The next day...

The little Dennis was all alone in his room playing and having fun with his toys pretending he was playing Batman.

While playing with his toys, Dennis heard a knock on the door. Both Dracula and Martha slowly opened the door to check on Dennis.

MARTHA: Dennis? Are you awake, sweetie?

DENNIS: Hi, Papa Drac! Hi, Grandma!

A happy Dennis ran to his grandparents and gave them a big hug.

DRACULA: Hello, my little Dennisovich. What are you doing in here, my little devil dog?

DENNIS: I'm just playing with my toys, Papa Drac. Do you and Grandma want to play with me?

MARTHA: We'd love to, sweetheart. But your Papa Drac and I want tell you something exciting first!

DENNIS: Oh? What is it, Papa Drac?

DRACULA: You see, Dennisovich... I was thinking about the four of us flying together tonight. Just you, me, Grandma, and mommy.

DENNIS: Yay! That sounds like fun, Papa Drac!

MARTHA: I'm glad you're happy about it, sweetheart. In the meantime, how me and Papa Drac play with you just like what you want. What are you playing anyway?

DENNIS: I'm playing Batman. You can be Robin and Papa Drac can be the Penguin.

Dennis handed some toys to Dracula and Martha so that they could play with him. Dracula secretly rolled his eyes a little jealous towards Johnny/Batman. Martha gently held her hand on Dracula's shoulder.

DRACULA: (*scoffs)... really? Batman again?

MARTHA: (*whisper) Come on, honey. Just let Dennis have some fun. I mean look how cute and happy he is.

Dracula and Martha glanced at their cute little Dennis playing his toy car on the floor.

DENNIS: To the Batmobile, Robin! Cebause I'm Batman! Vroom... vroom...

Dracula and Martha smiled at seeing how happy Dennis is as they decided to play along with him.

Later that night...

The night quickly came when the 4 Draculas took a fly outside the hotel. Johnny entered the room only to find Mavis, who looked very excited.

JOHNNY: (*chuckle) Someone looks excited.

MAVIS: I'm sure am! It's such a beautiful night to take a fly with Dennis, my Dad, and my Mom. Besides, I also wanted to spend more time with mom, just mother and daughter. You sure you'll be okay us being gone for awhile?

JOHNNY: Honey, you don't have to worry about me. You guys deserve this night to relax and I want you guys to have some fun together. Just promise me that you and Dennis would be careful.

MAVIS: We will. Mom and dad are with us so we'd be just fine.

Mavis and Johnny shared an embrace as he planted a kiss on her forehead. Their moment ended shortly when Dracula, Martha and Dennis entered the room.

DENNIS: Hi, mommy! Hi, daddy!

MAVIS: Hello, sweetie.

JOHNNY: Hey, little dude.

Dennis ran to his parents and hugged them.

MARTHA: Are you ready to go, Mavis?

MAVIS: I am, mom. Just saying goodbye to Johnny.

Mavis' goodbye to Johnny was a deep long passionate kiss. Dennis stick his tongue out in disgust while Martha awed in affection. Dracula's overprotective instincts jumped in as he pulled Mavis away from Johnny.

DRACULA: Okay, Johnny. It's time for us to leave. We'll see you later, bye-bye.

Johnny frowned a little when he got separated from Mavis, who pouted at her father. Martha just glared at Dracula from ruining her daughter and son-in-law's moment.

MARTHA: Drac!

MAVIS: Daddy! You're so rude!

DRACULA: I'm sorry... I couldn't help it. She's still our cute little girl.

Dracula chuckled as he playfully pinched Mavis' cheek. Dennis tightly hugged Johnny as a goodbye. Johnny smiled and hugged his son back.

DENNIS: Bye, Daddy!

JOHNNY: I'll see you later, little dude. You, Mommy, Papa Drac, and Grandma have fun tonight, okay?

MARTHA: We will, Johnny. Me and Drac will watch over Mavis and Dennis.

After saying goodbyes to the human, Dracula, Mavis, Martha and Dennis changed into their bat forms and flew out through the window.

While his family are away, Johnny decided to take this opportunity to go to his 'night-shift work'.

Back at the Batcave...

Johnny was wearing his armored Batsuit except his cowl while trying to examine how the Enigma Conundrum and Riddler Trophy works.

Alfred went down to the Batcave and brought some refreshments for the both of them and placed it on a desk.

ALFRED: Going somewhere, Johnathan?

JOHNNY: I'm going after Riddler, Alfred. His sick games are endangering innocent lives to get to me. Both humans and monsters.

ALFRED: You're becoming quite a celebrity. Now why is he writing to you?

JOHNNY: He's just insane, Al. That's why I have to stop him.

ALFRED: Well before you even go out there and find Riddler, any idea on what that machinery.

