"hey Ellie I heard you talked to Robbie a bit ago, what'd you talk about" asks Cat
"are you doing better big sis" asks Ellen

"so it's not a personality thing, Jenna says it is" asks Ellen
"ugh.. I was hoping nobody noticed that, head trauma does many things, I guess one of them is bringing out things I'm heavily medicated for, her name is Cathy and everyone but Jade terrifies her, unlike me where I can handle talking to people Cathy is terrified of it, Jade is the only one who knew about her and Cathy swore her existence to secrecy and made Jade promise to never tell, I guess I should count myself lucky both Cathy and I love Jade, it would be a disaster if she liked Tori, it would mess everything up" says Cat

"she was clearly terrified about what she'd done, Ellen never trembles and when she told me both times I could see she was shaking, I looked at the camera footage and I could see she had no idea what her hand was doing, as if there was no feeling in it at that exact moment, I spoke to Adriana and she said that it was not a good sign, that if she really was losing sensation even temporarily, that it could mean something much worse is lurking underneath, something playing on her nerves, like a cancer" says Sadie
"you really think she didn't know what her hand was doing" asks Cat as Sadie plays the video with the audio off
"right there, Ellen is talking about the mermaid movie then switches to a different sea movie and Ellen's hand moves Hannah's underwear to the side while Ellen just keeps talking, then Hannah kinda moan gasps and Ellen looks down at where her hand is pulls it out and her face turns white and then runs to me, five minutes later you can see Ellen returns with her straight jacket on" says Sadie as she stops the video
"she's traumatized Sadie, I could hear it in her voice, she needs answers, come with me to the hospital with Ellen, maybe mom has answers" says Cat
"ok but who will watch Hannah" asks Sadie
"she comes with, Ellen and Hannah are a pair now, where one goes the other goes" says Cat
2 hours later in the hospital
"this is concerning, she really had no idea what her hand was doing" says Remy
"Adriana said there could be damage causing nerves to go offline, like cancer" says Sadie
"there might be something to that, the French leader Arthur Métis had an altercation with Ellen when he visited when Daren was elected to congratulate him, Ellen touched his wife obviously unintentionally and he went nuts, told Daren to keep Ellen in a cage and tried to break Ellen's hand off saying 'personne ne touche ma femme comme ça', daren charged Arthur with assault and Ellen had moments of tingling in that hand ever since, loss of feeling, especially on two different occasions means we could officially charge Arthur with abuse causing bodily harm, which would remove him from power, especially since Ellen is a minor, has Hannah said anything about the situation" says Remy
"would that be the same French leader that put Adriana in a bind, the wording about putting someone in a cage is the exact same that Adriana told Tori about" asks Sadie
"it would be yes, he's not exactly on good terms with many European governments, England and Germany are literally looking for any reason to make him resign, repeat cases of abusive ableism just might do it, I'll let Daren know to send that along, in the mean time we should have a closer look at her wrists" says Remy as Ellen starts hyperventilating

"she has heightened hearing, for one she can hear electricity, the whole time we were talking she was hyper focused on tracing the sounds" says Remy
"oh like Cass does with vehicles" asks Cat
"yes but Cass and Ellen are on opposite sides of the hearing spectrum, Cass hears low noises like gas running down the tube to the engine, which is why she loves electric vehicles, she can't hear it, which heightens her ability to focus, which is also why she modified her personal plane to use solar as much as possible, the propeller engine is hybrid gas and electric, she uses gas to get up to height then she uses electricity to power the propeller directly, it saves on fuel but she hasn't gotten it perfect yet so if she's flying with someone she always uses gas the whole time, which is why she doesn't fly it much, if she got it working at peak efficiency then she wouldn't have to do press briefings from here, she'd be able to fly to Palermo and get there in less time than it takes to drive" says Remy
"why is she staying here exactly, her job is important and she should be there for it not make people come here" says Cat

"yes, only in so far that you disguise your voice in them, Cass and I agreed that if you do good with tests that you'd get one, Adriana said having something else to focus on generally helped her keep control for a time, however Dad and George are working out a framework to let you cuddle Hannah nakey if it helps you medically" says Cat
"I don't know if I'm ready for that, let's see what the doctor says first" says Ellen

"can Hannah be there, I don't want to do it alone" asks Ellen as the specialist walks in
"I'd love to have Hannah by my side while I do the scans, besides she's part of the reason you're here, a mistake you can't feel happening because of wrist issues is never good, my job is to find the problem and fix it, because you are have issues with machines because you can hear the electricity screaming at you I offer these ear plugs, they are designed to block out all sounds and frequencies, my son has the same problem as you and he grew up and invented these, he says they work to mute those sounds, also if there is damage it might require surgery, I felt I should warn you ahead of time" says Specialist Amy Reici
After the scans
"Ellen may I ask which arm the French leader hurt during that incident and if it's the same one you used to have tingling in" asks Amy
"yes it's the same and it's my right hand, though the reason I'm here is my brain made me touch Hannah where I'm not allowed to yet and I couldn't feel anything, I didn't know what my hand was doing till she gasped" says Ellen defensively
"the Midascresh disorder I know, there is nerve damage but that's not the worst of it, there is literally bone damage and not the kind done by being dragged by water in that big storm, the kind done by a strong man, your dad didn't do that did he" says Amy
"no he'd never, that wrist has hurt since the Frenchman pulled my hand, it actually popped, it was loud, it's always been painful since then, I don't like making a fuss so I didn't tell anyone, my dad had just gotten elected, I didn't want to make it about me" says Ellen
"so the Frenchman Arthur did that then, the damage I saw would have definitely caused a pop, on a scale of one to ten how bad does it hurt" asks Amy
"I don't know I'm used to it now, maybe an eight, I can barely hold my ice-cream cones with it.. it hurts so bad, does that help" says Ellen as Hannah hugs hef
"that actually does help a lot yes, we need to fix that wrist, you're going to definitely need surgery, Remy she's going to need pins and either a cast or a custom brace" says Amy
"how bad is the break" asks Remy
"it should have never been left this long, unfortunately as she said she doesn't Iike to make a fuss, I can see it fractured first which would have been the pop then tried to heal too many times, I can't guarantee that her wrist will ever be normal again, after the initial pop it cracked in more places the more it tried to heal, frankly I'm surprised she can use it at all, the final straw probably happened a few weeks ago when the latest fracture pinched a nerve, causing intermittent feeling in the hand in question" says Amy
"will the surgery fix the problem or just make my wrist better, I don't like being different, I don't like not knowing I'm breaking rules" says Ellen
"it will fix both problems though your wrist will be frozen in place by the titanium pins and I assume we're going brace, it could take up to two months for your wrist to properly heal Ellen, which means what you can do is limited, given how it will be locked you should expect more violations of the rules your dad set out, given your Midascresh condition your subconscious will see the opportunity as too good not to do" says Amy
"will I at least realize I'm doing that" asks Ellen
"yes, I will talk to George personally and explain all this to him, his ex is my cousin after all, what's sad is I was the one who loved George, my cousin only married him so I couldn't, she may be Hannah's 'mom' but had nothing to do with the process anyway so not legally, she hates trans people, the fact that he used to be a girl only makes him hotter in my eyes but I as always will be professional" says Amy
