We met Danny and Ethan at the movies, the two of them waiting outside so the moment I was off the bike and had handed the helmet over to Aiden, I strode right on up to Danny. "Danny." I greeted with a smile, flicking out my hair as Danny smiled back at me.

"Cordy."

"Danny, if you're always telling me that I won't ever have a chance with you, then why do you always have to look so damn tempting." Immediately falling into my usual routine, I dusted at Danny's shoulder and draped my hand there for a moment. "Seriously, you're breaking my heart here Danny. I think I might just steal you away for myself." Sending a sidelong smirk at Ethan, I curled my hand around the back of Danny's neck and draped my other arm there too. "You better watch out Ethan, looks like I won't be giving up without a fight after all."

"I'm sure I can take you one."

"Oh really? Don't underestimate me. I always get what I want." Ending my teasing there, I hugged Danny sincerely then suggested we head inside because it was freezing out here. Ethan and Danny held hands as they walked in, though when Aiden tried to sling his arm around my shoulder I quickly ducked out of reach. "Oh no, you've been touchy feely all day and it nearly made me put my head through a wall I was going so crazy. Hands to yourself mister."

"What if you get scared by the movie? Am I not allowed to comfort you then? Hold your hand?" If he would be so lucky. I love horror movies. Hell, I've practically been living one since January, what's a flat screen going to show me I haven't seen in real life? Bring it on I say. Danny and Ethan sat in the row in behind us so they could have a little privacy but we were right in front of them. With a big bag of popcorn each, Aiden and I watched the movie quietly, though behind me I heard Danny jump or make a sound of surprise occasionally whenever something scary jumped out on screen.

It was cute, Ethan held his hand all the way through and several times I'm pretty sure I heard them making out. Adorable. "You seriously not freaked out by this movie?" Aiden whispered to me quietly after we were about halfway in, leaning in closer so that we wouldn't disturb anyone else in the theatre.

"No I love it. Why, scared?" I teased him, watching him shift uncomfortably.

"No." Suddenly there was a loud scream from the film and Aiden visibly jerked, making me laugh inwardly. For such a big bad wolf, he sure was jumpy. We talked intermittently after that, making it through the entire movie without Aiden becoming too terrified before we walked out together and headed over to the Mexican. "Well that was disturbing."

"If you'd told me you were so chicken about horror films I would have taken you to see that kids movie." I said whilst pinching his cheek lightly. "Maybe I should buy you a comfort toy to cuddle before you go to sleep tonight in case you have nightmares." Taking it in good humour, we all discussed our favourite, or otherwise hated, parts of the movie. Danny and I discussed the music a fair bit, having paid attention to the soundtrack and it carried us all the way to the table we'd reserved for the four of us. "I mean, I'm just saying. Film music is a serious business and should be given more credit than the people generally give. A good movie is only made great with an awesome soundtrack."

"I totally agree. Some movies are known and widely recognised based on their themes alone." Danny agreed with me as we sidled into the window seats opposite each other, Ethan taking Danny's right and Aiden mine. "Think about it, Star Wars, you play the first couple of bars and immediately everyone knows what movie that is." Our waitress came to take our order and immediately smiled at the three guys, a rosy hue touching her cheeks.

"Are you guys ready to order drinks or do you need a minute?" We all ordered cokes to begin with then took a look at the menu. The waitress came back like every thirty seconds to see if we were ready, each time prepped with a different question. "How are the drinks? Does anyone need ice? Can I interest anyone in the sharing starter? Is the table good for you?" Each and every time she came over she'd ask a question, receive an answer then make some other comment, laughing away as Aiden became his usual forwardly charming self when it came to pretty women.

Soon the waitress was all over him, touching his shoulder repeatedly and swinging her hips when she walked away because she knew that the uniform miniskirt made her butt look rather excellent. "You know, if you were actually my date then I might be a little upset that you were flirting with another woman in my presence." I noted aloud to Aiden as I continued to deliberate over my options.

"Are you upset that I'm flirting with other women?" He asked me curiously, stretching his arm around the back of the booth so that if I leaned back his arm would be across my shoulders.

"Of course not. I practically perfected the art itself, so I was merely going to observe next that you have a lot of room for improvement." Leaving it at that, I folded my menu away having decided what I wanted to eat. Ethan and Danny were getting along famously, and with discussion continuing with all four of us never seeming to have a dull moment, I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. By the time we were finished at the restaurant, I was so relaxed that I didn't mind leaning against Aiden who had stopped trying to plaster himself to me like a fungus and was just chilling like a normal guy. As we paid our tab, the waitress smiled at me rather too sweetly.

"You have such a nice boyfriend, you're so lucky."

"Oh he's not my boyfriend." I answered as I pulled on my jacket and flicked out my hair with a deadly serious face. "They're all my boyfriends." Immediately her face dropped and she gaped, unable to think of a comeback or response. Aiden barely held in his laughter so I kicked him under the table, grinning innocently at the waitress who ducked her head and hurried off, blushing deeply. "Is it wrong that I enjoyed that way too much?"

