Rainbow Hills, California, 2027
It's a nice day out, and the people are going about their business as normal. When a large dark shadow covered the plaza, everyone looked up to see a massive monster with a faucet for a head, and had tentacle-like appendages. He towered over the city, and spat out brown sludge. The sludge formed a group of foot soldiers. They were wearing brown jumpsuits, had a strange crystal-like pattern down the chest, and green and white faces. They charged forward, beginning to terrorize the civilians, who screamed.
Earth Protection League Defense Base, Quartz
In a palm tree shaped building, a very familiar man is watching the chaos on the camera systems. He rubbed his face with his hands, "Damn it. After the Legendary Battle, and the destruction of Evox six years ago, I thought the Earth was safe!" Thomas Oliver growled angrily. Next to him, a young woman wearing white robes frowned. "They're here." She muttered. She had blue skin, blue eyes, and gold ridges. She was an alien. "But we haven't found the fifth Ranger yet!" She gave a soft whimper. Tommy gave a small smile. "It'll be okay." He promised. He opened the comms channel. "Dark Zone Empire attack confirmed at the City Center. Rainbow Squad Rangers, move out!" The Veteran Ranger commanded.
"Yessir!" Four voices replied. In a window nearby, five large stones were on display, in five different colors; purple, blue, yellow, green, and pink. The purple stone jumped in the air, cheering in a girl's voice. "FINALLY!" She cheered. The other stones were curious, and the alien ran to the window. "What is it?" She asked. "Princess Emerald, I've finally found my partner!" She cheered. "The person who resonates with me, and makes my heart shine!" The sentient stone added. Emerald grinned. "The last shining Ranger. The fifth Rainbow Squad Ranger!" She finished, floating.
Rainbow Hills High School
As the students in the high school watched the chaos, one young woman was drawing, humming softly to herself, tuning everything out. There was another rumble, and everybody but the girl screamed. One of the students frowned. "Freak!" He snapped. "Hey, OLIVER!" He yelled. The girl looked up from her drawing, pushing her glasses up on her nose. She has dark brown hair, emerald green eyes, and is wearing a purple skirt and shirt. "No need to be rude." Aliana Oliver commented. The student hauled her up, making her look out the window. Instead of screaming, she just sighed. "Dammit." She complained. The students blinked at her blase attitude. "You're not scared?" He asked.
Aliana shook her head. "I'm used to monster attacks." She sighed again. The two students bolted, as Aliana watched the attack. She smiled, and closed her eyes, focusing hard. After a couple of moments, there was a flash, and her green eyes snapped open. "Insparkleration!" She declared, going back to her drawing pad, and beginning to draw the attack with her left hand. She grinned as she drew, tuning everything out again. Princess Emerald walked in, hesitantly. "Hello?" She called, the rock alien nervous. When Aliana didn't respond, she tried again. "Excuse me?" Emerald asked again, tapping her shoulder. Aliana jumped in shock, and stepped back from the alien.
"A rock person?" She questioned nervously, holding her sketch pad close. Emerald sighed softly. "I'm not going to hurt you. My team and I need you." She said, in a soothing tone. Aliana raised her hands in a defensive manner. "Who are you, and what do you want?" She snapped. Emerald blinked, and stepped back. "The Earth is being targeted...by the Dark Zone Empire. They worship darkness, and destroyed my home planet of Hoseki." Emerald whimpered softly, and Aliana dropped her hands. "I never wanted Earth to suffer the same fate." Emerald added. Aliana sighed. "What's your name?" She asked. Emerald curtseyed. "Princess Emerald, at your service." She greeted formally. "Aliana Oliver." Aliana replied.
~Dark Zone Empire~
A monster walked up to a spinning hologram of Earth, the entire dimension blanketed in darkness. He watched curiously. "How it shines, sparkles." He commented, banging his staff down. "How is it that this planet has not fallen to evil? Makes me wanna puke." He pulled a face. He had green and red skin, no eyes, white masks on either side of his head. He also had small red wings. General Arbon. He sighed, turning to his fellow general. He had gold, silver, and black armor, with a crescent shaped helmet, glowing blue eyes, and shoulder pads with a crescent moon on them. He spoke in a low, deep voice. "Arbon, why not show me what you've got?" He asked.
