Nagi, Fret, Rindo, and the rest of the gang (save for Minamimoto and Neku) had gathered in the Hachiko Cafe for their "Biweekly Wicked Twisters Meetup." Minamimoto never came, in fact they have never seen the Grim Heaper since the Reaper's Game. No one knew what happened to him or if he was still in Shibuya at all. Neku would've come too, but he has been spending more time with Shiki to make up for lost time. Other than that, Neku hangs out with Beat, Rhyme, and Shiki as a group leaving Shibuya's newest saviors to fend for themselves.

Rindo and Shoka were off in their own conversation about FanGo after the revelation that Shoka was Swallow all along. Fret interjected himself into the conversation where he saw fit so he wouldn't be completely left out. Rindo was his friend to begin with after all. Shoka will have to share.

Beat was eating, offering up comments here and there in reaction and Nagi was content to play Elestra on her phone.

She had played Lord Tomonami's route so many times and lately there hadn't been any updates. Although Tomonami was Nagi's beloved (and the object of her affection) she begrudgingly started a new route with Elestra's other bachelor. It pained her to do so but she was so starved for new Elestra content and had grown desperate. At least with romancing the other love interest she could see new dialog from Lord Tomonami in response.

Now bored with trying to keep up with Rindo, Fret, and Shoka's conversation, Beat looks over his shoulder to Nagi who was on his right.

"Yo Pinny," he eyes her hunched form. "Whatchu up to?"

Nagi simply adjusted her glasses, not meeting his gaze. If it were anybody else, this would come off as rude. But this was Nagi and Beat's feelings weren't so easily hurt. "I am engaging with Elestra. T'wouldn't be very interesting to you."

Beat shrugged. "Maybe not but, sure beats tryin' to talk about a different game I know nothin' about with those three."

Now, Nagi looked up. "You would like to engage in a one-on-one conversation with me?"

"Uh… if that's Pinny language for talk, then yeah." Beat offered up one of his warm smiles. He hardly spoke to Nagi like this since the Reaper's Game. Surprisingly, she tolerated him despite being leagues behind her intellect. But Nagi could tell that Beat was a good person who saw the best in everyone, not like how she viewed Fret at first. She was a phenomenal people reader after loads of people watching (and Elestra) and had gathered that Beat once dealt with self doubt but he was in a much better place now. So, she straightened up and held her phone over the table for Beat to see.

The screen showed her engaging with a certain blonde love interest in dialogue.

Beat squinted, something seemed familiar about this character but he couldn't quite place it… that is, until he adjusted his hair from his eyes.

That character… It looks just like him!

Hot embarrassment made the hairs on Beat's arms stand up. He was grateful to be wearing a hoodie so Nagi wouldn't see. But she could still sense his discomfort.

"Hey Pinny…" Beat started, choosing his words carefully. "Doesn't that… guy, look familiar to you?"

Nagi tilts her head inquisitively. "Hmm?"

Beat tugged at his hoodie's collar and gulped, "Like… uh, don't you think he kinda looks like me?"

Nagi's cheeks tinged pink but she remained composed. "T'would seem so. Merely a coincidence."

"Like how the dude on your backpack and your pins looks a lot like Tabooty?" Tabooty was Beat's nickname for Minamimoto, a callback to his first time in the Reaper's Game when Minamimoto turned himself into a Taboo Noise. But Nagi didn't know that.

Nagi raises her brows. "Are you referring to Lord Tomonami?"

"Uh… sure."

"Then both are merely a coincidence as I said."

Beat rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "So what exactly do you do in Electstraw?"

"Elestra." Nagi corrects him.

"Yeah, yeah. That."

Nagi put down her phone and gave Beat her full attention so she could explain the plot of Elestra thoroughly. She lightly touches on the romantic subplot of choosing a character to ultimately end up with. Her number one choice is Lord Tomonami of course, she tells him. She was just picking a different route. Unlike Tomonami, this other character was stoic, unsmiling in all of the promotional art. He was prim and properly dressed. Beat's total opposite.

"So basically," Beat screwed up his face in thought. "You're talking up the guy who looks like me so you could date him?"

"Well… yes, essentially. But that is all, he just looks like you. I don't have any affection toward him specifically anyway." Nagi explained. Her words were ironic. Even though Nagi knew Lord Tomonami was purely fictitious as well, she let her affections for him affect her perception of Sho Minamimoto. Beat on the other hand, she saw Beat for himself and not the character.

Beat let out a breath of relief. "Jeez Pinny, had me thinking you secretly had the hots for me or somethin'." he joked.

Nagi picked up her phone and continued the Elestra chapter. "T'would be very arrogant of you to think so."

"Bwaa一? How come?"

Nagi smirked slightly, the shine of her glasses obscuring her eyes. "I would never go for one of your types.

Beat did a double take. "A-and Tabooty is?"

Nagi shrugged. "Technically no, Elestran Tomonami is very different from the Shibuya one." Her lip twitched. "He barely acknowledged my existence when he was here and his love for mathematics was a surprise to be sure."

"But he ain't even a good person," Beat objects, "I thought you were good at readin' people Pinny."

Nagi stiffened. "I-i am!" But it was true, she let Elestra fog up her reading skills on Minamimoto. He left them during the game and sure he helped them in the end to save Shibuya, but only because Kubo was getting in the way of his own desires. He even attacked the Wicked Twisters at some point and that was how they ended up finding Neku. Beat could have pressed on about this but he let it go, Minamimoto was long gone and they were finally happy. No need to soil that.

"And hey! What did you mean by 'your types.'" Beat reminds her, feigning offence. "What exactly is my type?!"

Nagi's eyes widened as she grew flustered. "I-i一 well… um…" She was at a loss for words when confronted with the need to explain herself. She didn't want to say anything rude to Beat, he was her friend and she never treated him like she once treated Fret.

Despite it all, Beat was laughing. "Yeah, that's what I thought."
