Anyways, I hope you enjoy this episode that I have written.
I do not own anything from Bakugan, Httyd, Dreamworks, or anything made by other people except for my own creation and designs.
Anyway, let's start this chapter, BAKUGAN BRAWL!
Playground, Berk...
It's early in the morning on Monday in the town and the island of Berk.
"Ugh! Come on! How come Useless's stupid Bakugan can talk and you can't?! So how come you can't? It's annoying!" Snotlout shouted in annoyance as he was walking through a playground at another park.
He was trying to head to school so he decided to take a shortcut to there but turns out his shortcut was longer than he expected it to be, like always.
But Snotlout, he was wanting and trying to his make Pyrus Cyndeous talk to him like Toothless was talking to his useless cousin.
"Oh, Come on." Snotlout pleaded as he raced to school. "If you're inside there, say something, ANYTHING!" He whined and when he go no response he sighed and said. "Can't believe I'm about to resort to this... Pretty please with a cherry on top."
Snotlout tapped his Pyrus Cyndeous in order to make his Bakugan talk to him. He only received even more silence.
"Grr... SAY SOMETHING!" Snotlout growled before he shouted in anger.
Just then, a powerful gust of wind blew past Snotlout making the Pyrus egomaniac stop trying to make his Bakugan talk and freeze in slight fear.
That... That didn't feel like the normal breeze that Snotlout wasn't used to for some reason. It felt cold and vicious.
This wind... it left a chill throughout his entire skeleton and gave him a feeling of someone watching him from nearby. Someone that knew who they were, what they can do, and how to cause more misery to others than himself. Someone who certainly wouldn't be the person you want to mess with.
The powerful wind blew the swings seats up into the air as the trash cans' lid was rocking back and forth rapidly.
"What's going on?" Snotlout asked afraid.
He then heard some grass being crushed underneath someone's foot behind him.
So, turning around, albeit slowly and cautiously, he saw someone that was clearly not there before.
The figure was male, obviously due to the body structure. His body was facing away from Snotlout. He wore a black cape-like tailcoat that is only buttoned up around his chest with a midnight blue shirt underneath. He also wore a belt that wrapped around him multiple times and a circular belt buckle. He wore purple pants with a white stripe at the sides as well as black boots. His hair is shaggy with a haunting black color and purple streaks. He wears one red fingerless glove on his left hand and a royal purple glove on his right hand. On his face is a purple mask with a sharp 'M' shaped Persian red visor.
"Who are you!?" Snotlout challenged the figure.
The figure said nothing as he held up a Transporter Card as Snotlout realized what this freaky guy wants.
"A Bakugan Brawler? So you're here to challenge me, is that it, Edge Lord? Well then, be prepared to lose to me, Snotlout Jorgenson, Pyrus Brawler of the Bakugan Dragon Brawlers!" Snotlout bragged as he held out his Transporter Card.
"By the way, I didn't catch your name, Edge Lord." Snotlout insulted The Masked Brawler.
"I never said it." The Masked Brawler said holding up his Transporter Card, his voice deep and echoing that could send shivers up anyone's spine.
"Call me... Masque." Masque introduced himself to Snotlout.
The two Brawlers flipped their Transporter Card as time then froze as the two were transported to the Battle Field.
The Battle between Pyrus user Snotlout and the Masked Brawler began...
...
...
...
...
...
...
But the battle didn't last long as Snotlout suddenly screamed.
"AAAAAHHHHH!" Snotlout screamed as a menacing and terrifying Black and Purple Wyvern-like Dragon with red eyes flew right at him.
The only other sound you could hear if time wasn't paused would have been a fearsome roar.
"ROOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRR!" A fearsome roar echoed all throughout the time-frozen town of Berk.
And just like that, Time quickly resumed again like nothing ever happened.

Berk High School, Mrs. Phlegma 1st Period...
Hiccup and Fishlegs were on their way to 1st Period at Berk High as Toothless was on Hiccup's shoulder in his true ball form.
"Okay, I tried to find any records on Furynoids, but the search showed as nothing." Fishlegs told Hiccup and Toothless as he was trying to find anything on Furynoids, but found nothing.
So now, he and Hiccup took it upon themselves to make a Bakugan file for Furynoids. All that he and his friend have is that Furynoids are four-legged, Dragon-like Bakugan with 2 tail fins, 2 fins on the middle of their tails, retractable teeth, and 2 large ear flaps and are built for speed and flying through sharp, tight corners.
"It's seems Toothless is a unrecorded and rare Bakugan not known to the Bakugan community. A first of his kind to ever be recorded by humans. Isn't that something to be proud of." Hiccup said looking at Toothless. "And that means you can be the first to have a record on Furynoids."
"I suppose so, but why bring me along to this "Sss-cool" of yours? I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself." Toothless said with annoyance in his voice and thinking about being the first recorded Furynoid.
"Is that why you were pouting, Big Baby Boo?" Hiccup teases his Darkus Dragon Bakugan Partner.
"I refuse to respond to that." Toothless said, looking away from Hiccup.
"Then stop pouting, bud." Hiccup chuckled. "Whelp, here's Mrs. Phlegma's Class, better go into ball form, Tooth. Don't want to get in trouble or get you taken away." He tells Toothless about what would happen if someone that didn't know Bakugan saw him.
"Pfft, Whatever floats your Krakelios." Toothless said as he goes into ball form as Hiccup grabs him and puts him in the right side of his backpacks' pocket.
Hiccup rolled his eyes as he heard Toothless say that before he and Fishlegs entered the classroom.
Inside the classroom, the desks were aligned 5-by-6 with Hiccup's being the 2nd desk next to the door and in the very back.
Hiccup walked to his desk as Fishlegs sat at the 3rd desk in the middle row. Hiccup placed Toothless on his Desk as he opened his Backpack and grabbed what he needed and placed his backpack behind him after he got what he needed.
Hiccup then listed all of this class materials that he needed with him.
"Completed Homework: Check, Notebook: Check..." Hiccup kept listing things, including people and when they arrive, which is impressive and disturbing.
'I can sense Vestroia's is in trouble, yet I'm stuck here listening this kid list things and people.' Toothless thought to himself. 'I need to figure out who has messed with the Silent and Infinity Core and put a stop to them.'
"Cue Snotlout being almost late in 3... 2... 1..." Hiccup said closing his eyes as he pointed at the door.
The door opened and the person who walked out wasn't Snotlout, but was Mrs. Phlegma instead, it wasn't (almost) normal for Snotlout to be late for school.
"Mornin' class." Mrs. Phlegma tiredly says as she went to her desk.
Hiccup was surprised to say the least, like many of the other students.
"Th-That's weird, Snotlout's usually never late, even when he wants to be." Hiccup whispered in confusion.
"What's so strange about that?" Toothless questioned hearing Hiccup.
"Snotlout usually tries to wake up late, fake being sick, say he doesn't have school today, accidentally take long short cuts, or intentionally walk slow and he almost succeeds, specifically in that order, heck, everyone knows how Snotlout acts because we have a CLASSROOM to teach us exactly that due to him." Hiccup quietly explained to Toothless so he doesn't get caught.
"That is both impressive and disturbing." Toothless said impressed and disturbed about how this school has a classroom that teaches kids about Snotlout's failed tendencies to be late.
