Title: A Fangirl's Dream
Summary: Ivy has it rough. She's no anime fan or FMA fan. But when she somehow crosses the gate, she finds herself in the worst possible position: a protagonist of an Another World fic trope. And between the alchemy, automail, lack of plot knowledge, and struggling with her attraction to a pretty blonde mechanic, Ivy reluctantly teams up with the main characters in her journey to get home.

By the time the group reached the staircase that led out of Central Station, Ling was gone.

Again.

"God that dude moves like the wind." Ivy clicked her tongue, looking over her shoulder to the depressed bodyguards behind them. Brown eyes looked back ahead of her, landing on Akasha. They hadn't spoken much since the day before. Ivy tried telling herself it was because they hadn't sat beside each other on the train ride here, but deep down she knew it was deeper than that. She'll chill out eventually. Ivy huffed quietly to herself. Akasha always chilled out eventually, then they were back to joking it up before the day was over.

"Good riddance as far as I'm concerned." Edward rolled his eyes, nose in the air.

"You're just mad that he's younger than you but still taller." Ivy clicked her tongue with a smirk.

"Don't make me immediately buy you a ticket back to Rush Valley when we've barely just left the station."

"Brother, you're supposed to be a mature role model for me."

Ivy chuckled, at least Edward and Alphonse were normal. All she needed was just a hint of normalcy and she would be okay. "Besides, you can't send me back before we see Hughes, I missed the guy!" Ivy skipped ahead a few steps to fall in line beside the Elric brothers. "I have a lot to tell him, we'll probably have a lot to talk about." It was scary the second time they had met and the man had already discovered that she had been lying about her residency in Central, but he had quickly proven himself to be an ally. "I want him to meet Akasha, too."

The brothers gave her a knowing look.

"I wonder if he found out anything about the Philosopher's Stone." Alphonse mumbled thoughtfully.

Edward's gold eyes flashed with a doubtful expression, "I don't know, the Fuhrer did tell him to stay out of it."

Winry looked at the three of them suspiciously, "what are you all talking about?"

"Grown folk's business!" Edward didn't miss a beat.

Light blonde eyebrows knit together, Winry's brow furrowing. "You're keeping me in the dark, again?" Blue eyes stared directly at Ivy in disbelief.

Ivy held her hands up defensively. "I just wanted to tell the guy my progress as an engineer and have him meet my best friend, don't give me that look." The words flew out of Ivy's mouth quickly. "That's facts." Winry's expression only turned into a scowl and Ivy suppressed the feeling of guilt rising in her chest. "Besides, we'll have fun telling him about all the progress we had in Rush Valley, right?"

"Right." Winry grumbled but her face made was sure to let Ivy know that Winry was anything but enthusiastic at this present moment.

Ivy shot a look at Edward and Alphonse, but they only shrugged.

You two are so helpful, right now.

"We should just get to the Court Martial Office and stop by before booking a hotel." Edward said at last. "That is if Super Dad doesn't try kidnapping someone to dote over his daughter again." There were no chuckles to be gained from Winry with that joke. Just peachy.

"So," Akasha's voice cut through the awkwardness like a welcomed chainsaw. "tell me about this Hughes person?" Leave it to Akasha to be Ivy's knight in shining armor when it got too awkward. Thanks, girl. Ivy wanted to sigh dreamily. "Is he an alchemist?" The brunette said it so smoothly, Ivy would've genuinely believed her to be a resident of this world if she didn't know any better.

She would've certainly been more useful than Ivy was several months ago her first time in Central.

She'd know what to do about the Philosopher's Stone, the Fifth Laboratory. She'd pick up alchemy quickly too, if she hadn't already. Ivy realized she never asked at all. Ivy kicked herself in the ankle mentally.

It's just been so hectic lately with Elizabetta, random ninjas, magically seeing Akasha again, and then that thing with Winry. Ivy reasoned with herself. She'd been busy. It was always easy to forget to ask things when you were busy, especially in Rush Valley. It felt like she hadn't had moment's rest when they finally reunited in Rush Valley once Edward stepped into the city, arm expectedly needing repairs. Maybe I'm just fishing for excuses. Ivy sighed, looking at Akasha's back as she chirped response after response to the blond alchemist she admired so much. She would just ask Akasha later how her alchemy training had been before they met, Akasha surely had a bunch of stories she was dying to tell and Ivy hadn't given it so much as a second thought before.

