The many fates of Arche (and Foresight)
hey here's another one-shot that people can used for story's. Though multiple in this case as each part can be used for whole different story's on their own. Thou some would be more similar then others as it's just ways i seen that could change what happens to Arche, this often effects her team and her sisters as well. In cannon for the light novels and anime ( not happened yet but it based on the light novels) her sisters are sold in to slavery and die of "overworking". In the web novel a cult gets them and they are given as gift's to Ainz who give them to Arche who was instead mind broken and given to Shalltear (Entoma gets Imina the half elf's voice instead) as a pet is later freed. And live with her sisters on the 6th floor neither of these will be include in this list go read the light novel and watch anime for the first fate and read the web novel for second.
Emperor Jircniv POV fate 1
the purge of the unless nobles had almost been complete all that needed to die have died now i just need to finish the decrees getting rid of the remaining dead weight. looking as I with the flick of my wrist remove noble families from power.
when I spot the Furt family in the pile.
where have i hear that name before I look over the information on the family the Sir and Madam of the house are not smart enough to do their job. three daughters no sons. one 13 years old and two twins 4-year olds
ahhh Arche Eeb Rile Furt that where I hear the name before gramps is her teacher besides pressuring me to marry Queen Draudillon of the dragon kingdom to get access to wild magic. Is the only person he talks about to me? Though I know not in that way the girl is a bit too young for my tastes anyway...
Wait didn't gramps say she had the same rare talent as himself and was already a 3rd tier caster likely to in time equal gramps in power and ability. Yes, maybe I can leave that family with it titles and just when the girl is older have her take over the family.
also, from what gramps current research show talents often run in families and even if neither of the twins will have any talent that is beneficial to the empire magical ability is known to run in bloodlines.
Aftermath fate 1
Arche and her sisters lived happily as nobles with Arche becoming the most powerful mage in the empire where her parents still lived but no longer had command of the family.
Foresight hear about a job for a count to investigate a unknown tomb the pay was massive but they decline the job it would have given them enough to retire but they had no major money issues and where close to that point anyway the risk was just to great especially for a small three person team.
the team retire to a small village in the country. where when the empire join the sorcerer kingdom Roberdyck got his wish to be able to heal for free. Imina and Hekkeran when on to have children and live a peaceful life.
Fluder Paradyne POV fate 2
the Emperor Jircniv had finished his purge of the nobility a while ago. i didn't think much of it at the time. however, i had recently got wind of the fact my star pupil Arche Eeb Rile Furt a young girl of only 13 years of age was thinking of dropping out of the academy.
That would not do not at all talent like that should be nurtured not only was she able to used 3rd tier magic at her young age the youngest of his disciples to do so. She also had the same rare talent as himself the All-Seeing Eye which allowed someone to see the flow of magic, the tier someone could use and finally the effects of magical items and potions at least once one learns how to interpret what they are seeing.
All this together means that she had the ability to equal or even surpass him at some point. As soon as he heard the rumours he checked to see if he could find out what he could do to keep such talent here. It wasn't hard at all to find out why she was about to drop out her parents had their titles stripped from them but had continue to act and spend like they were nobles.
Arche could not afford the tuition anymore but he was easily able to arrange to have that wavered. he just will have to take her as his personal apprentice... However, he knew that could not fix everything Arche loved her little sisters Ureirika and Kuuderika more than anything. And from where he had found out both of them as well as Arche herself could be counted as collateral.
That too can easily be dealt with. his position means that he could easily arrange to pay off the current amount with the money lenders knew that none of them can be touched or they face his and the Emperor wrath. He leaves any future loans to Arche parents alone not the family.
He just has to take responsibly for them. Ureirika and Kuuderika are only 5 years old. Not old enough to begin study into the abyss of magic. Still he had seen them when they visited Arche at the academy once they had strong magic for their young ages. likely talents of their own as they tend to run in bloodline not always but mostly.
Just like Wild magic it why he tried to get Jircniv to marry Queen Draudillon which would be very political beneficial for both. Draudillon is the queen of a failing nation. But the empire can easily save it if need be. But Jircniv remains stubborn in his dislike of her. Still using that he raised Jircniv and he likely reinstated the Furt family as nobles if he asked. Just making him responsible for them will be no problem.
With the plan set he when to see is young student to find her packing up her gear to leave
"Arche i hear your leaving " I said gently to my student
"yes, master Fluder unfortunately I can't afford the tuition any longer now that my family are no longer nobles" answered back my doll like student in a sad tone
"not necessarily young Arche i have hear of the situation you're in and have decided to help you are talented and I don't want to see that go to waste" i said firmly to my student

