Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha or Steven Universe. The story is not following the Steven Universe storyline so that some things may be different from the show, but I would try to keep a good majority of it the same. Also, Steven and Connie are best friends nothing more.

Chapter Five:
Steven watched Amethyst, Pearl, Bismuth, and Garnet as he waited for the reactions to what he just told them. Behind him, he could feel Kilala and Raiden guarding the door that leads to where Kagome and Jasper were even though he had told them there was no need to do that, the Crystal Gems wouldn't hurt Kagome.
"Let me get this straight you invited a stranger to stay with us until her house is finished being built, who knows when that will be! Her cats, who are not normal cats but are somethings called Nekomatas which I have never heard of, showed up this morning looking for her and are going to be staying too not to mention JASPER'S NO LONGER CORRUPTED AND SHE'S STAYING HERE TOO!?" Pearl screamed as she glared angrily at Steven causing him to winch and laugh nervously.
"Yeah but she seems nicer now so it won't be so bad," Steven said hoping it would make the situation a little better. "Steven, it was nice of you to offer her a place to stay, but you should have discussed this with us first," Garnet told him calmly.
"I know I should have discussed it with you guys but when we came here you guys were gone plus we were the reason her house isn't finished yet," Steven told them, "Regardless we need to meet them before we decide whether or not they can stay with us," Pearl told him crossing her arms over her chest.
Steven looked between Garnet and Pearl before he sighed and walked back towards Kagome and Jasper. "Sometimes it feels as if he's still a child," Pearl told Garnet with a disappointed sigh.
"That's cause you guys keep treating him like he's a kid!" Amethyst yelled angrily. Garnet sighed and shook her head when Amethyst and Pearl began to argue while Bismuth watched them amused.
~ With Jasper and Kagome ~
After Kagome told her story, she and Jasper quickly became bored as they waited for Steven to come back. Now Jasper sat crisscrossed on the floor while playing on Kagome's phone, she was currently looking through Kagome's Pinterest as she let Kagome play with her hair as they listened to Face My Fears- English Version by Hikaru Utada and Skrillex.
"Are you thinking of changing your hair and outfit?" Kagome asked looking over Jasper's shoulder. "I don't know yet, milady." She said before she blinked and bit back a chuckle when Kagome reached over her and restarted the song and put it on repeat when it ended.
"I'm sorry. I just really love this song!" Kagome grinned before she started dancing to the song while Jasper watched her with a small content smile before blinking surprised when Kagome grabbed her by the arm and pulled her up to dance with her.
While they danced neither of them noticed that Steven was watching them in awe.
~ Steven's Point Of View ~
'Watching Kagome and Jasper dance to me felt almost the same as watching Pearl and Garnet dance.' He thought before his eyes widened a little. 'Would they be able to fuse? Connie and I can, but Garnet said my mom and dad couldn't.' He thought as he continued to watch them dance. Part of him hoped they could fuse so that Jasper could experience what a healthy fusion felt like. But another part of him was scared of what Pearl would say when she saw them fused together.
His question was answered when the song ended, Kagome happily hugged Jasper with a loud giggle when Jasper returned the hug with a huge grin on her face. Not even a second later their bodies and fused together.
He honestly couldn't help his excited scream when he saw her, he now knew how Garnet felt when she first saw Stevonnie. He ignored the Crystal Gems run in ready to fight. "Steven are you okay?! Did she hurt you?!" He heard Pearl ask.
~ Regular Point Of View ~
"Oh, I'm fine. I just got excited that's all." Steven told her before he looked at her when he heard her gasp. "St-Steven who is that? Please tell me that this is Kagome and not Kagome and Jasper fused together." She asked looking up at him.
"Okay ... I won't tell you." Steven chuckled nervously before he looked at the now fused Kagome and Jasper. She was Jasper's height and had her long white hair, her skin tone was Kagome's. Her left eye was ice blue and her right eye was gold. She also had black furry ears on top of her head and a black fluffy tail. Her crop top was designed like Jasper's top, blue skinny jeans, and red high top converse.
"OOH! OOH! YOUR NAME COULD BE KASPER!" Amethyst yelled excitedly as she ran over to Kasper. "Kasper huh?" Kasper hummed as she looked over her form. "I like it!" She told her with a smirk.
