FBI L.A. HEADQUARTERS

Tony heard the ding of the elevator alerting everyone that someone was about to get off on their floor and looked towards it out of habit more than anything else. He paused in what he was doing when he saw the two people exit the elevator and look around the bullpen. "Why in the hell are you two crazy kids here? Is everyone okay?"

Allison Argent smiled and kissed Tony and then Charlie on the cheek. "Calm down, Tony. Isaac and I were given strict orders to come here to you instead of heading to NCIS LA HQ. Why are you here instead of with your team, honey? And why do you look like you haven't really been sleeping or taking care of yourself?"

Tony groaned and rolled his eyes. He should have known that the younger woman would have noticed right away that he hadn't been sleeping or taking care of himself like he should. "I look like I haven't been sleeping because I really haven't been. I haven't had the time to take care of myself the way I should because the current Director of NCIS has been running me ragged since I refused an op she wanted me to do for her. Well, that and the fact that my Probie and Officer David refuse to do what I tell them to do so I'm having to do my work and their work."

Allison scowled. "Oh, hell no, Tony! You are not going to do your work and their work because you already do too much work as it is. If Stiles doesn't fix whatever the problem is you can bet your ass that I will. Now, why are you here instead of at NCIS LA HQ?"

Tony shrugged his shoulders and sighed because he knew Allison wouldn't stop asking him until he told her. "I needed a break from McGee and David, Allison. If I had to put up with them any longer without a break I would have snapped and probably ended up killing one if not both of them. They fight every damn order I give them when Gibbs isn't around and when he is around they look to make sure that is what they should be doing instead of just following what I told them to do. McGee also didn't take it to well when he learned that I still go to college to further my education."

Isaac frowned and asked, "How does he not know that you still find time to go to college? Is he blind as well as dumb or some shit?"

Charlie snorted from where he was sitting at a desk behind where Tony was standing. "From what I have seen and heard from others Agent McGee is blind to anything and anyone that doesn't fit his narrow view on what an academic looks and sounds like. I could tell that he was surprised to learn that I knew Tony from way back and that we went to a lot of the same colleges as one another. He ignores the fact that there are several colleges out there that rank above MIT and John Hopkins because he likes to think that he's the best of the best.

It didn't surprise me that he didn't know that Tony has several degrees and is still going to college for even more degrees. He however did seem surprised when one of us made the comment that an Agent needs to be able to better themselves instead of resting on their laurels so to speak."

Isaac's eyes flashed gold before he could stop them. He shrugged his shoulders when everyone looked at him in surprise. "I'm a werewolf and you'll be learning about things you may wish you never knew by the end of the briefing you guys are about to get. Charlie, we need for you to use your contacts to check out something that Allison emailed you as soon as we reached this building. Tony, you are sticking to Allison and me until either we or Stiles tell you differently. I know that you have a tail on you, and they can stick to you like glue, but that doesn't mean that you can go somewhere without Allison or me with you at all times. Understand?"

Tony rolled his eyes but nodded. He knew that Isaac meant what he said and that if even tried to go somewhere without one of them that Isaac would sit on him to keep him in one place. He had to admit though that Isaac got more impressive with the stern talking to each time he gave it to someone. "I promise not to go anywhere with you or Allison, Isaac. You really didn't need to go all big bad wolf on me to get me to listen to you, you know?"

Isaac snorted and rolled his eyes. He knew Tony sometimes better than Tony knew himself. "Tony, I know you and I know that if I hadn't gone all big bad wolf on you that what I said would have gone in one ear and out the other. I know exactly how you tend to think because I tend to think the same damn way. I know that you hate having to have someone follow you, but until this shit has passed over you will do as you're told unless you want Stiles, Derek, Chris, or Peter on your ass. You know how all four of those are."

He turned his head and looked at Charlie who was smirking at Tony and scowled at the other genius. "Don't think for a moment that you won't be having Allison or me on your ass at all times as well, Charlie. That is why I told Tony he was to stick to either Allison or me because whichever one of us isn't with him will be with you."

Charlie pouted. "Isaac, you don't need to follow me around. I doubt that I will be able to leave this building without um Agent Edgerton with me anyways."

Isaac chuckled darkly. "So, you finally found someone who makes you lose your cool then, Charlie. I was starting to think we were going to have to play match maker with you again. You know how Stiles gets sometimes because of how happy he is currently, and he thinks everyone needs to be just as happy as him. Would Agent Edgerton happen to be Agent Ian Edgerton? If so, he is read into the Supernatural, so you don't have to censor anything around him. He also happens to be one of the best snipers in the United States."

Charlie blushed. "I have no clue if he is read into the Supernatural or not, Isaac. And yes, Agent Edgerton is Ian Edgerton. He is one of the best snipers in the United States and probably the world from what I understand. I just met him a couple of days ago and I already feel like I could be in over my head. There is just something about him that draws me to him like a moth to a flame."

Isaac shook his head and grinned. "I would have to ask Stiles to be sure, but if I'm not mistaken Edgerton has something other about him. I can sense him in a way that I can't sense regular mundanes. I can't say that he's a shifter but he's something other alright."