"Alright, attendance everyone. Say your name so I know you're here." Mrs. Phlegma announces.
Mrs. Phlegma then starts to call out all the students names in order. As she noticed Snotlout didn't call his name, she was slightly surprised that Snotlout managed to intentionally and successfully be late for school for the first time.
That is, before the door to the classroom swung open. HARD.
Everyone in the classroom and outside in the other classes looked out to see who caused that loud slam.
It was Snotlout, who was breathing very heavily and had a shocked feared expression on his face as he looked around the classroom for something, or more specifically, someone.
"Mr. Jorgenson you're late, for the first time." Mrs. Phlegma said, surprised. "Do you have a Tardy..." Snotlout shoved the Tardy Slip to her forcefully as he entered the classroom and looked around with fear and horror in his eyes and movement.
Snotlout then landed his eyes on the person he wanted to talk to, as he kept breathing heavily in fear as he was shaking.
And that person was his cousin, Hiccup Haddock.
He quickly and forcefully made his way to his cousin with fear as he almost stumbled on his way to Hiccup.
Snotlout places both of his hands on his shoulders on his cousin's shoulders and gripped them tightly.
He then sat on his left knee as he looked at Hiccup dead straight in the eyes with fear and horror as some tears were coming out of his eyes.
"W-We have to warn the others." Snotlout whispered to his cousin as he was shaking with fear as his heavy breath and some spit landed on Toothless.
"Mr. Jorgenson, please go to your seat this instance." Mrs. Phlegma demanded Snotlout.
"(Heavy Breathing) Gather the gang and meet me after school at the park." Snotlout whispered to his cousin as he went to his seat with fear.
Hiccup, Toothless, and Fishlegs watched as Snotlout went to his desk.
"What just happened?" Toothless asked, thankfully the teacher didn't hear him, as he was going to need a bath to get rid of the spit on him from Snotlout.
"I have no idea." Hiccup simply said, he has never seen his cousin this terrified before.
After School, The Park...
After cleaning up Toothless with the bathroom sink, a paper towel, and a hand dryer. Hiccup gathered Astrid, Fishlegs, Ruffnut, and Tuffnut. He and the other Dragon Brawlers went to the park as Hiccup called Heather, who answered.
"Hey, What's up guys?" Heather says as she sees all the Brawlers on the screen sitting on the fountain as the computer is on a park bench. "Why are you all at the park?" She asked.
"Snotlout asked me to gather the gang cause he has something to tell us." Hiccup explained.
"Speaking of which, what's going on? Why did Snotlout called us?" Astrid asked curious.
"Snotlout was late for school, successfully. But he looked more frightened and horrified when he entered Mrs. Phlegma's class instead of prideful and self-confident like usual." Fishlegs told the other 4 Dragon Brawlers.
"G-Glad you can join me." A familiar egotistical voice stuttered in fear, it was Snotlout, and he was fearfully looking around the area to see if anyone is around.
"So, Snotty, what's on ya mind?" Tuffnut asked as he sat inside the fountain for some reason that only Ruffnut would know why.
"Yeah, Boar Brother, you don't seem like yourself today." Ruffnut added seeing Snotlout's terrified expression as he looked around.
"Y-Y-You weren't followed right, please tell me you weren't followed!" Snotlout exclaimed in fear making everyone flinch back.
"No. We weren't followed, and I made sure of that and The Bakugan Website is undetectable by the Internet or any government." Fishlegs said as everyone looked at him confused. "... What? You asked me to make a website that is untraceable to anyone unless they have a Transporter Card so that the Bakugans can remain a secret. So what's with the looks?"
"You are a sad, strange, husky man. And you have my pity." Toothless bluntly said popping out into his true ball form as he landed on Hiccup's right shoulder.
Toothless, due to having sentience, could only do basic movements which was roll around, open and close into ball form and true ball form, and do a bit of hovering, but not for very long, he guessed he could hover due to his wings, which he practiced last night as Hiccup slept.
"Anyways, Snotlout why did you call us?" Heather asked.
"Okay, I was on my way to school I choose to take a short cut through a playground, (whispering) and I also tried to make my Bakugan talk." Snotlout said whispering that last part. "When all of a sudden this Edge Lord Masked Brawler comes out of no where and he had challenged me to a Bakugan Battle, he calls himself Masque." He explains to them.
"Okay... whats so weird about that?" Tuffnut asked confused as to why this was weird.
"What's so weird about that? You hear that? WHAT'S SO WEIRD IS THAT HE DECIMATED MY ENTIRE TEAM OF PYRUS BAKUGAN WITH ONE SINGLE DARKUS BAKUGAN AND HE TOOK THEM! MY PYRUS SEIGE, PYRUS WARIUS, AND PYRUS C-CYNDEOUS! MY ENTIRE TEAM, GONE!" Snotlout suddenly shouted at Tuffnut.
"W-Whoa, calm down Snotlout. What do you mean he "took" your Bakugan? You mean this guy STOLE your Bakugans'?" Astrid asked as while Brawlers sometimes were bad at Bakugan, no one ever stole another person's Bakugan away from them.
"Yes! My Pyrus Cyndeous was my favorite Bakugan! Now stolen! Gone!" Snotlout started to tear up at losing his favorite Pyrus Bakugan.
"Uuuhh, Guys, he's not lying, look at the comments right now." Heather said looking at the comments of other people.
Everyone looked at Hiccup's Screen as Hiccup clicked the comments and saw everyone saying the same thing, some guy in a mask is stealing everyone's Bakugan and is climbing the Ranks, very FAST.
"Okay, What is going on? 6 months ago it was raining cards, 6 months later Talking Bakugan, a day later some guy in a mask is stealing everybody's Bakugan!" Fishlegs exclaimed in fear and shock.
"And that's not the worst of it yet, gang. Look." Hiccup said as the gang on Berk and Heather in America all looked at the Rankings and saw the top 10.
"No..." Snotlout said in shock.
"Freaking..." Fishlegs said in shock.
"Impossible..." Heather said in shock.
"Norse God..." Tuffnut said in shock.
"Damn..." Ruffnut said in shock.
"Way." Astrid said in shock.
What the gang all saw was this Masque Guy was now in the top 10 Brawlers already, in fact; he was already at Rank: 1, with Astrid's now at Rank: 2.
"This Masque Guy just took Rank: 1 already?!" Hiccup and Astrid shouted in anger and shock.
Astrid Hofferson... was no longer Rank: 1 anymore. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!
"H-He didn't even win fair and square! He stole other Brawlers Bakugan's away from them!" Hiccup said as he was furious, he loved Bakugan since he help make the game, at least that's what he thought it was originally, and this guy was just stealing other people's Bakugan and already hit Rank: 1 without even trying only cheating.
"Oh, That is IT! You can be Rank: 1, Masque, fine by me, but stealing other people's Bakugan to get to that Rank is CROSSING THE LINE!" Hiccup shouted.
"We need to stop this guy once and for all, he isn't playing fair!" Heather agreed.
"Uh... But how?" The Twins asked confused.
"The guy can go where ever, whenever he wants in the world, and we don't have a clue where to start." Ruffnut said.
"How are we gonna stop him if we can't find him?" Tuffnut asked. "The guy must know the fastest airplane pilot to get to where ever he wants or have a teleporter with him on all times."
