Chapter 2
Adapting
In the following week not much happened. He had his first 30 contracts, most of them were about having him demonstrate his power so he would just do the flashy moves he had and teleport out. Lucifer was his repeat customer. Funnily enough Naruto told Lucifer he would be able to get rid of the paperwork if he had a clone of himself so Lucifer and him were creating theories behind how to use magic for the purpose of creating clones. They had been making progress over the week but they just didn't have enough time to focus on the subject long enough. Naruto was learning about the theory behind magic itself and asked Rias and Akeno for demonstrations with their abilities. So he could learn more about how magic worked and magic theory.
Naruto's emotional state took a nosedive late one night when he started to think about what had happened. He thought about how he would be able to face all the shinobi in the afterlife. If he just peaked right here, how could he look any other shinobi in the eyes? They all gave their lives for this, all the living beings in his world gave their lives for this he wouldn't dare stop. He wanted to become the best in every single subject he could possibly be, to be damned with everything else.
He wanted to match Shizune in medical jutsu, he wanted to be able to look her in the eyes and see pride and love in hers. He wanted to become a world renowned actor to match Koyuki, he smiled remembering when she always told him she wanted him to star in more movies alongside her, and he would, he would make sure they got to star in any movies together. Shion always told him her goal was to travel the nations with him, she wanted to see more, far more than the village she spent her entire life in though she loved it so, so he would travel this world. Ayame, she wanted to continue her father's legacy god bless his ramen making soul. She wanted to run that small family owned store and she wanted him to run it with her. So he would become a chef, and entrepreneur. Capable of making her anything and everything she wanted while running the store down so she only needed to do the things she loved and they could pass the restaurant on to their child in the future. Ryuzetsu, told him her goal, she said it was a stupid goal but when she did Naruto flicked her forehead, her goal in life was to be a botanist. She loved nature and she wanted to spend her life in Konoha with him surrounded by the beautiful nature. Not only would be become the most knowledgeable botanist but he would somehow use wood release.
That was just for them as well, he had over 20,000 ninja to make proud. He wanted to master every aspect of being a shinobi and more. He had been theory crafting a durable clone that could regenerate its own chakra. Sadly the closest he had come was sealing some of his chakra for a later time. So he sealed half his chakra and created a shadow clone telling it to theorize a way to make it possible and once it had the idea it was to dispel. He couldn't stop thinking about it though, he couldn't eat, he couldn't sleep, he didn't drink, he didn't answer any calls in person he would send a shadow clone, he wouldn't respond to Rias or Akeno's teasing. He would only give yes or no responses to the others, if the question wasn't yes or no, he wouldn't respond.
"Naruto we need you to come with us so we can back Issei up because he is going to get himself killed if we don't do anything." Rias grabbed his hand and Naruto was brought back to reality. "Hai. . ." Was his monotone response as Akeno and Rias teleported with him to the church front. A girl was there in a maid outfit. . . complaining about having to stand watch. She jumped down and struck a pose saying "My name is Mittelt the fallen angel. Come forth Karawarner! Dohnaseek!" As they came forward from a portal Naruto started laughing.
"Sorry I just cannot believe you are really that stupid, I have a lot on my mind lately and even I am not as stupid as you while you are trying to theorize." He opened his mouth to continue speaking but as he took a step forward he passed out falling flat on his face into the ground. "Naruto/Naru-sama!" They both yelled to his prone form, Rias immediately rushed his body and cradled his head while Akeno started blocking the attacks, gritting her teeth from three fallen angels hitting her shield.
"Ugh, what the fuck happened?" Naruto said as he picked himself up from the ground and looked around. He was in a very familiar sewer he knew was his mindscape. "Oh shit the clone dispelled, well it has been a few days getting all that information. At least I know that they can hold the lines for a bit."
"Greetings, Hero." A feminine voice said from behind him. Naruto turned to see a woman wrapped in a black cloak with a scythe at her back. "I am the goddess known as the shiganami, as you know my realm is death and after watching you since you got here I think now is the time to do this. Your women, they are in my possession personally in return from killing all those reincarnations along with the people who were reincarnating people. I hope you can understand how absolutely fucking annoying it is to have spirits, especially the third and fourth Hokage's who I have specially trapped. Along with Itachi who I keep a special eye on. Your women are given a special view of your life and they must talk to you. Also speaking of Itachi, I have a weapon I want to give you that is much like his Totsuka blade, it will send those you kill directly to my domain. This means they cannot be revived in any way, this is more like a partnership not a gift. The blade will be able to take whichever form pleases you whenever and cannot hurt you.
