Hey guys and gals, it's CMBasher7 here with a new chapter for Bakugan Dragon Brawlers.
I hope you enjoy this chapter just like my other fanfics just as much.
And remember, I don't own Bakugan or Httyd or anything else unless it's of my own design or making, these belong to their respective creators and designers.
As some of you may now know, I have also created a deviantart account by the name of CMBasher7, and I have uploaded 3 drawings made by myself and I'll upload more Bakugan after each chapter.
So now with that out of the way, BAKUGAN BRAWL!
Haddock Household, Berk...
The sun's is rising as it's light touch on the planet Earth as every morning creature has now started to wake up. At the Haddock Household, Hiccup and Toothless are fast asleep. Hiccup was in his bed as Toothless is laying on a mildly warm Heating Rock that Hiccup built by himself next to the window.
While Toothless was peacefully asleep on his heat rock, Hiccup couldn't get his mind off of his battle against Masque and the loss of his Darkus Serpenoid and Darkus Robotallion.
"And only way to stop this... is to defeat me. Good luck with that." Hiccup's mind replayed Masque words over and over again like a nightmare on loop.
"*BZZZ*", "*BZZZ*" Hiccup's alarm clock rang out as it struck morning waking both Hiccup and Toothless up for today.
"*Long Yawn* Morning, Hiccup." Toothless yawned as he awoke before he went into ball form and rolled off his heat rock.
"Morning, Toothless." Hiccup tiredly said as he rubbed his eyes.
Toothless noticed Hiccup's tired and exhausted expression and tone of voice sounded stressed, he could instantly tell something was up with his partner.
"Are you alright?" Toothless asked a tad bit worried for Hiccup.
"What? No, no. I'm fine, just didn't get a good sleep, that's all." Hiccup reassured Toothless's worries.
"Just let me get ready for school." Hiccup said getting out of bed as he remade his bed and grabbed his clothes as he went into his personal bathroom.
After taking a shower and drying off, Hiccup grabbed Toothless from his desk in his room and grabbed his Toothbrush and started brushing his teeth.
After brushing his teeth, he cleaned his toothbrush off with water and started to clean Toothless, who was now in ball form, as Hiccup carefully and expertly cleaned the Darkus Furynoid of any dirt and dust with a small towel.
After cleaning Toothless off, Hiccup grabbed his regular clothing that he brought with him into the bathroom and put them on, as he left his bathroom he grabbed his fake glasses and their case, and he put the fake glasses on and put the case away in his back pocket as he put Toothless on his shoulder so no one notices him.
Hiccup walked downstairs as he made himself some eggs for breakfast, Stoick walked into the kitchen yawing as he rubbed his eyes.
No matter how many times he sees him, Toothless is always confused and shocked that this giant of a man is his partner's father, they don't look like each other at all from what he heard. The only thing he can guess that this "Stow-ick" person and Hiccup have in common are their green eyes and stubborn, boar-headed personality.
"*Yawn* Morning Hiccup. How was your night?" Stoick asked trying to start a conversation.
But Hiccup didn't respond to his dad as he was deep in thought about him and Masque's battle Tuesday, he was so deep in thought he didn't notice that the eggs he was cooking was starting to make smoke, despite his dad trying to get his sons' attention...

That is, until the eggs created a fire.
"WHOA!" Hiccup shouted as he both jumped back from the fire as well as felt the heat of the eggs being on fire.
Stoick grabbed a fire extinguisher that was in the kitchen, which he bought just for in case his son starts a fire which happens more than one would like.
After the fire was extinguish, Stoick looked to his son, who was weakly smiling in embarrassement.
"Eh heh heh heh..." Hiccup weakly chuckled as he blushed in embarrassment. "Whoops..."

Meanwhile, during a brawl somewhere else...
Unknown to almost everyone else, time had slowed down as Bakugan Battle was underway, the battle was between two opposing elements; Aquos and Pyrus, water vs. fire.
The Pyrus Brawler has already sent out his Pyrus Skorporos, a red and orange scorpion-like Bakugan with a drill stinger and 6 legs.
The turquoise-haired, red shirt Pyrus Brawlers Skorporos is surrounded by 2 immense circular walls of fire, one in front and one behind the scorpion Bakugan.
On the opposite side, is another male figure. This boy has tan skin and an orange haircut that resembles "The professional" haircut (1), a turquoise sleeveless jacket that is worn over a sea foam green T-shirt as well as blackish grey shorts with yellow tennis shoes. This is the Aquos Brawler, Rick Brash (2).
In front of him, battling against his opponent's Skorporos is a giant blue turtle-like Bakugan that almost looks like an Alligator Snapping Turtle. This is an Aquos Juggernoid.
The score was; Rick: 2, and the Pyrus Brawler: 1.
Rick rushes over towards a blue glowing Baku-Core as he picks it up and throws it at his Aquos Juggernoid. Which circled around the turtle-like Bakugan as he (Juggernoid) bite down on the Core.
"Alright, Juggernoid! Depth Tornado!" Rick shouted to his Bakugan with a French accent.
"GRAAAAHHH!" Juggernoid roars as it retracted into it's shell.
And as soon as Rick's Aquos Juggernoid retracted into it's shell a mighty wave of water appeared underneath and lifted the turtle-like Bakugan onto the waves, Juggernoid then started to spin above the waves as it then created a gigantic whirlpool.
The gigantic whirlpool doused the 2 walls of fire as it grabbed Pyrus Skorporos and pulled him in towards Aquos Juggernoid.
Pyrus Skorporos was being pulled closer and closer to Aquos Juggernoid as the Scorpion reached the center and tried to escape this watery vortex.
Juggernoid then extended it's limbs and then body slammed onto Skorporos from above once the Pyrus Bakugan was at the center.
"Aaaahhh!" The Pyrus Brawler screamed as he watched his Pyrus Skorporos be defeated.
The score now was; Rick: 3, Pyrus Brawler: 1. Rick wins this match.
Time started back up as a baseball flew through the air as a Baseball player caught the ball as he and his team were playing baseball.
"Here Catch!" The kid who caught the baseball said tossing the baseball to another player. As the crowd and teams cheered.
Joggers that were frozen in time started to slowly return to normal speed once time seamlessly started back up.
Rick grabbed his Aquos Juggernoid as it flew towards him.
"Hmph." Rick huffed as he caught his Aquos Bakugan. "Heh Heh. Better luck next time, kid."
"Next time?! I don't think so, you got my Bakugan." The Pyrus Brawler said unhappy that he lost.
"Yeah, tough break. You win some, you lose some, right?" Rick tauntingly asked, not looking at the Pyrus Brawler he had beaten as he looked at his blue Baku-Pod. "As for me, I always win."
"Holo Sector Points add up to 1-5-0 HSP's." Rick's Baku-Pod said in a synthesized female voice.
Holo Sector Points, or HSP for short, were a special type of Cards that were made before the Dragon Brawlers made the rules for Bakugan. The way to get them was by winning a number of points for capturing specific Gate Cards in addition to their respective Attributes bonus points totaled the amount of HSP's a player won.
