Reconnecting.
Chaper 6. Worring About You.
She decided to call Finn back. She dialed his number and waited for him to pick up.
"Hey love, have you heard from him?" Finn asked her when he picked up.
"No, I'm actually getting really worried Finny." Rory answered him.
"Do you think we should go over to his place?" Finn asked her.
"I think that might be the best, can you pick me up? I haven't been at his place." Rory answered him.
"I'll be at your place in 15 minutes, we'll go straight to his place from yours." Finn told her.
"Great, see you then." Rory told him while hanging up the phone.
She looked at the watch, 19.30. She grabbed her phone again and texted Logan's number.
"Logan? Are you okey? You're scaring me. Please call me" ~ Rory.
30 minutes later Finn and Rory arrived outside Logan's flat. Finn unlocked the door, with the spare key Logan had given him for emergencies. They walked into the flat and called out for him.
"Logan? You in here?" Rory called out desperately.
"You check in the bedroom and I'll check in the living room." Finn told her while walking into the living room.
Rory quickly walked into the bedroom with a very bad feeling. There in the bed laid, Logan under the covers. She rushed to the bed and put her hand on his forehead.
"Finn! He's in here and he's burning up." Rory shouted after him.
Seconds later Finn came running into the bedroom.
"Is he conscious?" Finn asked her worried.
"I don't think so." Rory answered him panicked.
The truth was Rory had deeper feelings for Logan then she would admit.
"Logan? Please wake up." Rory begged him while shaking him.
"What? Rory? What's going on?" Logan asked confused.
"You tell me, we found you like this." Rory asked him while helping him sit up.
"I don't know, I think I have a bad case of the flue." Logan answered her while leaning his head against the bed frame.
"I think you have it, you're burning up." Rory told him.
"You guys can leave now, I'm fine." Logan told them.
"You are not fine, you haven't answered your phone, both Rory, Colin and me have been calling you like crazy." Finn told him.
"I just haven't heard my phone ringing.." Logan lied.
"Me and Rory are staying and I'm calling Colin too, to letting him know that you're okey." Finn told him while grabbing his phone and calling Colin.
Finn left the room and called Colin, Rory stayed in the bedroom. She sat down on the bed.
"You should have called me Logan, I've been worried sick about you." Rory told him honestly while grabbing his hand.
"I didn't want to be a burden Rory." Logan told her honestly.
"You're not a burden Logan, you know what we talked about. I will never consider you as a burden." Rory told him honestly.
Logan made a face, Rory grabbed the bucket and she had just given it to him before she started to puke. She drew her hand through his hair. A few minutes later Finn came back into the bedroom with a glass of water and an advil. He handed it to Rory, whom gave it to Logan as soon as he stopped puking.
"Colin sends his best and he's relieved that we got a hold of you." Finn told them while sitting down on the bed.
"Can you go out and get some orange juice and some medicine?" Rory asked Finn.
"Of course love, I'll be back as soon as I can." Finn told her while walking out from the flat.
After Finn had left, Rory looked at Logan concerned.
"Logan? I'm have to take fever temperature on you, just to make sure it's not to high." Rory told him while standing up for the bed.
"It's in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom." Logan told her.
Rory walked into the bathroom and started looking for the fever thermostat. She finally found it and walked back into the bedroom.
"I found it, this will just take a minute." Rory told him while putting the thermostat in his ear.
A few minutes later the thermostat piped and she took it out.
"You have a fever of 101.2." Rory told him while placing the thermostat on the bedside table and then sat down on the bed.
"I'm not feeling to well Ace." Logan told her honestly.
"You should rest Logan, I'll be here." Rory told him while helping him lay down again.
"Thanks ace." Logan thanked her while slowly falling asleep again.
Rory drew her hand through his hair and kissed him on the cheek. She walked out from the the bedroom and out to the living room. She started to looked around in Logan's flat, she'd never thought they would meet again. Rory couldn't help but wonder why Logan hadn't called her, she would have been there in a heart beat. But maybe he thought she wouldn't have come. She messaged Finn.
"You on your way back?" ~ Rory.
"I'll be there soon love, is Logan asleep?" Finn.
"Yeah, he has a fever of 101.2." ~ Rory.
"Oh man, do you want me to bring you some food?"Finn.
"Yes please, some Chinese?" ~ Rory.
"Chinese it is, see you soon."Finn.
She laid down her phone, walked towards the bedroom and quietly opened the door to check on Logan.
"That's why he didn't look so good at breakfast this morning.." She thought to herself.
20 minutes later Finn came back with orange juice and medicine for Logan and food for him and Rory. They sat down on the couch.
"Why didn't he call me Finn? I could have been here." Rory asked him.
"I don't know why he didn't call you, I guess he's still as stubborn as always." Finn answered her while opening the Chinese box.
"I should have seen something was wrong with him this morning when I meet up with him. I didn't even see him at the conference.." Rory told him while blaming herself.
"You couldn't have done anything, but I know he's relieved you're here now love." Finn told her.
"Yeah.. Btw aren't Rosemary wondering where you are?" Rory asked him.
"Nah I told her I would stay here for a while." Finn answered her.
After two hours, Rory had told Finn to go home to his girlfriend and she promised to call him if she needed any help. They said goodbye to each other and with that Finn left.
Rory started to clean up after her and Finn, when she suddenly heard a noise coming from the bedroom.
How will this end? How will Logan deal with Rory taking care of him after all these years?
Their love just never die does it?
