Chapter Two: Tremors
A woman stood outside the wedding watching as the plumbers dragged some mud aliens away she pressed a finger to her ear, "The plumbers just arrived and dragged some aliens away," she said,
"Be patient we'll be in position soon," the voice said from the other side,
"How can I be patient when this is the perfect opportunity for me to get my revenge and you medieval rejects are tryna make me miss it?," she asked,
"Well what can you do?," he asked sarcastically,
"Buy a freakin watch, I have one it's how I knew to be here on time," she hissed into the earpiece,
"Listen I understand your need to strike but everything needs to be perfect so we can-,"
"If you don't get your larping bum outta your mommies basement right the HFIL now then I swear to Godzilla I'll take this place on alone and trust me when I'm done the plumbers will be on high alert and you won't get a scrap of alien tech to salvage," She said,
A sigh came from the other end, "Fine we'll get on the road now," he said,
"Aw thanks sweetie," she cooed "how far away are you?,"
"Sixteen to twenty,"
"Minuets?," she asked, "Yeah I guess I can wait that long,"
"Miles,"
"...The rage bacon did y'all just say to my face?," she asked,
"Well the nearest base is pretty far away so-,"
"How long have you bucketheads been preparing for?,"
"Six weeks, since you told us of this opportunity to get more gear,"
"Sweet Christmas," she groaned, "Fine ya know what?, That's freakin fine, it's cool that I've been planning this sweet raid on the plumbers since I heard about it and then I told you guys in hopes of using you to help enact muh ultra secret plan that involves me snagging an alien princess in an attempt to make her parents angry enough to invade and crush the plumbers stationed on earth, but nooooooo, you guys are like totally crushing my plans dude so ya know what?," she asked taking a breath, "Imma just start phase one and hope you ye olde timers are in position by then," She walked toward the venue,
-Inside-
The entire group sat at a table except Lucy who bounced around, "Thank you all for saving our special day," Camille said,
"It's okay we weren't gonna just let them destroy the wedding," Max said,
"Yeah big sis's happiest day can't be ruined by some old fashioned jerks," Lucy said boxing the air,
"That a fact?," they turned to see a woman in a white mask with a neutral facial expression on it strapped over her face walking toward them, "Good evenin all," she said tipping an imaginary hat toward them, "Especially you Maxwell," she said holding her arms out as if asking for a hug, "It sure has been a while, betcha don't even recognise me anymore,"
Max shook his head, "No, but you do seem familiar,"
"Excuse me miss?," Joel said, "This is a private wedding so I'm going to have to ask you to leave," he said,
She chuckled "Private eh?," she nodded, "I know that, it's just I had ta ask how ya tricked yourself inta marrying a mud monster?,"
Lucy stomped over to her "Hey lady you can't say that, they're in love and can marry whoever they want," she pouted and crossed her arms, "And for the record we're aliens not monsters,"
"Really?," the woman asked, "Well that's funny y'see-," she lifted an arm up, "cause I am a monster," a bubble formed around her fist,
"LUCY GET AWAY FROM HER!," Max shouted,
"Too late," The woman drawled before twisting her body around and slapping Lucy with the bubble which splattered her onto the wall and ruptured the bubble sending a shockwave after her which brought down the wall on top of Lucy,
Then the woman jumped over Lucy's lower half and punched the ground, the entire area began shaking as a massive earthquake started, Max grabbed Ben and Gwen and threw them away just as the ground crumbled dropping them into a freshy made chasm,
Lucy reformed her body, "That power?," she gasped "GUYS DON'T FIGHT HER," she cried "THERE'S NO WAY WE CAN WIN!,"
But Ben ignored her "No way," he activated the Omnitrix and turned into Fourarms, "Help them out now or I'll toss you in after them," he warned charging at her,
"Ben no stop," Lucy begged, "She has the power to destroy the world!,"
Ben grabbed her arm, "Let them out," he demanded glaring down at the woman,
"Ain't how ma powers work pumpkin," she said, "though you really should pick on someone your own size," she kneed him in the stomach cracking the air as she did, the force pushed Ben back a few steps, the pain actually hurt him making him keel over,