Arbon hummed, then smirked. "As you wish, Marzon. But you should know, I've already sent a special Gigabeast as a vanguard." He chuckled evilly. Then Arbon paused. "Do you know what a faucet is?" He asked. Marzon just stared blankly at him. "I put the head of a faucet on Giga Faucet. I'm using their own culture against them!" Arbon cackled loudly, rubbing his hands together. "I'm good, aren't I?" He cackled again.
~Rainbow Hill High School~
Aliana listened carefully to Emerald. "To fight the Dark Zone Empire, we need someone with a strong Shining Spirit." She explained. Ali blinked. "Shining Spirit?" She repeated. Emerald tapped her chin. "It's hard to explain..." The alien murmured. Ali raised a brow. "It's the source of charm, or amazing talent. A shining state of mind." Emerald elaborated. Ali blinked, then frowned. "So, you're looking for someone who shines?" She asked. Emerald nodded. Ali grabbed her sketch pad, and curled into the corner. "That's not me. I'm a freak. I'm not a shining person." She looked down. Emerald frowned. "Why do you say that?" She asked. Ali shook her head. "For one, Legendary Ranger Tommy Oliver is my father, and second, I have D.I.D." Ali gave a soft whimper.
Ali whined again. "I don't shine! I can't!" She exclaimed. "You aren't the wrong girl!" The purple stone called from outside, and Ali screamed in shock. "Eh?!" She demanded. The stone spoke again. "I don't know why, but you're the person who shines the most!" She giggled. Ali stammered. "What the hell?" Ali gasped. The stone faced the window, and a glowing purple light encased the human and alien women. "You can become a Rainbow Squad Ranger!" The stone pulled the two inside of it, and Ali gasped at the sight. "Oh my GOD!" She yelled. The stone flew them over the city as Ali got her bearings. "What the HELL is going on? Are we inside the purple stone?" She demanded.
Emerald nodded. "My home planet, Hoseki, was built by quarrying and polishing rocks." She explained. "And among the rocks, we found special ones that had gained powers over the millennia, and possess their own sentience. Just like her." She added, tapping the floor of the stone with her foot. "I can turn your Shining Spirit into the power to fight!" The stone confirmed, excited. "Please, fight with us, partner!" The stone begged. Emerald grabbed Ali's wrist, and slapped a circular device on it, which glowed, and announced, "Rainbow Morpher!" With a flash of purple light. Ali growled, looking at the device. "What the HELL is this supposed to be?!" She growled again. "The Rainbow Morpher. It'll allow you to connect with the stone, and become the Purple Rainbow Squad Ranger." Emerald said. The stone dropped them off at the roof of a building, where a battle was taking place.
Ali stared at the four Rangers. They were yellow, green, blue, and pink. The suits were literally glowing in the bright sunlight, and around their bodies, a race track like design ended with cars in the Rangers' respective colors. Green, Pink, and Blue were female, having midthigh skirts, and Yellow was male. Ali continued staring at the way they fought, moved. Ali rushed forward, grinning. "Those are the Rainbow Squad Rangers?" She wondered. Emerald nodded, holding the purple stone, which had shrunk down to a handheld size. She flashed brightly, wiggling in anticipation. "Yeah! You need to Morph too!" Ali clutched her sketch pad, smiling. "I…" She started, rushing forward. "Want to draw!" She finished, and flipped open another page, causing Emerald and the Purple Shining Stone to react with shock.
Ali watched the Yellow Ranger place three blue disks in the hole in the blue blaster, causing it to spark with lightning. "Shining Flash!" Yellow called, firing at the foot soldiers, and ricocheting the shots between the group of civilians, glowing brightly with each blast. He easily destroyed the soldiers, and ran to the group. "Are you alright?" He asked, in a smooth, deep voice. The girls giggled, and blushed. "Oh, you have something." He brushed something off a girl. "That's UNFAIR, Alexian! Don't steal the glory!" A male voice yelled from the Morpher, and the civilians jumped in shock. Alexian rolled his eyes, and disconnected the call. "Sorry."
