Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha or Steven Universe. The story is not following the Steven Universe storyline so that some things may be different from the show but I would try to keep a good majority of it the same. Also, Steven and Connie are best friends nothing more.

Also, there are three options for the conflict:

1. Pearl does not like Kagome, the same as in Gem Meets Dog

2. Kagome purifies Jasper's corruption, and Jasper wants her for herself

3. We can do both

I would try and do all three, but I don't know how I could do that without starting two more stories. Where they all will start the same, and they will each begin to change as the story progresses.

Chapter Two: Moving In With Steven

While they were introducing each other Steven had asked Kagome why she didn't have as many bags as he thought she would.

"The rest of my clothes is with my stuff, and they're in a storage unit for now. I have enough clothes for a week on me right now." Kagome told him indicating her hotdog duffle bag.

Kagome smiled and listened to Steven as he told her all about Beach City and his dad and his friends as they walked to his house.

"My dad is one of the best dads ever; He's a fantastic rockstar an I sometimes help with his lyrics. Garnet is like the mom of the group. She makes sure we're all okay while still being our friend. If we need advice, she's the one to go to no matter what. Amethyst is the funny one. She likes to joke around and eat a lot. She can get serious, but she's mainly silly. Pearl is the serious one in the group, she's the one I go to if I have a problem. Connie is my best friend. I've known her since I was a little kid, she has been with me through some hard times in my life. She's the best, best friend I could ask for; I know that I could count on her. Peedee is my other best friend. I've known him longer than I have Connie. He's usually with his dad at his dad's restaurant. They own Beach Citywalk Fries. Sadie helps runs The Big Donut with Lars. She's awesome! I have a feeling you two are going to get along great. Lars is a pretty cool guy once you get to know him. He works with Sadie at The Big Donut. Lapis is learning Earth's customs. She's a great person and has a bond with water. Peridot is also learning, and she can make metal move! Buck is the mayor's son. He's one of the coolest guys in Beach city. Jenny is a cool girl who loves to go to concerts. Her dad's the owner of Fish Stew Pizza. Kiki is Jenny's twin; she's the good twin. She's usually jogging or helping out at the restaurant."

Kagome smiled. "It sounds like you have a bunch of amazing friends."

Steven smiled wide. "Thanks."

"Where are we headed?" Kagome asked him curiously.

"To the Big Donut before I show more around Beach city," Steven said with a smile as they both walked into the store.

After buying a couple of donuts. Along with Steven getting a little upset about Lars trying to flirt with Kagome but decided to let it go. They walked around some more before heading to Steven's house when they noticed it was getting dark.

"Whelp, this is where you'll sleep." Steven smiled as he showed her his room.

"Thank you again; I promise to make it up to you." Kagome smiled.

"Maybe some breakfast?" Steven said with a soft smile.

"I'll make you some authentic Japanese breakfast." Kagome smiled back and set her backpack next to the bed.

"I can't wait, goodnight!" Steven said before walking down the stairs, closing the curtain behind him, to his mom's old room.

"Goodnight!" Kagome called out.