"And while you are in fact correct about ma powers darlin," the woman said turning to Lucy, "I found a way to destroy ma foes without destroying the world," she formed a bubble around her hand, "You see it's all about the size of the vibrating bubble which determines the magnitude of the quake," the bubble vanished and she pressed her belt as Ben recovered and lunged forward grabbing her by the coat,
"Got you," He said, "wait," he lifted the coat as the woman wasn't wearing it, "where did she go?," he asked dropping the coat, Lucy came over as Gwen found a spell to levitate her family out of the ground,
"Be careful Ben she could be anywhere," Lucy warned reforming her hands into big meaty claws,
"You seem to know what she's capable of, any ideas what she might do?," Ben asked,
"In one of the pagey things my sister gave me had a man called Whitebeard who did a similar thing with the bubbles and the quakes, though I'm not really sure how to stop her," Lucy said,
"Hey look," Ben said pointing to a path of ice that was forming and leading to Gwen, Both Ben and Lucy shared a look and ran over to the path just then the woman who was now about four half inches tall, sliding along the ice, she turned and waved at him,
"Wh-," he shook his head and raised his arms "she shrunk!," he exclaimed smashing the path she was on, she jumped off and ran up his arm he tried swatting at her but she jumped over it aiming a pistol at him, a beam shot out freezing two of his eyes, "GAH!," he cried clutching his face, the woman leaped up making a bubble around her fist and hit fourarms with it rupturing the bubble knocking him down,
Lucy jumped away from Ben wondering how the woman might try to get past her, then the woman grew back to her regular size, she cradled Ben's head, "There there hero," she cooed, "here let me give you a goodbye kiss," she said lifting up her mask and lowering her head to Ben's, as she pressed her lips to his forehead she began vibrating shaking him massively before tossing him aside,
"Gotcha," Lucy said grabbing the Woman, "Now stay there while Gwen get's the fam outta the hole,"
The woman seemed to consider it, "I have a better idea," she said before she started vibrating shaking the mud off of her, then she aimed a gun at Lucy,
"Ha that's easy for a warrior princess like myself to dodge," Lucy chided, then her eyes went wide, "or is that that point?," she asked turning around, 'I was right,' she thought 'If I dodge Gwen will get hit,' she turned back, "You suck," she said sticking her tongue out,
The woman pulled the trigger and the beam froze Lucy solid, "I know," she said holstering it on her belt, she wrapped her arms around Lucy and lifted her "Whew somebody's watching their girlish figure," she joked,
"LIZZIE!," Max shouted as the others got out of the hole, the plumbers except Joel levelled guns at her,
The woman rolled her eyes putting the Princes-sicle down as she made two bubbles over her fists, "Oh hey Maxie Y'all remembered ma name," she said putting a hand over her heart, "I'm touched," she spat bitterly,
"Why are you doing this?," he asked,
"What you remember my name but nothing else old man?," she tutted waving a finger, "Not something ya should tell a young lady such as myself," she aimed her hand at him, "Especially one with ma powers," she chuckled seeing the terror on their faces,
"You know this masked woman Max?," Betty Jean asked,
He nodded, "Her name is Lizzie Amvia, she's the daughter of Justin Follard the infamous jewel thief, and Dr Amy Amvia one of the plumbers scientists, she has the ability to generate vibrations and a genius level intellect," Max said, "And that 'mask' is a prosthetic it covers her face,"
"Or rather my lack of one, It's also bulletproof," Lizzie said tapping the top part of it, "so do yourselves a favour and don't bother shooting,"
"Why are you here?," Max asked,
"Really?," Lizzie asked, "After all this time you ask me why?," she asked sitting down, "Not sorry, not excuses, but why?," Lizzie shook her head, "guess other then trivia you did in fact forget all about me," she stated darkly, then she shrugged, "Welp what can ya do?," she asked, "I'm just here for a quick pickup and then I'm off,"
"You won't get far," Max said, "we will find you,"