Ali continued drawing, grinning the whole time. She ran up to Alexian, and studied him intently, drawing every little detail. She noticed Green fighting a few feet away, and raced over, grinning. Green was shining in the bright, crystal clear day. She easily parried some soldiers aside with her sword, then slid on her feet for a few feet, causing sparks to run along the ground, and then slicing two more soldiers. Ali ran to her, drawing. Green jumped in the air, then landed, blocking the soldier's staff, then slicing him across the stomach. "Lady Abby, behind you!" A voice warned from the Morpher, and Green turned around to attack another soldier, only to almost decapitate Ali with her sword.
Green froze, and then screamed. "What?!" She demanded, as Ali's hand flew along the paper. She dodged the attacks of the soldiers without thinking about it, and Abby watched, stunned. "Who is this?" The Green Shining Stone asked from the Morpher. Abby shrugged. "No idea, but she's good at dodging." Abby replied, watching curiously. She blinked, and shook her head. "No time for admiration." She chided herself, as two soldiers aimed at them. Abby tapped a button on her sword, and a large crystal shield burst from it. The attack bounced harmlessly off the shield. "Nice block!" The Green Shining Stone declared. Abby looked down to Ali, who had vanished. "Whaaaa...?" Abby blinked, stunned.
Nearby, Pink flipped over a grunt, and blasted two more. Ali ran to her. "Pink Rangers are so cool!" Ali grinned, as Pink shoved a soldier away, before grabbing another in a hold. "Sam, weird girl, weird girl!" The Pink Shining Stone warned. Sam sighed, and spoke into her Morpher, "It's fine. She'll be okay as long she behaves." She blasted a soldier, then shoved the soldier she was holding away as its staff knocked Ali into the nearby bushes. Sam blinked. "Did I hit something?" The Pink Shining Stone denied her. Blue was fighting off her share of the grunts on a rooftop. She easily knocked them aside with her sword, before leaping off, and landing perfectly on the ground.
Blue attacked the soldiers, easily finishing them off with calm, practiced focus and ease. She struck down more soldiers. "Big Sis is so cool!" The Blue Shining Stone declared. "Shut up." Blue said, facing her opponents. "The end." She added, tapping a button on the sword. "Shining Spark!" Blue declared, as Ali ran over, laying on her back, grinning. She held out her left hand. "Insparkleration!" Blue blinked under her helmet. The sword flashed, and Blue smacked Ali with the flat of her blade, sending the artist flying into some garbage bags. "What? Big Sis Chloe?!" The Blue Shining Stone gasped. Chloe rolled her eyes. "I didn't hurt her, much." She went back to fighting. From her sword, a burst of green/red energy broke free, and wiped out her group easily.
As Ali continued watching the fight, her drawing got faster and faster, until finally, she finished. The Rangers finally destroyed the soldiers, as Ali held the drawing close to her. The Rangers noticed Ali, and walked to her. "What the heck is wrong with you?" Alexian demanded, folding his arms. "Yeah, next time, stay out of our way." Abby snapped, as the four Rangers spun their Morphers, and Demorphed. Ali's eyes widened as she recognized them, and ran to them. "NO WAY!" She exclaimed. The four civilians in front of her each wore uniforms, shirts with shorts sleeves, and button up collars in their respective colors, and white shorts. Each shirt had a small broach on the breast.
Ali stared at the Blue Ranger. "You're Chloe Ashford! An action movie star, and the female lead every time!" She realized. Then she looked at Sam. "Samantha Clarke! One of the best, kindest, nicest doctors at the local hospital." She grinned. Ali looked at Abby, beaming. "You're Abigail Khan! Best on the women's track team!" She nodded. Ali turned to Alexian. "I have no idea who you are." She stated bluntly. Alexian growled. "I'm Alexian Jackson! Best Esports Gamer in the city." He snapped, and the girls snickered. Ali shrugged. "Not into gaming." Ali started. "But I am." Axel chimed in. Everyone blinked, and Ali sighed. "D.I.D." She explained.
