Making Sure He Got The Life He Wanted:
Harry Potter hated his life. He thought that when the war was over with Voldemort that he might finally get the life he wanted. But it didn't happen. Between Ginny, Molly, Ron, and even Hermione, he was pressured into a quick marriage. He hadn't thought about renewing his old relationship with Ginny. Harry wanted some time away, some time to himself, but no, he was talked into getting married. They also began to plan Harry's life, like how he would start auror training straight away. Harry had told them he would not work for the ministry and had enough of fighting. Again they didn't listen.
One good thing Harry liked even if he would have preferred to not marry at all. Ginny insisted they visit Gringotts then have her name added to Harry's vaults.
When Harry spoke with his account manager not long after the war, they worked on a few things to say if anyone ever tried to enter one of the Potter vaults. He explained that as far as he knew there were only two ways for Ginny to enter a vault owned by a Potter. One she would have to be a Potter by blood and the second was if she signed a marriage contract. The contract was fixed and could not be altered in any way. The goblin gave Harry the contract but he refused to allow Ginny to read it until his client had finished, then it would be up to Harry. Once Harry read through the contract, very carefully, he forced himself not to smile. He wasn't sure if Ginny wanted to marry him because she loved him like she said, or if it was for the money. It seems whoever started this contract made sure that all Potters were protected.
If Ginny wanted access to the vault then she would have to sign the contract, or that's what she will believe. Harry placed it in front of her then looked at the goblin. To Harry it looked like the goblin was trying not to smile, but he did give Harry a small nod, he nodded back.
Once Ginny finished reading, which Harry and the goblin knew she hadn't read it thoroughly, she refused to sign it. The goblin told them to leave, that only Harry could enter his vault and only Harry could transfer a certain amount of money to someone else, even a wife. The amount was twenty galleons a month if it was a wife, less for friends. Harry already transferred ten thousand galleons to a vault he set up for teddy lupin. Harry figured it was because he was named godfather. When Harry said they might as well leave since Ginny didn't want to sign, she quickly signed the form. She then wanted to go to the Potter vault.
The goblin said if Ginny read the contract she would know that no one apart from a Potter by blood could enter the vault. The most Harry could do for Ginny was transfer money into another vault for her use. Ginny basically ordered Harry to do that straight away, so he did, he transferred twenty galleons. Ginny screamed that to pay for her wedding dress she would need a lot more, a hell of a lot more. Harry acted frustrated then picked up the contract and read. Ginny ended up storming out of Gringotts, Harry finally allowed himself to laugh, but so did the goblin.
So even though he was forced to go through with the wedding, he still didn't add any more than twenty galleons a month to Ginny's vault. But Harry used one argument in the hope to stop the wedding. When Molly asked Harry for the money so she could pay everyone for the wedding, like the caterers and waiters. Harry said he wasn't paying for a thing since he didn't want to get married. The shouting left Harry deaf for hours, but he never gave in. Since Ron and Hermione were supporting Ginny, Harry refused to talk to them.
One thing Harry organised that Ginny and Molly could not stop. He had had Fleur as the matron of honour and Neville as his best man. Everyone at the wedding instantly noticed that Hermione and Ron were not the main witnesses for Harry's wedding. They also noticed that he never spoke to them but he didn't even speak to his wife, nor would he dance with her when it was announced. Harry just went to the bar and got a very large glass of Firewhiskey.
But Harry had plans, after his life, he said he will never allow anyone to use him or manipulate him again. He admitted only to himself that he had a weak spot when they forced him to marry. Molly kept going on about nothing to live for since her son, Fred was killed. Her daughter marrying the man she loved would give her hope. That was the only reason Harry agreed. But the following day after the wedding, he heard Ginny and Molly talking about how to get some of the Potter money now that being married to Harry didn't help. Harry knew then that they only wanted him for the money, too bad it didn't work. So now Harry didn't feel guilty about his plans.
Even though Harry hated being an auror and he didn't hide the fact nor did he bother doing his job properly. He was able to get what he needed for his plans. Now it was time to put that plan into action.
Harry made sure to tell his boss to piss off, he made sure he never once did what he was told. He would stay at his desk reading muggle novels along with other books that had their covers disguised. He knew it wouldn't take long before he was either sacked or that the minister would want to talk to him. Harry was hoping they would just sack him, then he could leave like he wanted. After the fighting all Harry wanted to do was get away, not just from Hogwarts and the Dursley's, but leave the country, only for a few months. Now he might just leave for good. First he had to wait and see if all his plans would work.
