Chapter 34. Blowing of Steam, & News.
It had now been 3 weeks since Logan had proposed to his Ace and neither he or Rory could be more thrilled to be engaged. But now it was time to begin preparing and packing for the famous life & death bridge event.
"Ace, where is my black sunglasses?"Logan asked Rory while looking through his luggage.
"I have them right here, I borrowed them last night remember?"Rory answered him while handing him the sunglasses.
"I guess I just have a lot on my mind."Logan told her truthfully.
"You wanna tell me about it? After all I am your fiancé."Rory asked him while looking at him with concern.
"It's just this whole LDB event, is giving me some strange feelings. I really never liked going to these things after Costa Rica, considering how things ended there."Logan answered her while sitting down on the bed.
"Believe me I know how much affect the Costa Rica accident had on you. But this time I'm with you and I will not let either of you boys do anything like that again."Rory told him comforting.
"I love you so much ace."Logan told her.
"Well believe it or not I actually love you too."Rory told him while leaning towards him and giving him a kiss on his mouth.
"I'm glad I have you in my life again ace."Logan told her while kissing her on her cheek.
"I'm glad to becuase not having you in my life it just felt wrong. Like something was missing" Rory told him honestly.
Two and a half hours later Rory and Logan left for the airport. Honor had volunteered to meet them at the airport and to take care of Mitchum during the time Rory and Logan would be gone.
When they arrived at the airport, Honor was waiting with Finn, Rosemary, Stephanie and Colin.
"Finally you guys got here, finally we can start our trip."Finn told Rory and Logan.
"Yes finally."Rory told them while hugging Finn.
They walked onto the plane and got settled, Rory sat down beside Stephanie and Rosemary.
"What's up with Logan?"Stephanie asked Rory.
"Yeah, I was wondering that to. He looks a little distracted."Rosemary added.
"I honestly don't know, the last couple of days he has just been different. He keeps forgetting things, I'm actually getting worried."Rory answered them.
"Maybe the stress of worrying about Mitchum?"Rosemary asked.
"It might be, I think this little getaway might be just what Logan needs."Rory answered.
Two and a half hours later they arrived in Las Vegas. They walked out of the plane and straight towards where the limousine was waiting. They got into the limousine, the boys had already on the plane ride begun drinking and Logan was drinking more than the others.
"Mate, maybe you should calm down? We haven't even gotten to the hotel and not even started."Finn suggested to Logan.
"Hey, get of my back okey? I'm tired of being mister does everything right."Logan shot back.
Rory couldn't help but wonder what was going on with Logan, they both had been looking forward to this for so long. And they don't even get of the plane before he starts drinking.
"You okey love?"Finn asked her.
"No, I am worried about him."Rory answered him while looking over at Logan whom was pouring another glass of champagne.
15 minutes later they arrived at the hotel, checked in and walked towards the elevators.
"I'm gonna hit the bar."Logan announced.
"Oh Logan.."Rory sighed.
"What Rory? I'm on vacation."Logan told her while walking to the bar.
"This is not working, I need to get to my room and relax."Rory told the others.
"We are coming with you."Rosemary and Stephanie told Rory.
"And we will stay with Huntz."Finn told Rory reassuringly.
Five minutes later the three girls walked into Rory and Logans hotel room. Just as they walked into the room, Rory put her hand in front of her mouth and ran towards the bathroom. Rosemary and Stephanie followed her concerned.
"Rory? Are you okey?"Stephanie asked her while knocking on the door.
"I'll be out soon."Rory answered.
A few minutes later Rory walked out of the bathroom.
"I'm okey, I'm pregnant.."Rory told the others while crying.
"Congratulations Ror, but does Logan know?"Stephanie asked while hugging her.
"No, he doesn't. I only found out two days before this trip. And if he knew I think he would not act this way."Rory answered her.
"You need to tell him Rory, it might affect the way he is acting."Rosemary told her.
"I will tell him as soon as he sobers up."Rory said.
Two hours later Stephanie, Rosemary and Rory had fixed everything for the days to come. Rory really tried to focus on what they were doing but her mind kept slipping to Logan. She had been in constant contact with Finn and Colin.
"I should go down and check on him."Rory said.
"Maybe you shouldn't, the boys will bring him up soon and he is kind of drunk by now."Rosemary told Rory.
Fifteen minutes later the door opened and in came Logan whom was leaning on both Finn and Colin.
"Leave him on the bed."Rory asked them.
"Will do love."Finn answered her.
Finn and Colin dropped Logan on the bed, then walked back to the girls.
"Love, did Logan tell you about how he has been feeling?"Finn asked Rory.
"No he hasn't, he has not been talking to me so much about how he has been feeling."Rory answered him while tearing up.
"We all know that Logan has always had a hard time to open up to people about how he is feeling."Rosemary told them.
"I know, but I'm not people, I'm his fiancé and mother of his child."Rory told them.
"WAIT WHAT? Are you pregnant?"Both Finn and Colin asked at the same time.
"Ssh, I haven't had a chance to tell Logan yes I am pregnant."Rory answered them while placing her hand on her stomach.
"Congratulations love."Finn told her while kissing her on the cheek.
The next morning. Logan woke up, feeling absolutely awful. He roled over to see Rory standing in a robe, holding an aspirin and water.
"How are we feeling today?"Rory asked him while sitting down on the bed.
"Awful, Ace I'm really sorry about last night. I just felt I had to blow of some steam."Logan answered her while grabbing the glass and the aspirin.
"I know you had to, but drinking is not always the answer. You should have talked to me."Rory told him while tearing up.
"Rory, what's wrong? I swear I won't do it again."Logan told her while trying to comfort her.
"You have to swear to always talk to me about anything, I am here for you. No actually we are here for you."Rory answered him while drying her tears.
"We? What do you mean we?"Logan asked her confused.
"Well a couple of days ago I had an doctors appointment because I wasn't feeling well."Rory answered him while seeing how panicked he got.
"What's wrong Rory? Please tell me you're okey."Logan asked her in panic.
"I am more than fine, we both are. Logan, I'm pregnant."Rory answered him while grabbing his hand.
"I'm gonna be a father? Oh Ace, now I feel even more guilty for last night."Logan told her sadly.
"Don't apologize, because right now everything that matters is our little bean."Rory told him while grabbing his hand and placing it on her stomach.
"I love you and our little bean."Logan told her while leaning in for a kiss.
"We love you too daddy."Rory told him while also leaning in.
