This chapter will go over the chosen ones being born. Yes. There are two. You'll see. I'm gong to create a poll for their starter pokemon. Please go and vote. Thanks!

"Arceus! Arceus! It's finally happening," a childish voice said. Arceus looked up and noticed a pink feline pokemon flying into his throne room. The excited pokemon was none other than Mew, the ancestor of all Pokemon. In her haste to talk to Arceus, she flew right past him into the wall before falling down to the floor. She got up immediately with an embarrassed smile on her face.

Arceus sighed at Mew's antics, before asking her, "What is happening Mew. Why are you so excited today."

"Today is the day that the chosen one will finally be born, Arceus," Mew said happily as she took a seat upon her throne. "Who have you picked to carry out this task, Arceus."

"I must talk to you about that," Arceus said. "There will be two chosen ones, and they are -"

"WHAT? TWO OF THEM?" Mew interrupted as she almost fell off her throne in surprise. "What's the need for two."

"I was getting there, before you interrupted me," Arcues said to a sheepish Mew. "The chosen ones are twins, and will be born to one of my greatest human friends. A man who has gone out of his way to help people and pokemon across the world."

"Wait. you don't mean-"

"Yes. The chosen ones will be born to Sir Aaron's wife, Delia Ketchum," Arceus said. The same Sir Aaron who went to the tree of life and gave you his aura in order to stop the war between the Kanto and Hoeen regions."

Mew knew who he was talking about. Sir Aaron was a legendary aura Guardian. He had started his training at the age of 5, and before 15, he was the most skilled aura user in the world. He and his trust partner Lucario shared an incredible bond, stronger than any other trainer had with their pokemon. Years ago, the Kanto and Hoenn regions had been at war. A large Hoenn army was rushing to the Kingdom of Rota in the Kanto region and the Kanto army was ready to meet the attack head on. Sir Aaron on the other hand, wanted to end the war and knew that there was only one way to end it. Sealing his trust partner Lucario in his staff, he went to the tree of life, where he gave his aura to Mew. Mew used it to prevent the war, making Kanto and Hoeen friends and allies. But releasing his Aura took up everything sir Aaron had, and the legendary aura guardian passed away after saving the lives of millions of people and pokemon.

"These 2 children will become incredible aura guardians just like their father before them," Arceus continued. "They will go on to do incredible things, and go on long journeys, helping out any people and pokemon they find along the way."

"Wow. Can we go and meet them," Mew asked.

"Don't worry. You will get to meet them soon," Arceus said.

Delia woke up at the crack of dawn, feeling that something wasn't right. She kept on feeling that something good was going to happen today. Ever since yesterday evening weird things had been happening around Delia, most of them involving pokemon that otherwise were not comfortable around humans. She was still wondering why this was happening and what would happen next. Her mind wandered back to the incident from last night.

Delia was just coming back from Professor Oak's Lab. She had gone there to visit some of the pokemon. Most of the pokemon there loved Delia. She would help professor Oak feed them and take care of them as well. On her way back home she noticed that a small fire had started close to her house. She started running over, hoping nothing would have happened to her house, when suddenly a large group of water type pokemon came from behind her. They used powerful water gun and bubble beams attacks, effectively putting out the fire before smiling at her and leaving.

Ring Ring Ring, Ring Ring Ring, Phone call, Phone call.

Delia was brought out of her reminiscing by the ringing of her telephone. "Hello, This is Delia Ketchum speaking," She said.

"Hello Delia. It's me. Professor Oak."

"Oh. Hi professor, Did you need something from me," Delia asked, wondering why the professor had called her so early in the morning.

"Yes, I was wondering if you could drop down to my lab in a little while to help me take care of some of the pokemon," the professor asked.

"Oh of course. I'll be glad to come right after i'm done with breakfast." Delia said as she put some bread in the toaster.