"You made promises to me before Max," Lizzie said, "I know you have a little problem with actually keeping them," she cancelled out one of the bubbles on her hand and picked Lucy up again, "I guess its farewell for now Maxie," she said leaving,
"LUCY!," Camille shouted turning her fingers to claws and almost lunging at her,
"No!," Max said grabbing Camille, "Lizzie's power is unstable if you force her to use it she'll shatter everything," He warned,
"B-but Lucy," Camille cried,
"I've got her," Gordan said following after the woman,
"I'll go the other way," Betty said running down the corridor,
Max looked down at Ben he placed two fingers to his neck and let out a breath, "He's still alive,"
"Grandpa who was that woman?," Gwen asked, "Why did she take Lucy?,"
Max put a hand to his chin, "Warrior Princess," he turned to Camille, "that's what Lucy said,"
Camille turned to him her human features melting into mud as rage consumed her, Joel wrapped his arms around her, "Don't worry," he said, "we'll get her back,"
She nodded taking a breath to compose herself, "Lucy isn't just an ordinary Leopolan, she's the princess of our home planet,"
Max's eyes widened, "No," he shook his head, "Lizzie what are you doing?,"
"Grandpa?," Gwen asked,
"That's really really bad," Max stated, "We have to find Lizzie quickly, or else she'll spark the war again, only this time it'll be on our doorstep,"
Just then Betty Jeane came back in, "Max it's the Knights!,"
"The Knights?," he asked,
"H.Q just reported The Forever Knights have destroyed several hidden plumber H.Q's around the world at once,"
"Lizzie," Max growled, "Everybody help me get him in the Rustbucket," he said, "Gwen get the coat she left behind,"
OCTOPUS-Time skip-OCTOPUS
Ben groaned as he woke up, "What hit me?,"
"A southern woman wearing a prosthetic face who just happened to be a walking earthquake maker," Gwen said,
Ben groaned again more in annoyance then in pain, "Why can't I have any normal villains?," He jumped off his bed and saw he was in the Rustbucket,
Max and Betty Jeane were at the front, Camille and Joel were sat at the table looking worried, all had abandoned their wedding clothes and wore their Plumber Jumpsuits, except Camille who was in her humanoid mud form,
"That woman who knocked Fourarms' block off also froze and took Lucy," Gwen said, then she pulled him closer, "And she knew Grandpa Max, but he refused to say anything,"
"Because I couldn't remember much," Max said, "And I still can't,"
"Maybe she did something to your head?," Ben asked,
Camille looked at him, "P-please can you find Lucy?," she asked, "Max told us about the watch while you were passed out,"
Ben scratched his head, "I-,"
Gwen held Lizzie's coat in front of him, "This was her coat,"
"-Can totally help then," He grabbed the coat and opened the door, he activated the Omnitrix, as the dial popped up he selected Wildmutt and slammed down the top, Ben's body grew and shifted, his muscles expanded and shifted, fur covered his body and his eyes turned green, claws grew out of his fingers and a tail grow out of his lower back, he let out a loud howl before his eyes began glowing,
Ben looked down at his claws, "Huh, haven't been uh Benwolf?, in a while,"
"Ben can you follow her scent?," Max asked,
Ben smelled the coat and handed it back to Gwen who closed the door, "Yeah I can see her scent, but we have ten minutes before I turn back so step on it," Ben dashed off following the scent and Max followed Ben,
In three minuets they came up to a warehouse,
"This is where the sent ends," Ben said, the others exited the rust bucket,
"Does anyone find this weirdly easy?," Gwen asked,
"Yeah, like she wasn't spooked at all when I turned into Fourarms before," Ben said,
"Or the fact she 'conveniently' forgot to take her coat?, or that her secret base is only three minutes from the venue?, and she took the most direct path here?," Gwen asked,
But blinded by anger and worry Camille ran into the steel door and crashed through it, "I'M COMING SIS," she screamed,
Ben shrugged and leapt in after her with Gwen and Joel following behind him,
Suddenly the Rustbucket's radio roared to life Max and Betty turned to see what had caused the noise, "Surprise!," Lizzie said through the radio as an energy barrier formed over the door, "And I would not recommend touching that, it has enough volts going through it to chargrill anyone dumb enough to,"
"Lizzie why are you doing this?," Max asked,
"You really don't remember anything do ya Max?," she genuinely asked,