While some Brawlers think getting HSP's were a waste of time, Rick saw it as a secret challenge for him to beat as he believed there is a secret prize for doing so. And getting 150 HSP's isn't much for him.
"What 150! That's it?! What a major ripoff!" Rick exclaimed in anger.
"What a sore winner, am I right." The Pyrus Brawler said, not believing that Rick is being a sore loser for something that seems to have no meaning and is overly complex.
"I agree, I mean seriously, what a Drama King." A kid with orange glasses said in disbelief that someone is so determined to get worthless and confusing HSP.
"You beat all three of us, Rick. What more do you want?" A purple shirt yellow eyes kid asked.
"Bah!" Rick grunted as he left and went walking on his own to get rid of his anger.
In the Forest...
After about 10 minutes or so, Rick was now walking through the woods. He started to talk to himself out of boredom.
'This town is a waste of my time. There's NOBODY that can beat me.' Rick grumbled in his head as he was angered by the outcomes of his brawls against the 3 kids.
"You'd think you were going to play against someone as good as me, that you'd at least have a decent Bakugan lineup to battle with." Rick talked to himself being very prideful and annoyed of himself and the weak Brawlers of Berk, they're we're more stronger Brawlers back in London.
His parents had brought their son with them due to wanting him to get out more and also that they had a business trip here at Berk.
"It's so lame, what's a guy gotta do to find some REAL competition?" Rick asked himself in anger.
So Rick started to yell out to anyone in the woods to see if they want to battle against him.
"HEY! ANYONE OUT THERE THAT WANT TO DO BATTLE WITH ME?!" Rick shouted to anyone in the woods.
A menacing gust of wind blew through the trees and their leaves as a voice answers Rick's question.
"So, you're looking for a REAL challenge?" A menacing and cold-hearted male voice answered Rick's question.
Rick froze from ; 1. Hearing the male voice being cold-hearted and menacing, 2. Not expecting someone to answer him, and 3. The chilling breeze that was giving him goosebumps.
"Huh? Who said that?" Rick asked a little frightened.
Suddenly, An Aquos Bakugan with some cyan accents was thrown at him from out of nowhere.
"Hmm?" Rick hummed as he heard something fly across the leaves of the forest as he turned around and quickly spotted a Bakugan he right towards him as he quickly caught the Aquos Bakugan.
Rick looked at the Bakugan in his hand and was thinking to himself who threw this Bakugan and who answered his question.
"Wait, I've seen this Bakugan on the Web. It's a semi-rare Bakugan." Rick said knowing the Aquos Bakugan in his hand from the web.
He then looked up and saw someone leaning against a tree branch...

It was Masque.
Masque had his arms crossed over one another. He was also smiling as he looked at Rick.
"You want him? He's got all the power you'll ever need." Masque told Rick why he gave this Bakugan to him.
Rick looked at the Aquos Bakugan in his hand with a curious interest by this strange masked man deal.
"Really?" Rick asked curiously, suddenly a blue Baku-Launcher was tossed towards him as he caught it on the front was a beastly skull that looked like the Doom Core symbol.
"What would I gain by lying to you. Try him out and see for yourself, I know you're going to like him." Masque said as the wind started to pick up carrying some leaves.
When Rick looked back up, he saw that Masque was already gone, somehow, no sound of him jumping off the tree, no branches snapping off, nothing.
"Hey, Where'd you go? Come back!" Rick wanted answers. "WHO ARE YOU?!"
Meanwhile with Hiccup and Toothless...
Hiccup was seen jogging around the Park as today was Teacher's Institute Day at Berk High. He and Toothless thought it would be best if they both trained to be stronger both physically and mentally for today.
Hiccup was doing pull-ups on this park's pull-up bar.
Toothless couldn't do anything in his true ball form so he decided to act like Hiccup's Coach to train him to defend both the Bakugan's and putting an end to Masque's plan.
"Come on." Hiccup strained himself as he pulled himself up.
'You got this Hiccup, keep going!' Hiccup said in his mind.
Hiccup was now doing push-ups as he was straining himself more as he kept thinking about his brawl against Masque and the lost of his Bakugan's again.
Hiccup did some side steps, but he still couldn't get his mind off of Tuesday battle against Masque.
Hiccup then practiced his throwing by throwing a small marble that he brought as well as a small bag of them. He was targeting the smallest tallest branch on the tallest tree.
After only 3 tries, he hit the smallest branch which was near the top and was as small as a pinkie in diameter.
"That was a good throw, but your mind is focused on something else, I can tell that from your eyes and form alone." Toothless said as he could tell that Hiccup wasn't focusing on training.
"Can you be nice for once, I mean truly nice, I know you joined me to help stop Masque, but we won't be able to communicate as one and if you keep that up." Hiccup explained why Toothless should be a bit more nicer
Yes, While Toothless did agree to help Hiccup and the Dragon Brawlers to stop Masque, it seemed that Toothless had only joined to find answers to his own questions and nothing else, which won't get him far if he doesn't communicate with Hiccup.
And the same could be said for Hiccup in the Darkus Furynoid's mind.
"You have to be ready to defeat Masque, and as we both know, he is a difficult and dangerous opponent to face against unprepared." Toothless said, emphasizing on "both".
"I know, but still, even if I need to have concentration on my training, I also need you to have communication with me, Okay, Toothless?" Hiccup asked Toothless, if he understood what he said.
But Toothless just saw this as Hiccup being as stubborn as an angry Maxotaur in a endless maze with no exit.
"Ugh, Are all hue-man's are as stubborn as your "caw-zin" you beings call, "Snotlout"?" Toothless groaned annoyed by his partner. "If so, I would think it would be better if you left this battle to me. I know you want to defeat your opponent, but their is more at stake then you realize." Toothless warned Hiccup.
"First of all, We mostly are, get use to it here. Second, I know what is at stake, I saw both Serpenoid and Robotallion disappear to some other place that you said is the equivalent of the afterlife." Hiccup said. "And I know I have to win this, we humans don't give up so easily at times." Hiccup explained.
"Obviously." Toothless said as Snotlout was a terrible good example of that.
"But when it comes to Bakugan, I am the most powerful Brawler there is." Hiccup said.
"Then why did you quite being the leader of the Dragon Brawlers?" Toothless asked with a tilt to his left of his true ball form as if to raise his right metaphorical eyebrow. He was also told by the big man named Gobber that the one who defeats the Dragon Brawlers Leader becomes the new leader, which is strange that this "who-man" would quite his title as Leader while, in his own words just seconds ago, said that he is the most powerful Bakugan Brawler there is.
"I quite being the leader because it's none of your business." Hiccup said taking offense to Toothless's question. "And also, I will defeat Masque, that guy thinks he's the champ when he's nothing but a cheat." Hiccup grumbled in anger.
"You are nearly blinded by your anger and something else from what I can tell in your eyes, Hiccup." Toothless said.