'The minister wants you in his office right now Potter.'
'You have the ugliest fucking face I've ever seen and your such a coward you can't even do your job,' Harry smirked at his boss before he got up and left the office. But he stood just outside the door listen. Robards was talking to Ron, both were at a loss as how to get Harry to use his powerful magic to help the auror office recruit more people. They also spoke about how Harry was making it worse. Any recruit that came in, Harry told them it was the worst job there was. Danger and no one to help, plus the pay was shit. More than half that turned up to join the aurors, left. Harry chuckled then slowly made his way to the bathrooms to put part of his plan into action.
He made sure to take his time before Harry headed to the minister's office. He just stood near the desk, he didn't say anything just glared at the woman until she hurried away to speak with the minister. Harry was told to go straight in that the minister has been waiting for him to show. The woman sounded upset, all Harry did was wink and gave her a big smile.
'Harry,' Kingsley sighed, 'I receive more complaints about you then any other person in the ministry,' Kingsley waited but all Harry did was stare over his shoulder, 'It's obvious you don't want to be here, but we could really use your help to recruit more people. I'm asking as a friend if you can just give us a few months, but act accordingly.'
'We aren't friends minister, you were one of my jailers and still are. You said it, I don't want to be here and the longer I'm forced to remain the more I will drive away. Many people are already scared of me, one look and they go running. I won't help you out since you didn't help me when I needed it.'
'There is nothing I can do now, you're contracted to stay for at least a year so you might as well make the most of it.'
'I won't, either you fire me which gets me out of the contract or I keep causing trouble,' Harry took the book from his pocket then began to read. No matter what Kingsley said or did, Harry continued to read.
Harry did wonder how long he was going to have to stay. He never planned to stay passed the first few minutes, but it seems the minister just doesn't want to give up. Right now one of his plans was being put into action, from tomorrow the next will and hopefully he will be fired. He meant what he said, he will drive people away, but he will begin to start hexing people with things like the babbling curse or jelly legs and as the owner of the elder wand, no one but Harry could remove the hexes. Harry never told anyone he kept the wand, he made everyone believe it went back into Dumbledore's crypt, now he planned to use it. The portraits all around the ministry will begin to fart at people when they walk past, they will swear and a few times a day they will drop their trousers and show their backside. But every portrait will shout "The son of Prongs will not stop"
'It won't work Harry, you won't be fired, so you might as well go back to the office.'
Harry put his book away then stood, 'I'm heading home, get fucked minister,' Harry smirked then walked to the door. Before he could open it the secretary stepped in. She glanced nervously at Harry before she handed the minister some parchment.
'Damn,' Kingsley said. As he looked up Harry was just about to walk through the door, 'Wait Harry.'
'what the fuck now arsehole,' Harry glared at Kingsley and the secretary.
'I have some bad news.'
'Bad news is being stuck in this place, so nothing could be worse.'
'It is, your wife's body was found behind the Weasley's shop.'
Harry chuckled, 'At least I'm free from one of my jailers. I can go party now, celebrate the bitch is dead. If you find the person who did it, tell them thanks for me.'
Kingsley and his secretary watched Harry leave, 'You don't think he did it, do you minister?'
'No, they worked out she was hit with the killing curse only thirty minutes ago. He was in the auror office, then here for at least the last fifteen minutes. Even though he took longer to get here, he would not have had time to leave, get to Diagon alley, kill her then get back without showing signs of being rushed. He was relaxed and in no way out of breath. No, it wasn't Harry, but he may have organised it. First we have to find the person who killed Ginny.
Harry did what he told the minister he was going to do, he left the ministry. He went to the Leaky Cauldron. There had been a few woman in there that had tried to get friendly with him but either Ginny, Molly, Ron or Hermione would drive them away. This time Harry walked straight to them.
'Someone murdered my using bitch of a wife and I'm in the mood to celebrate. Which of you lovely ladies wants to join me in my room?'
Five woman followed Harry up the stairs and into the room he had Tom hold for him. He had used the same room on his wedding night. Ginny ended up remaining at the Burrow. Harry had a few drinks then apparated away. Ginny and Molly had been bugging him about the home he would share with Ginny once they were married. Harry refused to buy anything, he said he was comfortable staying in pubs. He normally stayed in the Hogs Head or go to a muggle hotel, but he knew eventually he would stay at the Leaky Cauldron, so the room was booked and paid for. Now he was going to enjoy his freedom.
