Reconnecting.
Chaper 8.
A couple of hours later Rory was awoken by a sound coming from Logan's room. She quickly got up from the bed and walked into Logan's room. When she got into the room, she saw Logan shifting and turning around in the bed, she walked over to him and placed her hand on his forehead. He feels hot, she gently shook Logan awake.
"Huh Rory?" Logan asked confused.
"Did you have a bad dream?" Rory asked him.
"Yeah, I hate being sick Rory.." Logan answered her honestly.
"I know sweetie, I think it's time to take your temperature again and to give you the medicine the doctor prescribed for you." Rory told him while placing the thermostat in his ear again.
A few seconds later the thermostat piped. Rory took it out and it read 101.9. She sighed with relief when she saw it had gone down.
"The fever has finally gone down." Rory told him while grabbing the medicine bottle the doctor had prescribed.
"I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't been here Ace." Logan told her honestly.
Ace.. God she had missed that name, that name he had given her long before they had started dating. That name meant so much to her.
"It's nothing Logan, I would have gone crazy worrying about you if I hadn't been here." Rory told him while handing him the medicine.
"I honestly thought I'd never see you again after we broke up." Logan told her while swallowing the pill.
"Neither did I Logan, I really missed you." Rory told him while running her hand through his hair.
"God I have missed him." Rory thought to herself.
"I assume Finn told you that I hated myself for proposing to you?" Logan asked her while looking down at his hands.
"Yes he did, I've been meaning to ask you about that, why did you hate yourself for proposing to me?" Rory asked him while starting to get tears in her eyes.
"Because I didn't want to lose you and I lost you by I proposing to you.." Logan told her while also starting to get tears in his eyes.
"I wanted to marry you, but I just wasn't ready. I didn't want to lose you either Logan, I wanted us to continue like we had." Rory told him while starting to cry.
Logan sat up in the bed and hugged Rory.
"I never stopped loving you Logan.." Rory confessed to him.
"I never stopped loving you either Ace." Logan told her while looking her in the eyes.
"You should try and get some more sleep sweetie." Rory told him while touching his cheek.
"Can you lay here with me?" Logan asked her while laying back down on the bed.
Rory didn't answer, instead she got up from the bed and walked around to the other side. She laid down beside Logan and grabbed his hand. A few minutes later Logan had fallen asleep and Rory laid there in the bed thinking.
She couldn't believe that she laid there in the bed, Logan's bed, beside him. After all these years. After about an hour, Rory finally fell asleep.
The next morning, Rory was awoken by Logan throwing up. She quickly rolled out of the bed and walked over to Logan's side. She decided to message Finn.
"Hey Finny, can you come over to Logan and watch him, so I can go to the hotel and grab my stuff?" ~ Rory.
"Good morning to you too love, of course I can. Do you want me to come over now?" ~ Finn.
"Sure, if you're free?" ~ Rory.
"Of course love, I'll be there in 15 minutes." ~Finn.
"Thanks Finn, really appreciate it." ~ Rory.
"It nothing, you shouldn't have to be the only one taking care of Logan." ~ Finn.
"See you soon then? And pleease bring coffee, I can't figure out Logan's coffee machine." ~ Rory.
"The coffee and I will be there in 25 minutes now." ~ Finn.
"Thanks a lot Finny." ~ Rory.
A few minutes later Logan had stopped throwing up. He put down the bucket again and looked at Rory.
"Finn will be here in 25 minutes, I'm going to the hotel to grab my things. I think I'm going to be staying here for a few more days." Rory told him while still down on the bed.
"You should check out from the hotel and stay here instead." Logan told her while actually hoping she would say yes.
"You sure Logan? I don't have to" Rory asked him.
"I'm insisting on it Ace." Logan answered her while grabbing her hand.
"Then I'm checking out from the hotel and staying here instead." Rory told him.
25 minutes later Finn knocked on the door, Rory walked towards the door and opened it.
" Thanks Finn for coming so quickly." Rory told him while giving him a hug.
"I don't mind love and here's your coffee." Finn told her while handing her the coffee.
" Logan asked me to check out from the hotel and stay here instead." Rory told him while drinking from the coffee.
" You think that's a good idea?" Finn asked her.
" Actually I think it's worth a try." Rory answered him.
They walked back into the bedroom where Logan was now sitting up on the bed. " He really doesn't look good." Rory thought to herself.
" Hey Huntz, how are you feeling?" Finn asked Logan.
" To be honest I feel like crap." Logan answered him honestly.
" I heard you convinced Rory here to check out of the hotel." Finn told him while sitting down on the bed.
" I just thought it would be for the best so she doesn't have to run back and forward to the hotel." Logan told Finn while taking a sip from his glass.
" I should get going, I'll be back as soon as possible." Rory told them while kissing Logan on his cheek.
Logan's face turned red like a tomato when she kissed him on his cheek. To be honest honest it felt normal. Rory said goodbye by to the guys, walked out from the flat and when she got downstairs, she managed to grab a cab. She went straight from Logan's place to the hotel. Once at the hotel, she packed her things.
When she had finally finished packing, she sat down on the bed and started thinking about what she had done before she left Logan's place. " I actually kissed him on the cheek.. I think me and Logan need to talk about where we should go from here." Rory thought to herself.
A few minutes later she walked out from the hotel room, went downstairs and checked out from the hotel, she then walked out from the the hotel, grabbed another cab and went back to Logan's place.