"Oh ho ho, WE won't go to him, HE'LL come to us. I'm sending a video message to Masque to challenge him to a Bakugan Battle, me vs. him, you guys can come along if you want, but this is personal." Hiccup said as he went to Video Message so he can post his challenge to Masque.
"Hiccup, If one guys mess with the game we help make, test, and all play, you can BET your island I'm joining you, even if I can't be there with you, you all have my support in this." Heather said with a smirk.
"I just want my Pyrus Cyndeous back so I can have a rematch and crush his Bakugan, PAINFULLY!" Snotlout agreed in joining.
"Bakugan is our favorite game, you'd think we'll just run away like cowards?" Ruffnut asked with a chuckle wanting to join.
"The chance that's happening is -0, let's take him down! SO I'M WITH YOU, WHO ELSE IS WITH ME?!" Tuffnut shouted In excitement agreeing to join.
"First, 0 can't be a negative, Tuffnut. Second, The likeliness of me giving up on this is 0.000000000001%, so I'm in." Fishlegs agreed to join.
"This guy messed with the wrong team." Astrid said with a confident smirk she won Rank: 1 fair and square from Hiccup, so yeah, she's joining.
"How about you Toothless? You in?" Hiccup asked as everyone looked at the Darkus Bakugan to see if he wanted to join as well.
"I sense if we take this Masque guy on, it will lead me closer to what happened yesterday. But just remember this, Bakugan is more than "just a game", and there can and will be dire consequences if you aren't careful with your choices. So I'm in, partner." Toothless said and warned looking at Hiccup and the Gang could sense a confident smirk from his partner.

"Good. When one guy messes with one of us, he messes with ALL of us." Hiccup said as he started the video message.
Once the 7 Dragon Brawlers saw the red dot on the upper left corner they began the message.
"Hey, Masque. We know you're out there, so no use in hiding anymore." Hiccup started as he looked at the camera with his fake glasses off, giving an intimidating glare.
"You THINK we wouldn't notice you stealing other people's Bakugan and instantly climb the Ranks just like that!? Well then, You're dead wrong." Astrid said glaring at the screen.
"So our original leader, Henry "Hiccup" Haddock the Third, is challenging you to a Bakugan Brawl for all the Bakugan that you stole from every Brawler around the world." Heather said with her screen popping into the video message.
"Including my Pyrus Cyndeous!" Snotlout shouted at the screen. "No one bullies us and gets away with it. YOU HEAR ME?! NO ONE!"
"You hear that you Edge Lord Batman wannabe? You are going down and we're talking about you!" Ruffnut and Tuffnut shouted at the same time as they pointed at the camera.
Masque's lair...
"Meet us tomorrow after school underneath the railroad tracks at Ravens Point Avenue, that's where it's going down, winner leaves in victory, the loser leaves with nothing." Fishlegs added.
"But we have to warn you, I am the best Brawler at Bakugan... me and my Darkus Furynoid are going to bring you a world of pain. So, remember, you better show up, Freak, do I make myself clear, Masque?" Hiccup challenged Masque as Toothless sat on his shoulder.
Masque was watching the video message of Hiccup and the Dragon Brawlers petty attempt at terrifying him, he just smirks as he watches the video message.
Tomorrow Morning, After School...
Hiccup and the 5 other Brawlers were racing towards the Railroad station at Ravens Point Avenue. Hiccup, Fishlegs, and Astrid had no after school project until next week as they turned in their assignments.
"Out of the way, Move it or Lose it buddy!" Snotlout shouted as he pushed people out of the with the help of the Twins.
"Sorry about him, our bad. we're in a hurry." Hiccup apologizes helping an old woman up that Snotlout knocked over.
"No, No. It's fine, you're just in a hurry, run along." The old woman accepts Hiccup's apology.
"Come on, Useless. You're going to be late!" Snotlout said as he fully picked his cousin up and ran towards the Railroad.
"What a nice young lad. I hope nothing bad happens to him." The old lady said as she went on her way to the store.
"SNOTLOUT! PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW!" Hiccup shouted as he was carried by his egotistical cousin.
"No can do, you were almost late, you had checked all 10 different classes to see if you had any after school work and that was just for TODAY." Ruffnut said pacing behind Hiccup as she emphasized on the word "Today".
Snotlout then skidded to the right as he faced left, still holding Hiccup above him as he and the 5 other Dragon Brawlers ran towards the track.
"HEADS UP COMING THROUGH! WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE!" Snotlout shouted as Fishlegs and Astrid helped any other people in Snotlout's path.
"Stop moving me around so much! I feel like I'm about to lose my lunch!" Toothless shouted as he was about to puke from within Hiccup's Baku-Clip, apparently Toothless could eat food, somehow, but had a preference for fish, but despised eels, That made sense, Hiccup never liked eels either.
"Sorry, Toothless, But I never seen Snotlout this pumped up, it usually happens when he bullies me and Fishlegs or trying to flirt with Astrid and Heather." Hiccup apologized to Toothless.
"I'm SO pumped up! He won't stand a chance against you!" Tuffnut cheered his original leader.
Astrid then quickly and effortlessly caught up to Hiccup due to being an athlete in almost all sports.
"Okay, let's review what you have with you, OK?" Astrid said wanting Hiccup to make sure he got what he needed for his brawl.
"O-Okay, I-I have Toothless, which I still don't know his B-Power yet, Darkus Robotallion with 310 B's, and a better Darkus Serpenoid with 320 B's, I also have 3 better cards than last time; those being a Serpenoid Character Card, Darkness Thunderstorm, and, in case, Quartet Battle." Hiccup listed as he stuttered a bit when Astrid got close to his face.
"Good. Now go kick his butt for all the people who got their Bakugans stolen." Astrid rooted for Hiccup as the 15 year old boy blushed.
"LET'S GO! HICCUP! LET'S GO!" The Twins and Snotlout shouted as the 6 Brawlers headed towards the railroad at Ravens Point Avenue.
Ravens Point Avenue...
The 6 Dragon Brawlers arrived at the railroad bridge. The place was deserted except for 1 person and the 6 Dragon Brawlers of Berk.
The figure was big and slightly overweight (not fat shaming), he wore a yellow vest over a dark green shirt, black shorts and orange shoes with spiky brown hair.
"You again?" Hiccup said realizing who this was.
"You know this guy?" Astrid asked her original team leader.
"Wait, is that... Stór?" Fishlegs said realizing who it is as he was the bully that flipped him and Hiccup's trays out of their hands at lunch yesterday.
"Heheheheh." Stór lowly chuckled as he leaned against a doorway to underneath the railroad.
Another kid walked inside, this a shorter smaller kid with a light green T-Shirt and brown shorts.
"We've been waiting for you." Helia said.
"It's too bad your buddy, Masque, didn't show up." Stór said looking at him.
"Oh, what do you two want now? I'm kinda busy with something." Hiccup groaned at these two.
"You owe me. I demand to have a rematch." Stór demanded a rematch. "So pull out your cards and let's get this over with. Cause your about to lose to the Champion of Ventus." He said.
"GAAAHHH!" Snotlout screamed in anger as he stomped on the ground over and over again. "WE DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR ANY OF THIS! Now why don't you two beat it." Snotlout shouted before casually telling them to get lost.
Toothless then hovered out of his Baku-Clip and landed onto Hiccup's shoulder.
