Overlord a slime in the works
Another oneshot there is not many that time I got reincarnated as a slime skip to the story if you want a suprise. Also, I notice that besides Shizue Izawa (Shizu) having black eyes and long black hair to Arche Eeb Rile Furt having short blonde and blue their faces are very similar and their personality as well with the difference being easily to see and explain (age difference. Having a demon/spirit of fire sharing their body leading them to be a danger to all those around them, having stupid parents that they have to save their little sisters from). It's a like different
Rimuru sigh it had been two thousand years since he came to this world and most of the friends, he had made are long since dead from old age as very few being in this world are truly immortal. Only Veldora who is alongside Milim when adventuring around the world and Diablo who had when back to hell are still alive. The Jura Tempest Federation had long since become the strongest nation in the world which most other nations being vessels or allies. Rimuru knew that the loss of Izawa had left a whole in his being but in the early day's it had been partly covered with growing his then small nation and with the friends he had made. Great Sage allows him to remember his whole life and reflecting on it just makes it even more clear.
All the magic he had learn and the ability he had stolen with his predator skill. And what he learned of magic since them made it clear. People will long for their soul mate and if they meet them, they are destined to get to together. But losing them leaves an empty space that can never be filled. For most that isn't too bad as they themselves normally died within a few years. But Rimuru as a Slime never ages even if he figures out how to be either male or female using mimic to be with his soulmate. It would not help easily as a slime he is immortal and it's not likely that even if he can find this soulmate that they would be either it's even less likely for them to be a slime as he is the only truly intelligent slime known in the world. Slime aren't very common either as they need a massive about of Magicules in an area to be born.
Still he was thinking about the ritual he learns 2 years ago that would send him to his soul mate while leaving a copy of himself behind to look after the Federation. At least it would now that he finished modifying it. The only thing left to do is to complete the ritual. Hopefully his soulmate Shizu or whatever her new name would be after being reborn would be a member an immortal race or possible be able to change them into one. After all it's likely they would be in another reality. If that the case maybe she could become a vampire if she's human even weak would not matter as he long ago learn what truly happens when naming a creature and could force it to strength any he wants. Not that be care at this point he is the strongest being in his world with only Veldora the other true dragons, the demon lord Milim and the arch demon Diablo being compared to her. This time he would find her quickly as he also modified the ritual to take him very close to her and show him a vision of him/her and give an idea of where they were till, they found them. That way he could make sure they were safe before getting to know them.
Everything was ready in his room. So, he quickly when their and filled the runes with magic activating the runes and then darkness fill his vision. the ritual did exactly as he wanted leaving a copy at home. However, Rimuru didn't fully understand just what he did. There is multiple reality's and even thou he would not be copied to everyone anywhere they were a copy of Shizu. And not one of his. He became that copy's soulmate at that time and not only was a copy left at his current reality. But besides himself their where copies of him send to each reality that there was a copy of Shizu soul's lucky for them the other parts of the ritual where working as well each would get a view of the one housing Izawa soul and land somewhere close by to them. Well close by meaning within a month's travel on the same planet.
Luckily for the original part of Rimuru he arrives in the same city as Shizu soul. Unlucky he underestimated the magic cost of copying himself so many times and when to sleep in the sewer he lands into for 4 days.
When Rimuru finally wakes he finds himself disgusted by where he is, quickly using magic to clean himself and his surrounding before making sure that he is hiding his magic both by pulling it in to himself like he did after the goblin's point out he was radiating magic and the mask he got from Shizu. As well he checks his magisteel katana finding it as fine
Next after getting the information from Sage that he been out for 4 days as well as reviewing the scene that he had seen of who his soul mate is in this world. Well it seems it from an anime manga from this first world. He also knows the name of Shizu in this world unfortunately it means that Shizu needs saving sometime soon as Arche Eeb Rile Furt what he saw was Arche and her team agreeing to take the Great Tomb of Nazarick job for Count Femel.
And that was 4 days ago I can feel Shiz... Arche moving away so it likely she already took the day and is on her way there. It unlikely I will be able to get her and her team to back out of the job if they're already heading to Nazarick. I could try to slip in as a member of Foresight but their no guarantee that they would accept as the team is disbanding after this job and none of the other members are getting any money. Ainz playing as Momon is unlikely to take me trying to get him to spare them especially in his disguise. If he tried while Ainz is hiding he likely just try to kill him. Which would get the whole of Nazarick to come down on him as he would be killing their god. And that if he even has the time. He thinks as he flying off toward the feeling of Arche.
He could stealthily follow them and then save them when they get into trouble. It takes 3 hours to catch up with her and he quickly found that he would not have had time to talk to Ainz anyway as they are all about to enter the tomb. Quickly he got close to Arche and spread out as mimicking her clock. Ready for when Arche gets into trouble maybe it would not be like the anime/manga but from what he could see so far, it's following it to a T. so being near or more accurately on the one he intends to save and keep alive is the easiest way to make sure.
While watching Arche and her team move though the tomb, he is impressed the little we see of them working their way through the tomb in the anime/manga massively undersell how strong, skilled and powerful they were. Thou he could see they already decide to leave and he was keeping mind of the way they came and using magic could hint the way to them. But it's too late he can already tell-tale the sighs of teleportation magic.
He can hear the team talking about how the area reminds them of the arena in the empire, now he has a choice he can either wait until Ainz has been pissed off by the team leader Hekkeran via his lie and save the team after they know there is no hope or he can appear before hand.