"Ok perfect. See you soon, Delia," Professor Oak said. A clicking sound was heard as he hung up. Delia quickly got up and brought herself some cereal and milk. She quickly ate it before beginning her walk to the Oak Laboratory. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was going to happen along the way.

Along the way, she saw a wild Nidorino fighting with a Nidorina. "Hey stop that." She said to the two pokemon. "You'll get hurt." Delia was surprised when both of the pokemon immediately stopped fighting and bowed.

A couple minutes later, she came upon the new construction project. The residents of pallet town had employed some workers to build a new pokemon center in Pallet town, and the work was very slow and tiring. Just as Delia got there, a large group of fighting type pokemon showed up. The workers started to cower, thinking they were getting attacked, but the pokemon ended up helping the workers out instead. At first the workers were very surprised but then started to pitch in as well. The 7 month project was finished in less than an hour.

As Delia reached the professor's lab, she started to feel a slight pain in her stomach, before it vanished. Delia was pregnant, and she was running close to 9 months. She knew she was about to have twins, and was very excited for it.

Delia rang the bell, and the door was opened a couple moments later by an old man with spiky brown hair. He was wearing a white lab coat, underneath which was a red T-shirt. He was also wearing tan pants with some black shoes. This man was Professor Oak, a world renowned pokemon researcher. Often considered the most knowledgeable man in the world, professor Oak spent his time doing research on Pokemon and taking care of any pokemon sent to him by other trainers. He had built his laboratory and pokemon ranch in Pallet Town.

Along with his job as a researcher, he was also the one who gave new Kanto trainers their first pokemon. The trainers could choose from 3 different pokemon which were quite rare to be found in the wild. These pokemon, called the starter pokemon, were Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle.

Charmander was a lizard pokemon. He had 2 hands and feet and was mostly orange, except for some white on his stomach and the bottom of his tail. He had a small flame on his tail, and it is said that a charmander dies if his tail flame goes out. Bulbasaur was a green 4 legged pokemon. He had a small plant growing on his back. Bulbasaurs could utilize this plant to use powerful grass type moves such as solarbeam and harness energy from the sun. The last pokemon, squirtle was a turtle. Squirtle had a blue body. His hard shell was tan on the bottom, and brown on the top. He could withstand many strong attacks by withdrawing into his shell.

Professor Oak invited Delia into the house and offered her some coffee. After the refreshing drink, they both went out into the ranch area of the Oak labs. The ranch area was home to hundreds of pokemon from the Kanto region. Many of these pokemon belonged to trainers that were on their journeys. They send their other pokemon to the lab since they could only keep 6 pokemon with them at a time.

Professor Oak went to a large shed and pulled out several sacks of pokemon food. There were different foods for each type of Pokemon. He gave half of them to Delia who quickly handed out the food to the pokemon. After finishing up, they took the pokemon one by one and started to help them train as well.

Delia used to be a good trainer earlier. She had won the Kanto league and challenged the elite 4. She defeated all of them except for Agatha, who only had 1 pokemon left at the end of the battle. Still, she decided to reject the offer to become a member of the elite 4 in order to settle down with her husband, Sir Aaron.

Delia helped the pokemon practice their old moves, and also helped some of them upgrade their moves to the next level. For example, She helped a growlithe turn his small ember into a flame burst attack, and a fearow to turn her wing attack into aerial ace.

Soon, Delia and Professor Oak were done taking care of all the pokemon, so they sat down in the laboratory. As they were discussing, Delia suddenly had severe pain in her stomach. "Ahh" She screamed in pain.

"Delia!" Professor Oak cried with worry. "What happened. What's wrong, my child."

"My stomach really hurts. Please take me to the hospital," Delia said through her pain. Professor Oak immediately went to the phone and called the doctor. "They'll be here soon Delia. Hold on," Professor Oak said. A couple minutes later, an ambulance pulled up outside of the Oak Laboratories. The doctors inside pulled out a stretcher and carefully placed the now unconscious Delia onto the stretcher. Professor Oak and another doctor sat in the back with the stretcher, as they drove to the hospital.

