Reconnecting.
Chapter 23. London Again.
They had spent a couple of days in Chicago, just so Rory would be able to pack down her stuff and get ready for London. She had also rented out the apartment for the first six months that they would be in London.
After they had finished at Rory's place, they had spent a last night in Chicago before leaving for London.
"This is so weird, not spending every day here in Chicago but in London." Rory told Logan while drinking from her wine glass.
"I know and it's going to be strange to have you in London with me."Logan told her while kissing her on cheek.
"But it's going to be amazing. I never thought this would happen after we broke up."Rory told him honestly.
"Neither did I, but I know I couldn't be happier to have you in my life again."Logan told her honestly.
They stayed up until the sun had gone down and after that they decided to get some sleep.
"Btw what time is our flight tomorrow?"Logan asked her while getting into the bed.
"Around 10.30 I think. We'll send the moving boxes with the moving company and they will deliver it to London."Rory answered him with a yawn.
"You tired?" Logan asked her while moving closer to her and putting his arm around her.
"Yeah, this last couple of weeks have been amazing but really exhausting."Rory answered him while putting her head on his shoulder.
The next morning.
This was the day, they were finally moving back in together for the first time in years. It would take some time for the to get adjusted but in the end, they love each other and neither Logan or Rory wanted to have a long distance relationship again.
"You ready to go ace?"Logan asked her while grabbing both his and her suitcases.
"I'm ready, I'm just double checking so I haven't forgotten anything." Rory answered him.
"This is going to be great." Logan told him while kissing her on the lips.
They left the apartment and went downstairs to the car. Logan put the luggage in the trunk and then he got into the car. 25 minutes later they arrived at the airstrip.
"Babe? What is this?" Rory asked him.
"We're taking my plane instead and no arguing. Because I want to spend every single moment alone with you."Logan answered her while kissing her on cheek.
"Well I can't argue with that, now can I?" Rory told him while smiling.
They walked onto the jet and 15 minutes later they were of to London.
"So what is the first thing you want to do when we land in London?" Logan asked her while opening a bottle of wine.
"Actually I just want to go home and just be the two of us alone." Rory answered him.
"But we're alone now?" Logan told her with a smile.
"Indeed we are, and no one to interrupt."Rory told him while putting down her glass.
Rory stood up and grabbed Logan's hand. They then walked further back in the plane.
"I've missed this." Logan told her while begging kissing her.
"The last time we were interrupted. Not this time."Rory told him while removing his shirt.
6,5 hours later they landed in London, they got of the plane.
"Welcome to London again ace." Logan told her while kissing her on her cheek.
"Well thank you." Rory told him while smiling.
They walked over to the car, that was waiting for them.
" , I hope your trip was good." The driver greeted them.
"Grant, the trip was wonderful." Logan answered the driver.
"I'm glad to hear, straight to the apartment?"Grant asked.
"Yes, and by the way this is my girlfriend Rory Gilmore." Logan answered.
"It's a pleasure ." Grant said while opening the car door.
Rory and Logan got into the car. Just after they had gotten in, Rory placed her head on Logan's shoulder. 25 minutes later they arrived outside the apartment building.
"Ace, we're here." Logan whispered into her ear.
"Oh, I've must have fallen asleep." Rory said while rubbing her eyes.
"Yeah, you did. Logan told her while kissing her on her forehead.
They got out from the car, grabbed their luggage and walked into the building. Once they were in the elevator, Rory asked Logan.
"Do you think the boys are getting along?" She asked him.
"Actually yes, it will just take some time for them to get back to normal again."Logan answered her while pushing the button to their floor.
"Yeah, I'm just a little concerned about both Finn and Colin. But Finn mostly." Rory told him honestly.
"I know how you feel ace, I'm worried about them both."Logan told her while stepping out from the elevator.
"Finn was the one I talked to the most to during our breakup."Rory told him while grabbing his hand.
Logan unlocked the door and walked into the apartment.
"Home sweet home." Logan told her while kissing her on her mouth.
"To be honest, this feels strange."Rory told him while removing her shoes.
"I know, but we're together and that's the only thing that really matters to me right now." Logan told her.
"I love you."Rory told him while kissing him on his mouth.
"I love you too and I'll fix you a key." Logan told her.
"Great, I think I'm going to take a shower." Rory told him while walking towards the master bedroom.
"Well do you mind if I join you?" Logan asked her while smiling.
"I don't mind at all." Rory answered him.
They walked into the master bathroom, Logan turned on the water while Rory got undressed.
"I was thinking that tomorrow I should go into the office and I'm wondering if my lovely girlfriend might join me?" Logan asked her while getting into the shower.
"I'd love to and maybe I can get some work done at your office." Rory answered him.
"This weekend I will have to show you some of my favorite places here in London." Logan told her.
So maybe not exactly their first week but it's just the beginning and I also wanted you guys to follow them on their journey to London.