The weapon will technically become your sacred gear but you will be able to unlock it. Now I will give you your actual gift, your women want to speak with you. Furthermore Hero, when you pass on your soul will go to my realm along with your women, the ones now and however many more you may have. Now as I said before, your women want to speak with you."

"I WILL FREE HER!" He groaned, hearing Issei in the distance as he wobbled onto his feet. As he started looking around he realized no one was there and looked up at the sky with a smile. Thank you, thank you all. He thought to himself as he started moving towards the church. Come on move. As he took one step after another he started to feel the strain building up and pumped chakra into his legs and feet to move faster. As he arrived he saw Issei crying over the body of a girl, she was dressed as a nun, or well would be if most of her clothes weren't torn.
Rias stood over the girl attempting to make her a bishop but nothing would happen. She kept trying to put more and more magic power in. A female fallen angel started to beg for her life limping back in. Issei's body stiffened like a board and as she begged for forgiveness he simply turned his back to her and continued holding the girl crying. Naruto gave a sad smile and made his decision, This is worth it sorry Jiraiya-sensei. A large scythe behind him as he said "Fallen angel, your life is forfeit." Everyone turned to look at Naruto as he cleaved the woman's head clean of her shoulders shooting blood everywhere.
Issei started shivering looking at Naruto and he said "W-why did you do that!? She surrendered! She wasn't going to hurt anyone!" Naruto turned the scythe into a cane and continued moving over. "S-step aside." Issei didn't move and Naruto said "Relax, I'm not going to hurt her. Just stand aside unless you want your soul accidentally drained from your body." Issei put her body down gently and stood off to the side as everyone watched in confusion. Naruto turned the cane into a tanto and sliced off his pinky finger, shooting blood everywhere. "Shinigami, I have a favor to ask of you, come forth."
The blood latched onto the blade slowly catching it as the blade turned from the onyx black to a crimson red. A magic circle appeared in gray and a woman in a dark robe appeared. "What is it you ask of me Hero?"
"My friend in the blond has fallen in combat, for her soul I have given you another one but I will give you another 100 wicked souls to counter her pure soul." Gasps were heard from around the room as the shiganami opened her hood, pale skin almost vampire-like, dark red lipstick framed her plump lips, her pitch black eyes that showed an endless void, her long silver hair flowed behind her. A smile appeared on her face, "I like working with you Naruto. You whose hands have killed thousands. You still are a pure soul. You may restore her soul, just remember your end of the deal."
She vanished as if nothing had ever happened and Naruto knelt down and kissed the girl's forehead, sending her soul back into her body. He stood up and looked at his hand and started pumping Kurama's chakra through it in order to regenerate the limb. His pain filled screams tore the air and he fell to one knee panting looking down at his hand he saw the injury had already finished healing. "M-make her a bishop now." He started to stand wobbling and once more as he almost fell he was caught in the arms of someone, the last thing he saw was their beautiful red hair.
"Ugh fucking hell, I really gotta stop passing out." Naruto said as he scratched his head in confusion. As he opened his eyes he saw Rias's entire patronage (At the current time) standing looking upset at him. "Well. . . I'm guessing you want to talk to me about something?" He said with a light chuckle as Rais yelled "Yes you idiot!? You didn't think to tell me you could revive people from the dead!? Why did you pass out earlier!? What other things are you hiding from me!?"
"I passed out because I had a shadow clone living for days attempting to figure something out for me, he finally figured it out but there were so many memories that it knocked me out. It happens sometimes thankfully I didn't die, it has a chance of doing that on occasion. When I passed out I met the goddess of death and she told me she gave me a weapon and we talked for a bit. If I hurt myself with this weapon I am able to summon her. I can make a deal or deals with her. Obviously as you saw before the deal is pretty steep so I'd prefer to never have to use it but if I have to I do. As for what else I am hiding, well you can ask me whatever you want but not to brag or anything but if I talked to you about everything I could do with my chakra we would be here for years and just barely scratch the surface of ninjutsu. Anything else you wanna ask?" Naruto said wanting to be as transparent as possible, not telling anyone about Shinigami's gift to him.