Sam walked up to her. "I need to look at your bruises." She said softly, before noticing the Morpher. "Eh? Are you the last Ranger?" Sam blinked. Ali squeaked, and dashed away, clutching her drawing pad tightly. "No way in hell!" She denied. Ali whimpered. "You're all glowing with powerful Shining Spirits. But...I'm...just a…" She was cut off by Alexian. "No thank you! She just got in our way!" He snarled. Abby pouted. "Damn, I was hoping for a cool Purple! The Power Rangers have only had two Purples!" Then she paused. "That I can think of…" She bit her lip as she thought. Emerald held the purple Shining Stone. "No, something about her is getting me all excited!" She stated, moving around. Ali looked away. "Just forget about me, and go and find someone else!" She snapped.
~Dark Zone Empire~
Marzon and Arbon watched the footage of the fight curiously. "Warriors with Hoseki's powers?" Marzon mused, as Arbon danced around excitedly. "Fascinating, absolutely wonderful! Finally, a planet that's NOT BORING!" Arbon cheered, before turning serious in an instant. "But that's enough of a vanguard, now it's time to make the magic circle, and open the gateway for OUR INVASION!" Arbon declared, looking furious. Marzon kept watching, humming slightly. "Don't get too confident." Marzon warned. "They could surprise us." He added. Arbon rolled his eyes. "Oh shut up, worry wart." He snapped. Marzon just silently crossed his arms.
~Rainbow Hills~
The massive monster from before appeared, causing destruction and havoc in the city. "Dammit!" Sam hissed as she finished tending Ali's wounds. "I'm not sure we can fight a monster at that size." Alexian added, looking a little nervous. "We never have before." Abby commented, crossing her arms. Aliana gave them incredulous looks. "You guys don't even have Zords?" She gaped. "We've only been Rangers for like, more than two weeks!" Alexian snapped at Aliana. Aliana rolled her eyes. "No need to be rude." She said firmly, before looking over the colors of their uniforms, and humming to herself. She closed her eyes, and then, there was a bright flash of light in her mind. ""Insparkleration!" She declared, grinning. Soon, a drawing of a shining red race car appeared on her sketchpad, connected to the Purple Shining Stone.
"There you go! I can turn the things you imagine into reality!" The Purple Shining Stone declared. The pad started glowing bright red, and the Stone flew into the air, turning into a racecar, causing the Rangers to scream in surprise. "WHAT THE HELL?!" Alexian demanded. "Since when is that possible?!" Abby added, gaping. "This is the awesome power my partner has!" The sentient race car cheered, attacking the slug monster. The Rangers (and Ali) all looked up when they heard voices from the top of one of the skyscrapers. The two students who had been rude to Ali earlier. "I'll save them!" Ali declared, closing her eyes. "Insparkleration!" Ali shouted, once again. She began drawing on her sketchpad. Behind her, there were several flashes of light as the Rangers Remorphed. "What exactly is she doing?" Abby wondered.
A minute later, Ali cheered, and held up an image of a fire truck on her sketchpad. "It's done!" She chirped again, grinning. Another blinding flash of red light later, the bright red race car turned into a massive fire truck. "I call it Shining Fire!" Ali declared, giggling happily. "That's awesome!" Chloe commented. "Ali, it's your time to Morph, partner! You've got faith in that Shining Spirit inside you now, right?" Shining Fire declared. Ali clenched her fist, the young woman looking fierce. "I can do it!" Ali declared, holding her left hand up, and tapping the helmet icon on the Rainbow Morpher. "IT'S MORPHIN TIME! RAINBOW SQUAD, SHINE ON!" Ali declared, her voice echoing as she thrust her hands out, and being surrounded by light.
