"Iida, can you load everyone onto the bus?" Bulla asked her secretary, handing him a clipboard with an attendance form.
"Of course! I won't you down!" Iida said proudly as he took out a whistle.
"Wait, that's not-!" Before she could talk him out of it, the loud high-pitched blow sounded across the courtyard.
"Attention Class 1A! It is now time to board! Line up by your student number and file onto the bus one at a time!" He yelled before Bulla put a hand on his, lowering the whistle to his waist.
"Iida, I appreciate the enthusiasm, but the formalities aren't really necessary." She addressed before turning to her class. "The class officers will board last. Beside that, please board two people at a time."
As the class complied, Iida began marking off names in order to make sure that everybody was accountable for. "Midoriya, keep a record of the events during this class. I want to make sure we have a good story for the yearbook."
"Right!" He responded as Bulla handed him a blank notebook with a pen.
"Bulla, what's that earring you're wearing?" Yaoyorozu asked her, leaning over to get a better view of the silver-and-amber piece of jewelry. "I didn't think that you were type."
"Oh, there's some old legend around these. Something like the two who wear them sharing each other's strength, so I think of it as a good luck charm." She explained as the remainder of the class finished boarding, and the officers joined them. "It's beautiful, but I bet it'd be even more so with both of them on."
"Yeah, but it meant a lot to Pan that I have this. So I'll wear it unconditionally." She smiled as the two began to chat with Uraraka for the remainder of the trip.
Upon arrival, the class was greeted by an abnormally large dome facility. The class filed in, where they could see several smaller large domes out in the distance. Just before the incredible decline, a figure wearing some form of a space suit waited. "Hello, Class 1A! I'm glad that you didn't keep me waiting!"
"It's the Space Hero: Thirteen!" Midoriya said in excitement as Bulla stepped off of the bus. "The chivalrous pro who's rescued tons of people from disasters around the world!"
"You are currently standing in the Unforseen Simulation Joint!" The feminine voice announced from within the suit. Here, you will encounter several simulated disasters, such as: a shipwreck, a landslide, a mass arson, a windstorm, etc."
"Holy crap!" Kirishima said as he looked out over the cliff.
"I created this training facility to prepare you to deal with different kinds of disasters! You can call it the USJ, for short!" She explained, causing a lot of faces to go blank.
Aizawa and Thirteen briefly spoke, whispering between each other before Aizawa turned around, calling over the class officers. Midoriya, Iida, Bulla, Uraraka, and Yaoyorozu ran up to the two heroes. "As the class officers, you're entitled to all information regarding the classes, so I'm only telling you five this. All Might is going to be late today."
"Woah, for real? Did something happen?!" Midoriya asked him, a look of concern filling his eyes.
"He's fine, young man. He...overslept. By about three hours, so he's trying his best to get his work in order before joining us. Between you and me, I wouldn't be surprised if the principal was lecturing him right now."
"All Might oversleeping? How irresponsible." Yaoyorozu claimed as Midoriya and Uraraka looked at her in shock.
"It's crazy, though. He doesn't seem like the tired type." Bulla said, holding her chin in her fingers.
"Still, it's disgraceful to allow such a mistake, Symbol of Peace or not." Iida concluded.
"Well, don't worry too much about it. The class will continue as planned. Go join your classmates." Aizawa told them as he turned back to Thirteen.
"Right!" The five said in unison. As they stepped away, Thirteen began her lesson.
"Now, everyone. I'm sure you're aware that I have a powerful Quirk, known as Black Hole. I can use it to suck up anything and turn it into dust." She explained.
"Yeah, it's such an amazing power! You've used it save people from disasters all over the world!" Midoriya praised as Bulla began to realize what a fanboy he was.
"That's right, however, it could very easily be used to kill." As the word left her mouth, everyone's excited faces melded into some much more somber. "Some of you also have dangerous abilities, even at your age. In our superhuman society, all Quirks are certified and stringently regulated, so we often overlook how unsafe they can actually be. Please don't forget that if you lose focus, if you make a wrong choice, your powers could turn deadly in an instant. Thanks to your training from the last couple of days, both you and I know the potential of your abilities, as well as the danger of using them against others. Today, you're going to learn how to use your abilities to save people's lives! You won't be using them to attack or hurt anybod-!" Before she could finish her statement, the lights across the USJ suddenly surged.
Looking around, Aizawa noticed the water fountain spurting unnaturally, and as he focused, a purple vortex formed before them. After only a moment, the vortex erupted into a purple shroud, a hand slowly crept through. "Stay together and don't move!" Aizawa suddenly said. "Thirteen, protect the students!"
As they looked down, a single man first walked out of the shroud, covered in hands all around him. "Whoa, what is that thing?" Kirishima asked as Bulla's eyes widened.
"No... Why do you keep coming?!" Bulla said to herself, gritting her teeth as her heart sank to her stomach. Several others began to pour out of the shroud.
"Wait, has the training started already?" As Kirishima took a step forward, he stopped with a small beam hitting the ground just before his feet. "What the hell was that for!?"
"Everybody stay back! These guys are dangerous!" Bulla announced, her breathing becoming more erratic as a large monstrous creature stepped out of the shroud. No! No please! It's just like then! It's followed me here! Six months ago on that night, Bulla couldn't make out many features about the thing that killed her parents. The only thing she could remember was a black figure, several scar, an overly-muscular build, and a large beak like mouth with jagged teeth.
