Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha or Steven Universe. The story is not following the Steven Universe storyline so that some things may be different from the show but I would try to keep a good majority of it the same. Also, Steven and Connie are best friends nothing more.

Chapter Four:
Steven walked to the crystal gems trying to stay calm and think of a way to tell them about Kagome and Jasper when he noticed they were heading his way so he sped up and met them before they could get any closer to the door. "Hey, guys! How'd it go? Did you get the monster? That was a stupid question because you always do. Are you guys hungry? I know you don't eat but we can go out and get some pizza, we can even meet Connie there. What do you guys think?" He asked trying and failing to appear calm.
"Steven is there you need to tell us?" Garnet asked him. "What do you mean? There's nothing to tell. Nothing at all." Steven said nervously while he looked back and forth between all three of them. Seeing the look on their faces, he knew they weren't buying it. "Well ... actually, there is one thing. Just promise me that you won't freak out."
~ With Kagome and Jasper ~
"I wonder what's taking Steven so long." Kagome wondered as she waited with Jasper. "Do you think we should go and see if anything's wrong?" She asked Jasper who merely shrugged. "I'm sure he doesn't need our help with whatever it is he's doing milady," Jasper said not wanting to go near Steven.
Kagome wanted to ask Jasper how she had become corrupted, but she didn't know if it would bring up bad memories or not, so she decided not to. "What kind of Gem are you?" Kagome asked Jasper curiously."I'm a quartz gem, how do you know there are different types of gems?" Jasper asked wondering if she had met other gems before.
"Rose told me. I should've guessed that you were a quartz gem because your build is similar to hers." Kagome told her. "You-you've met Rose Quartz?" Jasper asked her shocked. She watched as Kagome nodded. 'Does this mean that she knows about homeworld and their mission? Hopefully, this doesn't set me back.' She thought before she listened to Kagome tell her how she met Rose.