"Ugh , these two are like annoying pests that need to be exterminated. But they would be a fun, what you hue-mans call, a "Punching Bag". " Toothless said from Hiccup's Baku-Clip, annoyed by these two's persistence.
"Ugh, Tell me about it." Hiccup agreed with Toothless. "This is a complete waste of our time." Hiccup groaned as he was about to pull out a Transporter Card. "Might as well get this over with."
"Are you done? 'Cause get ready to lose punk!" Stór said pulling out a Transporter Card.
"Hold on, Hiccup. Let me, I need to vent out my frustration from yesterday." Astrid said.
"Alright, I need to take a break from him anyways." Hiccup said as he went to the other Dragon Brawlers of Berk.
"If you think I'm going to go easy on you just 'cause you're a girl. Then you got another thing comin'." Stór said as he grabbed his Transporter Card.
"Well, let's see if this will be a challenge for me." Astrid said pulling out her Transporter Card.
The other Dragon Brawlers and Helia grabbed their Transporter Card to act not as Brawlers but actually watchers.
"BAKUGAN FIELD OPEN!"
Stór's Transporter Card glowed Green as Astrid's Transporter Card glowed Blue.
The watchers of this Brawl Transporter Cards also glowed. Helia's was orange. Snotlout's was Red, Hiccup's was Purple, Fishlegs was also orange, Ruffnut and Tuffnut were Light Green.
Time around the world started to slow down around them as everything froze in place as the world changed around them and into the battle field.
"BRING IT ON!" Stór shouted.
"Ugh, you are just the embodiment of the relentless fat bully stereotype in media, aren't you?" Hiccup asked making Toothless, Astrid, Fishlegs and the Twins chuckled, as Snotlout snorted in laughter.
"Why yes I... HEY!" Stór agreed before realizing and then shouting.
"Nice one, Hiccup! Let's do this!" Astrid said as she pulled out a Gate Card.
"GATE CARD SET!" Astrid and Stór shouted as they threw their gate cards which landed opposite of each other.
"Lady's first." Stór said in a taunting tone, letting the new Dragon Brawlers Leader have the first turn.
"Here Toothless, you can sit on my shoulder while we form a strategy to beat Masque." Hiccup said grabbing the Darkus Furynoid and placing him on his left shoulder.
"That is a wise decision, even though I was eager to battle, it is also smart to come up with a plan of attack as well." Toothless spoke his thoughts out loud.
"You better not be like Snotlout! GATE CARD SET!" Astrid shouted as she tossed another Gate Card on the left side of her original Gate Card.
"BAKUGAN BRAWL!" Astrid shouted as she tossed her Bakugan out onto the Field as it landed on Stór's Gate Card.
"AQUOS SIEGE STAND!" Astrid shouted as the Aquos Bakugan revealed it's true form.
A giant blue knight-like creature with orange eyes and light blue accents on his armor, wearing a cyan silk cape holding a large jousting lance in his armored left hand.
"HURRAAAH!" Siege shouted as he rose from the Gate Card raising his lance into the sky.
"Good start, Astrid!" Hiccup cheered his secret crush.
"It surprises me that you made a game about us." Toothless said, intrigued by the game of Bakugan.
"Yeah, the rules are each player has only 3 Bakugan and 3 Gate Cards that they can use. The goal is to defeat your opponent's Bakugan and earn 3 Gate Cards, there are multiple ways to do this. One is Brawl, the Second is a Double Stand, and the Third is Critical Strike, where you knock the Opposing Bakugan off the Gate Card and immediately win that card." Fishlegs explained the rules to the Furynoid.
"So, this is really nothing but a game to you who-mans?" Toothless questions Fishlegs.
"Huh?" Fishlegs, Snotlout, Ruffnut, and Tuffnut said hearing Toothless.
"Well, all except for me, I don't know why, but I feel a connection to my Bakugan, before you arrived I felt like they always heard my voice and all of my praises to them for 6 months. But with you, a Bakugan able to talk, it gives me hope that all of my Bakugan actually heard my compliments and praises for them." Hiccup explained to Toothless.
Toothless didn't say anything, but Hiccup could sense Toothless was giving him a thankful smirk.
"Ha! Is that all you can do? BAKUGAN BRAWL!" Stór shouted as he tossed a green Bakugan towards his opponent's Bakugan.
"VENTUS ARTULEAN STAND!" Stór shouted as his Bakugan revealed it's true form.
Rising up from his Gate Card, a giant green android-like Bakugan arose now confronting Siege, he had yellow accents around his face like a helmet, knees, hands, and waist. His back was large and design for speed.
"GRAAAAHHHH!" Ventus Artulean shouted as he arose.
Baku-Cores surrounded the field as some glowed and others didn't the only two colors were green and blue.
"Now let's see if you can handle this!" Stór shouted as he activated his Gate Card's effect. "Gate Card Open!" He shouted as his Gate Card glowed Green and opened.
Ventus Artulean was now surrounded by wind as he felt his Power increase.
"Ventus Artulean B-Power has increased from 2-5-0 B's to 3-6-0 B's." The Baku-Pods inform the Dragon Brawlers, and Helia.
"Way to go bro!" Helia cheered his big brother.
"Take 'em down now, Artulean!" Stór shouted as Artulean started to quickly rush towards Astrid's Siege, ready to tackle the blue knight down like a football player-
"I DON'T THINK SO!" Astrid shouted as she rushed towards a mild glowing light blue Baku-Core.
"Ability Activate: FLIPSTRIKE!" Astrid shouted as she tossed the mild glowing Baku-Core at her Siege.
The Baku-Core circled Astrid's Siege before the lance-wielding Bakugan pierces the Core with his lance and absorb the energy of the core into himself.
Ventus Artulean kept his trail towards Aquos Siege, But before the Green Android Bakugan could tackle the Blue Knight Bakugan, Siege pierced Artulean shoulder and tossed the Ventus Bakugan onto Astrid's 2nd Gate Card.
The Baku-Cores disappeared from the field.
"Hey, What was that for?! Afraid to fight like a man?!" Stór yelled with a tick mark on his head.
"Nope, just fighting like a woman." Astrid confidently said as she took out another Bakugan.
"BAKUGAN BRAWL!" Astrid shouted as she tossed her 2nd Bakugan onto the field as it landed on her first Gate Card.
"AQUOS BOXER STAND!" Astrid shouted as her 2nd Bakugan opened up.
Rising up from Astrid's 1st Gate Card is a giant mechanical humanoid-like blue Bakugan with light blue accents and wore something similar to a professional boxer. His orange fists are huge and are in the form of Boxing Gloves. (1)
"HAH! HAH!" Aquos Boxer shouted as he shadow boxes the air and punches his boxing gloves together twice.
"Let's see you get outta this one!" Stór yelled as he took out another Ventus Bakugan.
"BAKUGAN BRAWL!" Stór yelled as he threw his Bakugan onto the field, which landed on the Gate Card that Aquos Boxer was on.
"VENTUS GARGONOID STAND!" Stór exclaimed as his Ventus Bakugan revealed it's true form.
Arising from Astrid's 1st Gate Card is a giant gargoyle-like Bakugan with Green skin, 2 light green forward curved horns, and 2 dark green wings.
"GRAAAAAAHHHH!" Ventus Gargonoid roared as he took to the sky before landing on the ground.
