Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha or Steven Universe. The story is not following the Steven Universe storyline so that some things may be different from the show, but I would try to keep a good majority of it the same. Also, Steven and Connie are best friends, nothing more.

Chapter Seven:

Steven sat on one side of Kagome while Jasper sat on the other, the rest of the gems were spread out throughout Steven's room. "They still haven't left her side yet?" Pearl asked Garnet, slightly annoyed from their place in the kitchen. "It's almost been an entire two weeks, and Steven's hardly left her side. Only when he uses the bathroom, help find the other gems homes, and the day Connie and Peedee forced him out of the house." Amethyst stated, leaning against the wall next to them.

"Speaking of gems, I can't believe Kagome knew so many." Bismuth finally spoke up, she was a little sad that Snowflake and Biggs were going to be staying with Kagome, but she knew like Pearl, who now felt guilty about saying it, said there was no more room at the temple for others. Although Pearl suggested that they make rooms for both of them, which caused Steven to angrily yell at her and now he is currently not talking to her.

~ Flashback ~

After walking back in the room from showing Jasper where she could lay Kagome down, Steven watched the Crystal Gems had an emotional reunion with Biggs and Snowflake. Biggs has a mixture of brown-orange colors skin, white fluffy hair that covered her eyes, and came down to midback, and her gem was located on her chest. She was wearing a black tank top, black spandex shorts, and no shoes.

Snowflake has a spiky white mane that is shaped similarly to the patterns scattered over her form. She has only one eye, round in shape, and no nose, her gemstone is embedded in the back of her right hand. She was wearing a black breastplate with shoulder pads, a thong in the same color, and boots.

He smiled softly, happy that they were reunited with more of the original Crystal Gems. He wondered if there were more or if these two were the last ones. He turned to look down at Kagome when he heard Pearl offer for both Snowflake and Biggs them to live with them.

"You just said there wasn't enough room for Kagome, Jasper, or her cats! But now you're saying there's room for Snowflake and Biggs?!" Steven demanded, angrily. He turned around, his fist clenched, and a scowl on his face.

Pearl was shocked at the way Steven was looking at her, she didn't think she had ever seen him that angry let alone with her. "It's different!" She defended herself. "How?! Because they're your friends?! Or is it because you decided it and not me!" Steven began to make his way to her.

"That's not it at all!" Pearl shouted meeting him halfway. "It sure sounds like it is! Why can't they stay here but Snowflake and Biggs can?!" Steven asked angrily. By this point everyone was watching them go back and forth, no one knowing who would come out on top.

"Because we didn't all agree that they could stay!"

"I didn't agree Snowflake and Biggs could stay! Just say the real reason, Pearl!"

"FINE! I don't trust Jasper! She fought against us for years before her corruption! How are we supposed to trust her?!"

"JASPER WAS FOLLOWING THE ORDERS OF YELLOW DIAMOND! IF MOM HAD'NT TAKEN COMPASSION IN EARTH'S LIFE AND CONTINUED WITH THEIR ORIGINAL PLAN, YOU WOULDNT HAVE STOPPED HER! INSTEAD, YOU WOULD HAVE STAYED BY HER SIDE AND DID WHATEVER SHE TOLD YOU TO DO AND MORE!"

~ End Flashback ~

Now that she thought about it, neither one of them were currently speaking to each other. Looking at Pearl, she knew the reason why she wasn't talking to Steven because no matter how much Pearl may deny it and nobody wants to believe it. What Steven said may have been harsh, but it was the truth.

If Rose, Pink Diamond, was more like the other diamonds who knows where they would all be right now. Certainly not here, not on Earth like this.

~ With Steven ~

Steven stifled a yawn while stretching, he could hardly sleep with all of the questions and worries in his mind, and he didn't know if he should enter her dream or not. He wanted to, but a part of him felt like he would be invading her space; another part of him felt like he could wake her up that way.

Stifling another yawn, he looked around the room. He could tell he wasn't the only one who had questions for and was worried about Kagome. With him was Jasper and gems who had given him a somewhat cold and quick introduction of themselves.

An Amethyst named Amy. She's Jasper's height and body size and bright lilac skin. She has thick fluffy lavender hair that comes down to her knees, plum purple eyes, and her gem was located where her belly button is supposed to be. She was wearing a lilac top that looked like an off-shoulder crop top, black pants, and lilac boots.

An Aquamarine named Aqua. She has a slim figure, cyan skin, pixie cut sea blue hair, sea-green eyes, and her gem was located on her chest. She was wearing a flower crown, white, slightly baggy off-shoulder top, blue jean short shorts with flowers on the front, and light blue hightops with flowers on the side of them.

A Black Sapphire named Adreana. She has jet black skin, black hair that covered the top half of her face, and came down to her chin, and her gem was located on her upper right arm. She was wearing a grey off-shoulder shirt, white short shorts, and grey boots.

A Pearl named Pearlie. She has pale skin, white hair that was in a bun with no bangs, and her gem was on her forehead. She was wearing a white shirt, overall shorts, and white boots.

A purple striped beta kindergarten gem Lily. She's also Jasper's height and body size; she has purple skin with lavender bands and stripes along her body. She has pale lavender hair that reached her elbows kept in a bun with a bandana keeping her bangs out of her eyes, dark purple right eye, and light purple left eye. Her gem is located on her chest. She was wearing a plum purple flannel shirt tied into a knot under her chest, skinny black jeans, and plum purple boots.

A Ruby named Cherry. She looked the same as other rubies. She has bright scarlet skin, burgundy irises, and dark burgundy, dark red eyes, and square-shaped hair. She is short and has a thick build. Her gemstone is located in the palm of her right hand. She wore a dark maroon sports bra, black spandex shorts, and black boots.

And a white sapphire named Sophie. She has pure white skin, white hair that covered the top half of her face, and came down to the middle of her back, and her gem was located on her upper left arm. She was wearing a silver off-shoulder dress and black flats.
