Reconnecting.
Chaper 13. Going Home.
They walked through the airport, checked in their luggage. They reached the gate and showed their passports. After they had shower their passports and walked onto the plane.
"Ready to go back home Ace?" Logan asked her while grabbing her hand.
"Yeah I'm looking forward t seeing my parents again. " Rory answered him.
"I'm just nervous about meeting your parents again, I haven't seen them for a couple of years." Logan told her honestly.
"It's gonna be fine babe, they are happy for us." Rory told him while sitting down on the seat.
"Yeah you're probably right Ace." Logan told her while sitting down beside her.
"So what are we going to do Logan? Do you want to do a long distance relationship or move in together?" Rory asked him.
"There is no way I'm doing a long distance relationship. Do you want to move in together?" Logan answered her.
"I would really love to move in with you, but I don't know what to do with work?" Rory told him.
"I could probably run the business from anywhere, I could fly into London and if there would be a crisis." Logan told her.
"Would you want to live in Chicago?" Rory asked him surprised.
"Yes as long as I can be with you." Logan answered her.
"Well let's not decide anything until we've been at my parents? We can think it over for a while and in that time I could probably work from your place?" Rory asked him.
"You sure Ace? I'd love that Ace, but are you sure?" Logan answered her.
"Yes I'm sure, we can give it some time and in the meantime I could stay at your place and if I need to get to the office I'll just fly over here." Rory told him.
"I have a better idea why don't we stay a week at my place then a week at your place? We can always fly back and forth until we have decided?" Logan asked her.
"That sounds like an idea, in that way we don't need to do a long distance relationship." Rory answered him while kissing him on the cheek.
One hour and thirty-seven minutes later they landed in HartFort, Connecticut.
"I've missed this place, it feels great being back. "Rory told him while getting up from her seat and grabbed her carry on.
"I haven't been home for so long, we have to meet up with Honor and Josh." Logan told her.
"I haven't seen Honor in years." Rory said.
They walked of the plane and walked towards the luggage pick up. They finally saw their luggage, grabbed it and walked out from the airport. They walked out from the airport, grabbed a cab, handed of the luggage to the driver whom put it in the trunk. Logan and Rory got into the cab.
"Stars Hollow please." Logan told the cab driver.
Thirty minutes later they arrived outside Rory's childhood home. As soon as the cab stopped Rory ran out of the cab and towards the house.
"Ace slow down." Logan called after her.
"Slow down and you die." Rory called back.
Logan just laughed at her, god had he missed her. He unloaded the luggage, paid the driver and followed after Rory into the house.
"Mom! I'm here!" Rory called trough out the house.
"Finally Rory! Took you long enough." Lorelai told her while coming down the stairs.
"Yeah I know, it took longer than we thought. Where's dad?" Rory asked her while hugging her.
"He's at work, he'll be back soon." Lorelai answered her.
"It feels great being back here mom, I've missed you." Rory told her while taking of her coat.
"I've missed you to kiddo." Lorelai told her.
"Thanks for the help btw Ace."Logan told her with a laugh and carrying in the luggage.
"I'm sorry babe, I'm just excited to see my mom." Rory told him while helping him taking a bag from him.
"Where should I put the luggage down?" Logan asked them.
"You can put it in my old bedroom." Rory answered him.
Logan walked into Rory's old bedroom, put the luggage down then walked back into the kitchen.
"Logan, how are you?" Lorelai asked him while giving him a hug.
"I'm great Lorelai, you?" Logan answered her.
"I'm okey, I can't tell you how happy I am that you and Rory are back together." Lorelai told him honestly.
"No one is more happy than me." Logan told her.
"Oh well that's not true babe, I'm as happy as you." Rory told him while wrapping her arms around his waist.
"Okey maybe you're happy to." Logan told her sarcastically.
"Well what do you guys want to do before Chris comes back?" Lorelai asked them.
"Maybe walk around town? Btw where's Gigi?" Rory asked her.
"Gigi is with her mom, and walking around town sounds great." Lorelai answered her.
"Will Gigi be here tonight?" Rory asked Lorelai.
"I think so yes. Shall we go?" Lorelai answered her.
"Let's go, I can't to see Stars Hollow again." Logan told them while grabbing Rory's hand.
They walked out from the house and started walking into town. Ten minutes later they walked into Luke's. They sat down at the counter.
"Service sure sucks around here." Rory said sarcastically.
"If this isn't good enough then leave." Luke said while turning around.
"Only kidding Luke." Rory told him laughing.
"Rory! How are you kid?" Luke asked her while walking around the counter and hugged her.
"I'm great Luke, you remember Logan right?" Rory answered him while hugging him.
"Of course, hello Logan how are ya?"Luke asked him while shaking his hand.
"I'm great, you?" Logan answered him.
"Same as always, what brings you two here?" Luke asked Rory and Logan.
"We're visiting mom and dad for a few days." Rory answered him.
"So you two are back together?" Luke asked them while placing three cups with coffee in front of them.
"Yes we are since three weeks." Logan answered him while placing his arm around Rory's waist.
"Well congrats to you both."Luke told them.
About an hour and fifteen minutes later Lorelai got a text from Christopher.
"Hey hon, I'm finished at work. Will be home in twenty minutes. Are Rory and Logan there yet?" ~ Christopher.
"Hey sweetie, they got here about two hours ago, can't wait for you to come home." ~ Lorelai.
"Okey great, love you and see you soon." ~ Christopher.
"Love you too." ~ Lorelai.
Lorelai put her phone down.
"Chris will be home in twenty minutes." Lorelai told them.
"Then we should get back, thanks Luke see you around." Rory told him while hugging him.
"See you kid." Luke told her.
They walked out from Luke's and began walking home again.
How will the rest of their stay go? Will they visit Emily & Richard? Will they visit Honor & Josh?