Welcome to the bad friend club, Carter. You're like Kipo when she ditched Wolf with the Newton Wolves.

"Huh, Lieutenant Hawkeye?" Edward gaped at the sight of a honey haired woman with brown eyes, her hair was in a bun, feather bangs swept to the left as she held important documents in her arms.

Well who is this fine piece of wine? Ivy would have pulled down her glasses if she had any. Forget seeing Hughes now that they had reached the Court Martial Office, someone give an exposition dump as to who this lady was.

"Edward, Alphonse, I hope you've both been well." The woman, Hawkeye, replied with a sharp and crisp voice.

"Yeah, same as always." Edward gestured towards Ivy, Akasha, and Winry. "These-"

"Hey, I know this lady!" Winry exclaimed suddenly, face pleasantly surprised.

A look of recognition passed Hawkeye's face, "you're the little girl from Resembool."

Winry nodded with a smile, the first Ivy had seen since their... talk the other night. At least, one that hadn't been forced. "That's right, I'm Winry!"

Warm pleasantries were exchanged like Winry and Hawkeye gushed like they were old college buddies reuniting at a class reunion. Edward and Alphonse exchanged confused looks, having no idea when the two of them could have met one another. "By the way, Lieutenant," Edward said eventually, drawing attention back from two the two blondes. "these are two new friends of ours you apparently haven't met. Ivy and Akasha."

"Your group is growing larger by the day." Hawkeye commented. "It's nice to meet you both."

"It's really nice to meet you too!" Akasha beamed. "I love your hair, it's beautiful."

Hawkeye smiled politely with a nod, "thank you, I only chose this style for the practicality of my work, but it doesn't hurt to hear a compliment or two every now and then."

Akasha just giggled sheepishly, scratching the back of her neck. "I wish I could pull it off but I never look good with buns."

"I'm sure you would look lovely."

Ivy nodded in agreement with the Lieutenant, "yeah, dude, rock those buns. We don't do self-deprecation in this camp."

"Says the girl who can rock buns."

"Darling, we're not having this argument in front of new people." Ivy winked and Akasha snorted, but it was better than Akasha outright ignoring Ivy in favor of everyone else.

Edward's face suddenly contorted into one best described as the love child of concern and irritation. "Wait if the Lieutenant is here then that means-"

Almost comically on cue, a door closed behind them and Ivy bore witness to who was probably the most beautiful man she had ever seen. He was tall, oh so tall, with short jet black hair and eyes to match. Edward, he was a dude. But this guy? He was a man. Ivy didn't care if she didn't watch Fullmetal Alchemist, she was getting a poster with this man on it and putting it right over the poster she had of Zac Efron. "Don't you dare make that googly eyed expression at him, I can almost hear your thoughts word for word." Edward hissed and Ivy's face felt warm.

"I was looking at the car, you ass!" She hopefully saved herself, but Edward's looked like he didn't believe her either way. "That is one fine car if I say so myself, I swear the thing looks bulletproof!"

"And you would be right, young lady. Roy Mustang, charmed." The man winked and Ivy was sure she felt a small piece of her die that day. But it died happily. "Fullmetal, you look thrilled to see me as usual."

"Why are you even here?!"

"Oh you didn't hear?" Roy Mustang looked smug. "I was promoted and transferred to Central a few days ago. What brings you here?"

"I'm here for research." Ivy doesn't think she's ever seen someone talk to their superior with such a frustrated tone before. "I've been trying to find information on the Philosopher's Stone and Homunculi."

"Homunculi?" Roy Mustang repeated with an incredulous look. "Are you stupid?" He berated as he put on his jacket, which he looked amazing doing. Ivy wouldn't even slide him for calling her younger brother 'stupid' when that was a right exclusively to siblings and love interests. "You know the rules. 'No alchemist shall attempt to create a human being.' You think the military would leave information like that lying around?" That was something to ask Edward and Alphonse about later when it was much better timed.

"Yeah yeah..." Edward grumbled. "We're also here to visit Lieutenant Colonel Hughes." Edward looked a bit more pleasant at that bit, his irritation melting away. "How is he doing?"

Mustang gave them a sharp look while Hawkeye directed her gaze elsewhere. "He's gone." The man finally said plainly. "He moved back to the countryside." He continued as he began walking away. "Things have been so dangerous in Central lately, he took his family and moved back to the country. He's going to take over his family's business so you won't find him here."