"I will talk to the emperor and your parents to have their current debt pay off and take responsibility for you and your sisters to keep you safe if your parent keeps borrowing then it be on them alone. I waverer the normal tuition costs for yourself arrange a stipend for you while you study and allow your sisters rooms in the academy then when their old enough start teaching them as well" i answered back to my shocked student
" wh... why would you do that for me master " Arche asked back shaken
"because you are my favourite pupil Arche and I believe you have great potential as long as you try your hardest in your study's you will be worth the trouble. so, what do you say Arche" and with that the offer was made I didn't have to wait long for the answer?

Arche and her sisters lived at the academy at the ministry of magic for then on as Fluder Paradyne students all three did learn from Fluder and become extremely powerful magic casters of the 7th tier all found to share the same talent for the all seeing eye helping to research and develop new magic and spells.
Arches parent kept borrowing money and where enslaved. Her father died in a mining accident just before slavery was banned by the vassal of the empire in to the sorcerer kingdom. Her mother lives to see freedom but die of a drug overdose. Caused by her time in slavery but she got her wish from that time. To not remember a thing.

i was preparing the report from the count about the unknown to them both the count and the worker team sacrifices. my lord the god of magic demanded be sent from the empire when a spot a name on one of the worker teams I reconsiders.
Arche Eeb Rile Furt. He could remember her a talent young girl who he was already going to see if he could find her. That would not do to waste such potential sending her to be killed with the other workers. He had wonder why she had left but it was not much of a guess work any longer he had heard of the financial issues her family was in.
he'd have to send a request for her worker group for a different job that mean they can't take this one. lucky the count had not sent out the invites yet.
what could he use as a job though? Then the though hit him he was in need of some undead for the undead labour program. capturing the undead alive and in secret was dangerous but not a death sentence like the one the count was arranging. with that he could offer a large amount for both the danger and secrecy needed as neither he or the Emperor wanted the temples to find out. say 120 gold for taking the job, and any extra equipment need to capture them provided and the insurance of silences and a certain amount for each living undead brought back depending on the strength of each undead to be negotiation before they depart.
That decided he send one of his disciples with the job offer and for them to meet him in the ministry of magic
Aftermath Fate 3
Forsight accepted the job offer from Fluder Paradyne and where unable to go with the other worker group to the great tomb of Nazarick saving their lifes.
the other member of Forsight gave up their cut for the job to Arche and brought back 63 selekton's 39 zombies of varices types. earning an extra 112 gold and 253 silver.
Imina and Hekkeran live in the capital taking part in the arena for many years and later having children.
Arche payed of her parent debt and then ran with her sisters they evenly when to live in the Northern Holy Kingdom joining Neia Baraja followers Arche becoming a teacher of magic in the group. which she taught to her sisters and other skilled in the arcane. Becoming something of a right hand to Neia and getting Ainz protection over herself and sisters though Neia
Roberdyck got his wish to be able to heal for free after the empire join the sorcerer kingdom, he lived it the rest of his days in a small village.
Ainz ooal Gown POV fate 4
I stood in front of the shocked workers. then asked the question needed to clear me of any guilty i have over their fates
"I would like to ask something why have you choose to go to these ruin's" I asked the worker looked a little shocked at the question and I continued" for most adventures there is a moral imperative to access each job request they receive i liked to know why you worker decide to take this request, what drives you"
"the amount of money" shoot back a worker from the team Dragon Hunt
"so, it come down to that. your being offered enough money to put you live on the line" i said back barely keeping my anger in check
"that correct we been offered a sum of money we would risk death to gain" ask the leader of Heavy Masher Gringham
"very well it is your right to make that choice. I see now I ask a truly worthless question forgive me" i replied my guilty gone. they will get what they deserve
