Reconnecting.
Chapter 21. Last Day & Reconnecting.
4,5 hours after they had left Finn and Rosemary's place, they finally arrived outside the house in Stars Hollow.
Today was their last whole day in Stars Hollow before they would leave for Chicago, where they would pack down Rory's things and they fly on to London.
"Finally home again, don't get me wrong I had fun at Finn and Rosemary's but it's nice being back." Logan told her while walking into the house.
"Yeah it's almost 14.30 and I just want to enjoy our last day here." Rory told him while walking into the kitchen.
Once they got into the kitchen, they saw a note on the table. It was from Lorelai.
"Hey guys, we're just running some errands in town. We will be back around 16.00 and then we will spend the evening together." ~ Mom.
"Seems like we're alone for a while, what do you want to do?" Rory asked him while putting the note back down.
"Well I have a few ideas." Logan answered her while walking over to her.
"I'm listening." Rory told him while smiling.
Logan wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her passionately. They slowly made their way into the bedroom and laid down on the bed.
Logan started kissing Rory down from her mouth down the neck and further down. Rory removed Logan's shirt by pulling it over his head and then Logan took of Rory's shirt.
Suddenly they were interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Who can that be?" Rory wondered a little irritated while putting her shirt back on.
"Too be continued." Logan told her while quickly kissing her.
Rory walked out from the bedroom and towards the front door, she opened the door and to her surprise she saw a man she hadn't seen in years.
"Can I come in reporter girl?" The man asked.
"Umm." Rory answered stunned.
"Babe, who's that?" Logan asked her while walking towards the door.
"Hello Huntz, how are you?" The man asked.
"Colin, what in the world are you doing here?" Logan asked him surprised.
"We need to talk." Colin told him.
Rory showed Colin inside, then they all walked into the kitchen and began talking.
"I guess you've heard about me and Finn right?" Colin asked them.
"We have, why on earth didn't you tell me?" Logan answered him.
"Everything got complicated, I needed time for myself so I told Finn that I grew out of the friendship. So me and Steph had talked about moving away so we finally decided to move to Germany." Colin explained.
"Finn said you were tired of taking care of Logan every single night. And you just dropped out of touch with everyone except Logan." Rory told him while crossing her arms.
"As I said everything just got was to much to handle. I wasn't feeling good, I just wasn't myself anymore. Stephanie gave me an ultimatum either we'd move away or she'd break up with me."Colin explained to them.
"Why didn't you just be honest with us? We could have helped you, sure I wasn't in the best place myself but still Colin." Logan told him while standing up and leaning against the chair.
"I know that, I just didn't want to seem weak and take all the attention away from you. I mean you had just ended your relationship with the woman you loved." Colin told him.
"Yes I had, but I behaved like that for at least three years." Logan told him while looking at Rory.
"I think that you should call Finn and figure things out." Rory told Colin while looking at him.
"I bet he won't even take my call, we ended things pretty bad." Colin told her while sighing.
"Fine, then I'll call him and I'll force him to meet you." Rory told him while grabbing her phone and dialed Finn.
"Hello love, miss me already?" Finn asked her.
"Haha very funny, actually I need a favor." Rory answered him.
"Oh? I'm intrigued." Finn told her.
"Well can you and Rosemary possibly meet us tomorrow before we leave for Chicago? There is something that I need you to do." Rory told him while looking at both Logan and Colin.
"Sure, what time tomorrow?" Finn asked her.
"Let's say around 10.30 at the restaurant by the airport."Rory answered him.
"Okey, 10.30 outside the horseshoe restaurant by the airport in New York." Finn told her.
"I'll see you then Finny." Rory told him while ending the call.
She hung up the phone, placed it on the table and looked at Colin and Logan.
"Finn and Rosemary will meet us tomorrow, so we can figure all of this out." Rory told them while standing up from the chair.
The next morning.
Rory and Logan said goodbye to Lorelai and Christopher. Rory promised Lorelai to call her directly after they had landed.
"You ready ace?" Logan asked her while grabbing their luggage.
"I'm ready to get all this between Finn and Colin sorted out."Rory answered him while hugging her mom.
They walked out from house and towards the car. As soon as they got into the car, Rory grabbed her phone and texted Finn.
"We're on our way now. Are you sure you can do this?" ~ Rory.
"I'm sure I can do this, it's just going to be weird." ~ Finn.
"Logan, myself, Rosemary will be there with you."~ Rory.
"Thanks love, I really appreciate it."~ Finn.
About 2,5 hours later Rory and Logan parked outside the airport restaurant.
"You get the luggage and I'll walk inside to see if the others is here already." Rory asked Logan while getting out of the car.
"Sure ace, see you inside." Logan answered her.
As Rory walked into the restaurant, she directly saw Finn and Rosemary waiting by the counter.
"Hey you guys." Rory told them while walking over to them.
"Hey love, where's Huntz?" Finn asked her while hugging her.
"He's bringing in the luggage." Rory answered him.
"Are you looking forward to going back to Chicago and then London?" Rosemary asked her while hugging her.
"Actually it's going to be great, but in the same time a little weird." Rory answered her.
"You haven't seen Colin and Steph yet?" Rory asked them.
"No not yet." Finn answered her while sitting down.
As Logan was about to open the door, he heard a familiar voice.
"Well if it isn't Logan Huntzberger." The familiar voice said.
He turned around and to his surprise, there stood Stephanie.
"Well hello there Stephanie, it's been a few years. How are you?" Logan asked her while putting the luggage down and hugged her.
"I'm great, where's Rory?" Stephanie asked him.
"She's inside, where's Colin?" Logan answered her.
"He's right here." Colin announced while walking up behind them.
After a few minutes of catching up, Colin, Stephanie and Logan walked into the restaurant.
"Hey guys, are you ready to figure all of this out?" Rory asked them.
"As ready as I'll ever be." Both Finn and Colin said at the same time.
Will Finn and Colin solve things? Will it be their reconciliation mean the start of the life and death brigade again.
Sorry for taking so long to update, I've just been dealing with a lot lately.