Ivy's face fell in disappointment. Of course, life never works out the way you want it to in that moment.

"That's too bad." Edward voiced her thoughts, scratching his head.

"Being a soldier is a dangerous profession." Alphonse reasoned, though the disappointment in his tone was apparent.

"The Philosopher's Stone and the Homunculi, right? I'll let you know if I find anything." Mustang continued. "Let's go, Lieutenant."

"Yes, sir." Hawkeye fell in line quickly.

"Oh and Fullmetal," Mustang continued, without turning back. "Try to stay out of trouble and don't get reckless." He finished and with that, they had gone their separate ways. Ivy didn't even noticed the look on Akasha's face.

"Ugh, room 503." Akasha mumbled under her breath while Ivy shoved her backpack under their shared bed. Winry had left a few minutes ago to get some catalogues from the front desk and in room 502, Edward and Alphonse were settling down, all equally disappointed about the Hughes' moving.

"What's wrong with room 503?"

"This is what the EdWin shippers like referring to them as because in this room they had a moment and I hate it." Akasha growled, mostly to herself than Ivy. "But it doesn't matter now that I'm here. Finally, multiverse theory is treating me right."

Ivy decided not to comment on that. It bothered her too that Edward and Winry were predestined partners in this place, but you didn't see Ivy trying to steal the main character's girl. She was trying to go home.

Home.

"When it comes to you, which of those ideals feel the most true to you and your situation? Where you happen to be in the moment, a place in your heart, or a person?"

Home.

"I really don't get you. I don't like Ed or Al, you idiot. Not like that. I like-"

"Hey, Akasha, do you use alchemy now?" Ivy interrupted her own thoughts. This wasn't the time to have a home identity crisis. She knew what home was, home was the world she was born in and spent the first 15 years of her life doing jack all and volleyball.

Akasha just shot her a scathing look over the shoulder. "So now you ask?"

"Akasha, I'm not trying to start an argument with you." Ivy replied, though she winced knowingly. She knew this had to be coming. Akasha may have been weird these past days about her Edward crush, but that didn't change anything at the end of the day. They were best friends.

"Yeah, but all you've done the past few days is go on and on about your automail stuff and never even bothered asking about how I've been or what I've done." Akasha snapped right back. "You couldn't ever at least ask 'hey so you were stuck in a completely different country than you expected for a few months, what was that like?' You just cared about making goo goo eyes at machinery and Winry of all people."

The way it sounded, Winry's name might as well have been the equivalent to someone spitting on trash. Ivy knew that, for once, checking Akasha would do nothing but serve to add to the rift growing between them.

"Look, I know I fucked up these past few days and I can say a bunch of stuff about how I was busy, but that's not how our friendship works." Ivy began as Akasha huffed and crossed her pale arms. "I'm never too busy for your crazy ass, you make life fun and it's always fun listening to you talk about your fics. I never expected to land in one of said crazy fic ideas, because you totally jinxed that day at school talking about your fangirl's dream and self-insert OC."

"She wasn't a self-insert." Akasha grumbled, but Ivy could vaguely hear the sound of rising amusement in her friend's tone.

"Okay, coincidentally brunette and green-eyed OC who is definitely not a self-insert." Ivy coughed in disbelief. "So I'm really sorry for making you feel like you're second to anything, bros before hoes and geeking out before…. I dunno, freaking out. Now get your gremlin ass over here and hug me because you love me and then tell me everything."

Akasha struggled for a few moments to keep her lips turned into a frown but it only lasted so long before she came over and laid her head on Ivy's chest. "She isn't a self-insert."

"Whatever, nerd." Ivy chuckled as she returned the gesture with a hug. "And I'm shorter than Ed."

"You're probably at least younger than Ed."

"Actually, we talked about that. He was born December 21st, I was born December 11th. So technically, I'm still the oldest here." Sure, by only 10 days but as far as Ivy cared, it mattered a lot in the grand scheme of Rubbing Things in Edward's face.

"Well now I know when to celebrate Ed's birthday."

Ah yes, Akasha, the type of nerd who celebrates fictional birthdays. Ivy nearly forgot.

"Do you wanna see me do something cool or not, you goof?"

"Right, right, show off your alchemy." Ivy removed her arms, using her fancy voice as she gestured to the room. "Just make sure to change everything back to normal before the staff pops in and kills us."