Once they got there, they quickly sent Delia into the emergency room. The second she stepped inside, an unfamiliar energy could be felt around the hospital, but it didn't seem to be making much of a difference yet. Professor Oak was sent to the waiting room where he waited worriedly to see what would happen. He had a feeling that it was time for the delivery and he was very excited to meet the twins. He quickly called his granddaughter Daisy, who was very good friends with Delia. He knew that she would want to meet the children too.

-Meanwhile in the Hall of origin-

Meanwhile in the hall of origins, Arceus was sitting on his throne when the foundation of the hall started to shake. Arceus focused all his power and stabilized the hall. He knew that only one thing could have caused this. The chosen ones were about to be born. He knew that the legendaries should witness the birth of the next Chosen One, and called out to them all. "LEGENDARIES. TO THE HALL OF ORIGIN. NOW." Arceus said.

One by one, lots of different legendary pokemon started appearing into the throne room. They all took their seats upon their respective thrones, surprised that Arceues had called them all here together.

To Arceus's right and left were Dialgo and Palkia, the pokemon of Space and Time. The three seats next to Dialga had the weather trio, Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza. Next To Palkia were the Tao trio, Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem. After these pokemon The eon twins, Latios and Latias sat across from each other. With Meloetta, Victini, Manaphy, and other smaller pokemon by their sides. Towards the end, the last of the legendaries sat. These included the genesect, the Swords of Justice, as well as other mythical pokemon.

All of them had come here at Arceus's calling, and had responded immediately when they realized that they were here to discuss the birth of the chosen one. All of the legendaries were excited to witness the birth of the chosen one, and had gathered in one place to celebrate.

"LEGENDARIES. TODAY MARKS THE ARRIVAL OF THE CHOSEN ONES." Arceus said. "DELIA KETCHUM IS IN THE HOSPITAL GIVING BIRTH AS WE SPEAK. I HEREBY REQUEST YOU ALL TO STAY HERE AND WITNESS THE BIRTH OF THE CHOSEN ONES TOGETHER.

The younger pokemon immediately started to celebrate. They had heard stories of what the chosen ones could do, but had never witnessed it in person, being too young to see them in action. Now they would finally get the chance to see him."

Mew, Meloetta, and Victini moved closer to arceus to get a better view. "Mother, what is this powerful energy throughout the room?" Meloetta inquired. "Does it have anything to do with the chosen ones?"

Arceus looked to his daughter and answered, "THIS IS A LITTLE BIT OF THE POWER HIDDEN INSIDE OF THEM. THE POWER OF THEIR INCREDIBLE AURAS. EVEN THOUGH THEY AREN'T EVEN BORN YET, THEIR AURAS ARE STILL SO POWERFUL. I CAN'T IMAGINE HOW IT WILL BE WHEN THEY ARE GROWN UP."

"This is all their power we are feeling?!" Victini's already large, rounded eyes seemed to get even bigger as she realized the true extent of the chosen ones powers.

Arceus nodded in reply but suddenly looked back towards the vision from the Hospital. The other two Legendaries looked toward Delia's bed right as the energy in the room became stronger by tenfold. It knocked many of the doctors and nurses off of their feet, leaving the legendary pokemon surprised as to the sudden increase in power.

The delivery room was absolutely chaotic. Delia had been unconscious for many hours, but was finally close to giving birth to her children. Professor Oak was with Daisy and his granddaughter outside in the waiting room. The doctors had realized immediately that there was something unusual with this birth.

As soon as Delia was taken to the delivery room, she began the slow, exhausting and painful process of having a baby. It was even worse for her since she had 2 babies, not just one. The atmosphere of the entire room drastically changed the second the delivery process began.

The air began to feel thick and heavy and a nearly visible energy radiating power was felt through the entire room.