Baku-Cores covered the field once again.
"Heh, too easy." Astrid said as she spotted a powerful glowing Baku-Core and raced towards it, she picked it up and frisbee tossed it to her Bakugan. "Ability Activate: ONE-TWO KNOCKBACK!"
The Baku-Core spun around Aquos Boxer's body as it went into the large boxing belt around his waist.
Aquos Boxer gave a hard right hook to Ventus Gargonoid moving the green gargoyle back as his heel and tail were behind Astrid's 2nd Gate Card before Aquos Boxer gives another hard left hook which caused the Ventus Bakugan to stand on Astrid's 2nd Gate Card with Ventus Artulean.
The Baku-Cores disappeared from the field once again.
"What! How'd you do that?!" Stór demanded answers.
"Simple really, Any and All Attributed Boxers have the One-Two Knockback special ability, which can move a Bakugan on a Gate Card that Boxer stands on to another Gate Card of my choosing." Astrid explained with a smirk.
"Grr! Doesn't matter, you just gave me an easy win due to double stand!" Stór said as he was about to pick the Gate Card up when-
"I don't think so, Gate Card Open: WHIRLPOOL!" Astrid shouted with her right arm out.
Astrid's Gate Card glowed blue as a Giant whirlpool appeared from underneath Ventus Artulean and Gargonoid, which pulled them under and they both turned back into their ball forms and flew back to Stór.
"W-WHAT?!" Stór stuttered in shock.
"If you haven't guessed it already, Whirlpool is a Gate Card that regardless if it's a friend or foe, when two Bakugan are on the Whirlpool Gate Card, they are both defeated simultaneously, which counts as two Gate Cards." Astrid explained to the bully.
The score was now; Astrid: 2, Stór: 0.
"Intriguing, she managed to use a Gate Card that is like a double edge sword to her advantage." Toothless said intrigued.
"That's Astrid style of play for you, she likes to make calculated and well thought-out attacks on her opponent's even when she doesn't know who they are. It's one of the many reasons I picked HER to take leadership of the Dragon Brawlers back then." Hiccup explained to the Furynoid.
"Your words seems to be true, Hiccup. But I can almost sense the negative energy that drives some of these Bakugan." Toothless said to himself as the other 5 Dragon Brawlers heard him.
"Negative... Energy?" Tuffnut asked, confused and a bit concerned like the other Dragon Brawlers.
"What do you mean by that, Toothless?" Hiccup asked his Darkus Furynoid. But the Bakugan didn't responded which made the gang a bit more worried.
"Grrr... I can still win this! It's not over till the jumbo-sized lady sings!" Stór declares as he grabs his 3rd and final Ventus Bakugan.
"BAKUGAN BRAWL!" Stór shouted as he tossed his final Ventus Bakugan onto the field, it landed on the same Gate Card that Aquos Boxer was on.
"VENTUS FALCRON STAND!" Stór shouted as his Bakugan revealed it's true form.
Rising up from Astrid's 1st Gate Card was a large Green and Light Green humanoid Falcon-like Bakugan unlike his twin cousin Falconeer, but instead of having 5 fingers like his Osprey-headed cousin, this Bakugan had 2 fingers and 1 thumb on both of his two hands and his head resembled that of a Peregrine Falcon.
"SKRAAA!" Ventus Falcron screeched as he took to the sky.
Baku-Cores covered the field once more.
Stór quickly noticed a mild-glowing Baku-Core as he rushed towards the Core and tossed it at his Ventus Falcron.
"Ability Activate: STORM WINGS!" Stór shouted as the Baku-Core spun around the Peregrine falcon-like Bakugan.
Stór's Falcron wings were suddenly surrounded by black clouds as they glowed green. Falcron then flew high up into the air before proceeding to dive-bomb towards Astrid's Boxer.
"That's a good move, but not good enough." Astrid said as she raised her hand. "Character Card Open: BOXER!"
Astrid's Gate Card then glowed blue as it now showed a picture of a Haos Boxer in a massive Boxing Ring with his fist in the air.
Aquos Boxer started to glow a bright blue as he reared his boxing glove-like fist back.
And right as Falcron was in punching distance of Boxer, Boxer gave a POWERFUL punch to the Ventus Bakugan. A massive cloud of dust covered the field from the punch as Falcron glowed green and turned back into ball form, instantly sealing Astrid's victory.
The score is now; Astrid: 3, Stór: 0. The winner is Astrid.
The field around them closed as Astrid caught her Bakugan's in her hand as time started back up again.
"That was an easy cake walk." Astrid said with a grin on her face.
"Y-You gotta be kidding me! HOW DO I KEEP LOSING?!" Stór yelled as he collected his Bakugan's off of the ground.
"Aw man, look at what's happened to ya." Helia said with a shake of his head. "I tried to warn you, but nooooooo! Mr. Big Shot here doesn't want to listen to me and now look at you."
"CAN IT, HELIA!" Stór yelled at his younger brother. "How do I keep losing, tell me!" He shouted looking at the Dragon Brawlers.
"Stór you have excellent battle strategies, I can give you that but the problem isn't us, the problem is that you can't properly execute those battle strategies on your own." Hiccup explained.
Stór was silent, he always thought that the attributes he chose were the problem, but this dweeb might be right.
"Psh, Like I need help from some loser." Stór said as he walked towards the Dragon Brawlers, specifically Hiccup, with his hands in his pocket. "But, uh... thanks anyways for the tip." He thanks Hiccup but quietly so only he can hear him as he passed by.
"Hey, bro! Wait up!" Helia said trying to catch up to his big brother.
And as soon the two bullies were gone from the area , probably back home, Hiccup smiled towards the two bullies before they fully left, before turning back to the others.
"Way to show him what you're made of, Astrid." Hiccup complimented Astrid. "That was an impressive brawl."
Astrid mildly blushed at Hiccup's compliment of her as she smiled at him.
"Thanks Hiccup. I didn't beat the original Rank: 1 Brawler for nothing." Astrid said as she tossed her Aquos Siege up and down.
"I bet Toothless liked that battle, huh bud?" Hiccup looked towards his Darkus Partner Bakugan.
"I am mildly amused by it, but we should not let our pride blind us so soon, there's still this Masque being." Toothless reminded the Dragon Brawlers.
"Ugh, always with the bad news and menacing foreshadowing, can't you lighten up for once? I mean come on." Snotlout said.
Toothless didn't respond to Snotlout's response as he just looked at the egomaniac.
"Oh, don't you dare give me the silent treatment, ya dumb lizard, I'm not falling for it, you can-"
Snotlout's voice was cut off by a sudden quick breeze coming from the entrance into the area, despite there being no chance of wind today. A freezing chill went up all of their spines at once, almost as much as Hiccup's deadly glare.
The 6 Dragon Brawlers turned around and saw someone standing underneath a doorway in the Raven's Point Avenue Bridge.
"I'm looking for a Hiccup Haddock." a voice said, sounding like a male.
Suddenly, someone walks out of the doorway and towards the 6/7 Dragon Brawlers.
"Is that Masque?" Fishlegs quietly asked.
"That's the guy, that's him." Snotlout said glaring at the man.
Masque then fully walked out as the 6 Dragon Brawlers all stood defensively in case this guy tries to steal their Bakugan, or more in Snotlout's case.