JOHNNY: I'm not so sure yet...

Johnny continued working on the puzzle as he combined the two machine. The machinery box as it revealed the riddle.

RIDDLER: One won't see trouble and one tells no lies, ask the third if he hides the prize. Do you know who the third is, Batman?

ALFRED: That sounds... familiar. I think I've heard this one before.

JOHNNY: See no trouble and tells no lies... Each of these senses are implying about doing an evil deed. It has a similar reference to the Japanese pictorial maxim, The Three Wise Monkeys. It was made by the Japanese sculptor named Hidari Jingoro. Embodying the proverbial principle 'see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil'.

ALFRED: If that's the answer that the riddle is referring to, which among the three it is?

JOHNNY: Only way to find out.

Batman/Johnny rearranged the letters on the conundrum to the words 'Hear No Evil' entering his answer for the riddle. The riddler had another message recorder for Batman/Johnny as a congratulations.

RIDDLER: Well done, Dark Knight. You did it! Like a child learning for the first time, I feel like I should reward this miracle and give you the location of another soon-to-be dead hostage, who is desperately crying out for help. Come ALONE or the hostage dies.

ALFRED: You solved it!

JOHNNY: And he gave me the location of the next hostage.

In a small screen on the conundrum box was tracking the location of the next hostage within the human village. Batman/Johnny puts both the box and trophy back inside his utility belt now that he has the location of the next hostage.

Somewhere in the Human Village...

On the rooftop of an abandoned building were 6 of Riddler's goons guarding the area when Batman/Johnny shows up. The rooftop was only entrance in the building, to the hostage.

GOON 1: Have you guys heard what happened to Jimmy?

GOON 2: Yeah. Penguin fed him to his big-ass shark pet. Really nasty.

GOON 3: Jimmy's an idiot and he deserves to be eaten. He should've thought twice before he switched sides from the Joker to Penguin's. You know those two don't see eye-to-eye.

GOON 1: That's why we've got Riddler. He's smarter than every criminal in this town.

GOON 4: So do really think the Bat is coming?

GOON 3: Definitely. Have you seen what the Riddler got for him downstairs? It's one crazy room down there, man. How the hell do you think he managed to build those things?

GOON 4: Don't know, man. All we need to know is to keep our eyes for the bat.

GOON 5: Pff... I ain't afraid of Batman or the kid he hangs out with. He's nothing. He's just a freak in a Halloween costume.

GOON 4: Yeah we'll see about that.

On the other tall building near the goons was Batman/Johnny menacingly standing on the rooftop and silently watching at the goons.

Batman/Johnny glides down at the other rooftop and performed a glide kick at one of the goons as they all unexpected startled in horror.

GOON 6: Look out! Batman's here!

Batman/Johnny started forming his free flow combat on the goons by landing a few powerful punch and kicks as critical strikes and would sometimes counter their attacks. His movements was so fast that the goons couldn't land a punch or block Batman/Johnny's attacks. Batman would perform his Combo Takedown at one of them by breaking their arms or legs to knock them out.

When there was only one thug left standing, Batman puts him to the ground and immediately stepped his boot on the goon's face to interrogate him with his voice modulator/changer turned on.

BATMAN/JOHNNY: Riddler has a hostage inside the building! Tell me why!

GOON: I don't know anything. I swear! He just told us to stay on guard!

BATMAN/JOHNNY: Why!? What's Riddler's play?!

GOON: I ain't got a clue. He just he had something prepared for you inside the place. That's it! You have to believe me!

BATMAN/JOHNNY: I do.

Batman/Johnny knocked out the thug unconscious and went inside the building.

Inside the hallway that Batman/Johnny is in right now, there was a window glass above a door with green question mark painted on it but before he opened it, The Riddler appeared as a light projector against the wall.

RIDDLER: So you decided to play along with my little gamer, have you?

BATMAN/JOHNNY: Let them go, Riddler. They're innocent.

RIDDLER: Don't be stupid, Dark Knight. They wouldn't find themselves in the predicament they are currently in if they had tried to think just a few steps ahead now, would they? Now, shall we proceed to the game, Batman?

As the light projector Riddler disappeared on the wall, Batman/Johnny opened the door only to find himself on a one giant oversized room with highly dangerous electrified floors except on the portion where Batman/Johnny is standing on.

Batman/Johnny saw the hostage on the middle of the room with his arms tied up on the ceiling struggling to break free but also trying to avoid to fall over the electric floor.

HOSTAGE: Hey, Batman! I'm over here! You've got to save me!

Batman/Johnny sees an elevator shaft at the very end of the room directly straight at him. He turned on his Detective Mode to find a way to get pass through the electrified floor.

Using his Detective Mode, Batman/Johnny sees all the electrified floors' circuitry connected to a green question mark planted on each side of the wall.