"no problem Sir Momon. What you should be asking is what we want the gold for if you truly want to know what drive us. Not that many here would be willing to tell others such a thing thou" answer a member of the team Forsight who looked like an armoured priest " but there is no moral stance ageist this job from what my team could find this is a tomb a bit north of the katze plains. The area is known to house a number of ruins all filled with mindless undead the few that have had any intelligence behind them have house members of Zuranon controlling them at best which are a cult that want to kill everything. The only reason workers like us are being send instead of adventurers like you are that the mission is being funded from the empire to a tomb in the kingdom the only strange thing about this one is it has never been investigated before" the priest finish I can see his team nodding their head to that while the most of the rest of the worker shrug
"I see I'm guessing none of would be willing to say why then me then " I asked back to the workers he had pipe my interest i was a little disappointed that they all nod their heads i have to check to see if i can find out
"yes, when you run in this type of work even when like my team you avoid anything you may find distasteful letting others find out too much information about you is a bad idea as it could be used ageist you later on. most workers either have some kind of problem with the adventurer's guild or other reasons why they could not be an adventurer instead " answered Hekkeran the leader of foresight
I nod and we got on the way i got some of the shadow demons to listen to each of the groups and had reports forwarded to me on each group from any information that I could get from Nazarick and Fluder on the groups from what i could see I am glad i did.
Though only one group turn out to be good enough to spare all of the groups where the equal to mithril class adventurers.
Dragon Hunt was a normally careful group led by Parpatra who is old but orichalcum back in his prime... the rest of the team strengh comes from team work and how long Parpatra has kept the group together without it each member is only gold or platinum at best. they are willing to do any kind of job they are just careful of the risk. they have five members no talents Parpatra has invented a few spear based martial art. none really worth sparing.
Heavy Masher was led by Gringham the groups strength is mostly in its numbers with 14 members most of them gold ranks with a core 5 being platinum. Greenham is the 3rd in line of a farming family in the kingdom. they have had more members in the past. this group is willing to do anything if the prices is right and are much more willing to take risks then the other teams. no talents none worth sparing
Tenmu was led by Erya Uzruth from the Slane Theocracy he is really the only member of his team the other three are elf slaves which he treats as his person punching bags and harem. even though they are his magic supports. no talents though Erya is one of the most gifted martial artists alive compared with the Brain Unglaus and Gazef Stronoff. the elf slaves aren't reallying choosing to come. i will give them to Aura and Mare to act as maid' and as for Erya he is only good as an experiment.
and finally, Forsight apparently only one member will be getting any fund for this mission beside any bonuses it also unlike the rest their last planned job. Arche Eeb Rile Furt is a fallen noble from the empire whose parents could not accept this. And have borrowed a lot of money to keep living in the style they had been. Arche was apparently excluded from the decision to take the job as they all knew she had financial difficulty. In a normal worker group, she would have been kicked out the group. not good for her or her sisters as the loan her parents got include all family members as possible collateral. she is the only one to getting funds for this the other have all give up their share to help her with her debt. she apparently plans to take her sisters and run to another place to make sure they can't be used by her parents again.
Roberdyck Goltron is the priest that spoke up first he was apparently an adventurer but left to being unable to heal without the fee that being an adventurer demands
Termite is the fourth son of a merchant he wanted to be an adventurer but couldn't make it and became a worker instead he's the lover of the half elf Imina who got into being a worker because of the how humans view elf's with her being unable to find any other kind of work that she would be willing to do. only Arche has a talent the same as Fluder Paradyne her old teacher.

