"so I hear my little sister got a shave" says Cassandra as she walks in the door
"ugh I told her not to tell anyone, that they'd get the wrong idea" sighs Tori
"she's been growing that for about a year and she's complained about it being itchy, nobody in my family had the guts to shave it or teach her how to, you made her day Tori" says Cassandra
"I actually waxed it, I was very careful, Cat told her to keep an eye on how fast it grows so she can maintain it and hopefully keep the itching away" says Tori
"she smiled when she said you helped get rid of the itchy hair, so I hear you are on your full dose now" says Cassandra
"ya I had a rough second week, the first raise in dose, bad memories flooded my head and I'd finally told Andre to just sex it out of me, which worked but at the same time that first day Ellen and Hannah walked in, not being able to hear my moan through the door because apparently this house has the best sound isolation in the world and she saw me naked on my bed with Andre on top of me, that's how it happened, the next day Andre explained to them what happened and that we Never meant for them to see that which led to Hannah complimenting my wax job on my own kitten and Ellen mentioned the itchy area and knowing how embarrassing being itchy there can be I offered to help, Hannah got done too, she had a 'rug burn' rash if you know what I mean" says Tori
"the part about Hannah doesn't surprise me at all, Ellen follows rules generally pretty well when it benefits her so I know she'd have denied Hannah anything to do with that area of her body in an effort to make certain that she doesn't lose Hannah by crossing the line George set" says Cassandra
"I agree that she follows rules but maybe just a little too much, she's not like most kids" says Jade
"she's never been like most kids, she's more like Robbie than most people, our dad calls her the queen nerd and she takes it as a badge of honor, Ellen loves being ultra nerdy, hell she knows about bad weather headed to Sicily before anyone else, mainly because none of the storms are ever predicted to head our way directly, that big storm that hit Jade, she warned everyone two days before it hit, she borrowed dads phone and made the warning look official as if it was coming from him, dad was mad at the time but had to hand it to her, had she not done that there would have been much more damage to personal property than what happened and there was a ton of damage as it stood, even with her warning" says Cassandra
"how did that warning not get taken down, it was clear as day to anyone in the hospital that Daren didn't write it" asks Jade
"it almost was, the local Palermo weather guy saw the warning she put out and did another spaghetti model and his jaw dropped, he broke protocol and contacted Dad directly telling him not to take it down and that Ellen clearly knew what she was doing, he said that if she hadn't sent that early warning that nobody would have been prepared and the death toll would have been at minimum a thousand people" says Cassandra
"what was the death toll, I don't think we got an official number" asks Cat
"three hundred and fifty people, it got lumped in with mainland Italy's numbers which is why the number wasn't reported officially, lots of flooding but very few deaths, the Sicily government wants to commend Ellen but doesn't want to condone stealing of phones" says Cassandra
"Cass I need you to consider something" says Cat
"what's that" asks Cassandra
"what possible motivation would she have to steal her dads phone, she knew full well it would get her in very deep trouble with the government, especially since she has her own weather account" asks Cat
"what are you implying Cat" asks Cassandra
"what I'm trying to say is she took the risk because Daren's account has the full weight of the government behind it and is a million times more likely to be taken seriously, I'm saying she wasn't looking for validation or a medal, her only intention was to save as many lives as possible, because she sent that warning out under Daren's government account, other government's re-evaluated the risk for that storm and as a result put out the same warnings, the only reason you guys even knew it was her was because of her lack of understanding of how written grammar works causing there to be improper grammar used" says Cat
"she had to have known the risk she was taking" says Cassandra
"and yet she did it anyway, face it she's gifted when it comes to analyzing data" says Cat
"what should I do" asks Cassandra
"talk to her, despite saving so many lives and putting her own at risk for a video for her weather video account she feels immense guilt for taking her father's phone to do it" says Cat as Ellen and Hannah walks in with ice-cream
"oh hi Cass….. I got the ice-cream bowls you guys wanted…. I think I'm just gonna eat mine in my room" says Ellen leaving the ice-cream bowls on the counter and runs up to her room
"what's got her jumpy, I've never seen her like that" asks Cassandra
"that would be you, you haven't visited in awhile and she's been getting calls here for her address so other government's can send thank you letters for sending that first warning from Daren's account and you bring the weight of the government with you" says Cat
"oh, she probably doesn't want to hear what I have to say then" says Cassandra
"why" asks Cat
"the government is recognizing her brilliance, they set up a government account for her that's all about weather, she can share weather facts, weather jokes and most importantly weather related warnings" says Cassandra
"you better talk to her about that, she might no longer believe she has the right to warn people about extreme danger anymore, she received some mean comments on her last weather post last night, they laughed at her grammar, told her to kill herself if she couldn't form a coherent sentence in a post" says Cat as Cassandra bolts it to Ellen and Hannah's room
"please don't kill yourself Ellen" pleads Cassandra
"I'm not going to, why does that matter to you" says Ellen clearly hurting
