Reconnecting.
Chapter 28. Two Weeks Later.
Two weeks later Mitchum had been discharged from the hospital. Mitchum had gotten strict orders from the doctor to retire from the company and focus on his health.
Mitchum had filed for divorce from Shira, whom had not taken the news well.
Rory and Logan had decided to stay in Hartford, so that they could take care of Mitchum.
Logan and Rory was doing some work in the Mitchum's home study.
"Babe, have you seen my glasses?"Logan asked Rory.
"I think I saw them on the nightstand in the bedroom."Rory answered him while typing on the computer.
"Have you seen dad btw?"Logan asked her.
"I think he's out on the patio."Rory answered him.
"We should talk later, we have to figure out everything about London."Logan told her while sitting down.
"We could always bring Mitchum with us to London?Rory suggested while putting her computer down.
"I couldn't ask for you to do that Rory, he's my father."Logan told her honestly.
"Well you aren't asking me because I'm suggesting that we bring him back with us.I think it would do him great to get away from here."Rory told him while standing up and walking over to him and placed her hands on his shoulders.
"I love you so much Ace."Logan told her while kissing her.
"I love you too Logan and I think we can at least ask him."Rory told him.
They decided to walk out to the patio and talk to Mitchum. When they walked out to the patio, they saw Mitchum sitting on one of the sun chairs.
"Mitchum,are you okey?"Rory asked him while grabbing a glass,poured water into it and gave it to Mitchum.
"I'm just tired that's all, Shira called earlier and wanted to meet me."Mitchum answered her while grabbing the glass.
"I hope you said no to meeting her, I don't think you could handle that dad."Logan told Mitchum honestly.
"I said no, and you're right Logan."Mitchum told him honestly.
"We have something to run by you Mitchum."Rory told Mitchum while sitting down.
"Oh, I'm intrigued."Mitchum said.
"We were wondering if you wanted to come back to London with think it would it would be got for you dad."Logan told Mitchum.
"I would love that, I just can't impose on you like that."Mitchum told them.
"You wouldn't be imposing on us Mitchum, we really think it would be a really good thing for you."Rory told Mitchum honesty while looking at Mitchum.
"If you insist, I wouldn't mind getting out of here."Mitchum told them.
"Then it's settled, we could leave in a couple of a days?"Logan suggested to them.
"That sounds like a plan, you will stay with us at the apartment."Rory told Mitchum while grabbing Logan's hand.
Rory was helping Mitchum pack when her phone rang.
"I'll be right back Mitchum."Rory told Mitchum while answering the call.
"Thanks for getting back to me Finny."Rory answered the phone.
"No problem love, what's up?"Finn asked her.
"I was wondering if we could maybe meet up before we get back to London."Rory answered him.
"I'd love too, when are you leaving?"Finn asked her.
"On Sunday, and Mitchum is coming with us to London."Rory answered him.
"What? The dark lord is coming with you?"Finn asked her surprised.
"Yes he is, these last few weeks has been different. Mitchum has apologized for everything that has happened the last years."Rory answered him.
"Well I'm glad that everything has worked out and that Mitchum has finally come to his senses."Finn told her honestly.
"Yeah I'm glad everything is settled between us."Rory said.
"Should we meet up on Friday? I'll call the gang."Finn told her.
"I'll talk to Logan and we'll go from there? Deal?"Rory suggested to him.
"That's a deal, I will talk to the gang."Finn told her.
"I'll talk to you later Finny."Rory told him while ending the call.
Rory walked back into the room and saw Mitchum sitting on the bed.
"Are you all right Mitchum?"Rory asked Mitchum while walking over to him.
"I'm just out of breath, other wise I'm fine."Mitchum answered her honestly.
"Are you sure?"Rory asked him.
"I'm sure Rory."Mitchum answered her honestly.
"I'll be right back, I'm just gonna go get you a glass of water."Rory told her while walking out from the bedroom.
She walked downstairs, took a glass and poured water into it. She grabbed her phone out from her pocket and messaged Logan.
"Can you meet me in the kitchen?"~Rory.
"I'll be right in."~Logan.
Three minutes later,Logan walked into the kitchen.
"What's up sweetie?"Logan asked her while walking up to her and kissed her on the cheek.
"Two things. I talked to Finn and we discussed the old gang meeting up before we go back to London."Rory answered him.
"That sounds like a great idea, and the second thing?"Logan told her while leaning against the counter.
"It's your dad, I left him alone for a few minutes and when I got back, he was sitting on the bed. He claimed he was out of breath, I'm actually concerned about him."Rory told him honestly.
"I'm glad he's coming back with us, I'm really worried about him too."Logan told her honestly while grabbing her hand.
"Logan, how are you doing with all this?"Rory asked him while touching his cheek.
"I'm worried about him ace, I don't know how to handle all of this."Logan answered her honestly.
"You know that you can always talk to me Logan, I'm always here for you and I'm proud of you for being here for your father."Rory told him while kissing him on his mouth.
"I know ace, I wouldn't have made it through these past weeks with out you."Logan told her.
"Love you, we should be going back up stairs to Mitchum again."Rory told him while walking out from the kitchen.
They walked back upstairs, walked into the bedroom and saw Mitchum sitting on the bed. He didn't look great, Rory and Logan both rushed over to the bed.
"Mitchum are you okey? You look very pale."Rory told him concerned while handing him the glass.
"I'm not really feeling well."Mitchum answered her while grabbing the glass.
"Your shaking dad, where are your medications?"Logan asked him while grabbing Mitchum's hand and took his pulse.
"In the drawer."Mitchum answered him.
Rory quickly walked over to the drawer, opened it and got out Mitchum's medicine.
"Here Mitchum."Rory told him while handing him the medicine.
"Thank you Rory."Mitchum thanked her.
15 minutes later, Mitchum stopped shaking. Rory made him lay down and rest while her and Logan finished packing.
"I love you so much ace."Logan whispered in her ear.
Next chapter will feature Colin, Stephanie, Finn, Rosemary.
Shira will also make an appearance again.