"Not at all." Ethan assured me, having enjoyed the exchange almost as much as I did. "We should do this more often."

"What, spend time with three gorgeous looking men and let people think I'm the greedy bitch?" I fake gasped, touching my chest as we all started to get up. "I can't think of a better way to spend my time. What do you say Danny? Finally ready to give in and become mine? Aiden and Ethan seem to already be on board." He grinned at me.

"I'll think about it." Squealing happily I sprung forwards and flung my arms around his neck to kiss his cheek, kicking up a foot dramatically. Now convinced that this was a night very well spent, we all headed outside and decided to walk around for a while, Ethan and Danny not quite ready to call it a night. They walked ahead of us, hand in hand whilst Aiden and I hung back.

"Thanks for coming out tonight. My brother really appreciates it."

"My pleasure. You know, sometimes I really don't get you two. I mean, I don't get at all why you seem to have a problem with Scott and the others, but then I see you both like this and it makes me wonder which version is the real you." I admitted to Aiden freely, feeling comfortable to voice my thoughts around him as we walked side by side together under the lamplight of the street. "Is there a reason you two seem adamant to get them into trouble and generally make life difficult for them?"

"It's complicated." Pursing my lips I huffed in annoyance.

"The amount of times I've heard that phrase…" Feeling Aiden touch my arm I stopped, turning to face him as he looked to me with as much sincerity and honesty as he could muster without breaking that stone cold façade of his.

"We can't tell you anything, but we can promise one thing. No matter what happens, we won't hurt you. Or Danny. Or Lydia." He told me quietly, his voice dropping into a mellow murmur. I watched him carefully and allowed my senses to reach towards him and what his heart felt and discovered that he was telling the truth. "We like you a lot, Cordy. It's been a long time since we've had a normal friend. Any friend, on that point. So just trust us, okay?" Tilting my head at him, I remained relaxed and completely at ease.

"But you're trying to hurt people I care about."

"I know…I…it's complicated, I can't…" Seeing that he was struggling with his conscience, I lifted my hand and touched his face, gently rubbing his cheek with my thumb to smooth away his worries.

"It's okay. I understand." Assuring him as my heart continued to beat in a slow and steady rhythm, I made sure to be as completely honest and truthful as I could. "I trust you." A slow swell of emotion seemed to give rise in Aiden's face, gradually crumbling away the façade he wore to protect himself from all outsiders and that emotion made its impression upon me, allowing me to feel it as well. Aiden came closer, hands reaching for my waist and his head lowered to meet mine. Quickly my hand jumped to his mouth, stopping him before he could kiss me. His eyes flickered slightly, momentarily confused before I explained in a gentle whisper. "Lydia."

"Oh." He pulled back but didn't let go of me, just stood there with me close to him as he continued to simply look at me. "She and I…it's not real. It doesn't mean anything to either of us."

"But currently, you are still with her. I'm not going to be that person who takes away the first bit of happiness she's had in a long time. She's my best friend, I love her more than anything." I explained to him honestly. "And besides, this is just one moment. You can't allow yourself to get caught up in it otherwise you'll just leave it feeling confused. Trust me, I have been there before."

"Seems fair, but I really did want to kiss you just now." Aiden told me, returning more to his former self. Cocky, self-assured and mischievous. "I still do."

"Perhaps another time." Coyly dropping a subtle hint, I walked off and left Aiden to puzzle over it before he quickly caught up with me, grinning wolfishly and for a brief moment, I thought I caught a flash of red in his eyes but it quickly passed, so I dismissed it. He brought me home and even walked me to my front door, lingering a moment as I fished around in my purse for my keys. Thankfully my parents had texted me in the night that their plans had relocated them elsewhere for the night and that I had the house to myself, thank god. I guess that meant they got themselves a room at a hotel, but I don't particularly want to think about that. "So, I had a nice time. Thanks for inviting me."

"Glad you came, we should do it again sometime."

"Sure, though do you think Ethan and Danny will be able to handle dating without us there to hold their hands?" Chuckling quietly, Aiden continued to watch me as I finally found my keys to the front door which I unlocked and pushed open. "Well, goodnight."

"Goodnight Cordy. Dream of me?"

"Only if you promise to behave." Flirting right back, Aiden made no such promise. Instead he stretched forwards and kissed my cheek lightly, hand rising to my chin and thumbing it lightly before drawing back. The gesture was rather endearing and I felt my pulse give a little kick the same moment his mouth twitched in a smirk. So he was listening. Damn it.

"I'll see you tomorrow."

"Tomorrow, and then you're suspended." I reminded him. He inclined his head and shrugged, signalling he couldn't care less. Starting to move away, I noticed Aiden suddenly grow tense and his head snapped around to glare at my house. "Something wrong?" He stayed deadly quiet, glowering as his eyes seemed to scan each room in my house before looking through the door towards the stairs.

"Are you meant to be alone tonight?"

"Um…yeah, my parents are out, why?"