It was the following morning that Hermione and Ron found Harry asleep in a bed that had been enlarged to fit the extra women who were also asleep.
'What the fuck are you doing with them?' Ron shouted.
'They are joining me with celebrating the fucking bitch is dead and out of my life. Now get the fuck out weasel before I curse the both of you,' Harry growled then flicked his wand sending a hex right at both of them. Then he burst out laughing making the woman around him wake up.
Hermione and Ron ended up with eight tentacles sprouting from different parts of their bodies. Both began to scream and yell at Harry to fix them. All Harry did was pull one of the woman on top of him and start snogging her. She instantly lowered herself onto Harry's erection.
The tentacled Hermione and Ron hurried to leave. Neither of them wanted to watch Harry shagging anyone, let along five woman.
By the following morning there were pictures of Harry having sex with different woman and he always said he was celebrating that someone did him a favour and offed his bitch of a wife. Over the next week Harry spent every day in bed with different woman and not once did he turn up at the ministry. They might be able to say he was an auror, but Harry couldn't be forced into acting like one or even going to the office, yet because they said he was an auror, they had to pay him. When he was out and about, if people asked him about his job, he told them working for the ministry was the worst and couldn't wait to be shot of the place and the people in it. He made sure he named the people who was making his life miserable, which included the minister and every person in the auror office. He named others as well, like Ron, Arthur and Molly Weasley, along with Hermione Granger.
He did make sure to hex people at the ministry and the portraits, so far no one could talk properly because they kept babbling. No one could stop the portraits farting or dropping their pants.
Many asked if Harry had murdered his wife to get out of the marriage, the loudest voice was Molly Weasley. The minister for magic himself already said they had proof it wasn't Harry.
No one knew that Harry had used the imperius curse on Mundungus Fletcher, then made him drink polyjuice potion. He had the man follow Ginny, murder her than he was to wait until the potion wore off before he was to kill himself.
Harry had no idea if Mundungus had killed himself, but he killed Ginny and he hadn't been seen since. He was told that someone under the imperius curse would do whatever they were ordered to do, except take their own life. It's why Harry had stayed under his invisibility cloak while he cursed Fletcher. If Fletcher didn't kill himself, he could never tell the aurors who cursed him. Fletcher's mind was weak so Harry didn't think he could stop himself from taking his own life.
Harry didn't care either way. Ginny was out of his life and the Weasley's were finally paying for what they did to Harry. They were suffering due to the death of another family member. Ron and Hermione realised they had lost Harry as a friend and because he was known as the saviour, people were supporting him and not them. Hermione and Ron lost their jobs and couldn't get another. Arthur was put in maintenance, which was lower pay and longer working hours.
The day of Ginny's funeral, Harry packed his bags, sent a letter of the Kingsley before he left the country. That would be the last time in many years that anyone saw Harry Potter.
Kingsley ended up back in the auror office and one of the senior aurors ended up head of the DMLE. He made sure there was changes, the first was cancelling the contract forcing Harry Potter to be an auror. He also removed Gawain as head auror but he was offered to stay working as an auror. Griselda Marchbanks ended up minister for magic and one of the first laws she brought in was making sure no one could be forced to sign a contract if they wanted to work inside the ministry of magic. She had sent a warning to all the Weasley's that said if they kept trying to blame Harry for Ginny's death, all of them would be arrested. Harry might have left, but Griselda wanted that young man to know that not everyone wanted to use him. They wanted him to have a life, one that he chose not what others chose for him.
It would be ten years later that the ministry in England heard anything about Harry Potter. A picture appeared on the front cover of quidditch monthly. It spoke about the famous quidditch player, Harry Potter and how he married his long time girlfriend, who played chaser on the same team as Harry. The picture was when the couple married. Inside there were lots of stories about Harry but there was also a letter from him. He wrote how he had to escape his jailers and once he found out his using wife was dead, he left. He also said he will never return to England. Harry began a new life playing quidditch and now he was married, the couple were ready to begin a life together, until they were ready for children.
Ginny along with her family and Hermione thought having Harry as part of their family would always kept them having a good life. Now Ginny was dead and they all lived together because most of them couldn't work. They tried to force Harry to have a life he didn't want. He eventually got the life he wanted yet none of them ended up with a life they expected to have.
