A Seventh Child's Wish:

Harry Potter was not surprised when Madam Pomfrey made him get into one of the hospital beds. He wasn't even surprised when she said he would be there for at least three days but if she could, she would be pushing for him to stay for at least five days.

Harry didn't argue, which surprised Poppy Pomfrey because Harry always argued when she made him stay. He explained how sore he was and how exhausted he was. All he asked for was a shower, something to eat, then to sleep, for days. He also said he hoped no one disturbed him. Right then, he didn't want to talk about anything, he really just wanted to rest.

Poppy had given Harry the last bed which was closest to the bathroom. She also placed screens around his bed to give him privacy. Because Harry had killed voldemort, she knew everyone would want to see him and right now, Harry needed rest and he needed to heal.

After Harry showered and ate, he curled up under the blankets and that was the last thing he remembered.

Harry didn't know it but Molly Weasley got into a shouting match with Poppy. She was trying to take Harry home. Poppy was a healer and threatened Molly with kidnapping one of her injured patients, who was not related to Molly, she would call the aurors if she had to. Minerva McGonagall got involved and told Molly to leave hogwarts. Harry would not be going anywhere, not until she could speak with him to find out what he wanted. Harry was an adult and could decide what he wanted to do. Molly ended up scowling before she stormed out of the hospital and apparated to the Burrow to give her daughter the bad news. They would have to wait until Harry woke, which won't be until late the following day.

Harry did wake the next day but it was lunch time. After eating and having more potions, Minerva and Poppy explained about Molly and how she acted. Harry said he would rather stay at hogwarts until he was healed. He also said he would rather not have any visitors right now. He was just to exhausted to keep up a conversation with anyone especially someone like Mrs Weasley. That's all Minerva needed to know so she could tell Molly that Harry would not be going with her.

Over the next couple of days Molly and Ginny turned up trying to see Harry. Poppy refused them entry into the hospital to see him. She had moved Harry into the secure room at the back of the hospital, the one used by the staff. Only Poppy and Minerva could open the door from the outside, Harry could leave the room any time, but as he said, he was just too exhausted.

Minerva and Poppy told Harry about Molly and Ginny, so he knew what he had to do.

It was a few days later that Harry knew what he was going to do. He was healed so now was the time to leave. He waited until the middle of the night, then using his invisibility cloak, he snuck out of the hospital and away from hogwarts. He had left a note on the bed for Poppy and McGonagall, thanking them for giving him some privacy but for also treating him like an adult. He also wrote that he just didn't want to get into any serious discussions.

Harry went straight to Gringotts where he bought one of the charmed bags that was linked to his vault. It means that he would always have money and wouldn't have to keep going to Gringotts. He had a few thousand changed into muggle money before he had the new people in charge, seal his vault. He wanted to add blood wards so only someone with Potter blood and who knew the password to be able to enter. Harry basically said no one but he can enter his vault. He did explain that Molly Weasley had his vault key, he just never got a change to get it back. It was Albus Dumbledore who told him he had to allow Molly to do his shopping. He trusted Molly and didn't think she would steal from him but he would rather she not be able to enter his vault.

Once Harry finished in Gringotts, he used his invisibility cloak and snuck away. He wasn't just sneaking away from everyone in Diagon alley, he was sneaking out of the country.

Harry wanted to get away from everything that reminded him of his life over the last eighteen years, or almost eighteen years. He needed to get away from the memories. He would write a letter to Hermione and Ron, he would also write another letter to Kingsley. Since he was the interim minister for magic and Harry liked the man, he figured he could explain to Kingsley why he wanted some time away and time alone. Harry wouldn't write how long he would be gone because right now, Harry wasn't sure how long he would stay away. All he knew was he would be gone for months, if not a year. He also wrote that he would not be answering any letters if they decide to send one. Harry didn't write that he planned to stay in the muggle world in the hope he got some privacy but also so no owls would find him.

Hermione wasn't surprised by Harry's letter. Ron was until Hermione explained. It was Molly and Ginny who were upset and both wanted to find Harry and bring him home. Hermione and Ron had no idea why the two Weasley woman were determined to find Harry. Hermione kept going on about Harry and how he did need time away from all the bad memories. She said one thing she knew about Harry, he would return but not until he was ready and she had a feeling it would not be soon.

Over the next five years, no one saw Harry Potter. Hermione and Ron did receive the odd letter but all he said was he needed more time. He wrote he would return one day but he still couldn't say when that would be.