Akasha dug out a pair of black fingerless gloves (fuckin' Hot Topic lookin' ass), white stars stitched into the palm of each of them. "Technically speaking, I don't know alchemy. At least, not the type of alchemy Edward and Alphonse use."

That was when the door creaked open and Ivy nearly jumped out her skin when Winry walked through the door, holding the promised catalogues she desired. "What is it?" She asked plainly.

"Oh, Akasha was just showing off her alchemy to me finally." Ivy moved over to the side of the room she and Akasha would be sharing now. "I've kinda been neglecting it so I'm ready to hear her geek out about it and give me some demos."

"And like I was saying," Akasha reiterated as she slipped on her gloves. "I don't use Amestrian alchemy. Xing actually has its own form of alchemy they practice for more medical purposes called alkahestry, technically you can do just about the same thing as alchemy over here. But I think alkahestry has a useful edge that alchemy doesn't."

Ivy nodded, impressed, she didn't bother mentioning the fact she had been told this already by Edward. "You see, both alchemy and alkahestry draw power from different sources. Alchemy, it's tectonic shifts and alkahestry is more about the flow of chi in the land, at least in more simple terms, and redirecting that chi to do things you want."

"I totally understood all that you just said, got it." Ivy gave her a thumb's up. "So I'm guessing the useful edge is the medical purposes?"

"Uh, I'll tell you later. It's a lot of info."

"If that's the case, then yeah definitely tell me later." Ivy gagged, remembering the train ride with Armstrong. She at least had to see him before they took off and ask him about his workout schedule. And maybe ask more about his family history to annoy a certain blond gremlin. "Ed and Al's info dumps are like one-hit fatalities and you're not doing that to me while the night is young."

"You don't need info dumps when I can just do this, my friend." Akasha knelt onto the floor, gesturing to the wooden floor they stood on before she clapped her hands and set them down gently, lights flashing and a hand-sized heart raising out of the ground. "Ta da!"

"Damn, dude, that's great!" Ivy clapped as she knelt herself, poking the heart gently. It was a bit bumpy, but a heart nonetheless. "And this is just something basic?"

"Yep! The medical uses are the more complex techniques, I can only fix small cuts for now but say someone needed a full facial reconstruction and I would probably explode their face off."

"Great mental imagery, Akasha."

"You do alkahestry the way Ed does." Winry noted, herself, looking a little impressed herself.

Actually, yeah, she does do alkahestry the way Ed does. Ivy immediately gave Akasha a suspicious look but Akasha quickly flicked Ivy on the knee. "I didn't want to always draw out my transmutation circle, so I just had them stitched onto the gloves so I can do quick work on the go." Considering Akasha had all her limbs intact, Ivy didn't have a reason not to believe that her clapping style came from any other, less legal sources. "Pretty cool, right?"

"Yeah, I really don't get why you're trying to get Ed to teach you alchemy if you said alkahestry is more useful." Ivy replied truthfully as Akasha changed the heart back to the normal wooden floor it was before.

"I wanna combine the two styles." Akasha answered without missing a beat. "Get the best of both worlds."

Ivy only nodded, standing up her knees screaming in relief that she was no longer kneeling. "Well, good luck with that. Just try not to actually explode someone's face off while you're doing it."

"I'm not!"

"I'll believe it when I don't see it gruesomely happen before my eyes." Ivy sang back, kicking her shoes off before placing them neatly in a corner and sitting on her bed. "So, Winry, how's that catalogue?"

Normal.

Normal.

Normal.

Things just had to go back to normal, whether Ivy forced that normalcy to return or otherwise. She smiled at the blonde, hoping she would read the room that Ivy at least wanted them to be friends. Maybe not as close of friends as before, but close. Winry had been an amazing friend until that point and with things so awkward between them, Ivy wasn't sure she'd be able to cope if it kept up even in Rush Valley. Not unless Akasha came back with them, and Ivy already knew that would be like trying to give a feral cat a bath.

"I'm just looking at the different trends they have going on here right now, that's all." Winry's blue eyes lingered before they turned back to look at the catalogue.

Ivy couldn't have been more thankful for Akasha bouncing onto the bed beside her, a small notebook in hand. "So let me show you the notes I have!"

"Please tell me this is something I'm gonna be able to understand."