The doctors and nurses working with Delia began to find it harder and harder to breathe. They felt as though their bodies were weighing them down. Even Professor Oak and the other occupants had become affected by the strange energy even though they weren't inside.

The medical staff had to form shifts with other doctors and nurses, who were on leave, just so they could rest and recover as the energy rapidly drained their strength.

No one was able to stay in the delivery room for longer than a couple minutes. Those who tried would lose consciousness and would have to be brought outside by the others. No one knew what was going on. They tried to blame it on natural reasons such as the air quality in the room or the long, hard hours worked or the heat outside. The only one not affected by this strange energy was Delia herself.

"Mrs ketchum," one of the doctors. "When I say so, I need you to push to try to bring out the baby, okay?"

All Delia could do in her state was nod to show that she had understood, and would try her best. Once the doctor gave the signal, She began to push, screaming in agony the whole time as the first baby started to come out. "AHHHHH" With one final bloodcurdling scream, Delia finally managed to push it out. Immediately a loud cry was heard throughout the delivery room.

This was all Delia could do though, as she once again became unconscious. The doctors were forced to use suction to pull the baby out. Another loud cry was hurt, as the energy in the room suddenly dissipated, allowing everyone to breathe normally once again.

Knowing that his chosen ones were finally born, Arceus had decided to go down to earth to visit them. As he was preparing to go to Earth, Mew, Meloetta and Victini came up to him. "Yes? What can I do for you all?" Arceus asked them.

The 3 looked at each other nervously, and then back at Arceus. Then they spoke at the same time,"Can we please come with you and see the chosen ones for ourselves?!

The mighty Pokémon just looked at Mew, Victini and Meloetta. They looked so nervous and hopeful, that he wasn't able to say no. Not that he wanted to.

"Of course. You can all come along if you wish to see them in person." The small legendaries began celebrating at that. "But!" Arceus interrupted their celebration. "We cannot be seen no matter what. Therefore, we must all remain invisible at all times. Understood?"

They nodded to show that they had understood, before the four of them stepped into the portal together.

A little while later, Delia had woken up and was resting comfortably in her room. Professor Oak and Daisy were sitting by her side on some chairs next to her bed. At that moment, a nurse came inside and brought the two babies with her. Both looked very similar to each other. One of them had raven black hair, just like his father. This was Ash Ketchum, younger by just a couple seconds. The second one had lighter hair in a similar style as Ash's. This child was named Red. Both of them shared some characteristics such as their height, weight, and three Z-like marks on both of their cheeks.

A few hours later, Delia Ketchum was fast asleep. Delivering two babies had taken its toll on her and she was exhausted. Just a couple minutes after that, a silvery portal appeared inside of the room, and 4 figures stepped out of it. These were Arceus, Mew, Victini, and Meloetta.

The 4 legendaries looked lovingly towards the small infants sleeping fitfully in cribs. "Hello My Chosen ones," Arceus said. "I have been waiting for thousands of years for you to arrive. You are both destined to do great things, and make lasting bonds with people and pokemon across the world."

She looked at them with warmth and passion in her eyes. "Anytime you need my help, I shall always be there for the both of you. But right now, I leave you with a small parting gift." Arceus lowered her head and closed her eyes. She started to glow a golden color. A couple moments later, the 2 infants started glowing the same color as Arceus. I have given you both a very special gift. The ability to talk to, and understand Pokemon. "I look forward to seeing your achievements"

Arceus pushed Mew, Victini and Meloetta to the front in order to give them the chance to see the children in person. "We shall see you both again soon. Until then, sleep well. Good luck," Arceus said before opening another portal. The legendaries stepped through, returning to the Hall of Origin.

In their cribs, the 2 children continued to sleep soundly, unaware of what had just happened. Little did they know that a great destiny lay before them. One which would shake the foundations of the whole Pokemon World.

Hi guys. I hope you enjoyed the chapter. This is my first time writing a pokemon story, so it may not be as good, but I promise it'll get better. Peace out. see you all next time.