"I just got a feeling, that's all. Can I go in and make sure there's nobody else in the house who's not supposed to be here?" Curious as to why he was acting all tense and on edge, I considered a moment before reaching out with my own senses. It was a stretch since my house was so big, but eventually I managed to catch a glimpse of what I believed to be Isaac's presence upstairs in my room.

"I'll be fine. My dad invested in a top security system, so if anyone was trying to steal stuff they'd trip an alarm." I assured him, stepping back into my house. "I'll see you at school tomorrow, okay?"

"Alright." Aiden lingered a moment more before heading to his motorcycle, mounting it after putting his helmet back on. I waited on the porch as he started it up, lifting my hand in a wave as his helmeted head turned back to me and gave a nod before Aiden then took off back home. Now with a groan knowing that a rather angry werewolf was waiting for me upstairs, I swung the door shut, locked it then trudged up the steps as slowly as I possibly could. At least Aiden's reaction to realising Isaac was in my house gave me the warning I needed, so when I opened my door I didn't scream at finding him sitting hunched over at the end of my bed, fingers pressed together waiting for me.

"You know, I should really learn to lock my window." I announced, tossing aside my purse then slammed my door shut behind me.

"You went out with them?"

"Of course I did, it was for Danny." I answered firmly, walking over to my drawers in order to grip onto the side and pull off my shoes. "And I happened to have a great time, thank you for asking."

"You…went out…with them?"

"Yes, Isaac. I went to the movies and ate food with the alpha twins. Can we please move on?" Getting a little irritated that Isaac was brooding over this so much, I began to search for some pyjamas to change into.

"You stink of them."

"Well that's kind of to be expected, I was in close proximity with them for several hours. You might even smell Danny's Armani on me too." Clearly being sarcastic was not the right choice with Isaac right now, for all my blowing off and insouciance had snapped the final thread of restraint and control he possessed because the next thing I knew, his hands were slamming against the wall either side of my head, claws digging into the paint as he bellowed at me with glowing yellow eyes and fangs extending out of his jaws.

"Don't you understand? They could kill you! I could kill you. Just one twitch and your neck would snap like a twig." His fingers curled around my neck and instantly I started to feel a flicker of fear, stretching my neck and sharply inhaling as my legs trembled. "Are you on their side? Huh? Are you with them now or is this some kind of sick game you're playing?"

"Isaac…Isaac please…"

"Because if you are going to be with them, then you need to come clean now otherwise I might not be able to hold back later. They are monsters. They locked up Boyd and killed Erica, the girl who saved me from them also died, and you're prancing around them like it's nothing. I should kill you right now."

"Isaac!" My voice rang with a siren's wail, causing my entire room to shake and immediately Isaac snapped awake, the glow fading and his transformation reversing. Snapping his hand away from my neck he hastily retreated whilst I stayed anchored at the wall, warily watching him to survey whether or not I should consider myself in danger. Shaking his head as if trying to dispel some of his anger, Isaac began to pace back and forth. "Isaac, talk to me. Tell me what's wrong."

"No, no, no I…I can't…I'm turning into him. Him. I almost hurt you. I wanted to hurt you. Oh god…" Seeing images flash before my eyes of Isaac's memories, I saw his father as he beat Isaac from a young age which then progressed into more alarming scenes of him being locked in a freezer in the dark. "No, no…I can't become him. I can't."

"Look at me Isaac." Lowering my shoulders so that they were lax and loose, I stepped away from the wall and carefully approached Isaac, reaching out to take his hand in mine then captured his face, forcing him to look me in the eye. "You don't have to bottle it in. If you're angry, then shout. The house is empty except for you and me, no one else will hear you. You only become physical when you try to hold back your anger for too long. So come on. Let me have it. I'll give as good as I get, I promise you." Blinking at me, the stress in his eyes gradually faded as I let go and took a couple steps back, taking a deep breath to prepare myself before spreading my arms to signal I was ready. All at once, Isaac exploded.

He shouted and raved at me to which I responded in kind, yelling at each other at the top of our voices as we countered the other's arguments over the twins. Isaac wanted me to stop seeing them. I told him not a chance. He told me that I had to pick a side and I told him that neutrality was also an option. We fought, we argued, we raged at one another until finally I'd had enough of the shouting and simply grabbed hold of Isaac to smash our lips together, wanting to release our frustrations in a different kind of manner. It was rough and hot, nails scraping at each other's skin and more bruises than even the night before were scattered all over our bodies. Whereas Isaac healed instantly, I needed water in order to recover but ended up sprawled across Isaac's chest until morning, whereupon I woke up, tried to move only to cry out in pain. Isaac jolted awake and immediately tried to help me, turning me over as I hissed and bit back a sob as I struggled to move my hips.

"You rat bastard."

"Sorry."

"I'm going to make you pay for this. First things first, you're gonna have to carry me to the bath." An eyebrow arched at me intriguingly but I quickly knocked him on the head. "Don't get your hopes up, I need water to heal and I'm pretty sure you either dislocated or broke my hips you jerk." Quickly realising I was serious, Isaac scooped me up as carefully as possible to race me over to the bath where I soon submerged myself in water, singing myself into healing.

Damn it. I'll definitely get him for this.