"First allow us to apologize master Ainz Ooal" the leader Hekkeran says
"Ainz Ooal Gown I am impressed as you mangots got further than the others i tell you what I'll fight you trying to kill all of you. if you make it interesting, I'll let you and your team leave here alive... well any that are still alive that is " I answered back

I look back to the exhausted worked team Forsight " if i ever find any of you acting ageist me again I will make you wish for death" I said taking off my ring that hid my magic power.
watching an Arche vomits and look at me in sheer terror i leave knowing that my order will be followed and that my action didn't result in two innocent little girls going to be enslaved because i was too rash or angry. of course, i did send shadow demons to keep watch over them.
Arche Eeb Rile Furt POV fate 5
fear gripped my heart. This is my fault the others would never have taken this job if not for me after all they are all turning their share to me to pay of my parents' debt
"Guys I'm sorry I'm why we're all here" I apologize
"what are you kidding me if the rest of us weren't just as greedy" answered back our leader
"no don't lie just to make me feel better you guy all decided to give up your share to me so i could pay of my parents debt" I shouted back

"I am very sorry for any displeasure our intrusion has caused you. if you might show us your mercy, I would gladly pay any price you ask i have plenty of gold to offer" continued our leader
"I am afraid your prospective is flawed after all if you where to find maggots in your food you wouldn't ask them what they have to offer you'd crush them dead on the spot all though in that case the maggots themselves are blameless. you on the other hand knew full well what you were doing" then it continues " you came here to satisfy your petty greed at least it seems so at first. If so that make you lower than a maggot tells me you have all given up you share of the loot to the small blonde girl tell me why and I may be inclined to be merciful" answered back the skeleton in what sounds like mildly interest.
Hekkeran looks to me with a somewhat sorry expression and I know what he is silently asking i nod my head

In retrospect we should have noticed earlier as she has not been able to upgraded her equipment while she has been with us. Unlike the rest of us. We just exclude her from the vote to take the job as her debt would compromise her judgement but really we were almost as badly compromised as would not leave her and her sisters to that fate with our share for this mission she could pay of the whole debt and take her sisters away without the money lenders coming after her. if we had not been willing to give up our share then her cut would have been enough to buy her time to get her sisters and run with them to somewhere else but she's our friend and well to help a friend in need is just common sense" Hekkeran answered back
"very well that is a reason i can understand. you all will face me in combat if you impress me enough all of you can live if not well it will be depended on how well you do and your treatment will vary as well but i guarantee at least one of you can go free. i will let you decide who now or later once we are done though if you choice now you have to impressed me more as i have to avoid killing that one I am a man of my word after all" the skeleton answered " i could do with a witness to the fate of the other worker for your emperor" he finished
Hekkeran, Roberdyck and Imina all look at each other and nod
" we have decided that Arche will be the one to go free even if rest of us don't she has the most to loss. The rest of us outside each other don't have anything or one that we would greatly miss or miss us where as Arche is the only one who can keep her sisters out of slavery" Hekkeran finishes

Hekkeran and Imina got to stay together and helped the Aura look after her pets while also being secretly investigated by demiurge as a breeding experiment after all he was looking at a hybrid half elf and a human thou unlike the others in use for that experiment he didn't have to force process along.

I just watch the little thief fly off at the urging of her comrades that can't be older than 15 years old. though only after giving over the money they were carrying and mentions that she had to get back to her little sisters
" I expect a more disgraceful response worthy of filthy thieves" i tell the three remaining workers
"she is our comrade" answers the priest
"That's right. weren't your comrades the same" added the half elf