"I don't, what did I do to you?," He asked,
"Soon enough Maxie," she said watching the confused combatants from on top of a desk at the size of an ant, she took an ice cube out of her pocket and threw it at them pressing her fingers together making the cube begin to grow,
Camille turned to the object and screamed in anger ready to smash it, but Ben tackled her to the ground before she could, "GET OFF ME IT'S-,"
"My dad," Joel gasped as it hit the ground, showing Gordan frozen in a solid block of ice,
Camille gasped she'd nearly-, "J-Joel I'm sorry, I-," she froze, "He grew out of thin air I thought-,"
"It's not your fault, she was gonna make you smash him!," Ben growled, 'This woman's worse then Kevin,'
"Not really Ben, I was just handing him back to ya'll," Lizzie's smug voice came through the speakers in the room, Then she attempted an obviously fake innocent tone as she said, "I never would've expected that miss Camille would attempt to murder her own father in law,"
"That's a lie!," Gwen cried, "You ordered the Forever Knights to attack the plumbers to start a war,"
"Did I?, maybe the knights just wanted some plumber tech,"
"Where's Lucy?," Joel asked, surprising everyone,
"You care about that mess of slime?," Lizzie asked before chuckling, "Right sorry I forgot, it's not her you care about, it's her crown,"
"This is getting us nowhere," Ben said stomping forward,
"Hey furball!," Gwen cried stopping him, "Don't forget she took both you and Lucy on before,"
"She's right Ben," Joel said holding Camille, "It's fine," he whispered into her ear, "You didn't mean to," she nodded and he helped her up, "Listen up everyone!," he called, "We're fighting an opponent smarter, stronger, and much more prepared then us, form a line in front of the door, and stay away from anything she throws, it could be rigged to blow,"
The others nodded, and followed Joel's instructions, Ben and Camille were in the middle, Gwen on Ben's left, Joel on Camille's right, Ben's mouth opened as he charged a sonic howl, Camille shaped her hands into multiple tendrils, Joel pulled a blaster Max had given him,
Suddenly Lizzie chuckled through the speakers, "Oh ready to fight are you?," Then she grew in front of them "Good but ya must be aware that ya can't win,"
"And how do you figure that?," Gwen asked,
"Cause-," Lizzie spun around throwing some tiny pellets at the four, then she dropped to her knees and pressed her fingers together making them larger they grew into massive steel beams,
BenWolf opened his mouth and let out a sonic scream that stopped the bars,
Then Cammile wrapped tendrils around the bars and with a scream threw them at Lizzie,
"You think that'll stop me?," Lizzie said running towards the beams, she jumped and shrunk running along the beams, she leapt over BenWolf's sonic howl and landed on his snout,
"Huh?," Ben said looking at Lizzie who waved at him before she quake stomped his nose, "AARRRGHH!," Ben cried as he fell over, Lizzie jumped in front of Gwen, and grew,
"Hey Cammile how's your cousin doing?,"
A mud arm formed around Lizzie, "Not falling for it," she said "Now where's my sister?,"
"Oh you wanted to see her, why didn't you say so?," Lizzie asked, "There's a capsule on my belt, she's in there,"
The mud hand opened and the capsule was held to Cammile, "Hold on Cammile," Joel approached the capsule, this is-,"
"An energy prison," Lizzie said as she phased through the mud grabbing the capsule, she pressed a button and threw it into the air before shrinking,
"Oh no," Joel said as a bright light emanated from the capsule, "DOWN!," He shouted jumping on Gwen,
"GWEN!, BEN!, JOEL!," Max shouted, While Betty Jeane just covered her mouth,
When the light had faded, everyone was still there, but they now had energy cuffs around their hands and feet, "What are these?," Ben asked,
"Energy cuffs," Lizzie explained as she returned to her normal size, "Can't break them, can't struggle around them,"
"Why are you doing this?," Joel asked,
"Like I told Max," Lizzie said pulling Ben to his feet putting a hand on his head, "Soon enough,"
"What are you doing?," Gwen asked,
"Sooner or later you'll track down where I'm keeping Lucy, on my terms," Lizzie said opening a hidden doorway, "I'm making sure that happens later rather then sooner," she dragged Ben down the hallway, "We'll see you all later, Ciao," she said as the door shut,
