'In Cubist artwork, objects are analyzed, broken up and reassembled in an abstracted form—instead of depicting objects from a single viewpoint, the artist depicts the subject from a multitude of viewpoints to represent the subject in a greater context.'
"Shibuya!"
Yuuri blinked, looking up from the plaque he'd been reading and gave Murata a half hearted glare. He was still angry with his friend, but he couldn't deny that he was actively trying to make it up to him. Murata's usual grin only flickered slightly before he pushed ahead.
"The last return boat leaves in an hour, and you still wanted to check out the gift shop, right?"
"Yeah." he replied, looking back up at the painting that had caught his attention. The strange, distorted portrait had reminded him of the painting Wolfram had made of him. The little plaque explaining the style didn't help him get it any better than he had before, but it was still fascinating to him that the styles apparently existed in both places. Maybe it was a great minds think alike kind of thing?
"Shibuya," Murata whined. "Are we going? It'll take three times as long to get home if we have to take the bus."
"Yeah, yeah." Yuuri sighed, turning away from the room full of artwork. "Let's go."