"I am NOT!" Hiccup yelled at Toothless.
"Listen to yourself, Hiccup!" Toothless shouted in anger.
Having enough, Hiccup decided to end this conversation now.
"OKAY! That does it!" Hiccup shouted as he walked towards Toothless and picked him up by his tail.
"PUT ME DOWN THIS INSTANT!" Toothless shouted from Hiccup's hand as he tried to get his tail free.
"Not until you promise me to stop insulting me." Hiccup said as his anger and stress was building up within him.
"Fine, I promise to lessen my "insults" as you call them." Toothless said promising Hiccup, to which Hiccup nodded his head and let go of Toothless who floated after his tail was let go of.
"Good, now then, let's head back home, it's about to get dark out." Hiccup said as he picked Toothless up and headed back home.
Back at the Haddock's Household, near Midnight...
It was nearing midnight as Hiccup walked back home, grumbling in anger along the way back.
Once Hiccup got home, he went to his room and turned on the computer as he went to chat with the other Dragon Brawlers.
"So you're training yourself to be better at brawls, huh, Hiccup?" Heather asked.
"Yeah, but Toothless kinda kept getting on my nerves." Hiccup sadly said to his team.
"Well, maybe he's just worried for you as you are for him and your Bakugan's?" Ruffnut guesses.
"I agree with my sister, sometimes friends fight and argue with each other and that will soon lead to one another saying something they really didn't mean." Tuffnut said.
"Either way, communication doesn't happen instantly between two beings, it starts slow and brings with listening and understanding each other and their problems." Fishlegs said.
"Yeah, Maybe you're right." Hiccup solemnly agreed.
"You two shouldn't fight, sure friends usually fight but you'll have to come to a standing point at some point in which the two of you will need and rely on one another for support." Astrid tried to cheer Hiccup up.
"Yeah, I guess." Hiccup sadly said again with a soft smile as he scrubbed Toothless with his toothbrush. "That's kinda half the reason I'm cleaning Toothless right now. He has a bit of dirt on him."
Toothless was in pure bliss as Hiccup cleaned his back with the toothbrush. It was so comfortable that it was sending him into pure satisfied bliss.
"Yeeaaah, right there. *cat-like purring*." Toothless cutely purred like a cat as Hiccup stopped as everyone looked at Toothless.
Toothless noticed he wasn't getting cleaned as he opened up into true ball form as he was wondering why Hiccup stopped.
Noticing the stares he was getting, he looked at Hiccup and the Dragon Brawlers, confused...

"...what?" Toothless asked confused as to why the scratching stopped.
"Toothless, d-did you just purr like a CAT?" Hiccup asked in shock.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Toothless asked utterly confused.
His confusion was answered as Hiccup used the Toothbrush and cleaned underneath the Darkus Furynoid's chin as the Darkus Bakugan fell onto his side and started cutely purring like a cat in bliss again as one of his back legs moved back and forth in what could be considered him kicking his leg.
"Oh My GODS! You did! You purred like a cat, and it was adorable!" Hiccup yelled as His dad wasn't home before laughing as did the others.
"T-That is the most cutest thing I've ever heard in my life!" Heather laughed at Toothless's adorable purring.
"A-Anyways, I looked all over the web and it appears you truly are the only one with a talking Furynoid." Fishlegs said with a slight chuckle.
"The only thing I want right now is a talking Bakugan of my own, then I'll face off against that Masque punk and find out who that creep is hiding behind that mask!" Snotlout shouted.
"Speaking of which, have you guys and ladies heard any news about him?" Hiccup asked with determination and formality.
"No, nothing. After your battle with him on Tuesday, no one has seen or heard from him again." Heather said to Hiccup.
"Figures, your crazy original Dragon Brawler skills back then must have scared him off into hiding." Ruffnut cackled with her twin brother.
"That is highly suspicious, he must be planning something big. And also, he did beat me so it doesn't make sense to go into hiding." Hiccup theorized and corrected Ruffnut.
"Yeah, sure, and we're trolls that steal your socks, but only the left ones." Tuffnut said cackling as well with his twin sister.
"Well, technically speaking, we aren't sure if you or he won, there was such a large amount of dust Tuesday that the Baku-Pod's couldn't analyze who won. So it actually WAS a draw." Fishlegs said trying to stop an oncoming fight.
"Thanks for the help, Legs." Hiccup thanked his best friend.
"You're welcome. Anyways, from what I've observed with the cores used in the battle, they had no affect in the total Holo Sector Points from either players." Fishlegs said as everyone groaned, see not many people like or understand HSP's at all even those with higher intellect. (An: This is true even for me.)
Hiccup thinks back to his battle with Masque again as he mentally hears the sound of Toothless roaring in his mind.
"If I may speculate, perhaps Toothless used an attack that is more powerful than any of the abilities of a normal Dragon Class Bakugan." Fishlegs speculated. "Then the overwhelming power emanating from Toothless probably made the entire battlefield unstable and caused the arena to vanish back to normal." He speculated. "And with no battlefield, the battle was and can be officially called a Draw."
When Fishlegs told them that, even the Twins and Snotlout got it, and were shocked that a SINGLE Bakugan made a Battlefield unstable.
"Toothless... self-destructed the arena... all by himself." Hiccup said impressed and shocked by his partner's power.
"D-Did I miss somethin' 'ere?" Gobber said having just arrived to hear Hiccup said that his Bakugan Partner self-destructed a battlefield by himself.
"B-But that's IMPOSSIBLE to use an attack more stronger than a Baku-Core!" Astrid exclaimed in shock that what Toothless did should be impossible.
"I can't believe Toothless has more power than the Baku-Core Abilities I have and know about." Hiccup said in shocked as he looked at Toothless.
"Maybe we should leave you alone for a while, and give you some time to talk about. Don't worry, While your busy talking to your Crazy Darkus Furynoid, I'll go settle the score with Masque." Snotlout said and everyone in the team and Gobber knew that when Snotlout says we, he really means me.
Angered and on Defense, Hiccup actually SHOUTED at his cousin.
"HEY! You better step off , Snotlout, I'm warning you! I'm the one fighting Masque!" Hiccup shouted, but his voice sounded full of stress.
Hiccup shouting at Snotlout made the egomaniac shut up, which was a first for everyone, except Gobber at times.
"O-Okay, Yeesh, ever since you're battle against Masque you're acting a bit different." Snotlout said as he noticed his cousin change of attitude, sure he may not like Useless, but that doesn't mean he won't slightly help him.
"Is everythin' alright, 'iccup?" Gobber asked worried for Hiccup.
"Okay, let's calm down, our battle is with Masque TOGETHER, we are stronger as one and not by each other." Heather said trying to diffuse the situation.
Hiccup sighed. "She's right, we NEED to work together as one and not fight against each other." He said. "Night, Guys."
"Night." The Dragon Brawlers and Gobber all said goodnight as they turned off their cameras and computers for tonight.