Bulla dropped to her knees, holding her chest as she lost control of her breathing. "Bulla!" Yaoyorozu rushed to her side, creating a paper bag from her arm. "It's okay! Just breath into this, calm down!" Seeing their class representative hyperventilate, it became apparent how dire the situation was.
"Yaoyorozu, take care of your class rep." Aizawa demanded before sliding his goggles on underneath his hair, covering his eyes.
"Are you alright?" Uraraka asked as she kneeled next to her friend, joined by Midoriya and Iida.
"N-No! It c-can't be here! It'll take ev-everything from me again!" Her rantings worried her officers, and Uraraka held her hands to over her mouth as her eyes began to well up. It was heartbreaking seeing her like this.
"Perplexing. According to the schedule that we retrieved from UA, All Might should be here as well." A disembodied voice spoke from below.
"So you scumbags used the press as cover and sneaked onto campus." Aizawa responded to them, looking down at the growing number of enemies. As the two villains at the helm of the crowd exchanged words, Aizawa prepared to fight.
"Thirteen, why aren't the alarms sounding!" Yaoyorozu asked, having gotten Bulla to calm down and sit on her behind rather than on her knees.
"I'm not sure. I really wish I could tell you." Thirteen responded.
"Are they targeting the whole campus, or just this location?" Todoroki asked himself. "If the alarms aren't sounding, then one of these villains must have some kind of jamming Quirk."
"They chose this time, the time where a class was being held, to attack. Although it seems unwise to enter onto a UA facility like this, it looks like they've thought this out." Midoriya continued. "What could their objective be?"
"Thirteen, get them out of here, and alert the main campus." Aizawa told his comrade.
"Kaminari!" Bulla suddenly said, her breathing heavy, but stable. As he ran up to her, Yaoyorozu helped her to her feet. "Try using your Quirk to contact the school somehow!"
"I'm already on it, class rep!" He told her, holding a hand to his earpiece.
"Are you alright?" Yaoyorozu asked her, holding a hand against her abdomen.
"Yeah, I'll be fine." After taking one more deep breath, Bulla stood proud before her class. "Everyone, I'm sorry you had to see me like that, and for making you worry." That's not it. It's not the same monster. As strong as it was, Super Shenron sent us here, out of reach by every sense of the word. It's somewhere that he can't get to. So, that must be a different kind of monster from the one I've seen. Although her thoughts repeated like a record in an attempt to calm her nerves, her legs still shook, and the voice in the back of her head would ask, over and over again, what she would do if she was wrong.
"Mr. Aizawa! You can't do this alone!" Midoriya called out as their teacher placed his foot down on the second step. "There's way too many of them! Even if you can nullify some of their Quirks, your fighting style is better suited for stealth and one-on-one combat!"
"You can't be a pro if you only have one trick." Aizawa told his class as he leaped into the air, diving towards his opponents. Right away, Aizawa took down three villains before immersing himself into the crowd.
As Aizawa began taking down villains left and right, Bulla turned to her class. "Okay, everyone, let's get out of here! We need to get back to the school!" She called out, directing everyone towards the door. "Midoriya, that includes you, too!" She yelled, snapping Midoriya from his curious daze. The students ran down the long walk way before being intercepted by the purple shroud. Rising from the ground, a set of yellow eyes glared back at the students.
"It's a pleasure to meet you. We are the League of Villains. I know it's impolite, but we decided to invite ourselves in." The shroud spoke.
"So, you're the League of Villains that the creepy guy was telling me about before." Bulla told him, stepping out in front of her class.
"Oh, you've heard about us?" The shroud spoke. "Ah, yes, I remember you. We didn't get a chance to interact the last time I saw you. You couldn't see, but I was acting from the shadows, so I apologize for not having introduced myself then."
"Save your apologies. Why are you here?" Bulla asked as the Ki in her hands began to glow.
"We just thought that this place would be perfect for All Might to take his last breath. It's quite poetic, the Symbol of Peace, the man who saved a thousand people once, falling on the grounds of the place meant to train others to do the same." He spoke. "I believe he was supposed to be here today, and yet I see no sign of him."
"Well, sorry to disappoint you, but he's not here!" Bulla yelled as she threw her hands together and unleashed a Ki blast straight for her opponent. Just as quickly as it vanished, it reappeared once again, this time growing larger as the distance closed. Bulla threw her arms up, taking the full front of her own attack as she was knocked backwards. Before she could hit the ground, Iida managed to rush behind her and catch her in his arms.
"Are you alright?!" He asked her.
"I'll be fine." Bulla grit her teeth, feeling the burned sensation on her arms.
"Whether he's here or not makes no difference. I still have a role to play." The shroud spoke as Bakugo and Kirishima lunged at the purple cloud, creating a large explosion of dust with their attack. "You live up to your school's reputation. However, you certainly should be more careful. Otherwise someone could badly injure themselves."
"What are you doing?!" Bulla called out to her classmates.
"You two, get out of the way, right now!" Thirteen demanded as one of the fingers on her glove opened up.
"I'll scatter you across this facility!" The shroud yelled. "To meet my comrades, and your deaths!" The limits of his shadowy mist expanded, engulfing the crowd of students. As Iida turned away, using his body to try and shield his class representative, the light soon vanished from Bulla's vision, and the class was submerged into darkness.