"Why did the Shinigami choose you? Surely there are better candidates?" This came from Issei and Naruto could hear a bit of jealousy but he could tell it was because she was really really attractive.
"Issei, I am the strongest thing in this dimension. Probably multiple dimensions actually. The world I came from I was a warrior who has been killing since I was 12. My first time killing was on a mission where a girl I considered my first love was stabbed through the chest by my sensei. I held her as she bled out in my arms. An army of thugs who were trying to stop us from saving the country tried to stop us. I killed each and every single one of them. The man who ordered it? As he begged for mercy I punched him in the chest so hard I collapsed a lung so all he could do was struggle to breathe while I threw him to the country of those he killed who tortured him for hours. That day, I had dropped 102 bodies on my own.
My world was violent, it was horrible, there were no rules of war. I was forced to destroy an entire village, full of women and children. 1,000 people who had nothing to do with the war. I was 13 Issei, can you even imagine doing that now? Let it be known I hate killing, every single life I take I feel it weighing down my soul. I was supposed to be the savior of my world. On my birthday was the day my entire planet was destroyed. The only reason I haven't killed myself is because I don't deserve death. The reason the gods all call me a hero is because I killed something that was powerful enough to bring all the gods and goddesses together, from Kami, to Zeus, hell even your brother came.
Every single god told me personally they owed me several favors for what I did. Acted like it was some kind of amazing thing I did. . ." Naruto stared off into space for a moment before giving his old fake smile. "Sorry about that, I'm just that awesome!"
He looked around at all of them. They were all crying and Kiba kneeled down at his feet. Naruto looked down at him confused and Kiba said, "Naruto, I understand what it feels like to be the last survivor. Now I understand why your eyes look so familiar, they are a lot like my own."
Naruto was reminded of when he beat Gaara and with tears in his eyes he knelt down and said, "Stand Otouto." Kiba gave a fake pout saying "Aw why am I the little brother! I'm older than you huh?"
"Gaara hated it too, but I am afraid that you are my Otouto. Also, thank you Kiba. It means a lot knowing with everything I've done, I can still have a brother." Naruto said with tears in his eyes as he hugged Kiba.
He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see Rais for a moment. Next thing he knew all he could taste was strawberry cake. His body moved on instinct and he wrapped his arms around her and kissed back. As they pulled back a string of saliva pulled with them as a light blush took over her cheeks. "D-don't forget about us too! You are a member of my patronage. Naruto no matter what you do in life you have me." A blush overtook his features as what she just said registered in his head along with the kiss and next thing he knew.
"Ahh!" Rias was thrown to the side and he felt lips on his once again. They tasted like a delicious dark chocolate which he happily kissed back to. Before they could deepen the kiss she was flung to the side by an angry Rias. "What are you doing Akeno!?"
"Well you said he always had you and I've been wanting to give him some of me as well~ You aren't the only one who wants him and I'm not backing down." She said as she started gathering magic while Rias continued charging magic. Naruto sweatdropped "Um do I get a say in this?"
"NO!" They both yelled at the exact same time as everyone else started to sweatdrop and the room filled with golden and crimson energy. Naruto groaned as they shot magic at one another and in an instant he grabbed both their spells and broke them in his hands. "You know, bad girls get punishment~!" Before anyone knew it he was back to where he was standing holding his hand up with a smile. "EEP!" Issei looked at him with tears streaming down his face. "Naruto-sensei! Teach me how to become a harem master!"
Naruto turned around with a confused expression, eyes wide as saucers. "EH!?" The sound of laughing filled the room from all sides and the blond nun turned to Koneko. "Is it always like this?" She paused mid bite on a cookie and said "Yes." In her monotone and continued to munch on the cookie.
Timeskip
Naruto woke up today with a smile on his face, ever since he told his friends the truth he felt so much better. Not to mention Shinigami's deal with him gave him the peace of mind he needed. The night before he annihilated a gang that was terrorizing downtown Kuro. Thankfully the 60 people he killed led to other people and he ended up killing off their slave traders and suppliers. He reached his 100 kill mark and Shiginami was more than happy to accept his part of the deal.