Later that night, Hiccup placed Toothless onto his special heating rock next to the window as he and the Furynoid went to bed.
But Hiccup had trouble sleeping like last time as he twist and turned with fear.
"No, no! I won't let you take them, Masque!" Hiccup mumbled in his sleep. "I won't let you take Serpenoid or Robotallion."
Toothless was silently awake as he watched Hiccup mumble to himself. He was "slightly" worried for him as Hiccup cheered the Furynoid in his sleep.
"Get him, Toothless! Bakugan Brawl!" Hiccup mumbled in his sleep again, cheering for Toothless.
Toothless opened up into True Ball form as he looked out into the night sky on his heat rock next to the window.
"This hue-man may prove to be more useful then I let on for now, but still, I don't know what's happening in Vestroia, all I do know is that it isn't good. And Time is slowly running out for us all." Toothless said wanting to help save Vestroia from whatever was happening to it that brought him here.
The Next day, Morning...
"*Yaaawn*, I'm so tired." Hiccup yawned as he made himself some cereal and ate it as he then went to his room to create today's line-up and pack for school.
"I better hurry, I don't want to be late. Let's see..." Hiccup said as he packed his things for school.
He passed by Toothless ready to walk out and head to school so he wouldn't be late. But Toothless stopped him before he left.
"Hey, Is something troubling you?" Toothless asked with concern for his Brawler. "You had trouble sleeping last night, was it about your battle against Masque the other day?Are you troubled by it?"
Hiccup put his backpack over his shoulders as he headed out the door not wanting to continue, but that only confirmed Toothless's suspicions.
"You're not bringing me along?" Toothless asked curious.
"I don't want to be late for School, Toothless." Hiccup said not looking at the Furynoid.
"Hiccup..." Toothless started before being interrupted by the Son of Stoick.
"I heard you the first time Toothless." Hiccup said as he turned around to look at the Darkus Bakugan.
Toothless then opened up into true ball form as he got off of his heating rock.
"I was thinking, it would be better for the BOTH of us, if, as you said last night, work together... as a team." Toothless said thinking about yesterday. Hiccup stopped when Toothless said team.
So, Hiccup slowly turned around and walked towards Toothless with a soft smile.
"You really mean that, Bud?" Hiccup asked wanting to make sure that the Dragon-like Bakugan wasn't messing with him.
Toothless nodded his head telling him that he wasn't messing with him.
Hiccup gently picked Toothless up into his hand and brought the Bakugan up near his face.
"Let's try and do our best then, Toothless." Hiccup said with a smile as He headed out with 2 other Darkus Bakugan.
After School...
After school, Hiccup and Toothless went around challenging new and old Brawlers of Berk that Hiccup has and hasn't faced before.
And by no ones' surprise, Stór was facing off against Hiccup again, but this time he is using Hiccup's advice he got Tuesday
In a battle against a Haos Mantonoid, Toothless managed to dodge the attack and flew high up into the air.
"Let's do this, Toothless!" Hiccup shouted with his fake glasses off as he tossed a Fierce Purple glowing Baku-Core at Toothless
"PLASMIC BEAM!" Toothless roared as he ate the Baku-Core and the dark energy was absorb into him.
Toothless let out a powerful blast of blue plasma at the Haos Mantonoid as the Mantis-like cousin Bakugan of Mantris glowed yellow and reverted back to ball form as it rolled back to Stór's feet.
Hiccup caught Toothless in his ball form after the battle and Stór's congratulates Hiccup on the duel.
Later that day...
After a longs day of battling, Hiccup was in his private Bathroom cleaning Toothless with a Toothbrush, causing the Furynoid to purr like a cat again.
"Puurrr, right there, that's the spot." Toothless purred as Hiccup scrubbed Toothless's wing with the Toothbrush.
Hiccup made himself and Toothless dinner as Hiccup's Father was pulling out another all nighter. Toothless had a cooked salmon, while Hiccup had some eggs, bacon, and orange juice, as well as a small salad.
Right now, Hiccup was chanting with his friends as he ate his dinner.
"Impressive, you we're able to reach a mutual understanding of one another in a single day." Heather said as on Hiccup's monitor was Fishlegs, The Twins, Snotlout, and Heather.
"Yeah, everything has been going better ever since we started actually working together." Hiccup told the Dragon Brawlers.
But deep within Hiccup's mind he was very unsure.
"But, I don't know what made him change his mind." Hiccup said with uncertainty. "It's really strange to me." He said scratching his chin.
"You do have a way with words at times." Heather agreed with a thought.
"It's kinda tru'." Gobber said agreeing.
"If I may speculate..." Fishlegs began to talk but he was interrupted by Astrid who's screen popped up and moved Fishlegs screen to the left.
"Guys, I got big news, very big news." Astrid said excited to tell the Dragon Brawlers.
"Astrid, you just interrupt Fishlegs." Heather said.
"Whoops, Sorry, Fishlegs." Astrid apologized to the Subterra Brawler.
"What's so important, Astrid? Tell us!" Ruffnut and Tuffnut pleaded to their new Dragon Brawler Leader at the same time.
"Well, allow me to introduce you to..." Astrid said as she raised her cupped hands.
In her cupped hands was a cyan colored Aquos Bakugan with yellow, black, and blue accents, the Bakugan opened up Tigererra style, but it's appearance didn't appeared to be that of a Tiger, but of a bird-like Wyvern. Two feet popped out from the sides which showed 4 sharp bird-like black claws at the front and nothing on the back. The wings didn't look like much on the outside except for 2 single black claw at the bottom and on the inside of the wings they could see some yellow. A tail flipped out from the back which showed what appeared to be spines in a jagged cyan and yellow alternating pattern. The Bakugan's underbelly and lower jaw, except at it's tail, is a tan peach color. It's head flipped upwards and revealed a somewhat bird-like head with 2 yellow eyes with 2 red markings underneath the eyes and had a bird-like beak with a single curved tan peach colored horn on top and a crown of tan peach colored spikes adorning the back of its head.
"My newest and first talking Bakugan, Stormfly." Astrid happily said showing off the Wyvern-like Bakugan.
"Whoa, no way!" The Gang gasped in awe. Snotlout mentally grumbled that his wish didn't come true. Gobber was intrigued by the sudden rise in Talking Bakugan.
"Fascinating, You appear to have a Nadder Bakugan." Hiccup said looking at the Nadder closer to see what Bakugan it is.
"And it appears to be an Aquos Type as well." Gobber added. "Very fittin' for the both of yeu." He said gesturing to Astrid and the Nadder.
"I'm so excited, she is the best thing to ever happen to me!" Astrid happily said.
"Ooh, I can't wait to talk to her and learn more about her and her species." Fishlegs said grabbing a notebook and pencil.
"Hey, let's all calm down, let's see what she has to say. And then we can ask how she met Astrid." Hiccup tried to calm the Brawlers down.
"I'll go first. Hello, I'm Henry Horrendous Haddock, But everyone calls me Hiccup." Hiccup greeted himself to Stormfly. He brought Toothless up to the camera to greet Stormfly. "And this is Toothless, he's what is known as a Darkus Furynoid."