"I have no mercy to give for thieves such as yourselves. However, i will make an exception for that girl" I answer back
Just before I could give the order for Shalltear to hunt the girl down and give her a painless death. I'm struck by a though first of what my guild mates would do. only Ulbert would have had killed her and even then, that is only a maybe especially the hints the other members of her team have been giving out. And then I think of everything my mother had to do to support me. They mention she had to go to her little sisters. And just before the fight she started apologizing for making them all come here. Letting her live and escape while showing her true fear... And will it will allow an experiment and guarantee she will never be able to act ageist us again.
"Shalltear teach that girl fear. her despair when you crush her hope of returning home will be her punishment. After that bring her here. she will witness the fates of her friends and the other workers" i said " after that she will get to leave here though not as she came here and be sent as a message and witness of what happens to those who invade the Great Tomb of Nazarick " I finish "you're lucky normally what you have done would only buy your friend a painless death as you will come to know death is a mercy that frees you from suffering in Nazarick. But in this case, I have need of a messenger to your Emperor about this little invasion"
Aftermatch fate 6
Arche was captured shortly after finding out that the sky she could see was fake and after being terrified into fainting.
she got to discover the fates of all the other workers which was made much worst at least for those that died as they were resurrected and given to other member of the tomb to be made to suffer for her to report that they could do that they also made use of healing magic heavily making it clear to Arche that it to prolong their usefulness and suffing as much as possible.
Hekkeran and Imina where used as nests by Gashokukochuuou's with Imina voice being taken for Entoma.
Roberdyck became a lab rat in the study of faith-based magics where his memory was to be changed constantly. Arche was told that it is the only reason he isn't suffering the same fate as the other workers.
After having witnessed this Ainz had Shalltear turn Arche into a vampire (he did this just to see if it was possible). Saying that this is part of her punishment to become what everyone one in her country and of her race hates a member of the undead.
He then had her taken with Aura and Mare to hand over the the Emperor. knowing the sire bond to Shalltear would never let her threaten Nazarick. he had her followed by shadow demons as he told the other members of Nazarick that the girl was an experiment that he like an eye kept on. He did however allow her to have the payment her team was given and the money her team gave her. saying it the only thing she will be able to see of them again.
Ainz Ooal Gown POV fate 7
I just settled into watch the show of how the worker would do ageist Nazarick when the group Forsight caught my attention
"this doesn't look right this is meant to be a ruin but it is in such good shape like it's being looked after. It can't be because any maintenance magic is in place as I would be able to see that with my talent" mention the little blonde girl "if this is really someone's home we don't want to invade it we have always tried to keep away from that kind of job in the past and with us looking to retire pissing off someone who could leave the kind of treasure we have found lying about so far could be really bad for us" their group like the others would soon be going into the tomb via the main entrance
"yeah I agree not finding any more treasure could hurt us a bit as we're not taking our normal cut. But the rest of us are fine as it is. This was mostly just one last adventure for the rest of us and helping out yourself with your parent debt issue. We can go check with Momon if we can just check for any secret ways in and help guard the camp. That way we're not invading someone's home in case someone is living here. Also, long as we get the pay for taking the job that be fine as it's enough to cover the debt even if their nothing in it for the rest of us" the Armoured Priest says with the duel swordsman and half elf ranger nodding
"yeah let's go. Being safe and make sure we all get out of here alive is more important even with a small pay cut we can chip in to cover it. Just make sure to get your little sisters and go after we get home your parents aren't going to stop borrowing" as they walk to towards darkness tent where pandora's actor is being Momon
So, it seems that this group is smarter than the others and though are here for money it seems to be to help the little blonde girl who couldn't be more then 17 from looks alone likely less unless the girl is a late bloomer and her little sisters from their parent's debt. A quick message to Pandora to accept their request. And another to the battle maids with a small change in plan to not show themselves and to only send up 6 of the old guard as a show of force. But for a group of their strength. Nothing they can't handle. I'll have to keep an eye on them of course. Maybe some shadow demons could be spared for it.

With Forsight getting the acceptances from Darkness to take the search around the outside and to just protect the camp with the adventures the group would be the only workers to survive the tomb. Dragon hunt who were going to ask to check the top for other ways in could not compete when Forsight was not asking for a cut and offered first.
Dragon Hunt would face Ainz in the arena and no mercy would be show not even the small mercy that Arche would have got on if not for Forsight quick wit and reluctance to do any of the dirtier jobs. Their most common job being to clear the Plain in prepare for the empire annual war with the Kingdom
