Chapter 33. A Reunion & A Question.
About a month later, Rory had been talking with Finn and she thought it would be time to begin planning the LDB event. She had invited Finn, Rosemary, Colin and Stephanie to London so that they could surprise Logan.
As they were both working in the home office on this particular day, Rory asked Logan.
"Have you talked to Colin or Finn lately?"She asked Logan.
"Not in a while, why do you ask?"Logan answered her just as the door bell rang.
"I'm just asking, can you get that?"Rory asked him.
Logan walked over to the door and opened it. And there stood Finn,Rosemary, Colin, Stephanie and Robert.
"Well hello there Huntz, it's been a while."Finn greeted him.
"What in the world are you guys doing here?"Logan asked them surprised.
"Well your girlfriend thought it would be time to begin planning our famous life and death brigade event."Rosemary answered him while hugging Logan.
"And if you ask me, I thin it's about time we begin planning it."Colin told them while kissing Rory on her cheek.
"Well I thought that too, I haven't been to one of these since Logan and I broke up."Rory told them while grabbing Logan's hand.
They walked further into the apartment and sat down in the kitchen at the kitchen island.
"I can't believe you guys flew all the way here to London."Logan told them honestly.
"Well I think none of us, wanted to say no to this little occasion. Besides it's been like what three months since we last saw each other."Steph told Logan.
"The months just fly by, we've been pretty busy out here."Rory said while looking at Logan.
"That reminds me, how is Mitchum doing?"Robert asked Logan and Rory.
"He's doing better, I think moving him away from Hartford and mom, was the best thing for him."Logan answered him.
"The doctors says that he really has to relax or he is in the risk of having another heart attack."Rory added.
"How has things been going by having him here?"Colin asked Logan.
"He's been settling in great, it was though at the beginning but its better now."Logan answered him.
Fifteen minutes later they had begun the planning.
"So where and when should we do our famous LDB event?"Rosemary asked them while writing down on her notepad.
"I was thinking either Costa Rica or Las Vegas?"Finn suggested.
"I'm honestly not in the mood for Costa Rica."Rory said while suddenly grabbing Logan's hand.
"Bad memories for both of us."Logan told the others while looking at his Ace.
"Right the accident of 2007, sorry love."Finn apologized to her.
"It's fine Finny, but Costa Rica is completely out of the question."Rory told Finn.
"We understand, so Las Vegas instead?"Stephanie suggested.
"Las Vegas it is, if everyone's okey with it?"Logan asked the others.
"So Las Vegas it is."The others agreed.
"When should we do it?"Colin asked them.
"Next month maybe?"Rosemary suggested.
"Let's see it's April the 13th so May 11th and go all throughout the weekend?"Finn suggested.
"May 11th, sounds like a plan."Logan said.
A while later, they all decided to go out for lunch.
"Mitchum, do you want to join us for lunch?"Finn asked Mitchum.
"I'd love to, I just don't want to be in the way."Mitchum answered.
"You will not be in the way Mitchum, we would all love if you joined us."Rosemary told him.
After Mitchum agreed to join them for lunch, they left the apartment and walked towards Rory and Logan's favorite restaurant cafe viva. Logan walked up to the waitress.
"How may I help you sir?"The waitress asked.
"My name is Logan Huntzberger and I have a reservation for 7."Logan answered the waitress.
"Right this way ."The waitress said while showing them to their table.
After they had sat down at the table, they all began ordering food and drinks.
"This feels just like old times."Finn told them while drinking from his wine glass.
"Yes it does, in a way I never thought I would be sitting here with all of you. A specially not you Ace."Logan told them while grabbing Rory's hand.
"Neither did I Logan, but here we are all gathered here."Rory said.
"Actually I have something I'd like to ask you Ace."Logan said while standing up from his chair.
"Oh?"Rory looked at him nervously.
"My Rory and my Ace, from the first day I meet you at Yale I knew you were special. The way you looked at me, your laughter, your smile. At your grandparents wedding renewal, where we had our first kiss. When you kissed me I knew I was gonna fall in love with you. And boy did I fell in love, I fell in love hard. You always took care of me, you supported me. I never thought that I would get a second chance of having you in my life again, and once I had you had in my life again I knew I never wanted to let you go again. Not only will you be my partner in business, but I also hoping you will become my partner in marriage. Rory Leigh Gilmore, will you do the honor of becoming my wife?"Logan asked while opening the ring box.
"Of course I will marry you."Rory answered him while crying.
"I love you Ace."Logan told her while putting the ring on her finger.
"I love you too master of commander."Rory told him while kissing him on his mouth.
Logan got up from the floor, grabbed Rory's hands and got her of the chair and spun her around.
"Congratulations you two, I'm glad you will become my daughter in-law."Mitchum told Rory while her on the cheek.
"Thank you Mitchum, it means a lot coming from you."Rory thanked him.
"To the future Mr and ."Finn, Colin,Rosemary, Stephanie and Mitchum toasted.
So Rory and Logan are now engaged to be married.
Sorry for taking soo long to update, been real busy with school, but finally an update.