"So you've obviously heard of me." Masque simply said with a cold and menacing tone in his voice.
"Yeah, Snotlout said you stole 3 of his Pyrus Bakugan's." Hiccup said with his hand ready to protect Toothless and his 2 other Darkus Bakugans.
"I want my Bakugan's back you poor excuse for a Batman rip-off!" Snotlout shouted in anger. "Or else I will turn you into my science class skeleton."
Masque was simply unaffected by Snotlout's poor attempt of a threat of turning him into a skeleton for kids to study, but he did lightly chuckle.
"Heh..." Masque slightly chuckled. "Never heard of that one before." He coldly said. "How about I do you one better... you poorly insult me again and I will turn you into a headless snake, painfully." He really did mean it.
"Eep!" Snotlout squeaked as he hid behind the Twins in fear.
"Coooool!" The Twins awed Masque literal threatening of Snotlout.
"Don't "Coooool" him!" Snotlout whined in fear at the Twins.
"Alright now calm down." Hiccup said calming down before Snotlout does something his cousin would really regret. "You know our agreement, right?"
"Yes, If you win you get all the Bakugan's I stole back. And if I win, you lose all of your Bakugan's. Is that right?" Masque asked smirking at the end as he gave a menacing glare.
Hiccup took his glasses off and put them in a case behind his back pocket. He then glared at Masque with a menacing glare.
The two were unaffected by each other's menacing glare, but the 5 Dragon Brawlers felt two chills up their spines when they saw the two Brawlers menacing glares.
Hiccup pulled out his Transporter Card as Masque also pulled out his Transporter Card.
"Wish me luck guy's, I might need it." Hiccup said, feeling like he might lose this battle.
"We will, win all those stolen Bakugan's back for everyone." Astrid wished Hiccup her luck.
"Go Hiccup! Go Hiccup! Go Go!" The Twins cheered Hiccup.
"Make him pay, Useless." Snotlout said as Hiccup knew that was Snotlout's way of cheering him.
"Don't get your Bakugan's stolen, I still want to learn more about Toothless and the Furynoids." Fishlegs said.
"How about you, bud?" Hiccup asked Toothless.
"We will have to be cautious of this Masque being, remember what I said, Bakugan is more than a game, you make the wrong move and the consequences will be high." Toothless reminded Hiccup. Hiccup kept that in mind.
Hiccup and Masque activated their Transporter Cards at once.
"Bakugan Field Open!"
Hiccup's and Masque's Transporter Cards both glowed purple as time started to slow down before stopping completely as the field started to open.
"Gate Card Set!" Hiccup and Masque both yelled as they jumped high up into the air and tossed one of their Gate Cards onto the field as the Cards grew in size.
However, Masque wasn't done yet. Hiccup watched as the masked Brawler reaches his hand down to the ground and picks up a strange Baku-Core, this one was black and radiated negative energy, what was also weird was that this Baku-Core had a beastly skull.
"Set." Masque simply said as he frisbee tossed the Baku-Core onto the field as the Baku-Core pierced the field before it sank into the field, completely being absorbed into the ground.
Toothless sensed a familiar presence from that strange Baku-Core, like it reminded him of someplace, but he didn't know it quite yet.
Hiccup kept glaring at both Masque and that weird Baku-Core, Baku-Cores only appear when Bakugan's are battling each other. What's weirder is that Hiccup felt like that energy from that strange Baku-Core felt like the same thing from yesterday, where he felt like his Bakugan's gotten weaker but Toothless felt stronger.
'What was that he just threw down? And why does it feel like what happened yesterday when I first met Toothless?' Hiccup asked himself in his mind.
"Hiccup, be careful I sense that Baku-Cores, as you who-mans call them, is more deadlier than we may think." Toothless warned his partner.
"Thanks, bud." Hiccup thanked Toothless. Hiccup grabbed his first Darkus Bakugan from his Baku-Clip. "BAKUGAN BRAWL!" He shouted as he tossed his 1st Bakugan onto his own Gate Card.
"DARKUS SERPENOID STAND!" Hiccup shouted as his Bakugan revealed it's true form.
Rising from his Gate Card, a large black snake-like Bakugan with purple accents and 2 frills slithered out before looking down at Masque with a menacing glare from his red eyes.
"HISSSSS!" Darkus Serpenoid hissed as he entered the field.
"Darkus Serpenoid enters the battle at 3-2-0 B's." Masque's Baku-Pod inform him with a menacing male voice.
"Heh." Masque chuckled as he gave a small grin as he then took out a Darkus Bakugan of his own as he placed it on a strange black device with purple and light green highlights strapped to his wrist.
"BAKUGAN BRAWL!" Masque shouted as he aimed his arm forwards and the Bakugan within the device was launched out of the device and landed on the same Gate Card as Serpenoid was on.
"SKRILL STAND!" Masque shouted as his Bakugan revealed it's true form.
Black menacing storm clouds surrounded the field as purple lightning races across the sky and field.
Flying out of the menacing storm clouds and covered in purple lightning, was a black with purple accented wyvern-like Bakugan, along his spine is a single row of spikes starting from behind the neck and ending on his tail. His head posses a crown of spikes on his head which are nearly the same length. He has 3 short spines on his chin. A single small curved horn adorns the front of its face and his menacing red eyes are very close to his nose and curved horn.
"ROOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRR!" Darkus Skrill gave a mighty roar as he landed onto the field with a terrifying glare.
"Darkus Skrill stands with 3-7-0 B's." Hiccup's Baku-Pod informs him as there was only a 50 B's difference.
Baku-Cores started to cover the field as the Battle of the Darkus had begun.
"Character Card Open: SERPENOID!" Hiccup shouted as he needed to boost Seprenoid's power.
Purple lightning started to race across Darkus Serpenoid's snake-like body.
"Darkus Serpenoid's B-Power has increased by 1-5-0 B's." The Baku-Pods informs the two Darkus Brawlers as Serpenoid's B-Power increased to 470 B's.
"Serpenoid try to quickly take his Skrill down now!" Hiccup said as his Serpenoid quickly went to take the Darkus Wyvern-Like Bakugan out.
But Masque wasn't intimidated or affected by this in the slightest bit. He actually just smirked as he calmly picked up an empty Baku-Core right next to him.
"Dimension Four." Masque said as the empty Baku-Core suddenly glowed a menacing purple color. He then threw it towards and at Hiccup's Gate Card as shadow's suddenly covered his Gate Card.
"B-Power reduction detected. Gate Card nullified." Hiccup looked at his Baku-Pod and gasped as he saw his Gate Card now nullified as his Serpenoid's B-Power returned to its normal 320 B-Power.
"Grrrrrr..." Darkus Skrill growled as he quickly flew upwards into the menacing storm clouds as purple lightning started to build up within the clouds.
Suddenly, a streak purple lightning struck Darkus Skrill, but the Darkus Wyvern didn't seem affected by the lightning as he quickly dived towards Hiccup's Serpenoid. He then released a bolt of lightning from his mouth at Darkus Serpenoid.
"HIISSSSSS!" Serpenoid hissed in pain...

But instead of glowing purple and turning back into his ball form.
A portal opened up above Hiccup's defeated Darkus Serpenoid as it pulled the Bakugan in, the snake-like Bakugan tried to escape but he couldn't as he was forcefully pulled in.