He was a little more tired as he was out decently late, after he did that he began his job on the side. He wanted to continue the Icha Icha series. Thankfully with enough experience and a very healthy imagination he was able to make something he was sure his sensei would be proud of. But he didn't want it to just be full of smut, so he made an actual romantic story with very passionate scenes. He had an earth clone working on the story line and he decided to draw the scenes himself as he really did enjoy drawing; he just didn't have time to draw and write. Then not only that but he was looking into acting agencies, thankfully as a ninja he was already a very good actor, but for Koyuki he would be the best.
Rias and Akeno were arguing with one another a lot and making very bold moves on him both trying to 'stake their claim'. Until one day Akeno pulled Rias aside and after a conversation that Naruto made sure not to hear for their privacy. They were in the predicament they are in now. He looked to his left, a naked woman with dark purple hair. He looked to his right, a crimson haired woman in her birthday suit. Both holding onto him as he had his arms wrapped around their waists. They hadn't started going out or anything, but ever since he told them all the grim truth of his life. They just told him they wanted to sleep with him and they both just liked sleeping naked. He enjoyed sleeping naked as well but he wasn't ready for it, hence the black boxers with foxes and ramen on them.
'I know the girls want a relationship and I know my girls want one as well. But I just don't know yet it isn't like I don't care about them enough. It's just that I need more time, everything is just moving so fast.' Naruto thought to himself while he admired both Akeno and Rias's sleeping forms. He smiled and kissed both of their foreheads and said, "Come on you two it's morning time. You said we were going to get our familiars today so let's get on it."
Rias mumbled something inaudible while Akeno opened her eyes saying "Ara ara~ Waking us up like that~ A girl could get used to this." They both got up while Rias rubbed her eyes "Ugh, morning already? Damn I wanted more time cuddling you are like an actual furnace."
Akeno smiled "Our dear president isn't a morning person I'm afraid~ Should I punish her Naruto-sama~?" Rias blushed as Naruto struck a thinking pose and started humming. "Maybe, but then the breakfast would get cold." On que a Naruto opened the door striking a military salute. "The food is ready taicho!" The original decided to play along and said "Great job soldier! You may dispel now thank you for your service!"
As he gave a goofy grin and dispelled Rias said "I've been meaning to ask, but do your shadow clones have their own personalities? It's like none of them are actual copies of you but they are? Does that jutsu always work like that?"
"Well honestly no. . . I'm not sure why it works like that for me. Occasionally I've always had jutsu that is just different but in random ways. Like with my Henge, normally it works by covering the user's body with an illusion. Which means they cannot change their height or weight technically even if they do. It sounds complicated but if a ninja were henge into a smaller form, say a fox. If I punched where their head was normally I would hit them still because it is just an illusion. But for me if I turn into a fox, I have the same height, weight, I even get real fur. It's like an actual transformation. It's how I got the idea for my Oiroke jutsu."
Rias and Akeno respond looking at each other confused "Oiroke jutsu?" Oh I haven't shown it to you both yet. I used this jutsu to infiltrate slave trading rings. Naruto gets off the bed and says "Oiroke jutsu!" And purple smoke fills the room and dissipates showing a very beautiful naked blond haired girl. The signature whisker marks let them know it was Naruto with long blond hair in two pigtails on her left and right side.
She posed with a peace sign and said in a light silky soft voice "Ta-da~! I'm Naruko now. All my body is completely freakily real. With Naruko I am much more flexible so I was able to learn taijutsu for kunoichi as well as seduction techniques. Plus. . ." She gave a dark red blush and poked her fingers together in a very Hinata like fashion, muttering to herself "My fiances liked it sometimes. A-anyway what do you two think?"
Immediately with speed that her father would be jealous of she was tackled by Rias and Akeno as they touched all over her body. "Ahh~ Not there~ Stoppp~" Rias and Akeno jumped off in tandem and they angrily said "It's not fair!" Naruko tilted her head in confusion "Hm?" "You are hotter than us as a girl! Bigger tits! A more plump ass! That sexy hourglass figure! The way your tattoos show on your arm, stomach and chest!" They both said at the exact same time with faces red with embarrassment.
