He was walking through that castle after the fight. Loki hadn't said one word to anyone about what happened with the frost giants. He just came home and found himself in front of the door that held all of Asgard's precious power. He walked in the room and straight ahead was what he was looking for. Shiny, blue, and powerful casket. He slowly walked up to it and gulped nervously debating if he should grab it. He needed to find out. He needed to see for himself without commotion all around him. His skin had turned blue when that frost giant grabbed his arm. Maybe it was just a trick. The frost giants wanted him to think that Asgard had secrets. But it wasn't a trick. He grabbed onto the casket with a tight grip. His confusion and anger, he wanted the casket to break in his hands.

"Stop!"

Loki didn't move. "Am I cursed?"

"No."

"What am I?"

"You're my son."

He turned around, his skin had turned completely blue, the well-known symbols layered his face and neck. "What more than that?" He growled. He slowly, walked towards he All-Father, trying to keep his angry tears in, and the look of strength on his face. "The casket wasn't the only thing you took from the Jotunheim that day, was it?" The asscusation was clear in his voice. Just the thought that he had been taken from somewhere . . . the thought that Asgard wasn't his true home. They weren't his true family, were they? He now reached the bottom step and stared the All-Father in his eye. The man just stood there, his sudden demeanor changed and his exhaled.

"No," he said simply, "in the aftermath of the battle, I went into the temple and I found a baby. Small for a giant's offspring, abandoned and suffering, left to die. Laufey's son."

It struck him like he was stabbed with a sword right in the chest, "Laufey's son?" He blinked away tears and looked to the All-Father in shock.

"Yes."

"Why?" He breathed. "You were knee-deep in the Jotun blood. Why would you take me?" Take me, take me, take me. The words were almost unreal. The life he knew was a lie. All the years his father assured him he was born to be a king. He was meant for greatness, when really it was Thor who had all the greatness thrust upon him.

"You were an innocent child."

Loki shook his head in disbelieve. He knew the All-Father too well. The man was never one to take mercy on anyone, even a child. He could no longer hold back his tears. Why was he here? What did these people want with him? "No. You took me for a purpose. What was it?"

The All-Father's eyes darkened and narrowed.

"Tell me!!"

Loki let his anger out now, he'd had enough of the lies. "Tell me!"

"I thought we could unite our kingdoms one day, bring about an alliance; A permanent peace, though you. But those plans no longer matter."

Loki sniffled loud then exhaled in even more disbelieve. "So, I am no more than another stolen relic locked up here, until you might have use of me?"

The All-Father stared for a short moment and small, cruel smirk reached the left corner of his lip. "Yes."

Loki blinked stupefied, unable to move or speak, or even think clearly. "What?"

The All-Father suddenly slammed his staff once on the floor and Loki gasped when a small golden choker was placed around his neck.

"What are you doing?!" He sobbed.

"I can't have you running off. Guards!"

The doors opened and four gaurds marched in.

"Take Loki to his chambers, and make sure he stays there."

"Stop! You can't do this!" Loki tried to pull his arms away from the guard, but he realized that he couldn't harness his power. "What did you do?"

"Those ruins will strip you of any power you possess. You are confined to you room, you will not be let out, you will not get any visitors." The All-Father said as they all walked towards Loki's bedroom.

"You can't do this!"

"I can, and I will." Odin has as he pushed Loki into the room.

Loki could not catch himself and he fell onto his stomach. He turned around just in time to see Odin slam his staff once more in front of the door, then the man just stood there staring. Loki stood up, slowly, cautiously he reached his palm out and touched the orange forcefield covering the door. The was a small hum and he pulled his hand away.

"You can't keep me here forever."

"We'll see."