"Hmph. Greetings." Toothless huffed not opening into true ball form.
"Greetings to you too, Sir Hiccup and Sir Toothless, It is very wonderful to meet you two, Lady Astrid has told me so much about you. But strangely I have never heard of a Furynoid before, I'm sorry." Stormfly introduced herself, her voice sounded feminine but almost warrior-like at the same time.
Astrid smiles happily as she gently rubbed her index finger across Stormfly's head down to her tail.
"She's incredible!" Astrid said happily as she pet Stormfly.
"So now on to the bigger question, how did you two meet?" Hiccup asked as Gobber and the Brawlers, Except Astrid, we're curious on how the two met.
"Well, it started at 11:46 AM today, after school..." Astrid began as she tells them how she and Stormfly met.
11:46 AM Today, After School...
"I was practicing my axe throwing skills outside after school, like I usually do." Present Day Astrid said as she tells her story of how she and Stormfly met.
"Hyah!" Flashback Astrid shouted as she threw her axe at a tree with a painted target on it, hitting it dead center of the bullseye.
Astrid walked towards the Axe to see if it really WAS dead center.
"Missed it by an inch, Dang it." Flashback Astrid cursed that she missed by an inch. She pulled her axe from the tree ready to try again, this time better than before.
"That's when I heard a voice talk to me." Present Day Astrid said.
"You're aim is most incredible, human." A female warrior-like voice complimented to Astrid.
"Huh? Who said that?" Flashback Astrid said getting into defense position with her axe overhead.
"Up here on this tree, Human." The voice said as Astrid looked up as she squinted her eyes and spotted the originator of the voice.
High up in the tree, was an almost golf ball-like sized cyan ball with some yellow and black accents. You could barely see it, but if you looked hard enough you could see it was there.
"A-A Bakugan?" Flashback Astrid said in shock.
"Can you please help me get down from here?" The Bakugan asked for her help.
"Sure, just hang in there, pun unintended by the way." Flashback Astrid said as she put the axe onto the ground and out of the way in case she falls.
Astrid started to climb the trees with quick athletic movement, such as leaping onto a branch and spinning herself on it to reach a higher branch, as she quickly reached the top of the tree in no time. She grabbed the Bakugan and started to climb back down.
Once they were both down onto safer grounds, the Bakugan opened up revealing her to be an Aquos Nadder Bakugan.
"Thank you very much, Human, I was up there for so long I don't even remember how I got up there." The Aquos Bakugan thanked Astrid for getting her down from the tree.
"You're welcome, my names Astrid, what's yours?" Flashback Astrid asked.
"My kind are called Nadders, but you may call me whatever you want." The Nadder introduced the species of her species of Bakugan.
"Hmm, You look more like a Stormfly to me. Is it okay if I call you Stormfly?" Flashback Astrid politely asked the Nadder.
"Stormfly? Yes, I like the sound of that name, you may call me Stormfly from now on, Lady Astrid." Flashback Stormfly said as Astrid smile.
"I can't WAIT to show you to the others!" Flashback Astrid said as she picked her axe up and quickly headed home.
Present Day...
"... And here we are now." Astrid finished her story of how she and Stormfly met.
"Heh, Looks like our little team of Dragon Brawlers is slowly starting to get stronger now." Hiccup said with new found hope in his voice.
"You know it Hiccup!" Astrid said smiling, unaware that Hiccup blushed a bit.
"I agree that we're starting to become a force to be reckon with." Fishlegs agreed with his friend.
"Yeah! And we all know what the first order of business will be, won't we!" Snotlout shouted with agreement.
"It's time someone took Masque and his tacky costume to the fashion police." Ruffnut said with agreement.
"Yeah, that someone is me!" Tuffnut dumbly said.
"Don't you mean us, Tuffnut?" Hiccup asked with a deadpan.
"Well it depends on who gets to Masque first." Tuffnut countered as Hiccup rolled his eyes at Tuffnut's logic.
'These who-mans seem to have a lack of confidence. I hope they can be truly trusted when the time comes when the fate of Vestroia is in their hands.' Toothless thought to himself as he looked at Hiccup and the Dragon Brawlers.
The Next day after school, at the Bridge...
Hiccup was on his way to look for a brawl as it was after school, and to no one's surprises the Twins blew up 1/3rd of the School once again, this time in the Library and by only opening a book no less. He was sprinting across a bridge over-looking a river with a good spirit coursing through him.
"Woohoo!" Hiccup cheered as Toothless was sitting on Hiccup's left shoulder.
"Your in a good mood today, Hiccup, Why's that?" Toothless chuckled a bit as he asked the human.
"Why shouldn't I be, Toothless?" Hiccup asked the Furynoid. "It's a beautiful day for a Brawl and I got you as my partner. AND to make things better, that freak Masque is going to get what's coming to him."
The winds started to blow faster than normal as Toothless senses something was wrong.
"Hold on Hiccup, I sense something's not right." Toothless told the son of Stoick.
"Huh?" Hiccup asked as he stopped and noticed a figure standing in front of him on the bridge, it was Rick Brash. "Who are you?"
"Are you Hiccup Haddock?" Rick questioned with a stern tone.
"Uh, Let's see, um, The only people on this bridge are you, me, and some drivers, so yeah... I'm Hiccup Haddock." Hiccup said with caution. "And I'll ask again, who are you?" He asked.
"Name's Rick, Rick Brash. And I've come here all the way from London to have a little battle against you, Hiccup." Rick introduced himself before pointing at Hiccup.
"Uh, sure, no problem, I was looking for someone to brawl today anyways." Hiccup agreed to battle against Rick.
"Please Hiccup, be careful. There's something I don't like about this." Toothless warned Hiccup.
"I'll try." Hiccup quietly reassured Toothless as he looks at Rick. "You better be ready, cause I won't go easy on you." Hiccup said taking off his fake glasses.
"Heh, you won't talk so tough until you see the Cores I got." Rick said raising a blue Baku-Launcher that looked like the one Masque had on, and it had a logo that looked like the Doom Core's symbol.
"A Baku-Launcher?" Hiccup questioned but when he and Toothless looked closer they both saw the Doom Core symbol on the Baku-Launcher.
"The Doom Core?!/ The Doom Core?!" Hiccup and Toothless gasped in shock.
Hiccup's mind flash-backed to when he and Masque duel and was reminded of his lose of both Serpenoid and Robotallion.
"Where did you get that thing?!" Hiccup demanded answers with a glare.
"Heh heh heh, I have my connections." Rick chuckled as he adjust his Baku-Launcher.
"Great, now Masque is hiring Brawlers to challenge me?" Hiccup said as he realized what this meant as Toothless realized it too.
"That's none of your business, believe me you now got bigger things to worry about." Rick said holding out his Transporter Card.
"I think it IS our business now." Hiccup said pulling out his Transporter Card as well.