Naruko undid the jutsu and turned back and Naruto said "Oh these tattoos, well the one on my arm is the ANBU tattoo. It is a special ritual done for the special ops ninjas in my village. The one on my chest is a complex seal I made that increases the gravity on me and allows me to transfer the seal if I touch them mid-fight. The one on my stomach sealed Karuma into my body. But you girls are incredibly attractive. I don't think Naruko comes close. Maybe I should get her some piercings as well or something." He muttered and watched their anger fade as blushes took over their faces.
"L-lets go shower Rias!" Akeno said in a rare moment of embarrassment as she dragged Rais off into the shower. Naruto chuckled and headed down to his kitchen where he served the three of them and smelled the lunches he made for everyone. 'Hopefully this served you well Ayame-chan.' He finished sealing and cleaning the pot when Akeno and Rias came down the stairs immediately taking their seats and devouring his food. "Is my food that good?" He asked with a smile as he started eating.
"It's the best food I've ever eaten and we have devil chefs. Have you seen Gordon Ramsey? Imagine that but actually a devil. Devil chefs are all amazing." Rias said while Akeno nodded with a serious look on your face. "Once we achieve peace we could have our patronage open a restaurant. That might be fun!" Naruto gave a laugh as they ate.
As the bell rang Issei and Asia both moved towards Naruto. He wasn't paying attention; he was busy sketching away for his Icha Icha. He was in the middle of a rather. . . proactive scene, it didn't show naked bodies just very. . . well barely clothed still counts as naked. "Wow Aniki, that looks amazing!" Asia said with her ever present smile. "Hm oh this? Thanks imouto, I'm writing some books for my godfather's legacy and for a bit more money though I don't have to worry about it."
Issei looks down seeing him drawing and has a nosebleed. "Naruto-sensei! This is amazing! Keep it up! If you ever need a reader to give their opinions happily Naruto-sensei!" Naruto gave a toothy smile and told up putting his hand on Issei's head rubbing his head. "Maybe pervy-chan, maybe only because sensei would give Kaka-senpai his pre-released books."
Issei did a little dance that reminded Naruto of Jiraiya's own weird ass dance thing. Kiba walked in along with Koneko and they all walked to the club room together. "You know what would be really weird, Issei if you didn't take all 8 pawns we would actually have a lot more people. I don't like thinking about it. It's crazy to think about." Koneko said in her usual monotone "No one else could fit in our little group." They all couldn't help but nod with her; it would be incredibly weird.
"A-ano Aniki?" Asia said, lightly pulling Naruto's sleeve. "Yes Imouto?" Naruto responded with a concerned look. "How did you bring me back to life I forgot to ask?" Naruto scratched his head and said nervously "I made a deal with the god of death. I said for your life I would kill 100 wicked people." Asia looked at him with an unreadable expression "Y-you killed people for me? I-I wouldn't have wanted you to do that if I knew."
"Well when I caught them they were trafficking sex slaves and raping them. So I would have done it anyway. Thankfully it just all happened to work out." Naruto said matter-of-factly with a snap of his fingers. Asia looked at him cutely with a blush and said "It's okay then I wish you wouldn't kill so much though Aniki." Naruto gave a sad smile and said "I wish I didn't have to either, but some crimes I consider worth death rape and kidnapping are in my eyes."
The tone immensely changed thankfully once Rias announced they were getting their own familiars. "This is mine, I know Issei has seen her before, what about you both?" She says as a cute little bat floats above her hand. Then with a puff of smoke turns into a woman. Issei gives a nod and a perverted smile while Naruto looks at her appraisingly. Akeno says, "This is my summon." And a cute little imp spawns. "I even have the whole little family, it's so cute!" Koneko says "Here's Shiro." A cute little kitten appears in her hands that she is cradling." Kiba smiles and says "My summon is-"
"No one cares Kiba." Issei cuts him off, turning around while Kiba sweatdrops muttering about how cold what Issei did was. As Rias goes to explain how important it is, the door opens to show someone Naruto hadn't seen before. Normally he would be on guard but he can tell from her intent she is good friends with someone here.
Issei proceeded to get into an argument with another pawn about how many pieces they both took. Both were not listening to their leaders until Naruto released some KI making them instantly shiver in fear with a sickly sweet Anko-like smile. "Okay, that was barely any KI, now stop this pissing competition who gives a shit."
"Oh yeah, how many pieces did you take up?" Saji says with a shit eating grin on his face while Issei says "Actually what piece did you take Naruto-sensei?"
