Reconnecting.
Chapter 20. To Old Friends And To Reconnecting Again. Part 2.
Later that evening Finn and Rosemary had offered Rory and Logan to stay for the night which they had agreed to do.
"It will take hours before you get back home, you guys can just stay in the guest bedroom for tonight." Finn offered them.
"That sound great, in that way we don't have to go all the way back to Stars Hollow tonight." Rory told him thankfully.
"So how about a movie before going to bed?" Rosemary asked them.
"A movie sounds great." Logan answered her.
"You decide the movie and I'll go get some snacks." Finn suggested to them while walking into the kitchen.
Shortly after Finn had left, Rory had decided to follow him.
"I'm just gonna get a glass of water." Rory told them.
"Okey ace." Logan said.
Rory walked out from the living room and into the kitchen where Finn was standing by the microwave.
"Finn, you sure you okey?" Rory asked him while sitting down by the kitchen island.
"You scared me love." Finn told her while turning around and avoiding the question.
"Sorry and you didn't answer my question." Rory told him.
"Yeah I'm okey love, I guess. I hadn't really thought about Colin for a while." Finn answered her honestly.
"Haven't you thought about talking to him again? Or tried to figure everything out?" Rory asked him.
"I've thought about it, but I just don't really know how. He totally just cut me out when he got tired of taking care of Logan. He claimed he had grown out of our friendship." Finn answered her honestly while taking out the popcorn from the microwave.
"You want my advice?" Rory asked him.
"Please love, I could really use your advice." Finn answered her while pouring the popcorns in a bowl.
"I think that you should try and reach out to Colin and try and solve things." Rory suggested to him.
"I don't think he really wants to hear from me, and even if he would, I don't he would answer me." Finn answered her.
"How is it going in there?" Rosemary called from the living room.
"We're coming." Finn called back.
"Just consider what I've told you okey?" Rory asked him.
"I will love." Finn answered her honestly.
Finn and Rory walked back into the living room carrying soda and popcorn.
"Have you guys decided what move to see?" Finn asked Logan and Rosemary.
"Yes we have and we're watching "A Walk To Remember." Rosemary answered him while moving closer to Finn once he sat down.
"What were you two talking about in the kitchen?" Logan whispered to Rory.
"I'll tell you later." Rory whispered back.
When the movie had ended, they all decided to call it a night and go to bed.
Rory and Logan were shown the guest room by Finn.
"So this is it, simple but elegant." Finn told them while opening the door to the guest bedroom.
"Wow it's beautiful." Rory said while walking into the room.
"There is a change of cloths in the closet, a pair of pajamas."Finn told them.
"Thanks again man." Logan thanked him.
"I'll see you two tomorrow." Finn told them.
After Finn had left, Logan turned to Rory.
"So tell me Ace, what were you and Finn talking about in the kitchen earlier?" Logan asked her while getting undressed.
"You know about what happened between Finn and Colin right?" Rory answered him while getting into the bed.
"Not really, why?" Logan asked her while also getting into the bed.
"Well as Rosemary told me, Colin got tired of taking care of you when you got back to your old self." Rory started to tell him.
"I didn't know that." Logan said.
"According to Finn and Rosemary, Colin said that he grew out of their friendship and he didn't want anything from them. Apparently Colin and Steph moved to Germany and Finn have hardly heard anything from them since." Rory told him.
"I had no idea that happened, Colin and I talk from time to time and he haven't mentioned anything about this." Logan told her.
"Maybe I should contact Stephanie and ask her what's really going on." Rory told him.
"Yeah maybe." Logan told her.
After a while Rory and Logan fell asleep.
Meanwhile in Rosemary and Finn's bedroom.
"Babe, you okey?" Rosemary asked Finn.
"Yeah I guess, the whole Colin situation is really bothering me." Finn answered her honestly.
"Maybe you should try and contact Colin?" Rosemary asked him while placing her hands on Finn's shoulders.
"Funny that's is exactly what Ror said earlier." Finn answered her.
"Well me and Rory have always been clever." Rosemary said while laughing.
The next morning.
Rory woke up before Logan, so she gently got up from the bed and wrapped one of the guest robes. Then she walked out from the bedroom and towards the kitchen where she found Finn standing by the coffee machine.
"Seems like I'm not the only one not sleeping." Rory told him while walking over to him.
"Yeah, the conversion we had last night, have really been bothering me." Finn told her honestly.
"I can understand that, believe me." Rory told him.
"I've been thinking if I should reach out to Colin and deal with this." Finn told her while pouring the coffee into two cups.
"That can be good for you both, to deal with this and maybe try and resolve it." Rory told him honestly.
"I was actually thinking of asking Logan to help me with this, I feel like we all need some closure." Finn suggested to her.
"I think that is a great idea, maybe you can become the three LBD boys that I love so much again." Rory told him while smiling.
"So you mean you loved us that time we interrupted your collage class?" Finn asked her while starting to laugh.
"Omg, I was so mad at you all three for doing that, I even called Logan a buttface miscreant." Rory told him while laughing more.
Suddenly both Rosemary and Logan entered the kitchen, wondering why Finn and Rory were laughing so much.
"What are you guys laughing at this early?" Rosemary asked them while walking over to Finn.
"Well Finn here kindly reminded we of that time that Logan,Colin and Finn crashed one of my collage glasses by Logan and Colin confessing their love for me and beginning to fight so in comes Finn dressed in a police uniform and screaming "Damnit Gilmore, Give them back their balls." Rory answered her while bending down in laughter.
"Omg, you were pissed at us three, well mostly me." Logan told her.
"Well she returned the favor by having Richard pranking you instead." Finn told him while laughing more.
Later that day, they all said goodbye to each other, they had promised to keep more in touch considering this Colin/Finn thing.
• Next chapter will feature Colin and Stephanie.
• Logan and Rory's last day in Stars Hollow before leaving for Chicago again and then to London where they will spend their first 6 months together.
• Will Finn and Colin figure things out and become Rory's favorite LBD boys again?
