Theme- Tales of The Quarantine Life or Lack Thereof

Time Period: A Flashback

Situation: The House Fire (caused by another wildfire outside)

Scene: Kyle and Sarah's bedroom

Kyle (laying in the bed with Sarah, he smells smoke): I smell smoke

Sarah (alarmed): Where the fire coming from?

Kyle (looking outside the bedroom window): The smoke is coming from a wildfire outside. The wildfire is heading straight for our house.

Sarah (frightened): OH MY GOD

Kyle (putting on his clothes and collecting important items): We must warn and prepare the others. We must get out of this house.

(Sarah and Kyle warn and prepare the others. While exiting the house (on fire) Chance (age 8 ongoing 9) gets separated from his family). He didn't want to leave the house without his teddy bear).

Scene: A shelter for the wildfire victims

Cameron: Your body is tense. Your blood pressure is high.

John (choked up): I am worried about Chance. He didn't come out of the house with us.

Cameron: I am sorry for your loss

Derek (reading the list of the dead): I don't see his name on the deceased list

James Ellison (bearing a torn and worn out teddy bear, he approaches the lovely trio): I found Chance's teddy bear in the debris. I am sorry for your loss. He had Down Syndrome, but he was an extraordinary little peace.

John (hysterical): My brother is not dead until I see his dead body

Derek (choked up): John, we must let him go

John (devastated): NO!

Cameron: I am sorry for your loss

John (yelling at Cameron): Shut Up!

James: I will tell your parents and Kitty about Chance

(Before John can stop James, it is too late. Kyle and Kitty are an emotional hot mess. A heartbroken Sarah has collapsed on the floor. An ambulance transports to the hospital)

Scene: Sarah's hospital recovery room

Kyle (crying and sitting at Sarah's bedside): Please wake up, baby

Sarah (reawakening): I had the worst nightmare ever. I dreamt Chance died in a house fire. Please tell me this is not true.

Kyle (squeezing Sarah's hand): We almost lost our son. The firefighters were able to find him. Chance is wounded, but he is alive.

Sarah (getting out of bed): I must see Chance. He has Down Syndrome. He is real sensitive to pain.

Kyle: You should rest, but I will take you to him.

(Chance is really happy and grateful to see his parents and vice versa. Chance gets a new teddy bear along with a new house (temporary lodging-rental house) where his family continues to shower him with love. The flashback ends.)

Time Period: The Present Reality post the house fire

Date: 9-23-2020

Place: The Connor Reese family's temporary lodging (a rental house)

Scene: Sarah and Kyle's bedroom

Sarah (looking around for her makeup): My makeup items burnt up in the fire

Kyle (touching Sarah's cheek): You are beautiful even without make up. I love your cute dimples and emerald green eyes.

Sarah: I lose myself in your enchanting ocean blue eyes

(Sarah can hear the kids calling for her downstairs. She joins them downstairs for another homeschooling (digital online) session. THEY are ready and eager to learn despite warnings of more wildfires and the corona virus. John, Cameron, and Sarah take turns with teaching the kids. Derek and Kyle look out for any signs of Skynet.)