~Cue Morphing Sequence~
She was teleported into the Morphin Grid, surrounded by brilliantly glowing crystals. Her clothes vanished, and were covered by a brilliant flash of light. A purple suit formed on her body, and it had a race track on it. The Purple Shining Stone formed on the track, and ran across it, before settling on Ali's chest. Soon, Ali's purple helmet formed in a swirl of lights, and it closed. Once the suit was fully formed, Ali did a backflip, landing on her feet perfectly. She formed a finger gun with her right hand, drawing in the air, and firing it playfully. "THE SPARKLING INSPIRATION! RAINBOW SQUAD PURPLE!" Ali declared, finishing her pose.
~End Morphing Sequence.
There was cheering from the headquarters. "That was wonderful, sweetheart! I'm so proud of you!" Tommy said over the comms links, smiling. Ali grinned. "Thanks, Dad!" She chirped, before pumping her fist. Ali smirked again under her helmet. "Come on, Shining Fire! Let's get this done!" She commanded, jumping into her new Zord. "I'm right there with you, partner!" Shining Fire declared, as Ali jumped into the sparkling cockpit. Shining Fire yelled as she drove closer to the skyscraper where the kids were. Swinging a ladder around, Shining Fire braced herself on the ground. The Giga Faucet continued lumbering to the building. "Go get them, Partner! You got this!" Shining Fire encouraged. If the sentient stone could smile, she would be.
Ali pulled out a sword and a blaster, and yelled, starting to run up Shining Fire's ladder. "Of course, Partner!" Ali shouted back as she kept running. She held her blaster in her right hand, and her sword in her left hand. "Show them what that Shining Spirit of yours can really do!" Shining Fire yelled. Ali cheered, continuing to run. "I know, like this!" She exclaimed, combining the sword and blaster into the Rainbow Buster. "Rainbow Buster!" Ali declared, pulling three coin-like objects out of her belt. She dropped them in the ammunition slot, and pulled the trigger a few times, causing the barrel to glow with energy. Ali started yelling. "SPARKLING RAINBOW BLAST!" The newly minted Purple Ranger screamed, firing several massive blasts of energy at Giga Faucet, each shot causing her to backflip and ultimately land on the steps next to the students. As Ali got the students to safety, the Rangers on the ground stared in complete shock.
"How can they do that?" Sam wondered in surprise. Emerald soon came running up behind the team. "Ali's Shining Spirit lets her imagine such things. It created a miracle!" The alien princess cheered. Ali was making sure the kids were safe on the ground. Once done with that, the kids got out of there as quickly as their feet could carry them. Chloe tilted her head curiously, crossing her arms. "It's hard to believe she's managed something like that when she's just joined up." The Blue Ranger mused. Alexian nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it makes you wonder." He said softly. Abby meanwhile, was bouncing on her feet. "She's doing awesome for a newbie! Way better than the impression I got earlier!" The Green Ranger cheered.
Meanwhile, Giga Faucet wasn't finished just yet, as it was still drawing some sort of magic circle. "Rangers! That creature is drawing a magic circle! You CAN'T let it finish! Or else the city will be doomed!" Tommy reminded them. "Roger!" The Rangers declared. Sam jogged over to Ali. "Number five! Can you make our gems Morph too?" The Pink Ranger asked. Ali hummed, holding out her hand as she thought about it. "Insparkleration!" Ali cheered, turning around, and causing Sam to jump in shock. "I can see it all clearly!" Ali added. In her mind's eye, four notebooks with each of the other Ranger's colors began glowing. Back at the Quartz base, each of the Shining Stones began glowing. "What the heck is going on?!" The Yellow Shining Stone yelled in surprise. The other Shining Stones were reacting in the same manner. The Four Shining Stones were placed on a loading bay, and soon sent up.
They were shot out of the Quartz base, and quickly made their way to the battle site. Ali turned around, grinning under her helmet. "Sam is a Doctor! So, the Pink Shining Stone is a Medical Helicopter!" Ali bounced up and down on her feet. In her mind, the pink sketchpad turned the Pink Shining Stone into a Helicopter Zord, just as Ali had decreed. The Zord's blades turned into wings, and Helicopter cheered. "Shining Helicopter! No evil doers on my watch!" The sentient gemstone turned powerful battle vehicle declared, flying around. Ali grinned happily, and turned to Chloe. "Chloe has a cool, serious vibe to her! So, the Blue Shining Stone will become a Jet Fighter!" Ali decided, keeping her happy grin. The Blue Shining Stone cheered in delight, turning into a blue jet with wicked wings. "Check it OUT! My wings are cool and sharp!" The Jet Fighter Zord hollered happily.