"I will translate everything." Akasha grinned. "Intersperse some tales I have about my time in Xing, let me tell you I thought I was gonna die because when I first got there-"

Akasha's story didn't even get a chance to begin when they heard the loud stomping of Alphonse's armor passing by their room and the door beside them slamming open loudly. Ivy and Winry shared a look as Winry quickly hopped off her bed and leaned out the door, "what's the matter, Al?"

Ivy popped over her head, giving her own concerned look as she saw Edward leave the room with a look Ivy could really only call horror. "Guys, what's wrong?"

The Elrics only passed by them hurriedly, "We've gotta go and see if this is true first and then we'll explain later."

"Wait-" Ivy began as Winry said "Check on what?"

"Al, let's go."

"R-right."

Akasha showed up then, green eyes wide. "Can I come with you both?" She took tentative steps after them. "I might be able to hel-"

"Now isn't the time, Akasha." Edward snapped, though Ivy could tell it was more bad timing than the blond actually being irritated. From the look on Akasha's face, Ivy could tell that his bark still stung more than the actual bite.

Ivy held Akasha's hand, "hey, he isn't actually mad at you, he's just…. going through something."

"But I could've helped." Akasha mumbled, her disappointment clear as day.

To their right, Ivy saw Winry place a hand on Akasha's shoulder with her own look of concern. Akasha jerked away almost instinctively, pressing further into Ivy's side. Winry blinked in surprise then a quick flash of hurt and anger passed over her face. "I'll just throw a wrench at them when they get here." She said at last. "Those morons didn't even close and lock their door before leaving, what if there were hotel thieves around?" Winry babbled.

"Winry-"

Winry turned around, her ponytail swinging side to side as she stood in front of Ed and Al's door frame. "They even left the lights on and this place is a mess." Winey continued on, walking in their room like a nagging mother. "I guess boys will be boys!"

Ivy held back the deepest of sighs that wanted to escape her as Winry fell quiet. Ivy gave Akasha's hand a firm but gentle squeeze. "Come on, let's help her clean up in there and then you can keep telling me about your time in Xing, okay?"

Akasha didn't say anything, allowing Ivy to pull her to room 502 but Ivy halted when she saw Winry frozen as she held a newspaper so close to her face, it nearly swamped over her. "Winry, what's up?"

The blonde didn't even react.

Ivy let go of Akasha's hand, reaching Winry in a few paces. "Winry?" Ivy looked over Winry's shoulder to see what she was looking at that had caught her attention so deeply. Her shoulders went slack and her eyes widened.

Second Lieutenant Maria Ross has been convicted of the murder of Maes Huges, the headline read beside a picture of Maria herself.

Ivy forgot how to breathe.

"What is it?" Akasha's voice felt like it was breaking a spell.

Ivy squeezed Winry's shoulder, she was trembling like they were in the middle of winter with no coats. Winry looked over her shoulder, horrified blue meeting shocked brown. I know. Ivy wanted to say, but the words wouldn't leave her throat. Gingerly, Ivy reached both hands over Winry, and gently pried the newspaper out of her fingers, before giving one of Winry's hands an even tighter squeeze before looking at Akasha.

Her green eyes didn't hold a trace of shock.

She knew.

She knew.

But Ivy could play her game. "It says that Hughes is dead." It sounded wrong on her tongue. Hughes, dead. "He was murdered by someone else we know."

Akasha's eyes grew owlishly large as if on cue, "what are you serious?" Her voice actually sounded sympathetic. "I'm so sorry."

It sounded like nails were being scratched down a chalkboard.

"Do you think that Mrs. Hughes and Elycia are actually still in Central?" Winry's voice was barely audible with a tremble. "I don't know their number to call."

"We can just go in the morning." Ivy reassured, wrapping an arm around Winry's shoulders and pulling her in close. "With or without the boys." She tried to keep the spite out of her tone at the fact they ran off without saying anything about it. Edward had at least said that they were going to confirm whether this was the truth before explaining it.

But they could have said something.

Akasha could have said something.

Should have said anything to Ivy if she knew what was coming. She remembered their last day in Rush Valley when she asked Akasha if anything was wrong with Hughes. She slammed the boys' door shut as she guided Winry back to the room they would be sharing. "I'm gonna go and ask room service for some chamomile tea, Mr. Garfiel always said that's good to help with sleeping, okay?" Ivy said gently as she sat Winry down on the bed. "Akasha and I'll be right back."

Winry's hands were painfully tight around Ivy's own. "I'll be right back, I promise."