"BAKUGAN FIELD OPEN!" Hiccup and Rick shouted as their Transporter Cards glowed Purple and Blue respectfully.
Time began slowed down as everything froze in place, like someone hit the pause button on time and space as water stop flowing and leaves froze in midair as the Attribute wheel spun clockwise underneath Hiccup and Rick as the area around them became the Bakugan Battlefield.
Bakugan Battlefield...
The Bakugan Battlefield appeared before the two opposing Brawlers, the battle between the two would soon be under way.
Rick picked up an empty Core from the ground as it glowed black and had a beastly skull on it as it radiated negative energy.
"Doom Core Set!" Rick shouted as he tossed the Doom Core into the field.
The Doom Core was sinking deep into the ground as ripples appeared from where the Doom Core was at.
"Let's do this, Toothless." Hiccup said to the Furynoid as he held a Character Gate Card made by himself with the help of Fishlegs, Gobber, and Toothless.
"GATE CARD SET!" Hiccup and Rick shouted as they both threw their Gate Cards onto the field as they grew in size and were set opposite of the original owner.
"GATE CARD SET!" Rick shouted as he tossed another Gate Card to his left side next to Hiccup's Gate Card.
"BAKUGAN BRAWL!" Rick shouted as he threw the Aquos Bakugan onto the field as it bounced off Hiccup's Gate Card and landed on his 1st Gate Card.
"AQUOS ROBOTALLION STAND UP AND BATTLE!" Rick shouted as his Bakugan opened up revealing his true form.
Towering over Hiccup like a Colossi, a gigantic humanoid-like Blue robot with Cyan accents appeared. His armor looked like what a football player would wear, including his helmet.
"RAAAH!" Aquos Robotallion shouted.
"A R-Robotallion." Hiccup muttered as he was once again reminded of his Darkus Robotallion.
"Hiccup, stay calm, let's see what his first move will be." Toothless said, but Hiccup couldn't focus as he just saw his own Robotallion where Aquos Robotallion was.
"GATE CARD SET!" Hiccup shouted as he tossed the Gate Card next to Rick's 1st Gate Card and behind his 2nd Gate Card, he was now not thinking straight like he always does.
"BAKUGAN BRAWL!" Hiccup shouted as he threw his 1st Darkus Bakugan onto the field as it landed on his 2nd Gate Card.
"DARKUS FALCONEER STAND!" Hiccup shouted as his Bakugan revealed his true form.
Soaring into the air above Hiccup's 2nd Gate Card, a Black with purple accent creature flew into the air, both of his toes had 3 claws: 2 in the front and 1 in the back. He had 5 fingers on both hands. His wings were of a similar design of an Osprey and his head was that of a Osprey.
"SKRAAA!" Darkus Falconeer screeched.
Aquos Robotallion looked up at Darkus Falconeer with a glare as he could not do anything at the moment.
"GATE CARD SET!" Rick pulled out his last Gate Card as he tossed it onto his right hand side of Hiccup's 1st Gate Card.
"BAKUGAN BRAWL!" Rick shouted as he threw his 2nd Bakugan onto the field as it rolled onto Rick's 3rd Gate Card.
"AQUOS JUGGERNOID STAND!" Rick shouted as his Bakugan revealed his true form.
Rising up from Rick's 3rd Gate Card was a Giant Blue Turtle-like Bakugan that appeared to be similar to that of an Alligator Snapping Turtle.
"GRAAAAHHH!" Aquos Juggernoid roared.
"What is he planning? Me and him already have a Bakugan each on the field, he could have gone for a battle against Darkus Falconeer or a Double Stand with his Robotallion." Hiccup wondered.
Toothless saw what this Rick was doing as he tries to warn Hiccup to be careful.
"Hiccup, he has 2 Aquos Bakugan on the field all lined up, I know what he is planning, choose your next move very carefully." Toothless quickly warned Hiccup.
"Okay, Let's try this one! Gate Card Set!" Hiccup shouted as he tossed his 3rd Gate Card in-front of Rick's 3rd Gate Card.
"BAKUGAN BRAWL!" Hiccup shouted as he threw his 2nd Darkus Bakugan onto the field, not thinking of why there is 2 Aquos Bakugan in the field.
"WAIT! NOT AT THAT GATE CARD!" Toothless shouted at Hiccup.
"WHAT?!" Hiccup looked at Toothless with worry.
But it was too late, Hiccup's 2nd Bakugan landed on his 3rd Gate Card in-front of Rick's 3rd Gate Card and Juggernoid.
Standing tall from Hiccup's 3rd Gate Card, a Black with Purple accents creature with the Body of a Lion, The Wings of a Bat, The Hind Legs of a Goat, and The Tail of a Serpent's Head appeared as he roared and stood proudly.
"ROOOAAAARRR!" Darkus Griffon roared.
Rick chuckled as he smirked and held up the 3rd Aquos Bakugan given to him by Masque.
"Now you're all mine." Rick said as he loaded his 3rd Bakugan into the Baku-Launcher.
"GO, AQUOS NULLKAVEE!" Rick shouted as he launched the Bakugan onto the field.
The Aquos Bakugan, now known as Nullkavee, landed on the Rick's 2nd Gate Card and opened up revealing its true form.
A massive pillar of water burst forth from Rick's 2nd Gate Card, and walking out, or more likely trotting out of the pillar of water. A gigantic blue horse-like creature with cyan and orange accents, trotted menacingly out of the pillar of water. The Horse Bakugan's face was a gigantic cyan Horse skull with orange eyes and sharp teeth. It's entire body is blue and it's front limbs are horse-like, except for what should be hooves is actually 3 razor sharp orange claws, it's back legs are horse-like with orange hooves. While it would seem almost like a normal horse, what was riding on it's back, or more accurately, what was FUSED to it's back told an entirely different story. A humanoid-like creature was on it's back. It's face was a giant cyan human skull with orange eyes. It's blue body wore no armor or clothing what so ever, and it's arms were VERY long except for the hands which were huge and the 3 digit fingers of both hands had long, sharp orange claws. It's lower half was nowhere to be seen as it looked like both the horse and the humanoid were just one creature with 2 extremely different bodies like a Nuckelavee.
"NRAAAAAGGGGHHHH!" Nullkavee neighed and shouted as it's Horse-half reared back on it's back horse-like legs and the humanoid-half swung it's arms wildly.
Hiccup looked at his Baku-Pod for information on Aquos Nullkavee.
"Greetings Hiccup, Opponent's Aquos Nullkavee has been identified. Classification: Fantasy/Mythical Class. B-Power is at 3-5-0 B's, a mighty opponent with deadly abilities." Hiccup's Baku-Pod informs him.
"And here's his special ability: GALLOPING TSUNAMI!" Rick shouted as he picked up a blue Baku-Core that was glowing fiercely and tossed it at Aquos Nullkavee, who's upper Human-half crushed it in his claw and absorb the water energy.
