Bleueeddevil06, thank you for being my beta!

Isabella huffed out in annoyance, and she would have scolded any child for what she did next. She stomped her foot. "Damon William Salvatore! Don't you dare walk away from me!" She had used her best governess voice.

He froze and slowly turned around. "Yes?" He looked utterly chastised. She almost laughed but refrained because she knew he wouldn't understand.

She crossed her arms. "I already know the answer. Yes, I could love you—a second son who could give me my own children." She then said, "I love you—so much. I didn't know you could even see me."

Damon strode over to her and said, "you're all I see. How could I miss you? Your kindness and your patience…Then you're so beautiful...I want to drown in your eyes. Every time we speak, it's the highlight of my day."

She blushed, and he almost kissed her for it. She said, "It's you. Only you I can see. I never dreamed…"

He dared to caress her cheek. "May I court you? You know Mary. I met her, and I wasn't attracted to her, but she was the perfect woman. And I was so glad she loved Stefan. Then... then I met you, and she turned into a toad in my mind. You outshine every woman in existence."

"Yes, gladly." She grasped his hand, and he brought hers up to his lips to kiss her hand gently.

"May I escort you home, Miss Isabella?"

"No!" She said strongly and blushed when she saw Damon's hurt expression. "I don't mean it like that. But the Lockwoods hate you. They're my employer. I don't want to upset them."

"Then how do you recommend I court you?"

"It's not fair, but secretly?" She asked with an air of uneasiness.

Damon cocked his head then walked right up to her and almost touched noses with her. "What prevents me from trying something ungentlemanly if no one is around?" His eyes locked with hers and there was fire in his gaze.

She blushed to her roots and fidgeted. "Me."

He gave a low chuckle. "What if you don't want me to stop, Isabella? What if you burn for my advances?"

She swallowed hard. "Okay, not secretly. How about we just don't make it too in their face then? Those kids are a nightmare and everyone knows it. They can't fire me. They don't even like their kids; they won't go without help."

He shifted forward and kissed her on the lips, deepening it and getting her to cling to him as he ravished her willing mouth. She was gripping his shoulders tightly and moaning into the kiss.

He pulled back and said, "good choice. I have a feeling that being alone together is dangerous." She blushed again.

He then held out his arm and asked, "will you escort me home, Miss Isabella?"

She nodded and took his arm. "Please tell me your family is home."

He gave her a smirk and said, "they are. You don't have to worry about your virtue."

"I'm more worried that I stopped caring about it during that kiss." He flushed with pride as she walked to the Salvatore mansion on his arm.

Damon, the vampire, leaned back in his chair and said, "so tell him."

Rosa looked at him questioningly and said, "don't you want to do something first?"

He scoffed. "Trusting him with your heart is way bigger than our secrets. If he fails us, it will be good to know."

"It would ruin things here!" she argued.

He rolled his eyes. "If your destiny is to be betrayed by a man, I will rip the whole fucking town apart."

Frank shifted uncomfortably, "how do I know he could do what he threatens?"

"It's not a threat," Damon said, staring at him coldly. "It is a promise. And I can because…" He then fully transformed into a vampire without dropping eye contact with Frank. He let his transformation drop and added, "and now you're partly in the know."

"Partly?" Frank asked, confused. "Rosa's a witch. I watched her do spells and you're a vampire. What more is there?"

"And what do you think I am?" Elena asked.

They watched it dawn on him that she was supernatural too. He cocked his head, looking at her and asked, "are wood nymphs a thing?"

She smiled at him kindly and shook her head. "No, but that's charming." She laughed when she heard Damon growl in response to what she said. "I'm the vampire that turned Damon."

Frank raised his eyebrows at her. "But he's so protective of you."

"He was raised to be a gentleman. And being the protector is very much a part of who he is. How much do you know about Mystic Falls?"

"A lot. It's good to know about that town. They're a bit…odd, but…" Then Frank paused. "Why did they burn that church in 1864?"

Elena smiled and replied, "they killed vampires and witches in that church. Emily, who was Rosa's mother, and I were smuggled out of the church before it burned."

"They know about vampires there?"

"Yes, and hunt them." Damon replied. Did you hear about Giuseppe Salvatore shooting his own son dead?"

"Yes. It's hard to have not heard that fact."

Damon smiled, "I did die, but I had vampire blood in my system."

Frank's eyes popped open wide. "You're that Damon Salvatore."

"Yup," he replied, popping the p.

"So he created one of the very things he hated!" Frank said laughing.

Rosa looked at him curiously. "How are you okay with all of this?!"

Frank scoffed, "you're really beautiful. I haven't heard enough crazy for your looks and personality to not make up for it. Also, you're overlooking my previous racism. I would assume that's a bigger hurdle for you."

She rolled her eyes, "oh yes, a man who gets over life long racism because of his attraction to me." She laughed, "how do I do it?"

Enzo arrived at the dock in New York and made his way through customs. He had an American passport. Well, actually, he had an American passport and an English, French, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, Norwegian (he loved the Fiords), and Canadian passport. He didn't have a German one, Elena had warned him it was a country going to war and he stayed away. He knew if he needed any others he had the perfect guy for that.

He picked up his bags and made his way to the train station. He purchased a ticket to Richmond, Virginia in first class and waited for the train. He was excited to see his friends again. He had a lot to tell them this time.

He frowned at his feet. He had been on his way back to Italy and didn't make it in time. Emily had died while he was gone and he hated that. He remembered the day he was rescued from that hell hole vividly. Only to later find out, in another timeline, he never got rescued. He owed Elena for saving him from so many years of torture.

He shifted and thought about how he knew she was keeping things from him. He wasn't guessing either. She told him she had secrets about his other life. She did make promises to eventually tell him that he was heading for epic love. One that she said rivaled hers and Damon's. That fact had shocked the hell out of him.