What Harry didn't write was he had met a woman and fell in love. Only two months later, they married and had been married now for five years. They met not long after Harry first left the country and it was love at first sight. She was a muggleborn witch, or a new witch as they were called in many other countries. She was born in England but left with her parents when heard all the stories about voldemort and heard how he would return one day. They also found out that many of his death eaters were involved in the ministry and how it was run.

Harry and Connie had two children but they planned to have more. That was when they decided to return to England. Connie came from a rich family, so when she married Harry, she added his name to her vaults. Harry had what was left of the money his parents and sirius left him transferred to his wife's vault. Even though the new people at the gringotts in England told him no one could enter his vault, he never felt safe knowing that someone else had his key. Now it didn't matter.

Harry, Connie and their children stayed in the muggle world until they could find a home to buy. It would be a muggle home as they both liked to use things like computers. They also liked being able to use phones. They decided to rent a home for now, until they could find the perfect home.

Connie had gone to school in America but had been holidaying in hawaii when she met Harry and became a couple straight away.

She had learnt of a spell that could stop all magic in a room or house which would protect any electronics. She had taught Harry since she knew he was more powerful than her.

The moment they found and paid for their house, Harry did use the spell to stop magic, but not all magic. He learnt that you could allow low level spells, like drying charms and summoning charms. Things like patronus's wouldn't work in the house. But no curse or any type of dark magic would work in the house. They also decided to put the house under the fidelius charm and cast a muggle repelling charm and made it unplottable. With the amount of blood Harry had lost over the years, if someone used his blood, they could normally find him. Now, they couldn't.

'I believe it's time to let Hermione, Ron and Kingsley know I've returned.'

'Yes, but charm the letter. We've read the articles, so many times there were messages to you to contact them. The ones from Molly Weasley were terrible. It was like she believed she had the right to tell you what to do.'

'That's her, but she will find out that she has nothing to do with me. I am glad you agreed to put the house in your maiden name though. It will make it harder to find even though it's charmed.'

Kingsley received the letter from Harry first. He thought it strange that Harry asked to keep this quiet, for now and if he could visit him. He had received a permission note which told Kingsley the house was under the fidelius charm. But one thing Kingsley noticed, the handwriting was not Harry's, it was female, that's all he could determined. After he read the note, it disintegrated.

Kingsley saw the big beautiful house and wondered if this was where Harry was living or it was just for their meeting. He knocked on the door and waited.

Harry smiled when he opened the door, 'Good to see you...Minister.'

'Blimey Harry, you've changed. It's good to see you too. I don't get why you didn't want me to tell anyone we were meeting or you were back.'

'I'll explain inside,' Harry and kingsley walked through the house until they came to a large friendly and sunny room, 'I want you to meet my wife, Connie and two of our children, twins, Orion and Jasmine.'

'Blimey,' Kingsley knew this was going to complicate things, 'It's nice to meet you Mrs Potter.'

'It's nice to meet you Minister. Please have a seat, and it's Connie. I'll just put these two down for a nap. I won't be long love.'

'I'll be here babe,' Harry smiled then turned back to the minister who seemed to be looking around at the house, 'My wife came from money, a lot of money. She said since she can afford it, then we'll get a big enough house so all our kids will have plenty of room. We're planning on another four, maybe more kids. We haven't decided yet.'

'Most of us knew you would want children, probably a lot so I'm not surprise to hear you say that. Have you contacted Hermione and Ron?'

'I wanted to let you know first before I spoke to them. We read the articles that Molly and Ginny put in the papers, even the couple Hermione did. We thought it was best to speak with you before they knew I was back.'

'They were out straight away,' Connie said as she joined her husband.

'So do you know why they kept telling me to return?'

Kingsley sighed, 'Yes, now that I know you're married with children, it's going to complicate things.'

'What are you talking about?'

'Ginny found a very old law. It's to do with the seventh child of the seventh child. She could literally ask for anything as long as it was legal and it would be done, straight away.'

'Okay, I still don't get what this is about.'

'Tell me, when did you two get married?'

'It's hard to believe but it was only two months after I left. We met straight away, began dating and we just knew.'

'What was the exact date?'

'I have no idea why you want to know but it was the twenty seventh of July.'

'About two weeks before, which will go in your favour.'

'What is going on minister?' Connie asked.

'Ginny had to announce what she wanted on her seventeenth birthday. Which was two weeks after you got married. What she wanted and it is legally binding is to be married to you Harry. Since you were married to your wife first, she is legally your wife and will be known as Mrs Harry Potter. Ginny is legally your wife but she can't take the name Mrs Harry Potter, she will be mrs Ginny Weasley.'

'But it's against the law to marry two, yet I didn't.'

'Which is why you will not get in trouble. You said before that your wife had money which is why you bought this house. That will help stop them trying to get you to pay for anything in regards to Ginny. Do you have any of your own money in your own vault?'