"HIISSSSSSS!" Darkus Serpenoid hissed in fear and horror as he was pulled into the portal.
"S-Serpenoid! NO!" Hiccup shouted as he tried to reach out to at least try and help his Darkus Serpenoid.
The portal fully closed as Hiccup's Darkus Serpenoid was now gone, just like the other Bakugan's that were taken from Brawlers.
The score was now; Hiccup: 0, Masque: 1.
Hiccup just fell to his knees as he just saw his own Bakugan get sucked into a portal to somewhere else.
"What incredible power." Toothless said amazed and shocked by Darkus Skrill's strength, he looked at his partner with a determined aura surrounding him. "Hiccup, I need you to focus, we can still win this brawl." Toothless got Hiccup's attention as he looked at the Furynoid.
"S-S-Serpenoid, I-I failed to save him." Hiccup muttered to himself, feeling like he failed Darkus Serpenoid.
"Ugh, I didn't want to really do this, but you leave me no choice." Toothless said as he flew at least 5 Baku-Cores away from Hiccup before he launched himself at Hiccup's face causing the original Dragon Brawler leader recollect himself.
"OW! Toothless what was that for?!" Hiccup shouted at the Dragon Bakugan.
"You were muttering to yourself, and I need you to get your brain back in order." Toothless explained.
"Right, now not only do I need to get everyone else's Bakugan back, but also Serpenoid as well." Hiccup said getting back up to his feet as he glared at Masque, who just stood there.
"Are you done mopping now?" Masque said with no care or remorse for Hiccup's lost of his Darkus Serpenoid as he grabbed both his Skrill and Hiccup's Gate Card.
"If you think I'll let you keep getting away with this, you're wrong." Hiccup exclaimed as he pulled out another Darkus Bakugan.
"BAKUGAN BRAWL!" Hiccup shouted as he tossed his 2nd Bakugan onto Masque's Gate Card.
"DARKUS ROBOTALLION STAND!" Hiccup shouted as his 2nd Darkus Bakugan revealed it's true form.
Rising up from Masque's Gate Card, a gigantic humanoid-like Black robot with purple accents. His armor looked like what a football player would wear, including his helmet.
"RAAAAH!" Darkus Robotallion shouted as he stood up.
"Darkus Robotallion stands at 3-1-0 B's." Masque's Baku-Pod informs him.
Masque just smirked as he grabbed a Darkus Bakugan from his Baku-Clip and placed it into the launcher.
"BAKUGAN BRAWL!" Masque shouted as he activated the launcher and launched his Bakugan onto his first Gate Card.
"SKRILL STAND!" Masque shouted as Skrill arrived back onto the field once again.
"ROOOAAAAAAARRRRRR!" Darkus Skrill roared once more.
Baku-Cores covered the field once again some glowing, some were not.
Hiccup quickly noticed a Baku-Core which glowed a strong mild glow on his left and somewhat near the Bakugan's.
He quickly ran towards the Baku-Core, picked it up from the floor and tossed it towards his Robotallion as it went into the Bakugan's chest and powered up the robot Bakugan with Dark Energy.
"ABILITY ACTIVATE: ROBOTALLION ENFORCEMENT!" Hiccup shouted as Darkus Robotallion glowed and was surrounded by both a purple aura and purple lightning.
"Darkus Robotallion's B-Power has increased by 5-0 B's. Darkus Robotallion now stands at 3-6-0 B's." Masque's Baku-Pod informs him.
'Just one more Baku-Core and I can take his Darkus Skrill down.' Hiccup thought to himself as he mentally smiled.
But Hiccup noticed Masque's expression, he was smirking. Then Masque lowered his hand to the floor and picked up an empty Baku-Core, once again now filled as Masque rose back up from the floor and tossed the Baku-Core at his Darkus Skrill.
The Baku-Core flew around Darkus Skrill as the wyvern chomped down on the Core and absorbed it's Dark Energy.
"Double Dimensions: Activate!" Masque shouted as the Aura and Lightning surrounding Hiccup's Darkus Robotallion disappeared. Hiccup's Robotallion's ability was negated.
"N-No way. He cancelled Robotallion's ability!" Hiccup said, shocked a bit.
Similar with Hiccup's Serpenoid, Darkus Skrill flew high up into the air and a streak purple lightning struck Darkus Skrill, but the Darkus Wyvern didn't seem affected by the lightning as he quickly dived towards Hiccup's Robotallion. He then released a bolt of lightning from his mouth at Darkus Robotallion.
"GAAAAHHHH!" Darkus Robotallion cried out in pain.
And just like Hiccup's Serpenoid, Darkus Robotallion didn't turn back into his ball form as a portal opened up above the defeated Darkus Bakugan and pulled him in and closed once Robotallion entered.
"R-ROBOTALLION!" Hiccup shouted as he lost his 2nd Bakugan and ally.
The score is now; Hiccup: 0, Masque: 2.
"T-This is unfair! YOU'RE CHEATING! GIVE BACK ME AND EVERYONE'S BAKUGAN'S BACK THIS INSTANCE!" Hiccup shouted at Masque, enraged that this guy stole his friends and other people Bakugan's they had formed a connection with.
"Sorry, but no can do." Masque told the son of Stoick as he caught Skrill, after the Bakugan returned to ball form, and his Gate Card.
"What do you mean?" Hiccup questioned the Masked Brawler.
"What I mean is, that once the Doom Core is played, you could say that the battle is already over." Masque answered Hiccup's question.
"Doom Core?" Hiccup asked, What's a Doom Core, he nor anyone has heard of a Doom Core before.
"Doom Core, why does that name sound familiar?" Toothless asked as the Doom Core sounded familiar to him, specifically the "Doom" part.
"Yes, Hiccup, The Doom Core." Masque confirmed with a small smirk on his face. "Once you throw that Core onto the field, it overpowers ALL cards. And as and added bonus, it also sends the defeated Bakugan to another Dimension for all eternity."
"You have to be kidding me?!" Hiccup said shocked by the power of one strange Baku-Core.
When Masque said the word "Dimension", Toothless instantly recognized why the Doom Core sounded so familiar to him.
"You mean The Doom Dimension?!" Toothless questioned the Masked Brawler with anger and disbelief.
"Doom Dimension?" Hiccup asked.
"It's a place where a Bakugan can never survive or return from The Doom Dimension. It's where all Bakugan's meet there demise, in other terms, it's the Bakugan equivalent of what you hoo-mens call the afterlife. It's a place all Bakugan fear of going to." Toothless explained to Hiccup.
"Well, now we know HOW he's stealing other people's Bakugan. But I also want to know is WHY he's doing this?" Hiccup said and questioned Masque looking at him. "Why are you stealing other people's Bakugan? Is this all just a game to you?"
"Heh heh heh..." Masque chuckled a bit in response. "Oh, Hiccup, who ever said I was playing... every battle is real. But I guess your partner, Toothless was it, told you that." He said.
Hiccup then remembered Toothless words to when they were about to send the message to Masque back at the park.
"Bakugan is more than "just a game", and there can and will be dire consequences if you aren't careful with your choices." Past Toothless voice rang out in Hiccup's mind.
"We have to win this, Toothless..." Hiccup said as he now knows what his Partner meant.
