have you brought him? Was he ok?" Albus asked in a grandfatherly tone.
"Aye, Professor I have him right here." The giant man, Hagrid, lifted his bundle and revealed a small baby who was fast asleep. "Everything seems to be right about him, cept that cut there on his head there" He emphasized the Lightening bot shaped cut on the small boy's forehead. Albus smiled and waved it off, he took the boy from Hagrid and placed him and a note on the top step in front of a non-descript house. A house that looked just like the other ones on the street. With that both men turned and walked away to join in on the celebrations of the night. The small boy curled a little more and clutched the letter in is hand, yet he stayed asleep.