Ali giggled, and turned to Abby next. She ran in place a bit, giggling. "Abby is the fastest runner ever! So, the Green Shining Stone will be a supercar!" The very hyperactive Purple Ranger decided. Abby cheered, and pumped her fist. "A supercar works perfectly for me!" The Green Ranger confirmed, bouncing on her feet excitedly. The green sketchpad turned the Green Shining Stone into a sparkling green Mach race car. "I will finish this quickly, for My Lady Abby!" He declared in a deep voice. Ali finally turned to Alexian, who was tapping his feet impatiently. "Finally! When it comes to yellow vehicles, it's gotta be a shovel car!" Ali made her last decision, causing Alexian to stumble in surprise.
The Yellow Shining Stone rolled, bounced, and finally turned into a massive yellow shovel car Zord. "Shining Shovel Car Zord!" She declared, giddy. "Time to show what experience counts for! Gonna use this shovel to throw things at the bad guys!" The Shovel Car Zord cheered. Alexian was furious. "Just my COLOR?! WHAT ABOUT MY SKILL SET?!" He demanded angrily. Ali rolled her eyes. "I don't know anything about your skill set." The Purple Ranger scowled under her helmet. The five Shining Zords yelled as they raced down the streets of Rainbow Hills.
~Dark Zone Empire~
Arbon and Marzon stepped forward in surprise as they watched the battle from their home. "WHAT ARE THEY?!" Arbon demanded angrily. The monster hadn't accounted for the humans being able to fight back in this manner. Marzon stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Shining Zords, huh?" He mused. "How is it possible for these puny humans to create such objects?" Marzon wondered.
~Rainbow Hills~
The Rangers ran towards the Zords as the giant battle vehicles zoomed down the streets. "Hop on in, Power Rangers!" The Shining Fire Truck Zord declared. Ali cheered, and each Ranger jumped into their respective Zord's cockpit. "Alright, Rainbow Squad Rangers! Let's move out, and finish this monster!" Ali declared. "First, we have to stop the monster from moving any further!" Chloe commanded, as the Jet Fighter Zord whirled around in the air. "Yeah, LET'S DO THIS THING!" She cheered enthusiastically. "I'm going to fly circles around this asshole!" The Jet Fighter Zord cheered, proceeding to fly around the Giga Faucet at hyper speeds, slicing it over and over with her jet blades. The monster roared in anger, crashing into some scaffolding and causing it to fall down, landing hard on the concrete. Meanwhile, the Helicopter Zord rushed in, avoiding debris from the battle.
Sam let out a shout. "That's unhygienic, and unforgivable!" The Pink Ranger shouted. Helicopter Zord shouted as well, and her wings began moving at hyper speeds, sending powerful energy blasts at the monster combined with more debris. "Heave HO!" Shovel Car Zord declared, using his scooper to send debris flying into the monster's nose, blocking his faucet. "Time to punish the bad guys!" Helicopter Zord declared, opening up her back end, revealing some sort of winch-like mechanism. "GO!" She cheered, as a massive rope like substance shot out, and muzzled the monster. Abby yelled as she drove the Supercar Zord up a building, launching it into the monster's face. "MACH SPEED!" Supercar Zord shouted, as sparks flew from the force of the impact.