Not getting a response from the Darkus Furynoid, Hiccup looked at his shoulder to see Toothless's eyes are glowing a fierce green color, he has an enraged purple aura around him, and he was growling with rage.
Hiccup pulled out his 2nd Gate Card from his Gate Card Holder.
"GATE CARD SET!" Hiccup shouted as he tossed his 2nd Gate Card onto the field, this time Masque didn't throw his 2nd Gate Card as well guess he wants to taunt the Original Dragon Brawlers Leader.
Toothless folded himself up into ball form just as Hiccup grabbed him from his shoulder with his left hand.
"This is our last chance, Toothless. We HAVE to win this." Hiccup said to Toothless as he held him in his hands. "If not, all of the Bakugan's will be in danger. So I need you to tell me, are you ready?"
After 20 seconds of silence, Toothless spoke.
"I'll be with you always, Partner." Toothless said as Hiccup could sense that the Furynoid was smiling at him.
"Good! Now let's take him down! BAKUGAN BRAWL!" Hiccup launched Toothless with all of his might, which would probably be the equivalent of Thor's Mighty Hammer at his Gate Card.
"TOOTHLESS STAND!" Hiccup screamed as Toothless opened up and revealed his true form.
"ROOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRR!" Toothless let out a mighty ear-piercing roar as he entered the battlefield.
Masque launched his Darkus Skrill into battle as the two dragons instantly fought against each other. Baku-Cores littered the field as the two Bakugan fought against each other.
Toothless avoided a lightning blast from the Lightning Rod Wyvern as Toothless quickly closed the gap with his speed and bite down on Darkus Skrill's left side of where Skrill's wing limb and neck meet. Skrill then pushed Toothless off of him and charged at him.
Toothless avoided the charging attack as the two Dragons kept battling each other, both avoiding or dodging attacks.
"Why are you and this Masque who-man doing this? Don't you realize the consequences of what will happen when every Bakugan is sent to the Doom Dimension?" Toothless questioned Skrill as he dodged a blast of lightning. "Do you know what is happening in Vestroia at this very moment?"
"That doesn't concern me at all, you freak of nature." Skrill responded with a menacing and utterly terrifyingly deep voice.
"It does to me and those that call it home." Toothless glared seeing that Skrill has no ounce of caring for what happens to Vestroia or the Doom Dimension.
Skrill then struck Toothless down onto the Gate Card as the Furynoid tried to escape.
"Enough of this. Time to send you to the Doom Dimension, Toothless." Skrill sneered at his nickname. "Guess no one will figure out what you actually are, Human or Bakugan." Skrill chuckled a bit as he never seen or heard of a Furynoid at all.
Darkus Skrill then charged up a lightning blast to point-blank destroy Toothless and end this once and for all.
"COME ON, TOOTHLESS! FIGHT BACK!" Hiccup cheered his partner to win this.
"Say Goodbye, Toothless!" Skrill said as he was about to fire his lightning at Toothless.
"Heheheheh..." Toothless chuckled lowly, which Skrill heard.
"What so funny?" Skrill asked with his lightning blast ready to fire.
"You know the great thing about hitting rock bottom, you only have to go one way. And that's up. Now, Hiccup!" Toothless shouted to Hiccup.
"GATE CARD OPEN: STORM OF DARKNESS!" Hiccup shouted as the Gate Card beneath Skrill and Toothless glowed purple as Toothless was powered up with immense Darkus Energy.
"ROOOOAAAAAAAARRRRR!" Toothless roared as he quickly charged up an attack.
Hiccup then rushed towards a powerful glowing Baku-Core to his left and tossed it at Toothless who bite it down absorbing more Darkus Energy.
"ABILITY ACTIVATE: PLASMA BLAST!" Hiccup shouted as both Hiccup and Toothless shouted the name of the attack.
Toothless then fired a point-blank attack at Skrill as large amounts of intense purple lightning and clouds of dust engulfed the field when-
Time started back up once again in the real world.
Large amounts of dust covered the area making it slightly hard to breath and see as their clothes picked up dust.
"*cough* *cough* Hiccup! Toothless! *cough* *cough*" Astrid called out, coughing.
"Who *cough* *cough* won?" Fishlegs coughed.
"Must have been a brutal brawl if it caused this much *cough* *cough* dust to form." Snotlout guessed coughing as well.
"You may *cough* *cough* be right." The Twins agrees coughing.
"There I see him!" Astrid said seeing the familiar shape of Hiccup.
Once the dust cleared they saw Hiccup around, like he was trying to find something.
"Toothless? TOOTHLESS?! Where are you, speak to me!" Hiccup called out wanting to make sure Toothless is okay.
"Hiccup, I'm right by your foot." Toothless called out.
Hiccup looked at his feet and saw Toothless in his ball form as he gave a sigh of relief and gently picked the Bakugan up.
"Thank the Norse Gods, your safe." Hiccup gave a sigh of relief. "But, what happened, how are you-"
"I spared him for you." A voice coldly said as everyone looked at Masque, with his Skrill in opened ball form which it's head and tail flipped down and the wings flipped open to the side and the legs folded out, as he stood in front of Hiccup.
"B-But why did you?" Hiccup asked, confused.
"He's stronger than he looks, I'm intrigued to see what happens if I let you keep him, for now." Masque responded as the 6 Dragon Brawlers were confused by his unnatural behavior. "It's been a blast, Hiccup. See you soon, you'll be sure of that." Masque said as he walked away from the 6 Brawlers.
"W-Wait! What about my Bakugan?!" Snotlout asked angered.
"Heh, you and your pals better stop treating Bakugan like a simple game where you can play whenever you want to, and start treating it like a life or death situation. Because you're going to need it. Bakugan has more power and dimensions involved that it could lead to the destruction of two worlds." Masque warned them, with seriousness in his voice.
"Impossible." Fishlegs denied Masque's warning.
"Y-You're just messing with us." Astrid said as the 4 other Dragon Brawlers agreed.
"No, he really isn't." Hiccup said, as the 5 Dragon Brawlers looked at him. Hiccup could sense that Masque wasn't messing with them.
"He's right, I'm dead serious." Masque calmly responded before turning his head to look at the 6 Dragon Brawlers.
"And the only way to stop this... is to defeat me. Good luck with that." And with that, The Masked Brawler left, chuckling menacingly as Skrill quietly talked to him.
"Master, I have never seen any Bakugan's like him before, here or his power, it's unlike anything I have ever seen." Skrill told his Master quietly. "I've never even heard of a Furynoid before."
"Never, huh? Well then, that just makes things MORE interesting." Masque said as he smiled. "But, unfortunately, he didn't posses what I am looking for. But I'll remember this day, Hiccup and Toothless." He creepily said as he left.
"This is so unfair?!" Snotlout groaned as he couldn't get his own Pyrus Bakugans back from that freak.
"What happened during that Brawl, Hiccup?" Fishlegs asked.
"I think it would be better if ALL of the Dragon Brawlers hear this." Hiccup said. "But we have to be more cautious if he shows up again. He's a lot stronger than he looks."
The 6 Dragon Brawlers for the first time, felt more on edge than ever before.
And this, was just the beginning...
And done, I hope you all liked this Chapter of Bakugan Dragon Brawlers, in the next episode Hiccup and Toothless get into bit of a argument that will really test their friendship and it seems Masque is recruiting Brawlers to do his dirty work.