Charlie groaned and rolled his eyes. "Of course, he is. I should have realized that with the way that he walks. There is something about him that called to me, so I went for it instead of staying away from him like I originally had planned. I wonder what he is."

The man they had just been talking about chuckled from behind Charlie and said, "I am a shifter, but unlike most people I am actually able to shift into two different forms. My mother was a wolf and my father was a cheetah shifter. Instead of only being one or the other my DNA worked together to give me the advantage of being able to shift into both. I love running as both a wolf and a cheetah, but I really love the speed I get when I am in my cheetah form. I am also able to use magic which has been passed down in our family for the last several generations thanks to a great-great-great-great-great-great grandmother and grandfather. Most of the time unless I'm tracking a suspect over terrain that would make it easy to lose said suspect I don't use my abilities because there have been times where a judge overseeing whatever case I have to testify for is not read in on the Supernatural."

Isaac chuckled at the blush on Charlie's face once he realized that Ian had heard them. "It is nice to meet you, Agent Edgerton. I am Isaac Lahey of the Hale pack and I consult with the FBI on a special task force."

Ian smirked. "It is nice to meet you too, Agent Lahey, and I know the task force you speak of. I have tracked a couple people down for said task force when asked to because of them being shorthanded. If I remember correctly Stiliniski is in charge of it, is he not?"

Isaac nodded. "Yes, Stiles is in command with Derek and Rafe McCall has his seconds. Allison and I came here because we're under orders to act as Tony's bodyguards for the next while. We're also to act as Charlie's if he goes to leave the office for any reason. There are some things going on that we're trying to get straightened out because we don't have a handle on it like we should since we weren't given the proper warning of something happening."

Ian frowned and looked at Charlie with narrowed eyes. "Are you alright, Professor?"

Charlie sighed but shook his head. Now that he knew Ian was a Supernatural, he knew better than try to lie or give half-truths. "Not really, Ian, but it will be. I promise to fill you in either later today, tonight, or tomorrow."

Ian nodded and then looked at where Tony was talking to Allison still. "Is Tony alright? He looks like he's about to jump out of his skin."

Isaac sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Tony has gotten used to playing a role that he tends to forget that he doesn't always have to wear a mask. I think Allison is currently lecturing him on hiding who he is from everyone. I can understand why he did it at first, but once the new people got used to seeing how things were done with the team, he should have put the mask away and let himself be himself. He takes too much blame on his shoulders when those that work with him should be able to open their damn eyes and see what is right in front of them."

Charlie snorted. "That would require McGee and David to use their brains and I'm not so sure that they have a brain to share between them. Tony has always been one to keep things close to his chest because of how much he's been hurt in the past. Don will make sure to spend some time with just Tony while he's here in Los Angeles and get him settled down again. Don is really good at that."

Ian snickered. "Don from what I have heard doesn't beat around the bush at all. I have no doubt that he'll set DiNozzo straight on whatever he's blaming himself for. I have heard a lot about DiNozzo, and I have met him several times in passing, but I was always on the way out of town so never really got the chance to get to know him like I've wanted to. I know that there are several agents back at Quantico that would love to be able to work with him because they know that he's got a lot to teach someone."

Charlie smiled at that because he knew just how much Tony enjoyed training new agents. "Tony loves training new agents. He loves to watch them bloom under his care and attention. I just wish that McGee would have recognized that instead of thinking it was Tony being arrogant. Honestly, I am not sure how McGee became a field agent when he doesn't seem to be able to read a room correctly at all."

Isaac scoffed. "I have a feeling that someone somewhere pulled strings to make sure that he was given a chance as a field agent. I think that if we can get him away from Officer David that he may be salvageable, but that is only if we can get him away from her and the forensic technician back at NCIS Headquarters. He seems to be easily led around by his dick and that isn't a good thing at all but especially for an agent on the premier NCIS team."

Ian's eyes hardened slightly. "Well Jack O'Neill won't stand for that at all. I've heard whispers that he's about to come down hard on the Director of NCIS and when he does she's going to wish that she was never born by the time he's finished with her. The only thing any of you can do is be there when DiNozzo needs a safe place to land."

Charlie nodded. "I know, but it doesn't mean that I have to like it. Ian, do you want to go grab a coffee with me before I get back to work?"

Ian grinned at that and looked at Isaac. "I'll be with him, so the Professor won't need another tail. I'll take him down to the coffee shop on the ground floor. I'm just glad that the Deputy Director here thought to have one put in because sometimes people need a break from being in the office but can't go far especially if they're waiting for results on some tests being ran."

Isaac nodded and waved his hand toward the elevator. "Enjoy your coffee date, Charlie. I have a feeling we'll be meeting up with the group in the next couple of hours, so it's a good thing you won't be going far."

Charlie smiled at Isaac. "Let Tony know where I am so that he doesn't go looking for me. I don't want to interrupt his conversation with Allison."

Isaac nodded again and watched as Ian led Charlie to the elevator before he decided that Allison had Tony wrangled enough that he could see what Don needed he help wise for right now. He knew that Allison would fill him in later on what her and Tony talked about if he needed to know.