Suddenly, Nullkavee jumped far back and then started to gallop towards the 2 Aquos Bakugan and 2 Darkus Bakugan as a massive tsunami started to follow behind Aquos Nullkavee, when the human horse hybrid galloped between the 4 Bakugans the Tsunami crashed into the 2 Aquos Bakugans and 2 Darkus Bakugans as it swept all 4 Bakugans as a dark and menacing portal formed and had taken Juggernoid, Robotallion, Falconeer, and Griffon all at once, leaving Nullkavee and Toothless the remaining Bakugan left for both Brawlers, the portal to the Doom Dimension closed as the water evaporated as well. The Nullkavee trotted back to Rick's 2nd Gate Card.
Now it was a death match to see who would win and stay alive and who would be sent to the Doom Dimension.
"N-No way! He took his own Bakugan and mine into the Doom Dimension in 5 turns." Hiccup said with shock and disbelief.
"It was a chain reaction attack! He was the chain and you were the reaction that decided what would happen." Toothless said angered at the lost of more Bakugans.
"What I want to know is why did he do that? He sacrificed his own 2 Bakugan's as well as mine to the Doom Dimension for no reason." Hiccup questioned.
"This is why I told you to wait, Hiccup." Toothless said his voice getting angrier and angrier by the second.
"Huh?" Hiccup looked at Toothless with confusion.
"If you had been patient and listened to me and not have been so hasty, you SHOULD have known he was up to something when he had called for the 2 Aquos Bakugans on the field and chose not to attack on his 3rd turn. If you had kept your focus and had defeated the 1st Bakugan at the beginning of the battle, you WOULDN'T be in the mess you're in NOW!" Toothless argued at Hiccup with anger fresh in his voice.
"Hold on, wasn't it YOU who told me to wait and see what his first move was?!" Hiccup countered with anger.
"Your impatient recklessness and your stress has lead more Bakugan's into the Doom Dimension!" Toothless countered Hiccup's counter argument.
"This battle isn't over yet, Toothless." Hiccup told Toothless, confusing the Furynoid and not helping his anger.
"What do you mean?" Toothless asked still angered by Hiccup's recklessness.
"It's your turn to battle, and I think you know what I'm thinking about." Hiccup said with a wink at Toothless. "I want you to use Dragon Force." He whispers to Toothless about the plan.
"It's too risky and dangerous, even for me." Toothless warned Hiccup, but his partner wasn't listen to him.
"Come on, just do it. We'll just have to take the risk and hope we'll succeed." Hiccup ignored Toothless as he grabbed the Bakugan as the Furynoid closed into ball form.
"HICCUP! WAIT!" Toothless tried to stop Hiccup but he just wouldn't listen.
"COME ON TOOTHLESS, GO AND GET HIM!" Hiccup shouted as he tossed the Darkus Furynoid onto the battlefield.
Toothless bounced off of Hiccup's 2nd Gate Card and landed on Rick's 2nd Gate Card and opened up.
"This isn't a game anymore, Hiccup!" Toothless said as he transformed into his true form.
Quickly flying into the sky as lightning surrounded him for a moment, Toothless landed with a mighty THUD as his claws cracked the ground beneath him. His emerald green eyes filled with anger but not only at the Nullkavee, but at Hiccup. He spread his black wings out with intimidation as he barred his retractable teeth with fury.
"ROOOOAAAAARRRRRR!" Toothless roared with anger.
Hiccup quickly picked up a Baku-Core and tossed it to Toothless as he absorbed the dark energy.
"Ability Activate: DRAGON FORCE!" Hiccup shouted as Toothless body started to emit a magenta purple color as the Bakugan felt all the Draconic power from the Ability.
"Darkus Furynoid's B-Power has increased from 4-5-0 B's to 5-5-0 B's." Hiccup's and Rick's Baku-Pod's informs them.
"Great! We can win this battle and defeat that Aquos Nullkavee with no problem." Hiccup said not thinking of what may happen if he uses a force attack on an unopened Gate Card.
'What does Hiccup want from me? He's not even thinking straight, a force attack is not a good strategy. My opponent has probably already predicted what his next move will be.' Toothless thinks about how Hiccup is being blinded by anger right now.
'I have to quickly stop this to throw my opponent off and disrupt their plan.' Toothless thought to himself as he willed himself to stop the ability.
Toothless then willed all of the Draconic energy in him out as he was engulfed in rocks before he broke free, canceling the Ability.
"Incredible, He really CAN break free from the force of an Ability." Hiccup said with awe.
"NO WAY!" Rick shouted with shock that a Bakugan has self-halted a Baku-Core and ruined his strategy.
"Darkus Furynoid's Power has dropped down by 2-1-0 B's. Darkus Furynoid now stands at 3-4-0 B's." The Baku-Pod's informs the two Brawlers.
Toothless head-butted the Aquos Nullkavee as it landed on it's side and turned itself into water and moved itself behind the Furynoid. But Toothless sensed that the Aquos Bakugan was behind his so he tail-whipped Nullkavee as it turned into water once again.
Aquos Nullkavee then reformed in the air and tried to attack Toothless with it's upper human-half's long sharp claws.
"NRAAAGGHH!" The Nullkavee screamed/neighed.
But Toothless quickly stood on his hind legs and used his front limbs to grab the Nullkavee's claw. The Bakugan turned into water once again and reformed behind Toothless as it quickly attack with a back hand attack from behind.
The backside attack from Nullkavee nearly brought Toothless to all 4 feet as the Furynoid looks behind him at the Aquos Bakugan.
"Toothless! Dragon Force was a Double-edge sword! It would have increased any Dragon Class Bakugan's B-Power by 100 B's, but when it's either canceled or stopped the Bakugan loses 210 B's! If you hadn't canceled it, this battle would have been history! But now your B-Power is lower than his!" Hiccup shouted with anger in his voice as well as some stress.
Rick instantly figures out why Toothless canceled the Dragon Force Ability as he quickly and hastily ordered Nullkavee to end this battle right now before it's too late.
"Yes! End this! Do it now!" Rick hastily demanded Nullkavee.
Aquos Nullkavee galloped towards Toothless as it punched it's massive 3-digit hand at the Furynoid.
"Gaaaahhh!" Toothless roared as he struck the Gate Card.
Aquos Nullkavee quickly fell as well, but it aimed it's sharp orange claws of it's human-half at Toothless as the Aquos Nuckelavee-Like Bakugan stood over the Furynoid.
"Come on, End it now! There's not much time left! The Gate Card will open up soon!" Rick demanded Nullkavee to end this battle now.
But it was too late, the Gate Card opened up with a Rainbow glow as Nullkavee and Toothless energy started to swap with one another due to the Gate Card. So now Toothless had 350 B's and Nullkavee had 340 B's.
"Adjusting B-Power Levels; Darkus Furynoid's and Aquos Nullkavee's B-Powers have now swapped." Hiccup and Rick's Baku-Pod's inform them both.
"No way! It can't be!" Hiccup said with shock and worry.