The second option is much better even after a few seconds though as he will be in a better mood so more likely to accept a deal of some kind. Because even though the whole tomb is unlikely to be able to stop him. He could not guarantee that Arche never mind the rest of Foresight would be able to survive him forcing his way out of the tomb.
"Guys I'm sorry I'm why we're all here" Arche apologize
"what are you kidding me if the rest of us weren't just as greedy" answered back Foresight leader
"that right we all decide to take on this job together" confirmed the priest

just before Hekkeran can continue a slime forms from a black cloud that seem to leek of and out of Arche clock go back to my human form and start clapping.
"well done I'm impressed your group got this far but be quiet little mortal the next thing you were going to say would have pissed the little skeleton with a magic ring hiding it's magical power from your young magic casters talent and even with him fighting as a warrior you could not win ageist him" Rimuru interrupts before facing the Overlord
"now you will be letting them go little player. Yes I know what you are and no neither you or your entire tomb could stop me killing everyone and everything in it but I will offer you a deal as I don't know if I could save them from everything on the way back to the surface 6 floors up though that be more merciful than what you had planned or giving them to your pet demon for his farm as 'sheep'." answered back the slime in a white mask to the shocked Ainz and Foresight
"how could I believe you alone could defeat this tomb and what could you possibly offer that be worth letting these thieves go more over why would you want to" the skeleton answered back with a flash of blue light and anger in his voice
"easy you and all others from Yggdrasil have a level cap of one hundred the same as the Dragons and their decedents, the undead like elder lich's and vampires the natural born or ritually made kind anyway and Godkin of this world and I have no such limit. By the way Godkin are the descendants of players like the Six Great Gods the humans here worship or the Eight Greed Kings. As for what I can offer information on this world would be the easiest and the most worthwhile to you would be who brainwash your little vampire Shalltear am in right as a bonus I will tell you why I want to save this group of workers when I let the rest meet the fate you had planned for those you tricked into coming here give you an item and not interfere with your plans as long as there is no genocide. Interested then swear on your name and your friendship with comrades" the slime answered back
Rimuru could see that the skeleton was thinking about it
"what makes you think that you not interfere with our plans would mean much when it's unlikely you could escape here as I can't see any great power from you. And what item is it that your offering? Answer and I will think of accepting your little deal" answered back the skeleton in interest
"my mask is why you can't sense anything even with your magic it is design to hid magical power and the strength of the wielder. As I said unlike you and the rest of your NPC minions, I don't have a level limit and am already out of your league and any of you I take out will in power me and unlike your little fight with a brain washed Shalltear. You will not be able to resurrect them if I devour them. And the item I'm willing to hand over will show you the soul mate of whoever touches it after all you would not like to kill the soul mates of you and your friend's precious children" the slime replied taking of the mask with one hand while a pulling out a sphere in the other. Arche vomits in the back group while looking at the Slime in wonder and terror while Ainz flash's blue. Rimuru returns the mask to his face
"very well hand over the item and give me the information in return I swear on the name of Ainz Ooal Gown that I will let these four thieves and yourselves leave here alive. Not have any of you hunt after leaving here and will not arrange any full scales genocides ageist any race or country." Ainz answered back with a small amount of anger in his voices as his maids return of the surface and enter the stands of the arena alongside the other guardians.
"Very well the ones who brainwashed Shalltear are the Black Scripture of the Slane Theocracy after she attacked them when they were heading toward the last know location of Catastrophe Dragon Lord in particle Lady Kaire. Who die from the wounds she got from Shalltear. Most member are of the same strength as your battle maids. But the Captain is level 75 and would wipe the floor with any of them and the extra seat who never leave the Theocracy is level 95 with divine level items she mostly protects the vaults of the six Gods items as the Dragon lords would consider them using her as an act of war ageist them. As for why I am saving this worker group on top of them having the best reason of the groups all of which just came for money besides the elf slaves of Tenmu who had no choice. Is what the little item I'm give to you showed me" the slime said as he throws the sphere to Ainz who caught it in one hand with Albedo showing in the picture after he catch's it and he caught the sight of little blonde girl of the group in front of him in it while the slime held it.
"Arche there the little blonde girls' parents are ex nobles who got the family into a massive amount of debt forcing Arche to drop out of Magic Acadamy to pay it off or risk herself and her little twin sisters being sold into slavery. However even using all the funds she earns as a worker. The debt is still increasing as her parent's waste money. She finally had enough and decide to take her sisters and run to settle down away from the Empire so they can't be used by their parents. But needed fund to buy time to run and start over after she does. After her team their found-out recently. They decide she could not vote on what jobs to take as her decide making would be compromised where most worker group would have thrown her out. But they took this job mainly to help her as they all decide that all pay for this job would go to her without telling her. This would hopefully clear the current debt and they could make it clear to the lenders that they would not be included in any future debts. As this is their last plan job before they retired. Saving them is mostly a gift to Arche their especially as from what I have seen they would all sacrifice themselves for her" finished the slime
"very well Shalltear open a gate to the surface. We're letting them go I'm a man of my word after all even to maggots" Ainz answers as he throws the sphere to his battle maids with the little robot girl with an eye patch catching it Neia Baraja showing up in the orb. As a gate to the surface opens up.
Rimuru as he watches Foresight appear in the camp and he follows think both about how he's going to talk to them and more. How to get Arche Immortal. Easiest way would be to have her turned into a vampire and the easiest way to arrange that will likely be for have Evileye turn her. Yes, that the plan. For that now just how to explain to Foresight and Arche what going on.
