Reconnecting.

Chaper 5. Meeting An Old Friend Again.

And that's how I got to where I am now. And with that Rory finished her speech. Everyone stood up and clapped their hands. She stepped of the stage and walked through the crowd, when suddenly she heard a voice.

"Reporter girl, that was some speech you gave." Finn told her while lifting her up from behind.

"What on earth are you doing here? And put me down Finny." Rory asked him with a laugh.
"Well I heard you were going to give a speech at this thing and I also heard Huntz was gonna be here so here I am." Finn told her while putting her down.

"Then you heard that I've had both dinner and breakfast with him?" Rory told him while hugging him.

"I did yes, how did that feel?" Finn asked her.

"It felt weird but things came out that I never thought would come out." Rory answered him.

"What things? If you don't mind me asking." Finn asked her.

"Umm.. We both found out that we both still have some feelings left for each other." Rory answered him.

"Are you kidding me? After all these years, you two never gave up for each other did you?" Finn asked her while opening the door and they walked out.

"Not exactly, to be honest I never completely got over him. Seeing him again, made all those old feelings resurface again.."Rory answered him honestly.

"Umm Huntz called me earlier and told me what happened during breakfast."Finn confessed to her.

"What did he say?" Rory asked him surprised.

"He told me about what he confessed to you and what was said during the breakfast." Finn answered her.

"Oh? Did he tell you what I said?" Rory asked him curiously.

"Yes he did and I knew Brad wasn't the right for you. Rory, Logan never got over you he hated himself for proposing to you.." Finn told her while scratching his head.

"What? He hated himself for proposing to me..?" Rory thought to herself.

"Reporter Girl? You in there?" Finn asked her.

"Yeah, I just thought of something." Rory answered him.

"Oh? Tell meee." Finn begged her.

"I was thinking of asking you out to lunch." Rory asked him while withholding the truth.

"Well I'm not saying no to lunch with my favorite reporter girl." Finn answered her while grabbing a cab.

They got into the cab and after 15 minutes they arrived outside the restaurant they had decided on. They got out of the cab and walked towards the entrance. Finn opened the door for Rory.

"Always a gentleman." Rory told him.

"My lovely girlfriend thinks that to." Finn told her while sitting down at the table.

"How is Rosemary by the way? Is she here in London with you?" Rory asked him while also sitting down at the table.

"She's great, and yes she did follow me to London." Finn answered her while starting to look at the menu.

"Do you still talk to Colin?" Rory asked him while looking at her menu.

"Not as much as we used to, but we talk." Colin answered her.

The waitress walked over to the table and took their orders, Finn ordered a stake with fries and a Coca Cola, Rory ordered salmon with pommes and bearnaise sauce and Coca Cola.
About 10 minutes later got their food served.

"I've missed you Finny, we haven't seen each other for a while." Rory confessed to him.

"I've missed you to reporter girl." Finn told him.

They began eating and continued talking for about an 1,5 hours later.

"I really enjoyed this love, we should do this again soon." Finn told her while kissing her on the cheek.

"Yes, we should." Rory told him while grabbing her purse.

After saying goodbye to each other, Rory grabbed a cab and went back to where the building where the conference was being hold. She walked into the building and checked her schedule for where what lectures, she would watch now. She walked into the room and sat down.

After about 3 hours later, she had watched three different lectures. She decided to get back to the hotel, take a shower and just relax.
She walked out from the building and grabbed a cab and went back to her hotel.
After 10 minutes she arrived outside the hotel, she walked into the building and went up to her floor. Once in her room, she decided to call Logan. She dialed his number and waited for him to answer.

Voice mail ~ "This is Logan, I can't answer your call right now, please leave your name and phone number and I'll call you as soon as I can."

"Hey, it's me, I was wondering if we could talk about this morning. Don't get me wrong, I'm actually relieved to tell you the things I've been holding on to for so long." I saw a whole new side of you, you have no idea how much it meant to me.I've missed you so much, to be honest as angry as I was at you, I never really stopped loving you. Please call me back."

And with that Rory ended the call and walked into the bathroom, turned on the shower, she then got unchanged and walked into the shower. She couldn't help but wonder why Logan hadn't answered her call. "What if something was wrong..?" "No, Rory don't get ahead of yourself, he's probably just busy." Rory thought to herself. After a while she got out of the shower and wrapped her towel around her. She walked back out to the bedroom, she looked at her phone to see if Logan had answered her. But she had no such luck. But she had gotten two missed calls from both Finn and Colin.

They had both left voicemails. She listened to Colin's first.

"Hey Ror, I know it's been a while since we talked, but have you heard any from Logan? I'm actually starting to get worried. Anyway call me back when you get this."
"Could actually something be wrong with Logan?" Rory thought panicked.
She then listened to Finn's.

"Hey love, have you heard anything from Logan? I haven't heard from him since last night. I can't get a hold of him, please call me back love." Finn ended his message.

Is something wrong with Logan? Why isn't he answering his phone?