Nullkavee brought it's sharp human-half claws at Toothless but the Furynoid, now having 10 more B-Power than the Aquos Bakugan caught it and then fired a powerful Plasmic Beam at Nullkavee point-blank.
Nullkavee tried to withstand the Plasmic Beam but it couldn't as it reverted back into Ball form and rolled back to Rick's feet.
"TOOTHLESS!" Hiccup shouted worried for his partner.
"ROOOOAAAAAARRRRR!" Toothless roared as arcs of purple lightning coursed out of his body as a powerful flash of light engulfed the Battlefield.
Hiccup instantly wins the match.
Back at the Bridge...
Time slowly started back up again as the leaves frozen in mid-air began to drift through the wind and the water started to flow beneath the bridge.
Rick sat on his knees in defeat as this was his FIRST ever lose.
"Your Aquos Nullkavee was the first to be defeated and Toothless won the battle due to you taking 2 of our Bakugan leaving both of us with 1 Bakugan each." Hiccup claimed victory.
"I-I don't believe it. I tried to set a second trap with my Power Exchange Gate Card, but your Freaky Bakugan somehow knew that it's B-Power's would switch with Aquos Nullkavee's, and that was how he was able to win the battle at the last moment." Rick explained what he was about to do if his opponent's Furynoid didn't cancel out that ability.
"B-But how?" Hiccup asked as he was confused on HOW Toothless did that.
"The Ability you had used, Dragon Force, would have given your Bakugan increased B-power, and had my plan work, That B-Power would have been transferred to the Aquos Nullkavee." Rick explained to Hiccup. "But your Bakugan had somehow released itself from the Ability and due to Dragon's Force ability, it caused it's B-Power to decrease."
'So that means, even though Toothless had low B-Power, he knew that once his and Nullkavee's B-Power swapped it would have given him enough strength to win the battle.' Hiccup thought about Toothless and Aquos Nullkavee's battle. 'Toothless waited until the very last minute to attack just as the Gate Card was about to open, which would have been risky as the battle could have ended with Toothless either ending the battle in a draw or he would have lost.'
"I just wanted to be the best Bakugan Player." Rick explained. "That Masque guy said all I had to do was beat you and I could keep that Aquos Nullkavee, but it's all over now." He said with disappointment.
"So Masque is taking advantage of you and any other Brawlers made you fight his battles for him." Hiccup theorized on what Masque is now planning. "I don't know if he's trying to prove how selfish he is or he's trying to scare me off, but me, Toothless, and the Dragon Brawlers will find out and take him down." He said with commitment.
But that's when he realized Toothless wasn't with him.
"Wait a minute, Toothless, where are you?!" Hiccup shouted looking for Toothless as he was a small distance away from him, and he was not happy at Hiccup.
Hiccup noticed Toothless as he ran towards him and picked him up as Rick left the bridge.
"Toothless!" Hiccup said relieved. "That Battle was close, but your quick thinking won us the match. I mean I thought that battle was close."
But Toothless wasn't wanting to speak to Hiccup not a single bit.
"T-Toothless? What's wrong?" Hiccup asked with worry in his voice.
"You THOUGHT that battle was close? Do you have ANY idea how dangerous that Dragon Force maneuver you tried to pull was?!" Toothless raised his voice with anger.
"W-What? Toothless, what's with you? We won and your safe." Hiccup said trying to remind Toothless that he's still here.
"Yeah, I'M safe, just me not the Juggernoid, or Falconeer, or Griffon, or Robotallion that were just sent to the Doom Dimension, no, no, It's just ME, that's safe." Toothless said with the emphasis on "I'm" and "Me".
"Hey, I know I wasn't thinking straight during that battle at the start, but I learned my lesson. Let's just celebrate this day for now." Hiccup said not knowing he just triggered some words at the Furynoid.
"YOU WANT TO CELEBRATE?! After EVERY thing that's happened and treat what happened before like a playful ACCIDENT?! WHAT ABOUT THE BAKUGAN'S THAT JUST LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE DOOM DIMENSION, HUH?! IS THAT A GOOD REASON TO CELEBRATE?!" Toothless screamed with rage.
"T-T-That's not what I mean at all, Toothless." Hiccup tries to correct himself.
"Then what do you mean then, HUH?!" Toothless shouted, making Hiccup angry.
"Hey, If I could go back in time to stop myself in that battle I would." Hiccup said getting angry.
"Ugh, You don't understand what is now at stake, Hiccup. They CAN'T come back, like I said before and what you repeated, the Doom Dimension is the hue-man equivalent of the afterlife. All Bakugan's are alive, but the ones that go to the Doom Dimension are truly gone. THEY CAN AND WILL NEVER RETURN!" Toothless explained to Hiccup once again. "That MAY not mean very much to you, but for them, it's hard and difficult to take in that stress, and your intent on beating this Masque has blinded you of your own reckless actions." Toothless said. "It's now easy to see you see Bakugan's as nothing more than a game you can put away and come back to later on in I thought and hoped that you would be different, guess I was placing my trust to the wrong hue-man." He said.
"N-No, that's not true. I-I can be trusted. W-We're a team, right? A-A family." Hiccup said before he thought back to him and Toothless's deal.
"What about our deal? I don't understand what's going on with you. I've been truthfully honest with you. Sure, there's still things I don't understand about the Bakugan's, but that's no reason to give up on me." Hiccup said. "We can do this! And if you want more to say in what goes on, then you got it. But you better make sure you're absolutely right." Hiccup said his anger now rising.
"Like how about your little trick on the battlefield before, if it hadn't worked, then where would you have been, huh?!" Hiccup questioned. "You would have been sent to The Doom Dimension, that's where."
After a short while, Toothless started to gently chuckle.
"What's so funny, huh?" Hiccup asked with confusion and anger.
"You... being truthfully honest? Heh, if that's true then why didn't you tell your friends that you intentionally lost against that Astrid girl, huh?" Toothless said as Hiccup looked at the Furynoid with wide eyes. "Yeah, I figured out. You gave up on PURPOSE, because YOU didn't want to face the stress of being a leader!"
Hiccup gritted his teeth as he clenched Toothless in his hand.
"Well, If you want to save the Bakugan's by yourself, then be my guest. Because our deal is done." Hiccup said as he reared his arm with Toothless in it, back.
"IT'S OVER!" Hiccup shouted as he threw Toothless over the bridge and into the river below.
The Darkus Furynoid landed in the water with a splash as Hiccup's and Toothless partnership was through.

"So long, Toothless. This is my goodbye, forever." Hiccup quietly said looking over the river as he headed back with his hair covering his eyes.
Wow, what an emotional turn of events! On the next Bakugan Dragon Brawlers,things are not the same anymore as Hiccup and Toothless are no longer partners. And while Toothless is swimming with the fishes, literally, Hiccup is having his hands full when he has to face off against a new minion Masque has hired to teach him a painful lesson.
But it isn't easy without one thing missing for Hiccup, and that's what you'll have to find out next time on, Bakugan Dragon Brawlers...