Abby yelled again as she drove the Supercar Zord around the monster's feet, causing it to get dizzy as she drove on an angle. "Let's hose you down at Max Power!" Fire Truck Zord declared, firing a powerful jet of water at the monster. Giga Faucet was forced back against a building, not being able to move as the jet stream continued. Behind him, Helicopter Zord was carrying Shovel Car Zord via ropes. "Carefully, quietly…" Helicopter murmured. "Boop!" Sam declared, pressing a button, and releasing the yellow Zord, causing her to bounce and unfurl. "Ouch! Be careful where you drop someone!" The Zord shouted angrily, before using his claw to turn the faucet. However, Shovel Car Zord accidentally turned the faucet the wrong way, causing more sludge to be released. "Dammit, wrong direction!" He complained.
Abby sighed. "Dude, really? I'll fix that mistake." The Green Ranger decided. She positioned the Supercar Zord right behind the Fire Truck Zord, and stepped on the pedals hard, causing smoke to emit from the wheels. "Just like that! Let's keep up the hype max level!" Fire Truck Zord declared. A minute later, Abby drove the Supercar Zord right up on Fire Truck's ladder, launching himself off of it. Abby cheered, and dropped Supercar Zord in gem form right on the monster's faucet, closing it. "FLYING TACKLE!" Both Abby and Supercar Zord shouted together, before racing off. "Now, lemme at him! My turn to do some slicing and dicing!" Jet Fighter Zord shouted, flying forward. In a flash of blue energy, she had used her blades to slice and dice the monster's tentacles off, causing it to roar in agony.
Ali beamed. "Alright, Rainbow Squad Rangers! LET'S FINISH THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!" She declared, holding her hand out. "SHINING STONE BOMBER!" The Purple Ranger shouted. "ROGER!" The Zords and other Rangers replied as one. The four Shining Zords turned back into their gemstone forms, stacking on top of one another. Ali yelled, and began turning the wheel of her Fire Truck Zord, using the ladder as a hammer of sorts to send each Zord flying at the monster in the order of Pink, Green, Blue, Yellow, supercharging each Zord with energy. Each attack on the monster caused it to sparkle and crackle with an overload of energy. "With our hype levels at max, we're at max SPARKLE!" Shining Fire declared happily.
Giga Faucet roared one last time, before falling over, and exploding massively, which also caused the magic circle to vanish. Princess Emerald ran up on the hill, watching the battle. "At last, the five Hoseki warriors have been gathered." She clasped her hands together. "Please, watch over them." She murmured softly. "We'll defend the Earth, and I'll make sure it won't fall to the Empire." Emerald added to herself. "WE WON!" Ali cheered, bouncing up and down in her cockpit. "That was so awesome!" Abby added, pumping her fist. "We did a wonderful job." Chloe said stoically, but she was smiling underneath. "Oh yeah!" Alexian cheered, doing a little victory dance.
Earth Protection League Defense Base, Quartz
Tommy laughed as he watched them from the base. "Come on, Rangers. Come on back to base so you can recuperate from the battle." He smiled. Within five flashes of light, the Rangers teleported back into the Quartz base, Ali looking around in awe. "This place is amazing!" Ali cheered. Tommy smiled at his oldest daughter. "We built this place with the help of S.P.D. Newtech, and Grid Battleforce Coral Harbor branch." Tommy explained. "The tech here is cutting edge, and will help us in our battle against the Dark Zone Empire." He added. "What is this Empire thing?" Ali tilted her head.
Emerald sighed as she spoke up. "The Dark Zone Empire is made up of beings who drain the life force, hope, and magic from planets, to make it fit for their Empress to rule. They have conquered millions of planets before they came to my homeworld of Hoseki. They want to rule the world by turning it into a dry husk. They conquered my planet, and murdered my mother, the Queen, but I was able to escape." The alien Princess explained sadly. "With the help of Tommy, and the two organizations he mentioned earlier, we built this base, then recruited you Rangers to help us battle those monsters."
She finished her explanation. Ali nodded. "I'll do whatever I can to help. I'm not backing down from this fight." She assured Emerald. Tommy smiled. "That's my girl. Now, more backstory tomorrow. Today, we celebrate!" Their mentor declared. The new Power Rangers cheered, and put their fists in a circle. "Rainbow Squad, Shine On!" Ali started. "Rainbow Squad, Shine ON!" The rest of the Rangers cheered happily.