Batman/Johnny tossed a Batarang at the dot on one of the Question Marks to stop the charge on portions of the floor. Some portions of the electrified floor stopped charging like a maze that leads to the elevator shaft.

RIDDLER: I see that you've turned it off, but for how long, Dark Knight?

Batman/Johnny started to run on the non-electrified as fast as he can to the elevator shaft before it turned on. He quickly made it to elevator shaft just in time for the portion of the floor is re-electrified.

Batman/Johnny tosses another question mark dot that will cause the elevator in the back to rise. Once Batman/Johnny was now on the top, he sees the hostage in front of him but in a greater distance. This made him use his Line Launcher from his utility belt.

The Line Launcher is a grapnel device used to get across large gaps or distances that couldn't be normally traversed. It was an alternative to the Grapnel Gun. It could only be used to traverse horizontally, not up or down.

Batman quickly snatched the hostage on his hand and smashed through the window leading them back to the hallway and safely landed to the ground.

BATMAN/JOHNNY: You're safe now.

HOSTAGE: (*breathes heavily) How... how did you do that?

BATMAN/JOHNNY: Riddler gave you trophy, right?

HOSTAGE: Yeah, he did. Why doesn't he just tell you what he wants?

BATMAN/JOHNNY: Because he's insane.

HOSTAGE: Huh... you don't say.

The hostage handed Batman/Johnny the second Riddler Trophy and glued it to the Conundrum box. Another riddle was revealed as a message recorder.

RIDDLER: Riddle me this: If you know me, you'll want to share me but if you share me, I'll be gone. What am I?

Batman/Johnny studied the riddle carefully in order to avoid any mistakes and find the next hostage as soon as possible. With enough time to uncover the answer, Batman/Johnny rearranged the letters on the box and formed the word 'Secrets'.

RIDDLER: Three solved? It seems I must've underestimated your abilities, but before you start to feel superior, you should try and rescue my next hostage. Invite your little Robin as well.

The location of the next Riddler hostage was shown at the small screen on the conundrum box. Batman/Johnny communicates with Gordon through his earbud within his cowl.

BATMAN/JOHNNY: Gordon, I've found one of the hostages that Riddle kidnapped. I need an officer to pick him up.

GORDON: Good to hear that, Batman. I'll send a car at your location.

Batman/Johnny pressed some buttons on his right gauntlet and it showed a holographic screen that can allow him to communicate with his allies face-to-face. He chose to communicate with Richard Grayson, AKA Robin.

BATMAN/JOHNNY: Robin, I have another lead on a Riddler hostage. I'm going to need your help on this one.

ROBIN: Got it. I'll meet you there.

Batman/Johnny stayed for a few minutes with the hostage while waiting for the police until they arrived. The police have escorted the hostage back to the precinct safely while Batman/Johnny went to the next Riddler room.

Robin shortly arrived to the place where he was suppose to meet up with Batman/Johnny. The two met in a dark alley way.

BATMAN/JOHNNY: What took you?

ROBIN: I had to suit up, remember? So what are we dealing here?

BATMAN/JOHNNY: This is.

There was an hollow weak wall with a green question mark painted on it. Batman/Johnny smashes the hollow wall and behind it was a green door.

ROBIN: Uh... you know, there's a reason why we've got an Explosive Gel packed in our utility belt.

BATMAN/JOHNNY: It's better if we save it for later. Come on.

Both Batman/Johnny and Robin opened the door and went inside to the next Riddler room. The room had electrical pipes glued on the wall with two missing parts and two pressure pads on the floor for Batman/Johnny and Robin. There was also an magnet motor connected to the electrical pipes then to a question mark on the wall.

HOSTAGE: Batman, help me! Please! The floor is heating up I don't how long I've got.

The hostage was trapped inside a murder box with floor slowly starting to hear up like an oven. The projector light of Riddler then appeared.

RIDDLER: Batman, I really must say that I'm enjoying the fact you're playing along with my little game. You even brought your little Robin to help you. Now, shall we proceed to the next room?

ROBIN: Cheez, this guy has a lot of serious issues.

The dynamic duo stepped on the pressure pads as the two missing parts of the electrical pipes appeared. Batman/Johnny fired his Remote Electrical Charge/REC gun at the magnet motor releasing an energy orb through the pipes making its way to the question mark.

Once the orb and the question mark interacted, the question mark lighted green as Batman/Johnny tosses a Batarang at the green dot making the heating element underneath the murder box stop. The hostage sighed in relief after he was saved by Batman/Johnny and Robin.

ROBIN: Well, that was easy.

BATMAN/JOHNNY: Hmm... quite too easy.

RIDDLER: Good job, Dark Knight and Boy Wonder. And now for your rewards: ROBOTS!