'No, I emptied it and we decided it would go into Connie's. What I had was what my parents left me, which was eight thousand galleons. Sirius left me twenty four thousand galleons. I spent only a few thousand before we got married.'

'It doesn't matter what you have left, as far as they will know, legally, you do not have any money. You live off your wife's money and make sure you always say that. You see Harry, from the moment she announced her intentions, I just got a suspicion it wasn't just about how she felt about you. Since you just told me you had thirty two thousand galleons, I would say money was part of her motives. I also know she's tried to use her marriage to you status to get things. Since you weren't seen, no one believes her, even with a marriage certificate. Everyone told her that she's made it up because if she was married to you, they would see you or read about you. Once she knows your back she will expect you to buy you and her a home. Once she knows you can't, she will want to live with you.'

'That is not going to happen. I do not want this woman near my children,' Connie said fiercely.

'Which is your right and why I said it's a good idea that your wife has the money. Who's name is the house in?'

'My maiden name, Harry thought it would give us more protection and privacy.'

'It will and works perfectly. Don't tell me your maiden name, no one will be able to find out. I'm on your side in this because I don't like when people try to force others to do what they want and that's what Ginny was doing. Okay, even though nothing can get you out of being married to her, I think you should stay away from public areas but release a letter. Say when you were away you met a wonderful woman and fell in love. You got married, make sure you write the date. Explain that you have children. You can explain that since your wife had money and you didn't, she bought your home. They won't be able to find any information on this place since it will be in Mrs Potter's maiden name and not in the name of Potter.'

'We can do that. But tell me Kingsley, did Hermione and Ron support Ginny or did they believe I should be consulted first?'

Kingsley sighed, 'They supported her. Hermione married to Ron, Ginny is Ron's sister so Hermione basically had no choice.'

'Everyone always has a choice and she made the wrong choice, which ends our friendship. I did see those letters in the papers, they never mentioned it. That's not being a friend.'

'Get a letter ready Harry, then we leave and return...to where we were living,' Connie said, 'I don't want any of them near our children.'

'Alright because I don't either. I wouldn't trust any of them. If they want money, all they have to do is get rid of you and me, along with the kids. I will kill them first so it's best to leave.'

Kingsley sighed and even though he wished Harry would stay, he thought it best if they leave.

It was only two weeks later that a picture of Harry, his wife and two children appeared on the front page of not only the Daily Prophet but Witch Weekly and the Quibbler. By the time they were published, Harry, Connie and his two children had returned home.

The article explained that Harry married in July two months after he left which was right after the Battle of Hogwarts. He met his wife and fell in love instantly. They got married. Since he had no money left, his wife who comes from money, bought them a home. They decided to visit England again just so his wife could see where her husband grew up. They spent two weeks in England before they returned home. Mrs Potter explained that she had been born in England but she never liked how the pure-blood's ran the wizarding community, so she left. Mr and Mrs Potter have both given up their English citizenship's when they realised they would not be returning to England ever again.

What no one but kingsley knew, Harry worked it to strip his parent's home bare then demolish it. He also had his parents bodies dug up and was taking them back to his home.

Kingsley heard the commotion outside his office. He pushed a button before he flicked his wand so his door opened.

'They were married before you made the announcement which means, she is Mrs Potter, you will always be known as Weasley, Mrs Weasley but that's all. You can never take the name Potter. I checked all the laws after Harry introduced me to his wife and children.'

'You saw them?' Hermione squeaked, 'We wanted to see Harry. You should have told us.'

'As Harry told me, he didn't want to see his ex friends who support others over him. He said both of you betrayed him before, so he didn't want anything to do with you. Now Mrs Weasley, don't try to use Harry's name anymore because it could end up with you being snubbed by everyone now he world knows Harry is happily married with children. The first of his children. They plan to have six more, minimum. I suggest you leave and get used to a life as a single woman who can never marry. I believe the aurors behind you will escort you out.'

'That's not fair, he's my husband.'

'He may be, but you don't get Harry or anything since the money is his wife's money. Now I have work to do, aurors, please escort them out of the ministry.'

'Yes, minister,' Gawain said then three aurors pointed their wands at Ginny, Ron and Hermione. They knew they had no choice but to leave. Ginny couldn't help scowling but she already knew she was not going to give up. She would find Harry and she would get rid of the bitch he was married too.

Harry and Connie spoke a lot over the first few days after they returned to Australia. One thing both of them said was that they would need to work on some plan so their children were safe from Ginny. Harry also said he would do anything to make sure Connie was safe. He knew just what Ginny and Molly's tempers were like, he was not going to risk his family to the two Weasley women, or anyone else.