"Rias-chan, can I answer honestly?" Naruto says with the same smile on his face while Rias gets into a thinking pose and shrugs. "Sure why not?"
"I am a mutated piece that took every single piece on a chess set other than the king to make. When I came into the world Lucifer himself was looking over a highly well crafted chess set and I took literally all the pieces." Naruto said, smiling the entire time. Issei's eyes widened along with everyone in Sona's patronage.
"I-impossible." Saji said, taking a step back in alarm. "That can't happen!" Naruto within an instant was behind him poking his shoulder faster than anyone could react. "Really? Wow sorry Rias-chan I guess you gave me some random shogi piece then. Your brother must have lied. I mean if Saji says so. . ."
Everyone in Sona's patronage looked at him in shock while Rias's patronage just smiled. "Don't worry you get used to it after a while." Naruto decided to tease her and appeared right behind her and said huskily into her ear as he pulled her in wrapping his arms around her waist. "Oh you are used to it~ Should I tell them how you reacted the other day when I finished my contracts~?" She blushed a bright red and started stuttering then Naruto decided to push his luck. "Should I tell them how you kissed me passionately then~ How you sleep naked next to me every night~?"
Akeno jumped on his back pushing her assets into him saying "Maou~ I do it too. Why do you never say me N-a-r-u-t-o-sa-ma~" He then wrapped an arm around her and pulled them both into him saying "I'm a man of many talents I'm sure I can make it up to you somehow~" As both Akeno and Rias got nosebleeds imagining god knows what while Sona coughed with a blush "A-anyway. We should be heading out now, I just thought given we both have more pieces now we should introduce them."
"Ne Sona, you also want to get familiars don't you?" Naruto said as he watched her stop cold in her tracks. "Are you spying on me?" Sona said, pushing her glasses up in a very anime-like fashion. "First off, I'm a ninja, if I was you would have absolutely no idea I ever even thought about it. Second, no I ask because we were going to go sometime next week so maybe we could go together."
"Sadly that's impossible because he only takes a single patronage each month." Sona said spawning an all out tennis match between kings and queens in each patronage while Naruto was sidelined because it would be unfair. The match ended in a dead tie which again spawned a game called dodgeball. Naruto only played it once in P.E. and he liked it.
Issei made them headbands, they all stretched and got ready. All out chaos ensued with Naruto sweat-dropping at how out of control the game had gotten given their attitude for magic. Getting hit by any of the balls easily meant death. As shown when Issei was hit in the dick and yelped like a girl. Naruto put his hand on Issei's shoulder to comfort him. "Issei, would you like me to get vengeance for you?" Issei's face became completely serious as he bowed and said "Yes Naruto-sensei please!" Naruto stood and said "Everyone on my team exit the bounds right now."
Thankfully without questioning him they all got out and it was Naruto against all of them. He started channeling Kurama's chakra in his perfect Jinchuriki form and added his Sage of Six paths mode onto it. The powers alone being released crushed the ground all around him in a crater as he picked up the ball that hit Issei. "This is for pervy-chan!" As he threw the ball into the air he started doing hand signs faster than anyone else could see. "Windstyle: Humiliation Jutsu Stage One!" The ball disappeared and then the screams erupted. One-by-one the ball slammed into the private parts of every single member in Sona's patronage at an insanely fast pace. Each time the ball hit the speed caused so much friction it burned their clothes leaving their privates hanging out.
Sona was the last one starting to panic when the ball suddenly dropped in front of her. She bent over to pick it up and then it turned into a Naruto who screamed "ONE THOUSAND YEARS OF DEATH!" She screamed, feeling his fingers go into her ass and shot off his fingers like a cannonball landing on the floor with a smile on her face and her tongue hanging out of her mouth.
That Naruto dispelled as the real Naruto turned off both chakras and held the headband saying "YOU HAVE BEEN AVENGED PERVY-CHAN!" With manly tears coming out from his eyes. He looked to his Patronage and all of them were looking at him and shaking their heads in embarrassment. All but Akeno and Issei of course. Issei said "Thank you so much Naruto-sensei!" And Akeno said "What do I have to do to get that kind of punishment?" As a sickly sweet smile took over her features "Cause I won't regret doing whatever it takes to get that."