"because the Sicilian government made an account called 'The Mediterranean weather beacon', its an official government account and it has the approval of all the Mediterranean countries Ellen and they want you to run it" says Cassandra
"but my grammar, people will make fun of me" says Ellen as Hannah cuddles her
"you can ask for help with that, it's not just for warning people, it's where you can post weather jokes and weather facts too" says Cassandra
"I don't know if I should do that, it should be someone qualified for the job not me" says Ellen
"Ellen let me tell you something, had you not put out that warning on dad's phone using his account millions of people could have died, only a hundred thousand died Ellen, the rest of the population of Western Europe just had storm damage, that's because of you, that's why the government's want to send thank you letters, you predicted something that not even the most educated weather person had predicted, they'd all predicted it would be a small storm and not even affect power" says Cassandra
"so I actually saved lives" asks Ellen
"many many lives Elle, possibly millions, how did you know it was going to be that big" says Cassandra
"I got raw data from people in Africa, plain civilians who took pictures and had enough money to get raw data equipment, data is one thing but the clouds almost looked pitch black, it had drowned out the street lights in the pictures I saw, no small storm can make that possible, tons of lightning too" says Ellen
"so when you say it drowned out the street lights you mean what" asks Cassandra
"the lightning, the sky was white with it half the time, that's when I knew things were going to be bad, that's why I sent out that warning, storms like that don't leave a life if it has the chance to take it Cass, I had to save as many people as I could, what's worse is more will come if we don't turn course on the climate, from the data I'm receiving a massive storm hit Mexico, killing a hundred thousand people in one night, the earth is mad at us and its making it known Cass" says Ellen
"some people say it isn't humanity's doing, that it is happening naturally" says Cassandra
"you don't actually believe that do you, we've almost extinted a hundred species just this year because of our pollution Cass, prior global warming trends didn't have humans, even then the cycle is meant to curb specie growth Cass, not kill off hundreds of species" says Ellen
"I don't believe it but many people do" says Cassandra as Ellen's laptop goes off
"yikes, high winds, extremely high winds, could cause damage" says Ellen checking her laptop
"is it warning worthy" asks Cassandra
"not for us but mainland Italy yes, maybe you should tell them, their Eastern side is going to be subject to extremely high winds" says Ellen as Cassandra hands Ellen the information to the account
"you do it, it's your job, you have the connections to get that kind of information, you know how to mention the Italian government's leader" says Cassandra
"I'm too scared to, the next one I will I promise" says Ellen
"ok fine" says Cassandra as she calls the Italian leader
"what is it Cassandra, did you give Ellen that account information" asks Mr. Bianchi
"yes but she's nervous about how people will respond to it, her written grammar issues prevent her from making a completely coherent message, I called to warn you that she got news of extremely high winds that will hit your eastern side" says Cassandra
"how long do I have to warn them" asks Mr. Bianchi
"maybe an hour, waves are going to be an issue too sir, my friend in Greece had lost power causing a delay in the message being sent" says Ellen
"thanks, also you should know soon assuming you accept the responsibility of that account you will receive access to weather sensors along the Mediterranean sea as well as the whole of Western Europe, in my eyes age is just a number Ellen, in the eyes of most of Europe you are wise way beyond your age and outperform the pro's in the field" says Mr. Bianchi
"I thank you for the trust you are putting in me, a simple child" says Ellen
"like I said Ellen you saved many lives that day, taking that risk is something not even most professionals like to do, especially because they often get proven wrong, nobody took that storm as a serious threat, the mind of a child is more flexible, as a result you saw problems where us adults just saw the need for money, you took that step, which is why we are giving you this opportunity Ellen, you have the opportunity to make a difference, you clearly notice things the professionals miss, you have the chance to teach us adults a lesson" says Mr. Bianchi
"it will be my data, my message but it won't be my hands writing the message on the account, also the thank you letters can go to Jadelyn West and she will get them to me, I'm not comfortable giving out my address, pervs you know" says Ellen
"and I respect that, I'll let the others know where to send the cards, as a government official I can speak for the others when I say you didn't have to warn anyone, you chose to and that deserves repayment" says Mr. Bianchi as he hangs up
"what did I just do" asks Ellen getting extremely nervous
"you agreed to show the adults a lesson and you're getting paid for it" says Cassandra
"how much" asks Ellen
"a hundred dollars a day, to send out weather facts, weather jokes and when needed weather warnings, and you will be backed by the government as the official weather account of the Mediterranean sea" says Cassandra
"that's a lot of responsibility for me to take on, you sure I can handle it" asks Ellen
"surely you can handle it better than Belle did when she met George, she went nuts, said there was no way her sister was a guy" says Cassandra
"sounds like Jade needs to take a flight and settle it" says Ellen
"you really think it would make a difference" asks Cassandra
"Jade is not always who she seems sis, she can be very understanding and has worked out many an argument with Cat peacefully" says Ellen
"I'll give it a shot then" says Cassandra