Connie finally asked Harry how far he would go to keep their children safe. Harry said that killing her would be something he would do to protect his children along with his wife. Connie seemed to sag in relief.

'I know you were worried love, but this is something I can easily do, for you and the kids. I've lost too many people, I was too young to stop that. I"m not young anymore so I will kill to make sure you and the kids are safe. She is very sneaky and she's a great liar. There is no way she will let this go.'

'When can you do it?'

'Give me a week. I'll need to work on changing my appearance using muggle methods then create a map of the Burrow. I will have to know where she's there and when she's alone.'

'Have you thought about how you would do it?'

'I had two ideas. The first was to make it seem like someone went there and killed her for lying, saying she was my wife when I have a wife and children. We read all those stories love, about how many support me and how many kept thanking me. I was offered everything you could think of. It's not unreasonable to believe someone could do it. The second idea was poison and make it look like suicide.'

'We wouldn't want anyone else to get blamed love, so maybe suicide would be best. People might feel sorry for her and her family but it won't matter to us.'

'You're right, it won't matter. Also, I wouldn't want anyone else blamed. Okay, I'll work on the map if you can make the potion. It will have to be one that disappears from her system straight away.'

'There are a few of those, so leave that to me. We might not be dark love but both of us have suffered enough. It's time we do anything we can to keep our children safe.'

'We will.'

Harry worked on his appearance the following day. Since he had laser surgery done, he didn't wear glasses. All he had to do was hide the colour of his eyes and that was easy to accomplish with coloured contact lenses. A muggle hair dye took care of his dark hair. After he was satisfied with his new temporary look, he began to work on the map. It only took three days for Harry to create of map of the Burrow. He had to do that at the Burrow so he could link the rooms and property to the parchment.

'Okay, this will only take five drops to kill but I want you to use ten, just in case she might have some other potion in her system that could neutralise this.'

'Alright, I'll leave when I know it will be middle of the night there.'

'Lets have a nap while the kids are asleep.'

Apart from making sure he didn't look like Harry, he had his trusty invisibility cloak and the map. Harry was able to get into Ginny's room while everyone at the Burrow slept. He sealed and silenced the room, then stunned Ginny. He poured the potion into her mouth, made sure she could swallow before he crept out of the house. He used his broom to fly up to her window, he woke her up, but he knew she wouldn't wake, he just needed to make sure she didn't look stunned. He sent a spell at her that told him she was not breathing. He waited for twenty minutes, then cast another, that spell told him she had died.

'No more Mrs Weasley,' Harry glared then flew off. He got far enough away from the Burrow before activating his portkey.

'It's done love.'

'Now we know our children will be safe.'

'And you, but we agreed, we're not returning to England.'

'No, we're not. And as far as everyone back there knows, we visited for two weeks then returned home. We haven't been back. Let's have some breakfast before those two wake from their nap.'

Harry and Connie stayed home all day with their children but late the following day Connie did go out to get a copy of the English newspapers and magazines.

'It's on the front cover. They found the potion vial in her hand and believe she took her own life.'

'Good, but we'll keep a listen out in case that changes.'

'We will but we can put all that to rest and just get on with their lives.'

That's exactly what Harry and Connie did. They waited two years before Connie got pregnant again and again, they had another set of twins. They called the girl Iris after another flower, for Lily Potter. They called the boy Colin, after Connie's father.

No one in england every saw Harry Potter or his family but they did see the odd picture. Ten years after the fall of voldemort, there was a picture of Harry with his wife and six children, three sets of twins. The story was mainly about Harry and how he was now the head designer for Firebolt. But because of how he was thought of, they had to write about Harry's wife and their children. That was the only personal thing written about the Potter family.

Hermione realised she had done wrong by Harry too many times and by agreeing with Ginny, she had lost him for good. Ron was always angry about Harry leaving but now he blamed Harry for his sister killing herself. Because of all that, the marriage between Ron and Hermione didn't last. You can't divorce in the wizarding world, so they just separated and now they never see each other. Hermione was pleased with one thing, they didn't have children. Hermione had wanted to work for around fifteen years before having children. Now her marriage to Ron was over, but not be legally divorced, she would just have to get used to living with another man, if she ever got into another serious relationship.

It took Kingsley years but he was able to find and get rid of any laws or magic contracts that forced someone to do something against their will. He even made sure the seventh child of the seventh child wish was now gone. Never again will anyone be forced to do something that don't want to do.

Harry and Connie never again returned to England. They had their family and their lives in Australia. England was just a memory of their past, one that they put to rest a long time ago.