Out of no where, Riddlerbots appeared as the smash the wall where they were hiding.

ROBIN: Wait... ROBOTS!? I thought he was just going to send his goons down here!

The Riddlerbots are a unique type of enemy and designed and built by The Riddler in an attempt to make himself less dependent on average street thugs and criminals whom he considered inferior and useless.

RIDDLER: I've designed these machines just for you, Batman. They have the capability to incredibly think than an ordinary human being, even you can't outsmart them.

Batman/Johnny and Robin were surrounded by the Riddlerbots in a circle. The dynamic duo posed on a back-to-back position with Batman/Johnny preparing his fist for battle and Robin grabbing his Bo Staff from his utility belt. The Riddlerbots began to attack Batman/Johnny and Robin.

Batman/Johnny punched the one of the robots 5 times but they were never pinned down on the ground and quickly got back up on their feet. Both Batman/Johnny and Robin blocked every attack from the robots.

The Riddlerbots' fighting skills were much different than any ordinary street thugs. Luckily, those robots could easily be destroyed for the dynamic duo.

Batman/Johnny activated his Shock Gloves and continued beating up the Riddlerbots making their systems malfunction for a little amount of time then continued fighting. Batman/Johnny puts a robot down to the ground and ripped off its leg destroying the robot.

Meanwhile, Robin used his Bo Staff to attack the Riddlerbots and would sometimes use his fists or kick them to make it easier for him. The Riddlerbots have cornered Robin in a circle. The Boy Wonder simply smirked thinking that he has the robots where he wants him to be.

Robin performed a Special Staff Swing Takedown by swinging his Bo Staff in a circle ripping the robots in half that were surrounding. Robin fired his Zip-Kick grappling gun propelling himself to a nearby Riddlerbot and kicked it right on the face ripping its head off. Robin used his Bo Staff beating up a robot multiple times causing the robot to malfunction as Robin swings his staff ripping off the head.

Batman/Johnny placed his hand through the robot's interior and using his Shock Gloves electrifying the robot from the inside before pulling out some parts shutting it down.

A Riddlerbot was about to attack Batman/Johnny from behind as the Dark Knight pinned he robot down to the ground and brutally smacked its face countless of times until it became like a squashed tomato.

Batman/Johnny and Robin worked together as partners to destroy the Riddlerbots and would perform Duo Takedowns.

Countless pieces of the Riddlerbots were scattered around the floor.

ROBIN: (*chuckle) Come on, Riddler. Where's the challenge in that?

RIDDLER: NO! That's impossible! You've managed to destroy my Riddlerbots!? HOW!?

Batman/Johnny and Robin opened the murder box and freed the hostage inside.

HOSTAGE: Thank you, Batman. I thought we gonna die in there.

BATMAN/JOHNNY: It's okay, you're safe now. Riddler gave you a trophy, right?

HOSTAGE: Yeah, he did. He said something about in helping you.

BATMAN/JOHNNY: It will. Stay here. Commissioner Gordon will pick you up.

Batman/Johnny combined the new Riddler trophy and the Conundrum box to form the recorded message.

RIDDLER: Riddle me this: the more it is, the less you see. What am I?

ROBIN: Easy, the answer is Darkness. The more it is the less you see.

BATMAN/JOHNNY: It's worth the shot. Good call, Robin.

Batman/Johnny typed in the word 'Darkness' as the answer at the Conundrum box.

RIDDLER: WHAT! No, this is not happening! Did you cheat!? Of course you did. It's the only way. Well it ends now! Come and save the final hostage and bring along your Batmobile. You'll need it.

The location of the last hostage was shown at the small screen on the conundrum box. Batman/Johnny contacts Gordon through his earbud within the cowl.

BATMAN/JOHNNY: Gordon, send a unit at my location. We've found another one of Riddler's hostages

GORDON: Already did. How many have you found so far?

BATMAN/JOHNNY: We've already saved 3 hostages. There are 3 more left. Riddler gave me another location of the next hostage.

GORDON: Just get them back here in one piece, Batman. We're all counting on you.

BATMAN/JOHNNY: Don't worry, Jim. I won't let those hostages die. I'll make sure Riddler will pay for his crimes.

After Commissioner Gordon had picked up the hostage, Batman/Johnny and Robin went to the last hostage's location using the Batmobile.

Not aware from their surroundings, An unknown figure was watching Batman/Johnny and Robin from the rooftop using his military-grade binocular scopes.

This mysterious person wore a militaristic "Batsuit" and had an ''A'' symbol on his chest with a voice changer/modulator within his own ''Batman helmet''.

???: Enjoy your victory while it lasts, Batman. We'll see each other soon. This is just the beginning, Dark Knight. You will die and everyone you love will suffer.

To be continued...