After a few moments of coaxing and setting the newspaper down on the bed Ivy was planning on sharing with Akasha, she and Akasha headed to the desk. "I asked you if there was anything wrong with Hughes." Ivy spat quietly. "I asked you this shit before we fuckin' got here, Akasha."

"Look, if you're thinking that this was your fault it isn't. Hughes was gonna die in the story, already. I just didn't want you to think-"

"That's not the fuckin' point, Akasha." Ivy halted, when they were far enough from Winry's room that they couldn't be overheard.

Akasha's look of pity was highly unwelcomed when it was turned Ivy's way. "I was really hurt too when this happened, alright? A lot, it always hits different when I would get to the episode where-"

"Oh my f-"

"But if it weren't for Hughes death, then they wouldn't have figured out the real problems going around with the villains manipulating everything and-"

"Akasha, you're acting like these niggas are still fuckin' characters in a book!" Ivy was barely able to keep her loud whisper from becoming a shriek at how coldly Akasha was rationalizing this. "They have fuckin' feelings and-"

"And they don't know that!" Akasha whispered back, brow furrowed. "I'm upset too but I can't just let that upset turn into me saying something I can't. You can barely lie about your situation without getting caught, how can I tell you if you would just look depressed the whole time!?"

Ivy wished she had a sharp comeback.

"Exactly." Akasha snapped. "You wear your heart on your sleeve and all me telling you would do is result in everyone finding out everything about us. And I'm not risking that." With that, Akasha stomped forward and Ivy dragged her feet after her, thinking of Winry in 503 and the looks Edward and Alphonse had given them after they had seen the article.

They were all more than just fictional characters.

Author's Note

And another chapter arrives and Hughes' death has finally been revealed, a major blow to the group. Well, a majority of the group cough AKASHA cough.

This chapter, I've really been forward to writing and dragging out of the outline because it it really underlines a central disconnect Akasha has with everyone else from the world of FMA. She still seeing these people as characters rather than actual people who have wills of their own. Though I can admit, Akasha does have her points. Hughes' death really did serve as a catalyst that led to Father and the Homunculi's plans being discovered, his death truly was inevitable, and this is all just following a plot. But Ivy's points can stand as well in that once you actually get to know Edward, Alphonse, and Winry as Edward, Alphonse, and Winry the PEOPLE, it's a lot harder to just look at them as just characters on a manga panel.

I wanted them both to have good points on this that a reader could go 'tbh they both have truth to their statements so technically no one is wrong here'. One moment, Akasha and Ivy are mending the rift between them and then suddenly the shit is right to growing riftier. Just perfect uwu.

Also, watch Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts on Netflix if you haven't already. I want it to get a season 3.

Sam: Thanks so much for the compliment, I'm glad you thought last chapter was a good one! I really enjoyed writing it too. Ling is another one of those characters who, despite initial first impressions as a goof ball, is actually very observative and shrewd and I love it. And I also love that he does genuinely love his people and that bleeds into his character with their safety being far above of his own. So I thought he'd be able to give Ivy some unexpected wisdom that she was looking for! I look forward to showing more of their interactions off as well! I hope you have a good rest of your day as well, whenever you read this reply!

homelybiscuit: I hope the angst was delicious muwahahaha...

DeMonte Writes: First, I fucking love the name DeMonte. Second, I'm happy that you decided to stick with the story even when the first handful of chapters didn't really catch your attention. There really are a lack of Winry-centered fics, and I'm glad I decided to take that route over the typical OCs inserted into the world of FMA route because you're absolutely right in that the OCs themselves usually never did anything useful. Ever. Which is why I wanted to cover that first when Ivy went to Central the first time that she is better off doing her own thing than trying to tack herself into the situations. Akasha is symbolic of those FMA super fans and those OCs as she tries to insert herself into things she honestly has no business being in and gets brushed to the side. I wanted that to be their main conflict with one another with Akasha holding onto her super fan ways and wanting to live the life she carefully wove together in her fics and Ivy's differences with not having this information Akasha does and actually viewing the characters of FMA as people versus characters in a plot she already knows. I'm really planning on having fun with this as the story progresses.

5directionalpilots: I'm glad you were able to find me this story again! Your comments were a real treat to read the first time around and I'm happy the story is continuing to please you! I hope that this chapter gave a good indicator as to what kind of problems Akasha will be supplying.
